Launceston - Launceston, TasMANIA[War for Australia] - Page 3 Empty Re: Launceston, TasMANIA[War for Australia]

Im...possible? Moroi supposed it was a fair point that Hueco Mundo was probably not at the forefront for academic pursuits, and it was even less likely that physics was especially high on their list of priorities...but nothing about her attack was in any way incalculable. Calculating the trajectory of a rotating projectile was not a new science, hell it wasn’t even a complicated science centuries ago. Humans were able to map the trajectories of bullets long before they even knew what an Arrancar was. No, there was not a whole lot of her attack that was impossible at all. In addition, anyone trained in fighting against any form of polearm, be it spear, halberd, or Guan Dao, one of the first lessons you learn is that you never follow the spear head. The tip of the spear is always what has the widest range of motion, what is always capable of being the most deceptive in its movements, but just like a hockey player plays the man instead of the puck, the attention is always paid to the shaft of the spear. It is the part that is able to move the least away from the point of impact with the most force and consequently is the easiest point to pinpoint the trajectory. Ignoring that the possible targets more or less extended to “a place where it would connect with Moroi,” and consequently did provide a range of possibilities, simply by understanding the physics of leveraged motion it was not difficult to pinpoint where exactly her attack was likely to hit. In fact, Moroi’s target was not going to be the tip of her weapon at all.

However, her attack was not the first thing Moroi would have to react to in this little exchange. After a short and confusing exchange between the two of them, which Moroi wasn’t even sure made sense to monsters, much less to anyone with working rationality, the energy output of the small monster surged, much like it did previously when he first ran in to the small creature after removing the first hostile from the fight. This was the Vizard ability, the massive release in monstrous energy forming as that sinister mask. It was the only truly exciting thing about her to be perfectly honest. Past that she was the run of the mill self-important child, nothing Moroi couldn’t learn from a random human off the street, which was another fascinating if decidedly depressing comparison to be made between humanity and monster. They were all so filthy. Camilla was actually a potential threat now with access to this much energy and the combination of her shinigami release plus that hollow reiatsu was not something he could ignore, even if he was still confident in surpassing her. The energy was pushing his senbon and fragmentation out of her limb, returning some form of mobility back to her and cause the tips of Moroi’s lips behind the Akagai to curl up in to the most subtle of smirks. The monsters were so, so very much like humans. She was outmatched, she was beaten, and yet still she refused to accept the logical and proper recourse and flee. Human notions, like bravery and stubbornness, were so very foolish. This monster, this Vizard, was so very human it was disgusting. It would be even more hilarious to Moroi if he knew that she envied the pitiful creatures that she so emulated.

Hers was not the only burst of Reiatsu however, the new arrival, the arrancar, also underwent a metamorphosis. That must of been what they referred to as a Ressurecion. While the power spoke was notable, and his visage became considerably more grotesque and monstrous, she was still significantly less of a threat than Camilla. Camilla needed to channel both the energy of her mask and the upper echelons of her Shikai to even hope to punch through Moroi’s armor and Tekkai and that was with a considerably higher base Reiatsu output, Moroi was careful to not succumb to arrogance and negligence, but it was hard to imagine her putting any significant dent in to Moroi. The mechanical man gripped his monstrous sword and let it hang down at his side as the faceless mask eyelessly glared at the pair as they seemed to be working through their own mental struggles, Camilla trying sincerely harder to reign in control over the hollow, apparently a fruitless struggle because it did not take very long for the small monster to make her move. Her movements were trying very hard to intimidate him and convey some sort of animalistic primal reckless abandon, but it was as fruitless an effort as the shinigami soul’s attempt to regain control over her body. He was not distracted or intimidated by her display in the slightest.

Moroi was not sure why her movements lacked so much imagination. This was now the fourth time she opened her assault with an overhead, downward, dual slash toward his upper body. She wasn’t even trying to be unpredictable now. As she utilized her Sonido after her forward feint, attempting to flank around behind him, Moroi was already on the move. The boy dropped the upper body of the suit, his Ookami brushing along the ground, much like a sprinter would and pushed forward with his back slightly parallel to the ground. This put enough distance between himself and the descending axes to give him just enough time to dart forward, gliding along the ground and for his opponent’s descending blows to strike nothing but air and if her pattern remained the same, and it had thus far, she would follow him to continue her assault. Simultaneously as he moved along the ground, Moroi saw the the incoming array of shounen abilities, power pole extend and hair growth being rather terrifying to be honest, and already concocted his rebuttal to Camilla’s continued pursuit. While his spine was pointed toward the incoming arrancar, a soft suction of air could be heard before another massive spike fired out of where the suit’s spine would be. The contracted spike would extend to its full six feet by two feet size and would be rifling through the air at stunning speed, aimed right for the arrancar’s chest. He wasn’t sure if it would hit her, but given the incredible piercing power of the spike, he was pretty sure she wouldn’t have the capacity to block the giant projectile.

