A moment's time for training [MWD]

Ritsuko wasn't expecting this at all, first she had to wipe her eyes to adjust what the hell happened, was it a gust of wind? No it was an axe but not just any axe. Looking behind her and seeing a giant axe lodged deep within the tree...it went so fast that she didn't have enough time to properly react. She turned her head to see who threw it with some immense force, and there she was...The first thing that she noticed was her size. The woman casted a shadow that nearly blocked the sun itself, she wore grey yoga pants and a red shirt which fitted her perfectly and as such she could tell she was musuclar similar to that of hercules himself.

She was about to introduce herself to the woman however, she immediately cut her off and only wants to see her will to live...that in itself confused the hell out of her.

Whatever the case ritsuko wasn't going to let her large stature intimidate her, besides she was looking for someone to test out her new abilities on. "Fine, if your looking for a fight i'll give you one!" Just then Ritsuko immediately stepped back a few feet from the woman and decided to transform...however this transformation in particular required an oath to be said and is said to increase the person's power.

"Light and Dark merge together to achieve renewal and balance."

Stomping her foot on the ground, the crying sound of her seal whirred out as it began glowing a pulsating orange bright enough to be seen underneath her clothes. "I will solve all mysteries, even the mystery of death." Her feet began to float off the ground as if she was floating, the seal between her chest began puslating so much that an orange outline appeared around her entire body.

"Come child, take my hand as we'll explore the Descent of the Goddess!"

As she said the words her seal began to glow bright orange accomponied with a small scream, as ritsuko felt a great rush of solar energy and found herself being lifted high off the ground. Her eyes changed from their beautiful aqua blue to a dark red color similar to that of blood, her outfit had a beautiful black and red design symbolizing the beauty of space her brown hair now changing to blonde. A black crown was atop her head and a flowing red cape began swishing in the wind.

In her right hand ritsuko carried a spellbook engraved with symbols and a skull in the middle. And on her left was a small one handed sword with a fire-like theme. With a flip of her spellbook pages ran across as she began observing each and everyone each one was filled with different symbols and phrases no mortal human would understand.


"Let us begin shall we~ Try this on for size Flame Salvo!"
Once said a small shockwave of fire began to appear around ritsuko spreading outwards up to 40 yards, if the spell hit the woman would be moved back a few feet with extreme burn marks across her body. And if not she would use Hikari to blind her with bright UV light.

The giantess found it a little odd that a phrase was being said, but she wouldn't judge. A lot of people needed to be dramatic before they could access their powers, before they could reveal their true strength and to decimate their foes. Nemesis just personally found it a little silly that you would have to leave yourself so open during your 'awakening', someone fast enough could snuff your life out before you could even finish your phrase. Even if that was a possibility, it didn't mean Nemesis would do it. She wanted to see just how strong and powerful this girl could become, to see the limits of her might.

Soon enough, Nemesis understood far more about the girl just from this awakening. A seal, something to inhibit one's true self. Ritsuko was deemed too powerful by something in the past and had her power sealed away, but it could be broken in order for her to access that power. To ensure her own survival, though the question was who sealed it, and why? Then again, that wasn't very important in the current situation, just food for thought from the fighter's assumptions. She could be entirely wrong with what it was... but past experiences made her believe otherwise.

She remained still for the entire transformation, for the glowing orange lights, for her body to just shift and morph from the surge of power. For everything to change about her. She certainly felt different, there was more power seeping off from her form, enough for Nemesis to rate her above normal soldiers and infantry. This was someone seeking to strengthen themselves and rise above the need for rankings, and their first steps was through this odd 'solar' energy that she drew from. The demon's eyebrow cocked at the sight of a spellbook being brandished, the tome flipped open as pages began to flutter as they were turned quickly, a certain spell or ability being searched for-

It seemed like she didn't have it memorized. A devilish grin appeared upon the Bloody Barbie's lips as she already created her own win condition. It wouldn't be to dismember her, or incapacitate. It would be to remove the book from her and see what her next action could be, if she was capable of fighting without it, if that book was her very lifeline or simply a tool? Flames began to erupt forth from the center of the woman's form, energy shooting forth around her in a violent shock wave as Nemesis was already annoyed at this... these were the woods, trees and flammable materials all about. She didn't want such a beautiful place to become tarnished, so she acted rather quickly.

