Training, Arrancar Style

Hueco Mundo, the world of the Hollows, located between the realms of Soul Society and the Human World. Such a place was beyond the imagination of the average human, and was something that could only be common in the most terrifying of nightmares. In this place, Hollows found refuge in the neverending sands that lied on its surface. There were Hollows of all shapes and sizes, ranging from what looked to be the average lizard, to the greatest of beasts that were as huge as multi-story buildings. Of those that lingered upon the surface, the most common danger would have been the Adjuchas class Hollows. While not being the strongest of the Hollow's, this state was, while rare, the easiest form to achieve for intelligent menos class creatures. These too, ranged from all shapes and sizes, and more often than not seemed to represent an animal in the human world. To keep their form, these had to devour other Hollows almost constantly. Their ultimate goal was the achieve the fabled Vasto-Lorde state, although only rumors were floating about on how to achieve the state. That was to continue feasting upon their own kind. Truly, a savage race.

Oddly enough, most Hollow found themselves hidden beneath the sandy surface, awaiting the time that they were alerted by a forein entity. However, today, something was quite visible on the surface. Long white hair covered its face, apparently covering a mask, something it could have appeared it was hiding. This hair had no particular style, and simply floated around in the wind, falling as the wind wished it. At this time, the right eye was revealed, a red glow illuminating the moonlit sand. This glow only lasted but a few moments, yet most would have noticed it if they were looking upon him. Yes, him. It was definately male, the way he wore his clothing easily have that away, if someone couldn't tell from the relatively manly face he rarely showed. For one, the top half of his white clothing was completely open, revealing a toned chest. Someone could have easily assumed that he either often trained, or was use to fighting, which wasn't far from the truth. His jacket completely lacked arms, aswell, which clearly revealed his arms. As such, it could easily be assumed that this jacket was only worn for the way it looked, with no real practical use. The same color scheme found its way onto the bottom half of his clothing aswell, his trousers being incredibly loose, only staying on him due to the fact he wore a black piece of fabric around his waist. Around his hands and feet, bandages, either through injury or personal preference, nobody was quite sure, not even the Arrancar who wore them.

His Resurreccion was definately an oddity compared to most. It was but a pair of golden claws, attached to one another by a long chain that hung loose across the front of the Arrancar's chest. This appeared to not restrain him in any real way, although it was definately signifying something. From most onlookers, it would appear that the general idea behind it was to show that he needed to be locked up in a cage somewhere. Continuing to wonder around, this Arrancar found his mind wondering. He truly couldn't pay attention to much for a considerable amount of time, his intuitive mind often finding things more interesting to do. Infact, the only thing he showed a moderate enjoyment from was battle. The thrill of taking another's life was not comparable to anything he had ever felt before or since. Their final screams were but music to his ears, their bloody corpse being nothing more than a keepsake. Oh how he loved that smell in the morning. Fresh.

But why was he out in the desert on this day? Who knew. He certainly didn't. He didn't truly care either. It was something to do, and he was hoping to increase his strength. At the moment, he was just a number. A pair of digits that signified his age. He deserved something greater, something more fitting to his strength. To be an Espada. It was every Arrancar's dream, and while nothing more to many, this beast would write his name down in history for being the greatest that ruled. Methias Stelligar.

The wind began to shift upon what seemed like the endless sands of time, blowing a cold chill over the man who stood alone in the moonlight. Sand blew upwards from it's resting place, riding the cold draft. It seemed as if it was the perfect night. As to what was perfect about it, was only to those who observed in the shadows. A prey, a meal, it seemed that they would become more powerful tonight, or was it a hopeless ploy? A loud screech broke the midnight silence, waves of black creatures burrowing upwards from the ground. Why would they attack like this? What was there purpose? It was simply their calling, a test of strength and endurance. From every corner of the dunes came forth some embodiment of flesh. Claws, teeth, tails,-- all sorts of body parts began to lift the sand off of themselves. It was soon to pass, that an armada of hollow had risen from the lower forest. However, many of them did not even notice the man, in the howling screams of their brethren in arms.

A few weary eyes began to wander, catching a glimpse, or rather a feel of the strange occurrence. They were commanded to strike upon sight, to anything that even remotely look human, their lower intelligence obtaining the best of their minds. Eyes began to shift towards this arancar, standing out amongst a crowd of black bodies and white masks. The screams of war began to slowly recede into silence as the attention focused ever so nearer to the man. Formations began to take place, the creatures creating a circle by their own instinctive nature.

His head tilted slightly over to his right side, gazing openly in the direction of the arancar. He began to move forward slowly, the heavy pounding of his footsteps rattling the foundations of the sand. A loud scream escaped the ghastly white opening of his mask. It was like that of a ghoul, his tong wavering outwards into the air with the scream,wiggling. From the pure disgusting nature it gave off, it was enough to communicate a message to the other hollow. A simple message. However, it was more than just a message. It was a fair warning ,communications of the wild and untaimed, "If you try to take my prey, I will turn on you." The other, more insignificant hollow slowly began to make a pathway to the man, showing their respect for power. He moved his massive figure forward, the rather slow movements of his huge muscles frightened the weaker ones.

~Large Hollow NPC #2~
The other hollow that began to move apart, and some even fled, alerting him. He quickly moved up with the gross movements of his equally large figure, dangling his extravagantly long arms as he dashed up the dune. A few, very unfortunate hollow, were trampled by his oversize feet, as he found difficulty moving upwards on the dune. It appeared that his larger body mass caused the sands to move out from under him. The falling sands even overturned some of the more, insect-like hollow and buried them for a brief moment. However, the quickly regained their posture and shook it off. After a few moments of struggling, it reached the top of the dune and gazed at the arancar. It began to dash downwards at Methias, charging like a mad bull and trampling even more hollow that scurried to get the hell out of the way. His jaw's cracked open and his mouth widened. It seemed as if he was going to attempt to swallow methias whole.

~Large Hollow NPC~
It's large head quickly turned to the charging hollow, swiftly switching back in almost a confusion to his prey. It was concerned that it's meal would be taken. He rushed as fast as he could at the arancar, not regarding the other hollow around him just like the other. He rose his claw up into the air, the long tendril-like fingers sharper than swords. His feet caused sand to be spewed upwards behind him, throwing the fine grains everywhere, just like his rushing counterpart.

~Hollow Horde~
The beasts began to become troubled, the majority of the weaker ones starting to panic. They began to let out horrific screams of agonizing fear and hysteria. Every hollow around him began to throw into a frenzy, some even going into a blind rage like the two larger hollow around them. They quickly followed behind the two, now raging even from down the dunes like a horde of zombies. Screams filled the air, it was not just the one's in sight. The whole horde, the armada even had been alerted. New hollow were beginning to come into sensing rage, adjucas class. No, it seem that there was even more powerful than that on their way. This was truly a horrific moment, a confusion beyond reason, and a riot beyond control.