As the spear left Moroi, flying along side the extending pole, Moroi’s front foot planted down into the ground, and dragged his sword up through the air, connecting a few inches behind the bladed head of the weapon. As his sword connecter, Moroi let his back foot shift down, dropping his center of gravity and pushing her spear up and over his shoulder, Ookami resting right above him just in time as Camilla repositioned herself above him , driving her axes...again...directly down at him. The blades of the axes smacked down on his sword and their force was actually rather impressive, the pressure down upon his blade drove even his massive body into the ground, the earth splitting and crumbling around his feet as even he struggled to keep his sword level under her massive weapons’ assault. Unfortunately, his sword was not the only thing he dragged up with him. As he moved to block her strike, he had simultaneously parried and redirected his opponent’s extending, untoldly, weapon, positioning its tip right toward Camilla’s heart. Hopefully the irony of her lone wolf monologue was not lost on her.

((Not going to be posting with Camilla again, just Bikuta.))

"Dokuwoireru, Jalorda."

Bringing the blade of his Zanpakutō through his chest, piercing his heart as he began to take on a form similar to his previous. His legs began to morph into one as they expanded and came to a sharp point. The pigment of his skin changing to a green hue below his belt line, while the sword began to drive itself further into his chest until nothing was left. He let out a gruesome hiss from the intense pain that his resserecion caused him, as the garganta began to expose his transformation taking place. Struggling to take form of the serpent that he once was as an Adjuchas. His reiatsu began to reach levels that far surpassed that of his subordinates that were in front him, diving forward to escape from the dark depths of the garganta, taking in the position of his comrades as his body waved its way sky borne. His immediate resserecion would signal to his subordinates that this was no time for child's play, which would likely make them think of the white unit of scrap metal they have been fighting with a much greater threat.

The garganta remained open while he sped his way toward the direction of Camilla and Moroi where the forever extending spear seemed to be headed from its source of Pamela. He positioned his body to proceed along with the spear and began to stab at the shaft of it as it continued extending gaining control of its abilities, causing it to halt just before it pierced through the chest of Camilla who was also aerial hanging up right above Moroi. Using his tail once more he swatted the spear away as he began to build a cero aiming it toward the blood-thirsty Pamela. He was the only one that seemed to be familiar with this side of Pamela and knew that the only way to end this rampage would be through pushing her out of the way. He knew that his attack wasn't going to be enough to tame her, as only her death would keep her from proceeding toward her enemy. It would be just enough to push her right into the garganta and close it behind her. Making the last adjustments in his position has the green aura radiated from his palm he turned his body to Pamela and shot off the cero at speeds unreadable to her skill level. The cero would likely be well placed into her abdomen, temporarily winding her, but sending her out of harm's way as she was pushed off into the garganta. No words would be exchanged, just actions as he never recalled calling her to come out to this battle field. He'd take time, if necessary, to mend her wounds after he got them to safety. Though, he has no control over her actions, he at least liked to know the whereabouts of his members.

Readjusting his sights to Moroi and Camilla as he accelerated to their position he dragged the tip of his tail down into the pavement below as he imbued it with his reiatsu gaining the ability to manipulate it as he pleased. Ripping his tail up, the surface erupted from the ground as it began to travel toward Moroi. However, just as it was within five feet of him the eruption would stop as a liquified form sprawled from beneath his feet encasing his legs if he were to stay in his current position. The reaitsu embedded to the earth's surface that he had manipulated would ware off after approximately five seconds and would most likely be easily broken by the white suit of high-tech armor. A loud static sound resonating in the area indicated a change of position as his physical appearance shifted to a blur as he wrapped his left arm around the waist of the small girl pulling her from the scene. The sound of static returning to a position behind that of Moroi's original as he left the vicinity of Moroi. He tossed the girl to the ground if he was able to retrieve her and struck her mask with the tip of his tail immediately returning her to her normal self as her body became limp and the mask crumbled to the ground.

"Australia and the Monsuta are not worthy of the deaths of my comrades... no war should be worthy of such things, not in the mortal world. Such actions that have been portrayed here are nothing but mere insults to the human race. I'm not sure what is beneath the metal confines of your suit, but I was to guess it would be a human in their. Incapable of fighting with his own hands. I commend you on your wits, if it isn't just all technology that has driven you to success that is. As much as I would like to stay around and rip your pitiful being from that metal suit I must make my departure and tend to other things that are worth more than the time spent here. If I may, I shall be dismissing myself. Please, don't keep yourself from finding us. The Kurikku would be more than happy to put your existence to an end away from Earth's soil. I'm sure your alliance holds to be nowhere within this war."

