General Attributes

Animalistic Traits: Although Leon appears to have no animal characteristics, sometimes people describes his face as a kicked puppy, which may play into the fact that the one who turned him was of a Dog genetic.

Personality: Leon is generally a duty oriented person : carefully methodical, it's obvious however, he's a rookie. Unable to keep his emotions always in check, he tends to act impulsively rash at times. Such as running straight into danger should his target be in the middle of a group. To Leon, sometimes, common sense slips through his fingers, without meaning to. But he makes up for this lack of sense with determination, and a hardiness that seems to get him through most things unscathed : some call him lucky because of it.

Leon does have traits of being stubborn, such as not giving up when the situation seems hopeless, but it often seems even stuck as the underdog, he finds a way to keep going. To the male, he doesn't seem to quite be dumb and stupid, but almost is at times : it's a delicate balance, one that makes him very human. He has a strong heart, and although he may be initially cold in the name of duty, he warms up eventually. He doesn't seem to dislike much, often keeping his mouth shut rather then complain : which can work against him, particularly if he's hurt.

The male seems to have the instance of unmatched faith in people, even though he's cautious : he always seems to believe in his comrades, and takes it personally when one of them betrays them. A very unit person, Leon seems to work better in a team then alone : but when required, he can work alone with no complaints. Sometimes called a white knight, due to his tendencies to rescue damsels he views in distress, he takes the name with grace. He is also a hard worker, and if someone finds to voice his faults, he will take the time to analyze them, and fix them if needed.

Leon seems to understand very well what it means to be alone, and refuses to leave a comrade behind if he can help it. Death seems to affect him deeply, no matter whose it is : it's almost as if he's sensitive to it. But in all, Leon is a slightly aloof person, but one with a good heart. In fact, he's known to have a weakness for dogs in general.

Surprisingly, Leon has an affinity for the several gems and the pendant, that Eiei employs. This allows him to use them, almost like an Iramasha : to stock energy in those gems, to use an attack from them. They help as a medium for him to transfer his powers more fully to his Tsurugi. Also, the dragon heart allows for Eiei and Leon to speak without their helmet on.

Due to not wanting to stock up on ammunition, particularly when natural, Leon has learned to form bullets out of his own Reishi, allowing him particular ammo when he wants it.

Standby Form Appearance: In standby, Eiei seems to take on a small animals characteristics : actually, it transforms into a small puppy that can be hidden inside of Leon's cloak or hat should he be wearing one. It is soft white in color, and yet seems to easily hide in brown colors, with big adorable eyes. The only reason one marks it as a Tsurugi is the fact that the Sugiura clan symbol is on the puppy's head.

Personality: The first thing noticeable about Eiei is the lack of speech : Eiei's tongue is cut out in his humanoid form. In fact, Eiei doesn't seem to talk or see : just smell and hear. Which is strange, but yet fitting : in appearance, he's a very submissive seeming person, always simply following Leon, even acting like a dog, which Leon obliges. To anyone outside of the two's relationship, they would assume that Eiei is the submissive one, with Leon having control. Which is false in senses : Eiei is a very dominant person. With strong opinions and strong will, he sometime clashes with Leon : particularly on the points of mercy. However, they seem to have a strong bond, despite their argument, and Eiei, being slightly sadistic, seems to enjoy pain inflicted on Leon. There is, however, a sort of wild, and fierce instinct that leads Eiei to keep Leon protected, and to keep to his duty : perhaps the loyalty of a dog, if one were to describe it. In General, Eiei is like a foil to Leon's personality, like the dark side : however, the two get on remarkably well, and seem almost comfortable in their angel-demon type of relationship.

History: Eiei was forged by Sugiura Jade. Not much is known about this blacksmith : originally, he simply drew armors and such in his human life. Eventually, over a long period of time, after dying, Jade seemed to have managed to learn the craft and even so, was not satisfied with the new concept of Tsurugi armors. In fact, he sought the techniques for a better one, the old ones. Then he sought a Musha of his own, before even crafting the armor. Needless to say, he found Leon, and well.

After that, whilst Leon was acclimatising, Jade forged the armor. His very nature, his dreams and desires fused into his being and then the armor itself, creating something of which he dreamed of : Eiei. Becoming nearly entirely different, having become the embodiment of his dreams, Jade is now non-existent, and has become Eiei. The armor itself is relatively new, unsure of it's own abilities just like Leon is unsure of being a Sugiura : but this lack of certainty seemed to bond the two into a formidable team, even though they seem to lack the proper training.

This armor was made with some high quality metals : naturally resistant to most pressures, and even able to use Reishi, this metal is unique in the way that it seems otherworldly. Silver gray in color, it covers the entirety of Eiei's format.

-- Reishi Gems --
These gems, crafted explicitly, are green in color, and help bolster Leon's Sugiura magic, which can be used whilst in the armor. The gems are hard to crack as well, and absorb surrounding Reishi in order to help augment Eiei if needed.

-- The Cloak of Fate --
This cloak is made of strongly threaded spider silk, and a light layer of metal alloys that transform into a very light but durable fabric. This fabric resists even Eiei's own armaments and is seen floating elegantly behind the Tsurugi, adding a sense of taste and fashion.

-- Dragon's Heart --
Unknown to many, this Tsurugi was produced with a vital and fatal flaw : a weak spot. This area is where where the pendant, which Leon possesses, of a strange material lies. This material actually is a sort of crystal, that works in conjunction with Eiei and Leon, allowing them to accede perhaps, their normal capacities. However, it is also a major part of their link between musha and tsurugi : should this area be cracked open, or stabbed through, it would instantly dispell the Tsurugi, leaving Leon and Eiei more or less defenseless.

-- Blade of Heaven --
The blade is a claymore of sorts, long and requiring dual-wielding in most cases. This blade is made especially sharp, and is even addable to itself : in terms, it can add other things to itself, but only at the hilt. These attachments can be small but deadly. One such attachment is possibly a gem similar to what's equipped in the Tsurugi itself, able to absorb general environment Reishi and use it to amplify attacks, or a small blade of similarity to the claymore, or even a gun, should it be required.

Past & Roleplay Sample

Character Background: Leon was born as a human within a small city. It was quite peaceful, but from time to time, things did happen. Unfortunately, this is where leon grew his whole life : the hustle and bustle of America, learning many languages from his parents because they tended to travel. Leon particularly liked Japan. Many thought he would end up with cyber-implants, considering his almost obtuse lack of spirituality, but around the age of 15, he seemed to have discovered it. Joining up with the authorities in his small town at a young age, he had a couple of years on the street, before the tragedy happened.

Namely, America being torn apart. Like most refugees, Leon was aiming for Canada : but they were side attacked by a group of hungry hollows, considering the massive chaos. He stayed behind, and aimed to take out the hollows, managing almost fully : but one caught him and proceeded to rip his soul out of his body. A traveling Sugiura seemed to have found him, another refugee, albeit a bit late. The suffering plus, having been bit by the hollow, as soon soothed, and with an agreement, was turned into the Sugiura's sort of child. Changing his genetics was painful : but it worked, and he was saved.

This was when he was 20. Now, having had five years to accustom himself to being a Sugiura, his turner ended up sacrificing himself into an armor : and willingly, if he could help this man like he had been helped, Leon became a Musha. He was willing to help this man, and thus the two became bonded. After five years, and still not having discovered the totality of each other, the two seem ready, and are heading towards the Sugiura lands and Karakura, ready to claim their existence. After all, only so much hiding will do to gain strength.
