The Mad Hatter's Day at the Park Empty The Mad Hatter's Day at the Park

What a truly Mad place this was, people so crazy over the silliest things. He licked his lollipop while keeping his grasp upon his hat, he grinned a bit widely. He dressed fantastically, though most people were far to bland and willing to go with fads and things like that. Standing out in a crowd, was all part of being a snappy dresser. The Hatter could only muse at what to do next, talking to himself a bit. "Gee, Chess, these people are so nutty they are all wandering around here like this place is amusing. Hehee, Wonderland is so much better, isn't that right Alice?" -He laughed a bit, before someone walked by staring, he gave a smirk. "Yes candies, something I can do for you. " He tapped his cane on the ground with a twisted smirk on his face, so what was the point of coming to this place he wondered, such terrible dressers at that. He walked around them, before bending in a way that left him leaning on his cane.

Such foolish people, he walked away now. Such boring candies, they had no idea of where Alice and Chess were, they were utterly pointless. Like a child gets bored with a toy, he simply turned his nose to it and walked away. This place was of no further amusement to him, someone on the other hand had taken offense a to remark. A husband who was, well otherwise easy to deal with. The man rushed at the Hatter, such a foolish boy. He simply stepped to the right, though didn't offer him acknowledge meant. "Hm, Alice where are you..I must know why a Raven is like a Writing desk, you are so hard to find my sweet Alice." The man swung a right hook, though met a metal cane. The Hatter still some oblivious to him, he shook his hand out. Punching iron pry didn't feel so great against a knuckle. "AH! that's it..maybe if I go higher I can find dearest Alice, her and her muchiness is around here for certain." in this act, he'd put his cane at an angle, where the man had run head first into the end. The cane didn't so much as wiggle, the Hatter walked away not really noticing it.

The day was young and the sun was high yet, this day had yet to be finished.

This was far beyond anything Fantasia could have expected.

Usually when she looked up, there was a lovely blue sky to look forward to; however in this monumental metropolis known as Karakura Central, she instead saw imposing towers that dare to scrape the skies, and vehicles that wisped through the air like they were riding on the wind. From horizon to horizon she could not see the end of this interurban wonderland, and to think her rural home was something she figured was brag-worthy... the scale of architecture contained in this place was phenomenal beyond comparison, and Fantasia was still raving over it inside her head. Just one of the attractions of the city was Fuma Park, over ten thousand acres of beautiful gardens and playgrounds for the children. Not to mention the shimmering lake that resided as a focal point for the colossal estate. By the shore is where Fantasia relaxed in a solace, able to stare at the rippled reflection of the sun upon its watery surface.

She was a wheat blonde haired teen with a lean form that was deceptively thin, though such details could go undermined by the loose plain black cloak that she wore around her body, letting it lie flush upon the ground around her while she sat. Her over-sized blade was simultaneously strapped to her back as it was embedded into the ground, given that is was much to large for her to sit down with it otherwise—albeit it served as something to lean against. She had her knees tucked up in front of her while her arms wrapped around them slackly. Her chin rested on her knees, allowing her face to poke over them to watch the elegant view from her location with those misty gray eyes. Her face, until now nondescript, was a reflection of her lanky body and speaking of brevity across most of her features. Now coming to a full circle and paying attention to the girl's hairstyle, today she had chosen to tie it up into a taut pony tail that flowed down to her neck with grace. It was only a day ago that she had cut her hair to this shortened length, but she knew it would only be a matter of a week before it was long yet again.

"A beautiful day," she whispered to herself as she released her legs to wistfully entangle her fingers within the long blades of grass around her; lively evergreen grass, Fantasia would not be able to imagine this place any less green than it was. But perhaps there would be spots of red across the lake, as her eyes took in the sight of a small brawl over there. Exact details of the event were scarce from this distant vantage, but it was at the very least clear who was winning; an oddly dressed man who moved with speed and grace, as opposed to the bulky one who was throwing the haymakers. It felt almost like a scab amongst the sublime Fuma Park, but it didn't look like anymore more than a petty scuffle. No need for her to intervene, she huffed out a breathe and returned to relaxation.

