This place. The dark corridors of the palace reaked of evil and despair. It was the perfect place to hide one of the Queens of shadowfall especially with how well it was protected. Everyone knew that you cannot mess with Queen mana and expect to live through it. That is why this place was so scary. Just looking at the palace would make even the strongest of people fear for their lives. It is that kind of power that can be used to control the world if you could control it. Shame the girls that were trying to do exactly that were falling apart just trying to walk that path.

one such girl wanted to meet with the other. It was for more than one reason but you wouldn't expect her to come along with anything but a proposal. This girl was Ashlei clixx and she could easily access Mana's quarters with little effort. the girls were like sisters after all. What's yours is mine. Isn't that what they used to say. Ashlei chose to not go through all of the security that had been set up mainly because she did not want anyone to know she was even here. If the world was aware that Ashlei was still alive, her entire plan would fall apart like soggy paper.

A black portal tore open the fabric of space to allow Ashlei access to this building. The way that Ashlei was able to pinpoint locations to use her Gargantua to was impeccable especially for an ability that was never designed to do more than grant access between worlds. Ashlei used it for much more than that purpose. The Bloody Queen stepped out of her portal and fluttered down to the floor, landing gracefully. What she had made certain of, was that nobody was in this corridor before entering it. None had seen her yet but if there were any cameras or something of the like, they would probably notice that she had arrived by now.

She had to act quick. The girl walked slowly down the corridors, keeping to the shadows and blocking all reitsu signatures from her body. She climbed each staircase, slipped through each door and passed every person without drawing any immediate attention. She then approached the chambers that belong to mana and pushed the door open, wandering in quickly and pushing the door closed behind her. She turned, looked around the room and waited for someone to notice she was here.

Artist: Crystal Castles - Song: Not In Love - Word Count: 1700
Deep within the Chamber's of the Demon Queen palace, all had been rather silent; as if there weren't a soul in this endless dwelling. Yet, one would be entirely wrong to believe these sentiments. For to venture into the depths of The Royal Demon's lair, embark into her area of slumber and to seek the desire of the Demon Queen...heh...something like that wouldn't go unnoticed at all. Step by step, breath by breath and echo by echo; the detection of a certain Hollow Queen had already been felt before she even knew what would hit her. After all, when you resemble the likes of a nocturnal bat, you tend to pick up on a few of their senses here and there. Namely the keen sense of echolocation and hearing. "Hohohoh, who might this ghost of the past be entering my domain?" Then, as if on cue, these words would pierce the likes of Ashlei Clixx like daggers as she opened the doors into the nest which was Queen Mana's own special room. From upon the ceiling of this room, the infamous Demoness known as Mana Asthavon could be heard.

If The Regale Mischevang had happened to look upwards at the ceiling once more, she shades of shadow's could be seen swiftly disappearing; briefly being able to catch a glimpse of The Demon Queen's emerald green eyes emitting within the dense darkness of her abode. After the blackness had dissipated, The Majesty herself was seen warped ever so neatly in what appeared to be charcoal in their color. Dark circles easily being seen from her eyes, it was obvious to tell that The Queen had been resting prior to Ashlei's little intrusion into her palace. Still, she didn't give any visible signs of being distressed in the least. In fact, a rather...ominous smirk loomed across her lips. Staying very keen to her recent accusations of obtaining phenomenal speed within the past year, before Ashlei could even have a chance to blink in the light of those words exiting from Mana's mouth, one would assume the word had morphed; for in the darkness of the night, The Demoness of The Shadow's moves like no other.

Standing roughly two feet above The Blood MIstress herself, the details of The Royal Asthavon's own appearance were able to be more easily made out. Usually the sides of her hair had been noted to be quite wavy; as she stood before Ashlei, this was not the case to be found. Having all of her shoulder length, coal colored hair dangle downward due to her still very much hanging from the ceiling; this was a rather different image to be had for Mana. A more...casual exterior as she swiftly released her wings to unveil more of her attire. Wearing only a very long fitted nightgown that extended all the way down to her ankles, it was rather bizarre to see The Queen not wearing more of her well known gothic wardrobe. Not even the usual pair of onyx hued gauntlets were to be seen across Mana's hands at this time. Truly, the slumber of The Demoness had been disturbed by this most unexpected visitor at this strange hour in the day.

"Helllloooo~ Ashlei!" To start things off with a hooray, despite her weary state of mind, Mana gave off the impression she was still very much within her usual tone of self. "Preparations in Demon World and Earth are moving along quite nicely with the accommodations I've made during your absence...." Blackened visuals of Mana's conquest within the colossal battle for Malaysia first started to emerge behind her. Then, following that, imagery of the expansions being produced in America were shown to display the growth being developed in that nation while under Shadow Fall's influence. In fact, in terms of it's standing in the world, some may call it an even greater force than it was prior to The Queen's seizure of it. But, more than just that, more and more screens within the darkness that swirled all around them began to emerge. Popping up like static screens that eventually transitioned into crisp, clear, smooth imagery.

Various screens showcased the lost of The King Of Demon's and The Left Throne known as Abaddon. As words came across the tube, without a single trace of him to be found, most assumed he was KIA, MIA or just plain AWOL. In either case, for a time being, Mana was....all alone. Soon, Imagery of Mana's own adventures over the past few months started coming into view. Visions of her struggle to maintain control over her Madness and Chaotic elements that drove her to the brink of insanity; constant nights of trying to deep these dark desires from obliterating everything there is without mercy in the sake of discord.