A foot slammed against the ground, a faint tremor felt from the force as she launched herself forwards at a fairly frightening pace. She wasn't fast, but she could use her strength to fix that, by shoving herself off at a powerful speed not towards Ritsuko, but towards her axe. The only issue was the shock wave of fire heading towards her, but that was an easy fix. Upon colliding with the blow, her body flashed a deep, dark red as it seemingly did nothing. The knockback effect cancelled out by sheer will, though the damage remained. Burns upon her form visible, but not enogh to deter her as sh slammed a foot against the ground to skid to a stop, kicking up quite a bit of dirt and earth. She grasped the blade of her axe tightly and ripped it free from the tree it was attached too, splintering the trunk and tearing a nice chunk of wood free as she could commit to her next action.

The axe was brought right above her head as fingers began to twirl the weapon violently, letting it spin and spin until it looked closer to a helicopter blade than a battleaxe. As only a few faint moments passed, a powerful gust of wind began to pull Ritsuko closer to her, tearing her free from her spot with all of Nemesis' might as this 'gust' was truly just a vacuum. Her blade was being spun enough that a vortex of wind formed above her head, sucking in everything from loose shrubbery to every bit of flame from the shock wave, letting it change this small tornado into one of flames. Unless Ritsuko had a way to challenge her sheer strength, her body would be flown towards her as Nemesis went to strike almost instantly once she entered her range.

Using Whirling Vortex meant she could yank objects, people, and even ranged abilities towards her, and if something living came into her range, it allowed her to combo into another ability at a moment's notice. Eye of the Vortex, and it was being launched at full force towards the girl. The speed she moved at was blinding despite her build, t he force following the blade easily enough to tear through flesh and bone without an issue, but that wasn't her target. It was the spellbook that she sported, wanting to either cleave it in half, or hit it with the blunt side of her axe to knock it free from her grasp. The latter option was heavily preferred, but this attack had a second nature. To see if she was resistant towards her own affinity.

With this strike being launched, all of the flames gathered in the vortex was left to violently slam down into Ritsuko's body, if she was even pulled at all. It still had all the same strength that she had launched it originally with, followed along with just a powerful blast of wind point-blank that would cause any normal person to stumble and falter.

And regarding the blinding light... Nemesis would take it if it was still used. Her eyes would be allowed to burn, her vision a giant blur, but for this ability, she didn't need to see. She just needed her to get close enough for the swing.

Ritsuko was confident that her fire would end the battle immediately but that wasn't the case, she could see the hulking brute's silhouette emerge from the fire with a few burns around her body. Surprisingly the woman was scarves by her fire attacks but at least she knows she ain't no weakling, she could feel the tremor the pressure she put into the ground to launch herself with tremendous speed. To combat this Ritsuko decided to flip through her spell-book as quickly as she could go find her blinding ability called "hikari" and since nemesis is heading straight towards her that'd mean the full ability would be at it's maximum potential.

However she completely miscalculated as Ritsuko turned around to see that nemesis grabbed the hilt of her axe and teared it from the tree it was stuck in, a large chunk of the wood could be seen grasped the blade of her axe tightly and ripped it free from the tree it was attached too.

Just what was she planning to do?

She watched as nemesis spun her weapon with immense speed until it resembled that of blades from a aircraft spinning rapidly..she could feel her body being dragged into the vortex that was nemesis weapon as well as the smoldering heat left from the shockwave wrap around the axe creating something similar to that of a fire tornado. Ritsuko couldn't get away, even if she could launch another fire attack it would be easily swept away by the strong winds the woman's weapon was exhibiting.

She had to think of something and fast... then she came up with an idea It may result in her getting injured but at least it was better than getting hit with a fire tornado, so she allowed herself to get closer to nemesis gathering energy from the sun to create a small blast of condensed energy from her sword and fired it at nemesis the explosion would be equivalent to a stick of dynamite exploding at your face.
"Augeos!"
Of course this would be a small explosion but being at such close range should do the job....right?

Fire, explosions, and probably a bunch of other spells that were extremely dangerous to use in a forest! At least Nemesis was able to get rid of the spreading flames issue, the tornado that sucked it all up was able to vanish, breeze strong enough to blow out the fire without her using a skill to keep it all together. She accomplished her main goal, getting rid of the immediate threat not only to herself, but the area around her, but the secondary goal seemed to have another issue, a hiccup in her plans. The girl was still a fighter, she had spells, she had spunk, and she was certainly proving herself to Nemesis, and what more could the demon ask for? Well, she could ask for a lot, but now was neither the time or place for that.