Mad Hatter stopped running off he was fast and graceful, something most people did underestimate. He felt eyes on him somewhere, where was the darling candy watching him. He tapped his cane's tip on his chin thinking as he glanced around, before locating the female who'd been observing him. Was it Alice by chance, he smiled a bit talking to himself. "That could be Alice, in all her muchiness that's been so missed. Oh yeah, do you know why a Raven is like a writing desk?" The rubbed his jaw and got up again, this time with friends. Hatter wasn't really feeling up to fighting people. He didn't need this, he could run away now if need be. But then he'd lose sight of this girl who could be Alice. Choices, were such a terrible thing, he leaned on his cane his grin shrinking a bit. But it didn't fade, this wasn't gonna be hard three on one were easy. First came mister muscles, he threw another hay maker. "..Candy shouldn't fight so much, it's not good for your health you know..tea and cake is far better."

His hat moved no where, as he flipped the larger male, with his own eight sending him into the next one. The last one rushed forward, but the Hatter stuck his cane out against his throat. "That's enough, Alice is waiting for me..Besides to live in Wonderland one must be Mad as a Hatter, which as luck would have it I am." He laughed a bit before pushing the man backwards, sending him into the recovered two. He'd not so much as once used a fist on them, or fought them seriously. The flipping over of the one male was more gravity taking it's time on him. The Hatter grinned, he had an idea. "So, why don't I show you a little trick of mine..." He bowed and made a show of it, he vanished in an instant. Touching a tree with his right hand, the tree completely vanished. He stood behind the large object, he wondered how funny this would look. He pulled out a cup of tea, he'd seemed to be sipping it happily. "Over here..candies."

They reacted exactly how thought, all though all three of them ran full speed swinging. They pull alot of weight into it, sadly the first one slammed into the front of the tree another took a branch to the throat and slammed to his back, people were so predictable. The other had well taken a rather painful looking shot to the mommy and daddy button. He gave a gracious bow, before walking away. "Thank you for the sport candies, I simply must find Alice, time is getting away from me."

Nothing really mattered now, the Hatter vanished using his cane to raise his hat up. He grinned, looking down at the female. "Ello Alice, can you tell me why a Raven is like a writing desk?" He looked the girl over, smiling before setting his cane's end on the ground. Resting both hands on it calmly, he seemed to be very fast with the amount of ground traveled by him. Hopefully his search for Alice was coming to it's final close, his red eyes observed her for a moment now.

The Mad Hatter's Day at the Park Empty Re: The Mad Hatter's Day at the Park

A gust of wind whipped Fantasia's pony tail around along with the few loose strands of hair that weren't wrapped up in her hairband. This was followed by the widening of her cinereal eyes, as a shuddersome young man warped into view before her. A gasp later, and she was forced to gulp in the rest of this mystery man's appearance considering he blocked her view of the grand lake. Granted she was seated on the ground, his clothing became apparent first: A lavender short-sleeved tunic with a high top Jabot collar of a darker shade. A wide white stripe ran down the top, and then split at the waist line into two separate flaps. There was a snow white jacket she wore over this, but he chose to leave the buttons undone in a way that almost made it look like a cape.. Below the waist he wore simple black polyester pants that ended just below his knees, so that his snappy alabaster boots were clearly visible. Then when Fantasia finally dared crane her neck up a tad, she came face-to-face with an ominous smile and a twinkling crimson eye—the rest was hidden away by silver locks and an ostentatious top hat with a red ribbon tied around it.