Transitioning from that, it seems these were spinning all about in a quick blur. For the next series of visuals displayed the tense kiss between Asmo and Mana within the deepest pits of hell as a bright red explosion covered the screen. Proceeding after that, it then shifted to the final collision between the likes of her and Hanako within the center of the Capital which was Maylasia; showcasing The Bounty Hunters own spiral into madness as her powers go out of control in Karakura Central.

If Ashlei were to pay attention at this point, brief flashes of The Bloody Queen's own encounters within the pits of Underground Karakura may have been noticed by her sharped instincts. Regardless of that fact, this display would go on without hesitation. Encounters between her and Micheal Capolitare were shown; imagery of their training within the outlands of Demon World being shown, his entrance into her scared castle within Demon World and the eventual turning of him into a Royal Asthavon. As the imagery became more distorted in nature, the last bits of display to be shown was the immense battle between The Demon Queen and The Mad One known as Eric Zarathos in Demon World as well. Taking a soft cackle, a weird sigh and shaking her head; Mana got real close to Ashlei.

"...and the motions within myself are churning as well. Throughout this time, in your absence and in my isolation; I've morphed into something that I'm beginning to lose sight of as each day passes by. Mutating rapidly towards my true chaotic origins." Eyes seeming to tilt to the back of her head while speaking, she swiftly regained her composure before backing slowly away from The Hollow Queen's face. "So tell me, Ruler of Hollow, can you even begin to describe why you have left my side in all this time? I've adored you, I've loved and I've bestowed upon you things of which not even the highest of monarch's within this world could even dream of. To hurt me in such a way...was quite the experience to endure. Tasting the madness of my own solitude was a new perception of reality I had not felt in all of my wicked days."

Placing her hand upon Ashlei's cheek, she'd then stare intently into the eyes of what was her equal, her partner and sister whom she had such abnormal feelings for. Even at this very second, she wasn't quite sure where they were leading to with the sounds of lunacy raging within her heart, lust coursing through her veins and urges to protect pulsating inwards towards this woman....even if it meant doing actions she may not understand in the present. "Me, you and Clarie: all of us were the Sisters of Discord; were we not?" Gripping Ashlei's face tighter, more of these profound urges crippled Mana's body as the circles under her eyes grew more apparent while an increasingly fatigued expression came to view across The Demon Queen's face.

"Yet, as the sands of time ticked by, we've increasingly grown further and further apart. It's almost something akin to a horrid gag. That us, the ones who were suppose to tame the likes of anarchy, disarray and disorder...were slowly being crushed under the weight of it's all knowing and all powerful weight." To the point of almost drawing blood, Mana gripped on tightly to the face of Ashlei Clixx; exhaling cold mists of breathe from her mouth when she paused. "I don't want to see that happen to you. I've seen it occurring with Clarie, and I've seen it happening even within the confines of my own body: but I refuse to least this impure Earth claim you as well, sister...."

Breaking the silence within the room, the pitter-patter of gem-green blood shattered against the floor. With Mana's right bare hand being placed upon her right eyes, she could feel it for herself...were these...tears? It almost led Mana to chuckle grimly. The surges of unstable sensations occurring within her body were growing more forceful; leading to the point where The Royal Demoness hadn't a single clue as to what she felt at the moment. Was it happiness? Was it love? Was it a need to protect? Was it madness? Was it enlightenment? Was it sadness? Just what the hell was going on....that was a question which couldn't be answered. "...I would hate to see such a thing, I would be saddened by such an event and I'd surely be unsure as to what I'd do in this uncertain future. As the madness even bellows within my soul as we speak, I want you to feel no such thing from this world." Tilting her head to the side, she'd then embrace Ashlei in a hug and sigh.

"I want to respond to your respite that gave you the path to find your way into my heart again. I want that desolation to change....and I can feel it within yourself as well. Much like the organisms of this earth, we crave the fruits of our labor, joy and sorrow be reaped for us to indulge in as we see fit." Pausing, it was time to come to a closing point.

"In that point....let all us....unite once more....sister...and use this world as we see befitting. The love, the bond and connection between all of us is strong enough to allow such an occurrence to transpire, no?"

This room was way too damn dark. You couldn't even see the ceiling due to the lack of light. Then again, that was exactly how Mana liked it. She could hide up there and nobody would be able to see her. It was a bit scary to be honest. Like a spider that can swoop down at any moment and gobble you up. Ashlei would certainly be the fly in this situation. However, she did not fret and stood perfectly still, looking up towards her friend as she came down from her dark hiding spot.

"Good day to you sister"

Ashlei smiled cheerfully as she greeted Mana but she couldn't help but feel uncertain about it. This entire meeting was dangerous. Mana had clearly changed and could become very unpredictable. Even though Ashlei had been gone for so long, almost completely out of Shadowfall action for over half a year, the Blood witch has been keeping her eyes on everything. Manas actions had not gone unnoticed, but what the girl showed Ashlei was a more visual representation of the events Ashlei had seen. Mana had done a lot in her absence. The loss of two thrones had pushed her further than expected. This would prove useful for the days to come.

