The Unabara Family

The earliest noted beginnings of the Unabra Family are noted to be well before the rise of the Gotei as a faction. Showing signs of connection and dealing with the Criminal Underworld since their inception. Well back to Shingen Unabara's reign as the head of the family. Though this goes back into the two thousand five hundred years, making him long dead and buried. The family began building connections at this point. Working as Assassins down the line as to keep business float and reputation alive. Though in previous era none of the families infamous Horsemen were required to do such. Though they didn't have Steeds at the time. The Horsemen of the Unabara's previous era's were just as dangerous as the more renown ones. The Family's main dealings have been with the Criminal Underworld and thus they have connections through each realm. With the more seedy side of lands. Able to blend into the fabric seamlessly they are proud of their prowess as gatekeepers of the criminal world.

Now fast-forwarding several years into the future we come upon Tsubasa Unabara and his family. They were moving further away from the previous duties kept. Trying to become more or less a functional facility of society. Moving towards light and trying to be useful. Each of the three who'd been active at the time did distance themselves from the prior family business. Tsubasa himself rising to become Head Captain. This did, in turn, change the outlook of the family's goals in a way. Tsubasa marketed them as Assassins among heroes, not wishing to divulge the true nature of his family. The previous job lost to the sands of time and it's endless flow. But he did later discover that his family once acted as Police for the criminal underworld. They held a duty that was given to them long through the blood. Tsubasa after his time as the Head Captain silently off the radar began to put them to work. Finding he had little time left he began compiling data. Data for the next generation of Unabara to use.

Thus brings us to our current time with Takehiko Unabara also known as Takehiko Kuchiki, the last Unabara with their blood inside them. The secrets and society that Tsubasa has left him will give him something outside of what most anticipate. This is the nature of the Shadow that watches and keeps things in motion.




Clan Head:This position is held by the most powerful member in the family. Often lead by Death who is the leader of the Horsemen. Their word is generally final through whatever means they take. It can be discussed between those who hold the four ranks. But generally speaking, it is kept between them. In a manner suitable to this the Clan Head is also in charge of the relationships they take. For example, standing with the Gotei and its people. They could decide to leave and all members would follow. The Unabara hold absolute loyalty to the person who holds the mantle of the clan leader. No other person holds quite the level of authority, especially among the Old Guard. Though everyone's reasons are different. Some are merely friends to the family and thus conduct as such.

Horsemen: These have power equal too Death only, so they can challenge him and his choices. Though this sometimes comes down to a battle or did in previous incarnations. Depending on present leadership they hold a great deal of authority.