Assaulted by the dozens of shards of her mind and overall incapable of decided what to say at his arrival, he beat her to the punch with a question that made no sense to her. She realized she had tensed up at the man's arrival, and quickly resolved to allow her shoulders to slump back down to their original positions. Really, what to say at this moment in time, in riposte to the embodiment of confusion standing in front of her? She settled with "Uhh... We really think you have the wrong person, sir. No Alice here, just we. And we couldn't know the answer to your question." And finishing with an adequate addressal, she thrust herself up to her feet, uprooting a sprinkle of grass and dirt as her sword rescinded from the ground with a metal note. She caught the flaps of her cloak and pulled them around her body to hide anything below the neck from view. "Now if you'll excuse us..." she trailed off as she turned away and began heading off toward one of the trails through the park. Though chances were she wasn't going to get away that easy.

Strange...

He brought his cane up and resting it on his shoulder for now, looking at the female waiting for her answer. We, she did say we. Such a very curious answer to a question, he pondered for a moment. "We are not Alice, so who are we asks the Mad Hatter?" He held on to his top hat carefully, the breeze was rather nice from here. The Hatter, pulled the hat off his head now to feel the wind through his locks. Her answer would decide much, mainly what was coming next. Though he waited for it, he had to wonder in all the madness that was. Where was this place, Alice had lead him here yes she had. But since he last saw her, the female had been more muchier last time he saw her. Though he'd not faced the Jabberwock at that time within his families home, much had changed since and before then. He brought his top hat back to his head and spoke. "Oh dear me, late for tea with Cheshire and Alice again. My, my such appointments to keep and such little time to do it." He said softly while looking down at a silver pocket watch.

The Hatter thought for a moment, glancing at the girl. She indeed wasn't the brave Alice who fought the Red Queen with him, he pondered this now. She'd lost her muchness within her heart. No this wasn't the girl he knew, not in the slightest bit. Unless she gave a name, she would simply be candy. Till he figured one suitable for her, though We-chan was starting to look very possible for him to use as her identity. Ah well no truest of truest moments to be had here, he decided it was pry time to depart. Though something would stop him, he sensed a Jabberwock in the area. His lips formed a grin, he had no more tea to sip. "The Jabberwock, with eyes aflame, Jaws that bait and claws that catch, Beware the Jabberwock, my dear..For it's coming to say hello, hehee." It should be noted that the Hatter's idea of a hollow is known as a Jabberwock. The creature's white mask covered it's face, red eyes glared at him.

The creature was certainly spiteful, the girl's answer was clear to him at this point. She wasn't his Alice, not the dearest and sweet Alice he shared sweets and tea with. She was far more then this girl had proven to be. The creature stood at the very least a 6 feet tall, the closest one could measure it. The Hollow's frame was somewhat human like, except the fact. It appeared to be more similar to a dogs head, the body was gray, with crimson lines across it's chest. It gave off such a weak energy, that it couldn't compare to much. The Hatter's grin simply widened, his eyes hidden by the tip of that lovely top hat. It's hands were claws simply, three digits. Here it came charging the two finally, the creature had entered the area, rather oddly. Perhaps it had come for the Hatter, who couldn't help but smirk. How much he would like to hat the creature. Though this normally meant, the Hatter planned a funeral.

Even as Fantasia had spun around and excused herself from the hatted stranger, his incomprehensible babble continued to spew from his mouth. It couldn't be blamed upon the man though, given the mad man never suspected that he might indeed be mad himself. Nor could it be expected of the city to snatch up every crazy off the streets and put them into a nice and comfortable asylum. There were tens of millions of residents in the city, so the chances were that a few escaped their eyes. Plus, consider the world and its nesting places for souls and demons and all sorts of mysterious creatures; it was a crazy place. There was a credible argument among all this. If this was a mad world, which ones belonged in the asylums? Fantasia's thoughts would begin to stray like this, as she removed herself from the premise. And still the man behind her chattered on about something. She would make out strange words like 'Cheshire' and 'Jabberwock' that made no sense to her whatsoever.