"I'm glad to see you're still in one piece after all of your recent endeavours"

Ashlei looked around her as she was greeted by several magical screens that displayed Manas recent actions. They were certainly interesting and gave a different view on Ashleis current knowledge, but nothing surprising appeared on screen. Madness was obviously taking over, that was for certain. However something did spark her interest. In fact, she laughed lightly about it as she saw one screen actually had Ashlei on it. Ceon was there. Magnolia was there and a girl called Shani. The footage showed everything, even the bits where Ashlei moved aside to hide. However what it showed which was most unnerving, was the fact that Ashlei stood silently in the room after Ceon had left. The girls hollow eyes skimmed over the broadcast, taking in every single detail she could from where she was standing to make sure a certain 'something' went unnoticed. Luckily, it didn't seem like Ashlei was doing anything in the footage. Maybe that's a good thing.

After this episode of 'the life of mana' had ended, the Demon Queen started to get creepily close. Their faces were almost touching as she spoke her next few lines. Mana was fully aware that she was going mad. This actually made some things a little easier for her. If you're aware your losing grip on reality then you can at least try to fight against it. Ashlei wouldn't want her sister to fall apart completely right? It was the guilt trip mana sent Ashlei on that tugged at her heart a little. If you could say Ashlei still had a heart.

"You know better than anyone that I had no choice but to run. With the spot of insanity drilled into your skull, I had hoped you'd understand that I took myself out of the light to protect you, my family and the assets around us. When you lose control, you do things you will regret. What if I had stayed and lashed out at my sisters? Diablo? If I had proved hostile, you would have probably needed to kill me just to stop your own forces knocking down your door."

Ashlei looked away, slightly embarrassed by her lack of control. She shivered slightly and coughed, but brushed it off as she tried to continue talking.

"You're not the only one who has had to deal with solitude."

Mana rested her hand upon Ashleis cheek. It wasn't as soothing as you might expect. In fact, it would have been terrifying to anyone that wasn't as close to mana as Ashlei was. Bringing up claire at this stage though wasn't making anybody feel any better. Ashlei gritted her teeth at the name and looked away with her eyes. It was then that the demon clutched onto Ashleis face. Her nails were digging into her cheeks but it didn't hurt. Nothing hurts. It just proved to keep Ashlei facing on, not looking for a way to avoid eye contact. Ashlei wasn't really capable of speech with mana holding onto her face like this. The bloody queen reached out and held Manas arm, tugging to get her to let go of which she eventually did, but chose to embrace her in a hug. Finally, Ashlei could talk. She held up her arms and hugged her dark sister tight. The tears she was shedding became a grim sight for the girl. She looked better without them.

"Mana. I..."

Ashlei sighed, smiling to try and reassure Mana even in the slightest.

"Mana, you and mother have fallen down roads that one day I will inevitably follow too. It is destined to happen and I am willing to embrace that. However, I fear that day may never come.."

Ashlei leaned back and held Mana at arms length so she could get a good look at her. Her eye twitched a little but she brushed it off as nothing. Ashleis body wasn't exactly in the greatest physical condition. In fact, some might say she had fallen into a grinder and walked out the other side. The darkness had masked it but Ashleis clothes were torn and dirty. Her hair was patched with dirt and her face was bruised. There were cuts on her legs and her arm seemed to twitch every now and again whenever she tried to move it. It might even be broken.

"I haven't been myself in so long that I... I'm breaking apart. I thought my time away from this place would soothe my mind but it only served to hurt me more. I want to take my place here again but... I don't thi-"

As Ashlei tried to finish her sentence, her throat was caught off guard by a splash of blood that was violently coughed into the bloody queens hands. The girls hand dripped red, joining with the green blood tears that had splattered onto the floor before. Ashlei looked back up, showing that her own eyes were not only bloodshot, but dripping of red blood as well. Her words came out as a deathly stutter. The sound of a frail and frightened girl.

"Th-the time I fell into a coma. The seal on my...body all those years ago. These powers... my blood and my...my own sanity. It's all finally taking its t-toll. M-mana...."

Ashleis breathing was hard and her movements were slow. Her eyes were bleeding, mixing into slowly falling tears that rolled off her cheeks as she pleaded for help.

"I don't think I'm going to live m-much...longer.... please Ma-mana.... help me..."

Return, Reclaim, Rebuild Empty Re: Return, Reclaim, Rebuild

Sat Jul 27, 2013 11:28 pm

Artist: Elena Siegman - Song: The One - Word Count: 1670
The atmosphere within The Queen's palace was moving and escalating to a point that no one could have foreseen. Listening to some of the words that had exited from the likes of The Blood Queen's mouth, Mana was captivated to hear more and more of what she had to say. When conversing over matters of protection, had she perhaps lost sight of what that meant? Hearing her ramblings about Ashlei stating that The Demoness should have known her motives was rather...startling. In all this time, that notion had never seemed to occur in the mind of The Queen.

Why is that? It's was a rather simple matter. Even if Ashlei were to lose control of herself, even if she were to not remember Mana and even if she had killed manys before her; within Mana's heart, she knew that no matter what occurred...The Demon Queen would always be there to stop The Hollow Queen. Just as it did when they first arrived, just as it did when they encountered each other in London and just like it did when Mana reawakened Ashlei from her slumber before within the depths of Hueco Mundo itself. It did not matter where, it did not matter how; she'd figure out a way to make things oh so right.

