Personality: Gene is a living showoff and ruffian. He is known for almost seeming hyperactive whenever he actually DOES get to doing something - otherwise he seems rather lazy and loves just snoring away entire days in the sun. He's also not above speaking his mind and using his mouth before turning on the brain, something that can get him into trouble very easily. He can also be seen fooling around quite a lot, and acting mature seems to go against his entire being at once.
Even moreso, Gene is a fully self-admitting pervert and wannabe ladykiller, and straight as a nail while being at it. His actual success with females can be summed up with 'nonexistant', obviously, although he'd never tell that to anyone. As a martial artist, Gene is up to any challenge infront of him - he'll gladly learn new things, but one should still not expect him to actually act in any serious manner, even while BEING serious. Challengers will quickly face his fists if they mean it, and he has no troubles with hitting women while fighting either.
And besides his ruffian exterior, Gene really has a heart of gold, and will go to the defense of those weaker than him, even if it puts him in mortal danger. Especially now with the God Hand, Gene thinks himself immortal and almost invincible, so he never backs down, no matter what happens.

Background/History: Gene is an orphan, or at least that is what is assumed about him, considering he was found as a small child in Karakura with no memories. He was taken in at an orphanage, and quickly became more lively, almost as if to make up for his missing early past. Even back then, the caretakers noticed how incredibly energetic and filled with positive emotions the boy was, even if he was a rough and tough child all around. He grew faster than a lot of his peers, and became stronger than most of them.
During his school time, he quickly fell in with the 'wrong' crowd - or so it seemed. He was actually busy taking out the wrong crowds around Karakura High and thus became known as a deliquent himself, one who couldn't keep up with his studies at all. Needless to say, he failed highschool and was thrown out without any kind of degree.
Getting by with small side-jobs, Gene became a labor worker and at times even underground boxing fighter to earn the money to keep his shabby apartment somewhat functional. Around the time where he turned 20, though, he took a dangerous delivery job through Karakura Forest - and would've been fine, if not for a twist of fate detailed in his Ziamichi History.
Now, as a Ziamichi and holder of the God Hand, the smalltime boxer Gene Belrom aspires to become a real martial artist - and have a blast while doing so!

Ziamichi Spirit Name: Gades

Ziamichi Spirit Appearance: Gene Belrom [APPROVED, 2-4] Gades

Ziamichi Personality: The spirit is called Gades. Being a true warrior demon, he desires nothing short of a good fight. He pushes his host to become a true fighter and warrior, to the point of loving battle more than anything. He believes that the weak should be crushed and the strong only survive, an ideal that clashes with his host and causes interference in their power synch. Generally speaking though, Gades does not care for the wars of any time, and will grant his host power so that they both shall survive.

Ziamichi History: Gades is an old demon. How old exactly is not known, but he has the title 'Sinistral', signifying he once held importance. He was a bane to human lands in times long past, long before the A.D. years were counted, during the beginning of civilization. He was constantly searching for a warrior able to best him, but never found fullfillment in his search.
His travels and waves of destruction only ended when he met a lone buddhist monk. Using a strange martial art, the 'God Hand Style', he beat Gades without using any weapon - after three days of constant battling, that is. As punishment for his sins, the monk sealed away the demon inside of his own arms, making them the first known 'God Hand' and 'Devil Hand'.
As time went on and his host started t0 age, the seal on Gades was strengthened once more - and he was transfered to the next heir of the martial art. Thus, Gades became the secret weapon of a clan. Should the seal ever be broken, he'd be free to roam once more, but that would never happen. A great disaster befell the clan one day - the heir died and was mutilated, only his right arm could be salvaged. The left 'Devil Hand' was lost, and with it, half of the strength Gades once had.
After the clan had been lost, the remaining arm was sealed inside of a coffin for hundreds of years. The few survivors were not a clan anymore, but only a family of martial artists, never to return to their former glory.
One year prior to the current time, though, Gades would once more find a new host.

When a young vigilant man called Gene rescued the last heir of the whole family by letting him escape from a group of hollows and demons, he was brutally beaten down and left for dead, and even more, to give him a reminder, they cut off his right arm with a clean swipe.
As compensation for being saved, the old man gave the God Hand, and with it, Gades, to the young man. Now, Gades could be called the calm and more warrior-like side of the two.

Ziamichi Powers: Gades' power is simple - pure destruction. His powers is on the levels of where he only needs to touch solid steel with his sword to make it crumble, and his signature move, destructo wave, can whipe out a whole platoon of units. The only problem with it: He can never escape the seal on the arms of Genes bloodline, meaning that his powers can't be used anymore. He once was a strong demon knight, though. Genes powers all steem from 'destruction' thanks to it.

Unique Traits: Gene has inhuman endurance for one thing. Blows that would cripple any normal person, he is able to take and stand back up. He can even stand back up after falling unconcious sometimes in extreme situations. Furthermore, even while not using his Ziamichi-ability actively, his body is stronger than a normal humans, but not on the levels of supernatural beings quite yet. He lacks the training for that.

Forms: Gene only has one form in total. The bracelet on his right arm blocks off his Ziamichi-power as to keep his body and those around him safe as an old tradition of his clan - without it, his power becomes active, the so-called 'God Hand'. Needless to say, removing the bracelet is done in a more dramatical pose than it should be done in.
Without the bracelet, Genes physical power is greatly enhanced, but it still scales with his experience and power-levels, meaning that the form will grow stronger only if he as a human and person grows. His right hand holds the most of said power. He usually stores energy in it or does rapid punches, either way, he can create shockwaves and slight cracks to huge gaps in the ground and walls by punching, depending on his power-levels. He can fire a short-ranged energy-burst not unlike to a Cero or mid-level Kidō that scales with his overall tier.
With the spiritual energy of it, he can also perform short sprints through thin air, or float, not unlike a Shinigami. His ability to move in the air is questionable at best, though, and he is clearly not an airbone fighter. By boosting his legs, he is a bit faster in this form than normally.

Drawbacks: Since using God Hand enhances every physical aspect of his body, using it costs Gene a lot of energy. The strain put on his body can make moving around afterwards quite painful, and he needs to eat and maybe even sleep alot to regain the lost energy. Since his control over God Hand is not perfect at all, without his bracelet on, he can sometimes accidentally break things he only intends to touch.

[center]Natural Abilities

Adept: Gene lacks any innate spiritual abilities or talents only for a certain type of fighting. He is an 'adept' - a jack of all trades who can potentially pick up knowledge from everything, but never master anything besides what he develops himself. He can thus be called both the best and worst student for everyone.

God Hand Student: Oddly enough, this is also the name of Genes fighting style. He is still a novice in it since he only picked up an actual battle style one year ago. Unlike normally, this is a style he has talent for - because it is the very basis of an Adept, a fighting style that combines the full use of the fists and legs to unleash a flurry of moves, leaving one arm unused and rested, before dealing a crippling extreme blow.
Seeing as there are no known living masters of this technique, it's up to Gene to rediscover this fighting style. He is currently on the levels of a black belt at best.