As he finished speaking his tail slowly wrapped around the limp, worn body of Camilla; slithering away for a few feet to see if any further actions would be sent by the mech unit. Knowing that the large suit was unable to move silently, he nonchalantly brought up his hand bidding farewell as his other hand sliced through the thin air a gnarling zip resounded as the portal opened that would lead himself and Camilla to Hueco Mundo. Glancing over his shoulder he awaited for the garganta to fully open as he entered and turned around sending a small smirk to Moroi. The Garganta closed leaving only his face visible until his complete figure vanished and the black void disappeared.

((If Pamela chooses to dodge the cero or something of that extent she can remain in Launceston, that is her choice. Camilla's inner choice was to stay, but her mental condition was too ill for her to stick around. Thus, she wouldn't have an objections as she was too fatigued to really make any decisions. Anyway, choice is your's Pamela.))

Like hell you'll calculated it she thought to herself. The machine. It was flawed. In her rampaging and insidious state, not only was her murderous thirst greatly enhanced, but also her analytic skills had been flooded with the excitement the new personality generated. The enemy seemed to rely heavily on calculated attacks and defenses. She wasn't quite sure what his thoughts on humanity were, but his dependency on calculated potentials would likely be his downfall one day. Regardless of the knowledge and calculations of the machine, it was not possible to pinpoint with any degree of certainty, where the weapon would land or strike as not even Pamela knew since the direction and strategy was constantly being changed in her mind reflected by the random and unorthodox movements of the weapon. The problem was discovering which of the movements were intended, and which, like the earlier offshoot arrow, although much better concealed in movements this time, was merely a rouse.

Knowing the potential trajectory of the weapon, even at varying degrees of closeness to the target would yield absolutely no results as it was being constantly being redirected in patterns that did not allow for accurate calculations with any significantly meaningful results. Her attack pattern was unlike that of a bullet shot from a firearm. For the most part, the trajectory of a bullet is set at the time of fire by the way it was shot and where it was aimed unless other external mechanisms permitted the shot in trajectory. In a way, Pamela's weapon was a bullet she could control and freely manipulate to do as she saw fit. Allowing him to believe he had the upper hand, her reflection expressed no significant concern with his actions. However, the tin can seemed to be not without options and had launched quite the hasty attack on her direction. Trying her best to rush out of the way, she allowed some of the strands of hair from the attack to recede and extend and expand trying to cover the area that would be impacted by the attack. Given the bala speed that her hair traveled, it was easily able to outspeed and get in the way of the attack. Though the difference in power between them was great, the nature of the attack was largely unchanged. Either way, the attack from her foe was strong enough to cut and break through the manipulated strands of hair reconfigured for her protection. However, her movement and that of her hair's had been enough to allow her to slip past the range of impact of the attack.

In a swift motion, her enemy seemed to want to redirect her attack to harm Camilla. Fool, she thought to herself. Allowing the weapon to glide over his weapon as he had intended, the weapon would suddenly make a turn at the bala speeds it traveled, and given the extreme proximity to the metal guy, it would most likely be able to hit his chest. However, the hit would likely happen just after strands of hair that had been pushed aside by his attack, readied like metal piano wires as they wrapped themselves to each of his limbs, separating the arms and legs and outstretching him. Though neither the hair nor the weapon would be enough to create considerable and lasting damage given the difference in their power, it was bound to make him remember her.

Before she was able to continue on her attack, she saw Bikuta appeared. Had it not been because her darker personality had a keen distrust for anyone but herself, she would have faced a much darker fate. Though oblivious to whatever Bikuta thought as she couldn't care less of what he thought of her at the moment, she was quite aware of the situation. She had gone to the battlefield without being told to. Before he was even out of the garganta, and seeing his form, she withdrew her weapon and her hair at bala speeds, at those nearly invisibly fast speeds at which they traveled. The forceful retrieval of the hair would have likely left behind some traces of reiatsu of her that could likely help Moroi find her one day if he ever desired to, or just be trash to be tossed aside with the remnants of the battle. Almost out of reflex, the bare and subtle movements of Bikuta made her retrieve her weapons as a powerful cero was shot her way. Her hair and her weapon, both traveling at bala speeds and thus much faster than his attack, would cover up in an attempt to protect her. Nevertheless, his cero held much more power. Though he would be able to hit Pamela, the strength of her reconfigured hair and her weapon had been enough to soften the impact of the hit enough where it would only create minimal damage that would heal easily rather fast through her regeneration. However, regardless of the mild pain, the push was sufficient to push her back into the garganta, but not before a sinister smile was seen as she was pushed into the darkness. In Bikuta's and Moroi's way, the smile would shift to a more warm and placid one signaling the return of Pamela's more delicate personality, even if it was uncertain when her other side would strike again. And with that, the garganta closed as did a peculiar time in her life, though one that was bound to hunt her and appear once again.

「LOCKING THIS THREAD」
Okay, since Ima is taking too long to make his exit post or whatever, I'm locking and closing this thread. WIth the opposition silent, I'm going to assume that the city of Launceston is in the Vanguard's name and that's another thread down for the Australia event so we can get this damn thing over with.