"My darling, perhaps this hysteria brewing deep within my mind has blinded my sight from what it once was. But....I truly do believe that if circumstances were to ever escalate to that plateau...that I'd always be there to rescue you from that self." Mana's words spoke ever so softly as she closed her eyes to dry those orney tears from upon her face. At this time, The Demoness was now attempting to subdue the more volatile sides of her madness; coming to an external point as blue, gold, black and green sparks of electricity were emitted from her body. These sensations and pulsations gave off many sorts of different aura's originating inside of The Demon Queen.

There was of course presence of Mana's own overwhelming energy coursing within her veins with the utmost intensity in it's awakening, but there was another...darker...entity brewing within The Royal Asthavon. Something entirely different from Mana altogether. A force that was trying to escape, trying to roar and release itself upon the world to bring about the wrath of discordia. While, at the same time, another more hollier energy could vaguely be detected, but it felt like it was being drowned between the two cosmic forces inside of The Queen. Almost dying off, if it weren't for the fact it felt like it was battling against the overpowering titans.

"...and I know you've endured most of your own sorrow, my dear sister. We are The Sisters of Discord, after all. Chaos, Madness, Despair and Agony follow us like an unforgiving plague. You don't have to mention that much. Heh, I should have this fact better myself...." Opening her eyes once more to the sight of her beloved AshleI, a soft smile came into view across Mana's lips as she eased her facial expression to an extent. Really, it had been quite some time since the two had their own alone time.

To express their feelings for one another, to be true to one another and to not have the stress of the whole world crashing down upon their shoulders; suffocating them like a relentless stranglehold draining the very life force from each of the Regale Rulers of their twisted dark factions. Yet, all of these notions were quelled like a gentle lamb as the two sisters of the night embraced each other in a soft, warm and much needed hug. It was the sort of affection, the sort of love that made everything right with the world and made The Demoness realize that everything...somehow...was going to be all right in the end.

"Oh my dear sister, I'm so aware of that mangled path in which we all walk. It will lead us marching towards our demise and into the arms of sweet death itself. I've known it since I became Demon Queen and have taken this fact with great stride. You've reminded me of that all too well with what you've said" Rubbing her face against the likes of Ashlei's smooth skin before she had pulled away, something was beginning to slowly feel off with the body of her dear sister.

When The Blood Queen had peered those crimson eyes upon Mana, The Sinister Sister took a closer inspection of her cherished siblings, thanks in part to the enhanced vision she possessed while within the depths of the shadow's all around them. When this check was over, there was a disheartened expression seen across The Demon Queen's face. Seeing all of those cuts, all of those bruises and the battered and dirtied attire in which The Hollow Queen was wearing; this made it all too clear to her as day that something just wasn't right with this picture and The Demoness was going to get to the bottom of it.

But, before The Regale Demoness could begin to start that process of figuring out more about this mystery on their hands, Asheli already explained she was falling apart at the seams...and it made Mana hurt. It made her all torn up that The Blood Queen had to endure this same horrible progression of anguish she had suffered as well. But for her sake....for her sake...Mana would be strong. Even a wicked heart such as The Ruler of Demon's knew of willpower; withstanding thresholds of unforsaken pain for the wellbeing of another. If there was a will, there was a way The Royal Asthavon was going to save her beloved sister from all of this accursed tragedy...even if it's for but a sparring moment in time and space.

"Ye' may take your place along my side at any time you please. We all make fatal errors in this life of ours, so don't ye' be sorry for that." And, yet again, before Mana could go onward with what she had to say; the sight of Ashlei's crimson blood spewing all around them had taken her by a slight surprise. Compounding the fact in Mana's mind that there was something gravely wrong with her dear sister. Hearing her speak those terrified words, gazing upon that frightful expression and sensing the utter dread within The Blood Queen's heart; it was one of the few times in Mana's length existence that she felt a sense of disrupted horror.

The blood itself was not what had disturbed The Demoness; she's made entire oceans of that in the sea of corpses that have piled up in the name of The Royal Asthavon family. No. It was something much more than just that. The fact that someone she loved, someone she cared about and someone she wanted nothing but the best for in this world....was so utterly broken....just shook Mana's nerve; if only for a few moments. Although each of her own blood sisters and all those close to her do not hear it enough, Sweet Mana genuinely does share a sense and an urge deep within to care for them...and to not be able to do that was...demoralizing nearly. It would nearly haunt her if she wasn't attempting to be strong for her treasured sister.

"Y..ou....don't have to say anything, Ashlei. I'll do whatever I can to rise you from this despair myself...." Embracing Ashlei tighter than before, much like their reunion within the pits of The Kokuryuteshi, Mana tasted the blood from her dear sister as she cried such beautiful tears. This wasn't out of a demented pleasure like then, however. The desire to taste her sister, to devour her pain and engulf it away with her power was the driving force in this action. To consume this blood, was to consume the sorrow within Ashlei's heart and make it her own. "...I can taste the pain within your soul and I'll do what it takes to remove such ugly stains from your spirit. That is why I am here, as your Big Sister. It's what we always do for the younger ones in this life. Looking after them, guiding them and giving them our best intentions at heart." Rubbing Ashlei's hair ever-so softly, she placed her face upon her chest and simply embraced her within the darkness of it all.