Her swipe at the woman's book would have been assured if Ritsuko had even gotten close enough to her, as the girl retaliated from a distance, letting an explosion of energy burst forth right in Nemesis' face. Normally, the berzerker could tank such a blow easily, but even she was subjected to being moved when hit be the unexpected, the blast forcing her to yelp out in pain, stumbling backwards as she reached up to cover her face, more specifically, her eyes, leaving Ritsuko free of her pull, and temporarily free from her gaze for a few good moments as the demon recovered from the shock, slowly lowering her head and glaring at the battlefield before her, face suffering burns along her cheeks and neck, as her eyes were bloodshot, though luckily not truly damaged thanks to her durability. It still made seeing a little hard, but the small smirk upon her lips showed she was still enjoying this.

"Bigger, stronger. More destructive. Your goal shouldn't be to stun me just to escape, but to incapacitate me so that you have no more fears of being chased, or even going as far as to execute."

Nemesis may had disagreed with what Ritsuko did purely in terms of destructive force, but the girl was able to avoid getting truly harmed, and accomplished her goal of stunning Nemesis long enough for her to perform a quick action of her choosing, to further press her chance and take a shot at her.

Yes it worked! ritsuko shouted in her mind as she heard the groans of nemesis and her iron grip loosening allowing for ritsuko to use this opportunity to gain some distance before initiating another attack.


But she remained silent as nemesis face as her head was lowered before seeing the distinct burn marks on her neck and face, her eyes almost bloodshot red but what surprised her was not only the effectives of her attack but the little smirk on nemesis face. It was just the reaction she needed to boost up her confidence, Ritsuko was glad that nemesis was at least enjoying the fight and not being a sore loser despite the burn damages and the bloodshot eyes she was still ready to go.

Ritsuko listened as nemesis wanted an attack that had more "kick" and power. And once again Nemesis was right, you can't end a fight without making sure the enemy is beaten into submission rather then using the opportunity like she has now to run away, she'd probably come back for revenge if she left. So ritsuko did as she ordered and decided to amp up attack in terms of not only destructive capability but also effectiveness.

I'll give you an explosion all right!" Ritsuko voice changed to absolute vigor and excitement she has never been pushed this far since her encounter with Kai and this was her moment to strike.

Without hesitation Ritsuko immediately took the tip of her sword, and focused a large portion of fire to it. She then stabbed the sword into the ground allowing the energy with in the fire to expand into a large circle being 5 meters in diameter or 15 feet. This circle will also increase the power of her solar abilities by 2x. the once red/yellow barrage of molten fire began to intensify with great force and power becoming more ferocious and if nemesis could still see it almost turned blue.


Molten Barrage!" This ability is similar to that of a regular fireball however it does twice the damage and can be condensed to either smaller or larger ones similar to that of a meteor shower. The major downside however is that it's really draining and can shorten the length of her solar form.

With that a barrage of fire would be striking at nemesis, these fireballs would do extreme damage if they successfully hit

The barrage of fire balls began heading towards her but what made ritsuko confused was that she expected her to at least retaliate or block the attackbut nemesis just stood there with her feet planted into the ground beneath and welcoming her attack in open arms, she neither grunted nor screamed just took the barrages head on without a second thought.
Ritsuko began to sense her energy to make sure she was alright and in fact she was right...however something felt odd the energy wasn't normally in fact it felt as if something was inside of her fueling her power once more but what was it?

The sudden crack of bone could be heard from the plume of smoke as she saw nemesis walking towards her slowly placing the bone of her dislocated left arm back into place, the sheer sound made ritsuko wince a bit in response. Ritsuko's
eyes widened realizing the destructiveness of her abilities when being pushed to her absolute limit, she almost wanted to apologise for causing the clothing to almost completely burned off and her skin revealing tender muscle and flesh underneath, ritsuko was surprised that despite the barrage she had endured she still kept that smile.

But she continued walking until she stopped for a moment and started pulling her singed hair, seeing her tall stature take a deep breath as she just stood there on the ground with her legs crossed, perhaps she was finally ready to call it quits and congratulate Ritsuko for giving a good fight?

Whatever it was Ritsuko began feeling the effects of her form almost deteriorating her magic book began flickering her eyes slowly changing back to their usual blue, sweat beading down her face and her arms tensing up.

Regardless she began walking towards nemesis and sat on the ground intrigued as to what she had to say.