And then the screams broke out of the blue. There was a dull consistent thudding in the air like the sound of a heavy man charging. It was only common sense that when something came around with the look of a demon, that the innocent and powerless masses would scatter in all manners of fright. Fantasia was easily brought out of her thoughts by the sudden clamor around her, and it was then that she too noticed it. Dozens of frames flashed through her mind in the span of a second, all discolored snapshots of her past; all of them views of the gigantic beasts known as Hollows. As the final memory passed, her gray eyes snapped out of the shock and into focus, seeing the demon she had come to hate more than anything on the face of this planet. Once a composed and reserved female whose dealings today comprised of relaxing at the park, now she was a mess, her feelings of hatred opaque, her expression of sheer rage. What malice.

Whereas the hatted stranger smirked and figured this something of a workout, Fantasia brandished her Claymore before her and shifted into a battle stance. The situation regarding her was much more personal, and Fantasia's goal in life was to see every Hollow wiped out of existence. And this time... this time the Hollow would not get away. There would be death to occur, came her forethought. As her grip on the Edge of the Legion tightened, and she waited to deal her first blow at the right time.

His Grin didn't falter, he spoke now as calmly as this Mad Hatter would. His digits slowly pulled the blade from it's sheath, the cane sword was drawn. "Oh ho, I think we should hat this one and send him to the next realm..with a nice tea party." The Hatter laughed as though he found this creature be less then worthy of even being acknowledged. It was a strong monster, while this was the case it didn't take him much power to do these little things. The Hatter decided a more docile role would suit him, he flicked a Jack of Hearts at the face of the hollow's forehead. It traveled with a great deal of velocity. The card's back was black, as the object appeared to be old. It exploded with a loud BANG! That was the beginning, the Hollow charged picking up random objects and throwing them. For example a tree had been chucked at the figure of the female with the claymore. His own sword as rather regular, the hilt was nicely designed and gave him a fine grip. The Hatter waited calmly to see what the beast did next, dodging the objects that were being thrown.

It was trash cans, tree's, and that was basically the movement. Before the creature finally it shot forward coming out the figures of both of them, the Hatter waited and watched he hadn't done much damage with his exploding card, it only seemed annoyed by it. The Hatter's grin only grew, he was pondering of course what type of hat this creature would be suited for. It would take only a moment to get here, depending on if the girl rushed to it. It wasn't very fast, surprisingly.

The Mad Hatter's Day at the Park Empty Re: The Mad Hatter's Day at the Park

Fantasia watched the Hollow intently, patches of red inching around the edges of her eyes as the rage welled up inside her. The emotion churned her insides, heating them up with an unknown force. There were words spoken by the madman who now stood as her ally against this foe, but these words fell jumbled upon Fantasia's ears. She could not make out anything he said. In a fashion that would make it appear as if she simply ignored him, she would begin to creep forward toward her prey as the Hollow began tearing up the park infrastructure. Trash cans that were bolted to the ground were torn up with ease, as were park benches and light posts; a mindless beast that only knew destruction. But then came the loud bang as a torrent of smoke and fire discharged from the Hollow's mask, sending it stumbling back and letting out a grotesque excuse of a groan, which was truly saying something. Aside of that, though, it looked more or less unscathed by whatever that had been, and would now center its vacant gaze upon Fantasia and the Hatter. There were thousands of souls here in Fuma Park, but nothing quite as exquisite as these two here.

All those objects that were torn of the ground now became ammunition for the Hollow, as it began picking the items up to begin chucking at the two. However the hatted stranger dealt with them was his problem; Fantasia would push through them like it was nothing more than a distraction. As the first canister was catapulted at her, spraying its contents all through the air as it spun haphazardly, Fantasia would bring her Claymore down low and back in preparation. Then at the precise moment, the silver blade slashed through the projectile with a ringing note. The two fragments parted and crashed to the ground on either side of the blonde before tumbling down the beach with a trail of litter. Following that was a pole that was sent spinning at her, and she would deal with it much the same way. She brought her weapon down through it with zero difficulty, and sent the two halves spiraling uselessly off in aimless directions. At one point the Hollow would realize the small stuff wasn't working, as it lumbered over to a nearby Oak tree and wrapped its arms around the trunk. With dumbfounding strength, the Oak was ripped from its roots and held up sheerly by the creature's strength, before it too was sent hurtling forth.