"So it will be okay, do not make such faces. For as long as I am breathing on this Earth, I'll drag you back from the trenches of hell itself and bring you back to my loving arms; no matter what the cost." Closing her eyes, this all felt too right. Too finally have the chance to express her acknowledgements of Ashlei soothed the wavelengths within Mana's own soul; easing the tensions of her madness by the fact she needed to care for someone else's health and comfort. "Ashlei, you will not and CANNOT die here. I have a reaper's blood within myself and I can save you. Just give me more information about this seal and I'll do what I can to produce a new one to keep this decay at bay and make you stabilized." With that said, an emerald aura swirled around the two as The Queen was very true in her intentions. After all, with her being four centuries years old, you don't get to reach that age without dabbling in the demonic arts and gaining a well versed knowledge of the occult and it's dark ways.

"Just...say the word and I'll do what I can...." Finishing off any further dialogue at this point, those words pierced the darkness of this room and she would await to see what her dear sister's response to all of this would be. They were going to find a way out of all of this, they would live to see another happy day and this will be but another trying test within the game of life for the pair to overcome and beat once more.

ASHLEI CLIXX

Ashlei held her posture as best she could but it was all for nothing as she could feel her legs trying to force her onto the ground. Her muscles weren't responding the way they were supposed to be, disregarding the wants and needs of their master. It was noticeable that Ashlei was shaking quite badly as she held onto her mouth just in case her throat spasmed a second time. It wouldn't surprise her in the slightest if it did. This had happened many times before over the course of two years but the past few months have been more than enough to force the Queen into this position. However even though all of this, the demon Queen showed obvious affection and care for Ashlei. It made her happy to see her dearest sister worry but it also made her eternally saddened. Nobody should have to watch this happen.

It was when Mana decided to taste her blood that Ashlei's eyes widened slightly. If Mana knew anything, she should know that what she was tasting wasn't actually blood as such, but a very hostile liquid that proves Ashlei's impossible biological make up. if the girl took too much, the liquid would try its best to eat every cell that came into contact with it, dispelling as much as it could to do it. Luckily in small doses it's quite harmless. Especially since Ashlei was trying to keep her blood from glitching out of control as mana did this. It would probably be more helpful for Ashlei to refer to this stuff as something other than blood but she often uses it as a guise to what the liquid really does.

The two girls held one another close, trying to suck away all of the sorrow and despair the two had felt recently so that even for a moment they could both feel happiness together. They both lusted for it one way or another. Ashlei tried to find hers in the people she surrounded herself with and then tried again by leaving them all behind. However neither could fill the gaping hole in her chest. The sort that would kill you if left unattended. Mana took Ashleis head and placed it onto her chest but the girl was reluctant to let her do so right away. She still felt like she could throw up at any moment, but for her sisters sake she swallowed her fears and leant close, resting her head on her bosom. For some reason, it made Ashlei chuckle slightly in her mind as she tried to forget about everything but she wouldn't openly say it. Maybe if Mana asked later why she chuckled.

Ashlei honestly didn't want to say a single thing. Mana's voice was soothing enough to hear. It didn't stop her body from twitching occasionally but the concern. The worry. The love. It was all keeping her going. Ashleis frail hands clutched onto the back of Manas clothes so she could feel the stress and pain she could feel right now. It was when mana said the word 'Die' that Ashlei couldn't help but look up at her face. Her red tears were smudged across her cheeks and the look of worry and confusion was displayed. However Manas words were to reassure Ashlei that she would do whatever she could to help. It made Ashlei want to smile but she couldn't. She had some explaining to do. What exactly was the seal? Ashlei tried to talk but every sentence forced her to gulp as she spoke.

"w-well....When I first became the ruler of Hueco Mundo my Primeria....espada put a seal on my b-body. It forced my youth. I couldn't...age but as I grew up the seal began to...b-break. But as it broke it caused my youth to...go crazy. I'd spew my bodies worth in blood...I scared mother to death...I scared my sisters... I felt like I was...d-dying. I still feel like it now. But I think the seal has....broken now and my body is trying to cope. It's not surviving...though. It hurts every day."

The green aura that Mana was producing as Ashlei spoke was weirdly enchanting. It was like a spectral pair of arms were consoling the two, wrapping itself like a blanket around them to keep them closer. Ashlei brought her attention back to the conversation.

"There's no need to...put another seal on. I fear it'll hurt more... and heal less. Iv'e tried to find ways to...prevent it from killing me but...the only thing I can think of is...not scientific so I can't do it my...myself. That's why iv'e come to...you in this state. You must have some...something you can do. Even thought I...dislike getting help on this scale from... demon methods I...feel it's the only way."

Ashlei looked straight into manas eyes, making sure that what she was about to say next was as perfectly clear and serious as she intended it to be. Ashlei never really liked the way demons did their dirty work nor their powers but she was reluctant to back down now, Mana was the one special case in Ashleis eyes. Every other demon could go fuck themselves at this point. It was all in Manas hands. She had the trust. She has the love and she now has the request.

"To fix this... make me like you... Fix me with demonic means... by a demon...as a demon..."

Artist: Leila - Song: Ur Train (Feat. Luca Santucci) - Word Count: 1245
Why must things be like this now? What could have happened to cause such a circumstance? Is there anything I can really do to save her? These were some one of the passing thoughts The Demon Queen had while observing the deteriorating state of her beloved sister beginning to become more apparent as time progressed during this twisted reunion of sorts the siblings were having with one another. Sensing that The Blood Queen's body had been suffering difficulties trying to stand on it's own, something within the Regale Arrancar must've been producing a sickness that caused her to endure such an antagonizing pain. There simply had to be something more to this than Ashlei suddenly emerging half-dead at her doorstep.

"There, there. You need not buckle under the weight of everything. Let it all flow into me and I'll take away this pain, somehow, someway...." Speaking ever so softly while she uttered those words from upon her lips, Mana simply gave a "shushing" sound to her sister. This was meant to give Ashlei a verbal sense of communication needed in order to find enough comfort to relax, be at ease within the embrace of The Demon Queen and do not fret much for Mana's own well being.

As Mana and Ashlei know quite well, to see one in such a weakened state, might take ghastly stabs of horror at ones heart; but somewhere within the twisted Demoness head...apart of her knew....it knew very well...she could take this...IF for the sake of another. It is why when The Queen of Demon's tasted the burning sensation of fire within her mouth from drinking The Blood Queen's essence, this minor disturbance did not detour the loving sister from consuming more of her liquid life-force. For to love such a being as Ashlei, is to love such a concept as pain.

"Oh, dear sister, does this place not feel like a contorted and twisted sense of Heaven? It's quite a shame such circumstances were forced to bring us to each other's lives once again, but I find it very soothing in a way. It's almost as the saying goes: "Misery Loves Company". I believe in our case, that truth speaks ample enough volumes to justify why we find such reassurance in our darkest hour, nye?" Rubbing the vixen's crimson hair with the utmost care while she eased into her arms, Mana let out a content sigh; causing a chain reaction in which the shadows of the room seemed to grow colder, but the warmth between them grew stronger. A peculiar and contrasting reaction from their union among one another.

Then, when Ashlei was heard letting out a soft chuckle, a gentle and warm smile emerged across The Demon Queen's face. She knew this was one of wicked nature or humorous intent, but rather, one of repose and affection. As, in reverse, to love Mana, is to love the concept of Madness. Henceforth, even if this assumption wasn't correct, The Royal Asthavon figured it's simply what it took to truly love her. Making it oh so right in this dark, but passionate moment. 'Tis also why the Demoness did not seem to pay much mind when The Blood Queen clenched to the back of her clothing. A nerve must've been struck, a string most likely had been pulled or maybe the end was drawing near; but something rather unseemly was about to occur when Mana felt that strong tug on her backside.

It all began when Mana started listening to those brittle words echo out of The Blood Queen's frail little mouth. Explaining the circumstances of her great pain, it was giving The Demoness the needed material to discover a cure to put them both on the right path of seeing a better day where Ashlei and Mana may live in utter bliss with one another in harmony....at least that was the plan, right? "....I see, so that's where it all began." Was all Mana could really think to say upon hearing the first half of her story. Paying more attention as she spoke on further about this reflection of her pain, something started to make The Demon Queen raise an eyebrow about the wording. It's almost as if....The Blood Queen...was asking something entirely unimaginable. Something which The Royal Demon would have never thought to have escaped Ashlei's mouth, but yet, here and still, the surreal experience of this moment shattered the air like a two ton brick.

Here....Mana's little sister....was asking her to turn The Queen of Hollow's...into a demon. It was profound. It was unheard her. And it honestly left her a bit empty for words when she first heard this request. After a few silent moments, Mana composed herself to get to the bottom of this whole mess they were in. "Sister, do you know not what you speak of? Are you sure you wish to embark down this path? There is no guarantee you can ever go back to the way you were if you insist on such...unthinkable request." Returning Ashlei's gaze with equal intensity, The Demon Queen was making sure each of her words pierced into The Blood Queen's head as firmly as they possibly could. Whatever she was suffering, whatever she was enduring and whatever lead up to this; this agony....this despair....if it was horrid enough to convince such a desire within heart....it must've been more urgent in nature than Mana had one thought.

They were spinning further and further into the rabbit's hole, and The Demoness wasn't quite sure how far they were going to go into at this point, but she felt it was deeply needed to advise her sisters of the warnings of going through such an inconceivable procedure. "Even if you in your sane mind, I hope you are prepared with the possible repercussions of such a request. You do know that your blood actively fights against any outside resources, am I not correct?"

Licking her tongue to savor the passed sensation of Ashlei's being passing through her mouth, it was clear to Mana in that moment and the previous time she had drank her blood that there was an obvious agent within her blood that fought against external influence and served to guard the structure of her body with the most absolute nature it could construct within The Hollow Queen's ability. "Provided I was able to bypass in such a way, in your condition, I'm still unsure if you could really handle it." Sighing and inspecting Ashlei's body closer, Mana sucked her teeth and figured things were going to progress further in it's critical nature as this day went on.

"If you really believe that this is the way you should go, then on your call, I will begin the process...of turning you.." With those said words said, The Demonness stared closely and deeply into eyes of The Hollow Queen; as she wanted her to take this consideration with a heavy thought and much time process the information in which she was given. The road in which these two were travelling was going to be rough one, but this was truly something unforeseen. The choice she makes may be one that will take a large page out of the history books, or one that could end in utter tragedy. No matter which path she takes, The Demon Queen more than knew she was going to be taken for a rollercoster of a ride as this day kept playing out.