The massive obstruction flew right through the area Fantasia had stood seconds ago, but Fantasia rather would next be seen somersaulting in the air far above it. Her speed had shown itself here, as she came flying down toward the Hollow's masked head, with sword arcing down for a ruthless strike. Like a guillotine, the blade crashed onto the demon with a resounding crack, buckling its entire body under the force of the attack. As Fantasia's sword bounced off the enemy and she disengaged a few steps back, a sizable crack became apparent on the tip of the Hollow's head, doing more than simply annoying this demon. There was a moment of silence from it as it reached up to touch its arid injury, but this quickly ended as it released a hideous roar that over-powered the screaming mobs in the background of this skirmish. It shot forward with great speed, clawing at Fantasia as fast as it could possibly execute itself, but the girl was much faster as she skipped several meters back. The Hollow's claw smashed into the ground, creating a crater and sending a plume of grass and dirt into the air around it.

Now as the stomachless being bellowed at the two combatants, it was the Hatter's turn.

What a nasty little beastie this had turned out to be, the Hatter watched in amusement as Alice-We did her thing, she was so very graceful, much like an evening bird. The Hatter drew his sword slowly, it was time to fight for a more realistic intent. His eyes didn't lose the madness within, he tipped the rim of his hat. The creature was getting ready for a charge, the Hatter spoke a muttering. "I'll hate you, so Chess can see how sharp you look." The Hatter shot forward, bringing down his sword with a Swoshap! the sound of the creature's body being cut in half with some resistance, the sound was something he smirked about for a moment. "So falls the Jabberwock, with it's eyes aflame. Teeth that bait and catch, so goes the creature. " He tipped his hat too her, before walking away his cane returned to it's regular frame, the wood was Oak, no it was redwood. Who blast it he didn't know, perhaps Chess or Alice did. The Mad Hatter staggered off, walking away the creature's violent nature about throwing things was such a mess. He wasn't supposed to take care of problems like that, the female's sword skills and fighting style had been impressive.

Had she been wielding a Zanpakutō, she would of pry slain this being with little trouble.

To watch how calm this "Hatter" was acting was something Fantasia could not quite comprehend, especially as her mind became clouded with rage at the mere presence of this creature. She knew, even if she had to sacrifice herself she would not allow this monster to take a single soul more—his existence would come to an end before then. And yet he was simply displaying a cocksure smile and sense of control. As she glanced his way to see what he was going to do, since apparently he was combat-capable, she caught the glimmer of silver as he began to pull out a sword that she hadn't noticed before. At first she thought him mad as she had gathered from her first impression, until he shot forward with such speed that she found herself staring at empty air for a while. Her mind was lagging behind, just barely jerking in the correct direction before it happened: Ringing metal sliced through the entire form of the Hollow and split it right down the middle. The two halves would fall apart as blood jetted out of the massive laceration, and then it would all begin to fizzle out of view as though the creature had never been there.

Fantasia stood there with her jaw dropped, eyes unblinking upon what she had just witnessed. The man with the hat would turn away not even to observe the end result of his actions, and would simply tip his headwear as though it was simply just a show he put on. The sword he possessed transformed into the cane that she had seen, making her realize where the weapon had come from now. And lastly, he strode away without a word more. Fantasia kept still, letting her stance loosen and her sword's tip to fall on the ground lackadaisically. She did not follow the man, to pester him or ask him his name. She did not follow him to figure out what had just happened and how he did what he did. She simply allowed it to be what it was, and pass by her. The female was only fifteen years old, and she determined that there were just some certain things in this universe that she was not meant to understand yet. Maybe later in life the Hatter's madness would become clear to her, so she let it be. In one fluid swing her sword clicked into place within the scabbard on her back, and pulled the flaps of her cloak back around her to hide her body. She turned the opposite direction as the crazy man, and began making her way home. She'd had enough relaxation for the day.