ASHLEI CLIXX

Ashleis body had had its fair share of damage and sickness in its time so this feeling wasn't entirely new to her right now. The girl could keep herself standing and at least hold her composure as she talked to Mana. Eventually, the sickness would start to fade but it was taking longer than usual this time round. Maybe it was the anxiety of asking such a thing from Mana. Maybe it was something else under the surface. Most things that Mana was saying to Ashlei was being hardly heard as she tried to regain her bodies function. Pushing herself to stand up straight, she listened as Mana reacted to her request. It was the reaction Ashlei was expecting. Mana was like that mother figure that was frightened of what could possibly happen. Ashlei knew though, that she needed to go through with this. The bloody queen swallowed deeply and talked with a much healthier tone to her voice this time.

"I understand how dangerous this is. In fact, I understand that it might not even work and it might make me die quicker. You have to understand though. My views on all of this. It isn't like this request is the easiest thing Iv'e had to ask."

Ashlei strengthened her stance as much as she could. The urge to vomit blood had passed but what she was going to say next could become very frightening and would make any normal person want to puke if Mana didn't understand her meaning behind it.

"I...this isn't easy for me to say but... I hate you Mana. Everything about your people and what they do. I hate it. But...but"

Ashlei looked into Manas eyes to say this, hoping that the effect would eradicate the negativity that her words were bringing with them.

"My love for you swallows that hatred as though it isn't there! If it was anybody other than Mana things would have been different and I would still be in a coma."

Hopefully this would reassure Mana that Ashlei had no intention to hurt her and that it was the exact opposite that she was saying. Ashlei truly had an attachment to Mana but throughout her years aligned with the Demons she has found them to be unlikeable. They felt like copies of the Hollow race with a much more vulgar objective. However she needed them now even though she hates to admit it.

"Asking this from you tears apart what it means to be the Queen of Hollows. You can understand how painful that sounds to me right? But... I have to do it before I die. I could spew out my entire body's worth of blood and dry out..."

Ashlei displayed several emotions as she said this to Mana ranging between worry and anger as though she was frustrated at herself for being so flimsy and breakable. There was a problem with the process though which Ashlei would need to reassure Mana about.

"Don't worry about my blood and the process. I will hold my powers back as much as possible to let everything in and convert my body but I can't promise that I can hold it for too long. Plus... I don't think we will need to make a complete conversion. I'd like to at least keep half of me. Just half of a demons blood being accepted into my stream might counteract the hostility of my own"

Ashlei had no need to wait and think about this decision. She already knew that this is what she wanted. She was going to regret it afterwards but if it is to save her life, she will go through with it. Ashlei moved her body as she felt all of her muscles regaining their strength and reached to take Man by the hand.

"Shall we go do this? You have all of my trust. I know you can do it"

SONG HEAVILY RECOMMENDED TO LISTEN TO WHILE READING

Artist: SOUND HOLIC - Song: Prière -プリエール - Word Count: 1665
Things were spinning in quite the twisted direction on this fair night between the two Queen's of the night. It was quite bizarre, quite queer and utterly odd to think things would reach a point where The Ruler of Arrancar needed to become a demon to survive. If you had informed The Demoness of such an event three years ago when it came to the likes of Ashlei Clixx being turned? Mana surely would have you laughed out of existence with our ridiculous the notion sounded. Yet, as life has shown time and time again, it has a funny way of making the impossible possible.

Taking further gazes upon The Blood Queen's body, Mana certainty knew she wasn't joking one bit about the urgency of how critical it was for her to be transformed. Each limb seemed frail; as if The Demoness could sever them in half with but a simple flick of her wrist, the majority of bloodied marks across her body showed whatever healing systems she had in place were obviously failing her and the overall life force pulsating within the likes of The Regale Arrancar was surely fading out with each passing moment; if only gradually.

Though, if it meant anything else, at least she was in a stable enough zone of health to maintain coherent thoughts and formulate words from upon her mouth. As, when Mana was listening to Ashlei go on about knowing the dangers associated with being converted from an Arrancar to a Demon of the night, the relief set in within her soul to know that for the time being she was going to be alright. Yet, further behind that fence of ease, the overwhelming clouds of the unknown brewed within The Demoness's mind.

The future was coming in at an alarming rate, and with it brought uncertainties that spiraled across every nook and carny of Mana's heart. More and more questions roared and tumbled about inside of her mind as she battled with the decision; nay, the choice to save Ashlei's life with this experimental producer or not. Examining the whole circumstance laid out before her, many types of inquiries were being crafted inside of The Demon Queen's head. Was she doing the right thing in allowing her dear sister to become the monster she is today? Were the benefits of this unheard of metamorphosis great enough to justify the staggering risk in this treatment? Could this be the path to salvation the two needed to at last find their place of utter serenity and bliss?

There was much doubt brewing about inside of Mana's consciousness; as hearing each beat of her heart was akin to each passing second where the chances to save Ashlei were dwindling like ash in the wind. Though, like a bellowing clap of thunder, she was snapped out of this dubious haze by the piercing of her sisters words shattering that dome of ambitious thought. For a moment, she pondered why her sweet sibling of the night would say such a thing? Hating her kind?

For all this time, until this very second, Mana never considered the likes of Arrancar or Demons to be very much different. To her, they were all one big extended family fighting for the same purposes, pushing themselves to be allies to crush all those who oppose them in their sinister unification. After all, it was the whole point of Shadow Fall in the first place. To take arms in the blood of their adversaries, band under the tune of one banner and emerge as an overwhelming force to dare be trifled with by their enemies. So, upon processing these words into her inner psyche, it honestly made The Demon Queen feel quite a bit hurt in the way in which she felt about her and her kind.

However, before the shadow's despair could settle into Mana's heart, there was more her dear sister had to say to her in regards to that entire comment. Raising her head up, Mana listened closely to what Ashlei was saying as she was laying her feelings all out on the table in this tense game of life or death. When Ashlei confessed her undying love for The Demoness, a small blush of surprised admiration swept across the Queen's face; as she was taken a bit back by that after assuming the worse about her sister; even if it were for just a few dark moments.

In that sense of finally receiving the devotion she had so longed for from her dear sister, Mana instinctively grabbed her and held her close in her arms. For, it was upon hearing that sentiment that The Demon Queen knew what she must do in order to save her kin. It didn't matter anymore how lethal things could get, it didn't matter how dangerous preparing something like this was and it sure in the hell did not matter if it was going to be a difficult road. By the uniting of their love for one another, with their combined wills going at work within the body of Ashlei, there would be not a damn thing which stand forth in their way.

Will it be hard? Unbelievably so. But so has every waking second for countless millennial between the two aching creatures of the night as they walked this accused plane of existence; stifling in the dark, surviving in such an unsettling way and stumbling across the masses of dead bodies along the way to discover each others hearts in this sea of endless blood to finally find, at long last, what it means to care for another being i their twisted sense of family.

Biting her lip not out of pain, but due to the immense amount of feelings that were surging throughout her feeling, Mana began to cry green tears of happiness as she knew she had, at long last, found a substantial and meaningful purpose to use her great prowess. Her hands had destroyed so many, obliterated countless nations and purged many souls of this world into the shadows of death's valley. So, in this moment, at this time, in this place; it meant so much to The Demon Queen to be able to save this very precious life with the strength she was given. And in her hands, her very capable hands, Mana would give it her absolute best to do whatever her boundless powers could to save this cherished person in her life. No matter what the cost, no matter what the risk and no matter what it would; Ashlei's life was going to be saved. Mana would stake her life on this claim.

"Sister...to have doubted the strength of our love....is quite shameful of me. To have forgotten what it meant to be sisters with you, these bonds that tie me into your heart have reminded me all too well how powerful our devotion for one another is. You need not say anymore, you need not cry anymore. For what I have found in you, and what you have found in me, is more powerful, more astounding and more divine than anything I have encountered within my lifetime. This fondness, this passion and this infatuation we've birthed between us has blossomed, ripened and bloomed into a remarkable fruit. A fruit, that in this murky night will we consume. And in it's contents, an unbreakable love will fill our bloody hearts. No matter what happens to us at this point, for better or worse, this Fruit of Love will guide our hollow souls down this dark path and give us the courage, the reason and the strength to go on."

When that heartfelt speech to her sister was over, there was going to be no more holding back. The walls of the impossible would be shattered, the power of their love would fight against the odds and the battle to save Ashlei's precious, precious life would begin. No longer combating for just herself, Mana now had a purpose, a goal and a clearly defined objective at hand. In that line of thought, The Demoness fangs reacted in such a way that they grew two times in size. And, like a domino effect, the alterations of change kept swarming in.

Soon after that, a strong green glow illuminated the once dim room; filling it with a strong sensation of warmth to envelop The Blood and Demon Queen's bodies. "Together, you and I....WE'LL SLAUGHTER THEM ALL! I won't let this take you away from this world! I won't let it take you away from me and I stake my life, in this moment, to save you!" Rows of razor sharp teeth coming into view inside of the mouth of Mana, she then proceeded to chomp down on Ashlei's neck.

From there, a swirling vortex of crimson and emerald green lights whirred all around the two siblings. This was the end and beginning all occurring at once. As, for now, The Arrancar known as Ashlei Clixx would be no more. But, in it's place, something stronger and something far more enlightened would be put in it's place. For with each of their blood streaming together in an overwhelming fixture of power within The Blood Queen's powers, Ashlei would be whole once more.

Henceforth, with Mana's external shifting, it steadily began the process of passing on the cells of Mana's demonic DNA into The Regale Arrancar's body to morph her at long last. Shifting, contorting and turning her body into that of a demon. Invading every presence of sweet sisters body, engulfing her in the entirety of Mana's influence as she did her best to overpower and fight against the opposition of The Blood Queen's awesome battle in a showdown of valor, love and passion.

And so, with these final actions made, in the heat of it all; the consequences of the two's actions would soon come out. The death of Ashlei, the rebirth of Ashlei or the strength of Ashlei would all be tested soon enough.

ASHLEI CLIXX

Mana's realisation that Ashlei had meant no harm in her comments and that she was truly getting across her feelings gave both Queens a feeling of relief. There was never supposed to be any ill talk here tonight but this felt like the perfect time to get their feelings out in the open just in case it might be their last chance. There was never any certainty that Ashlei might survive this procedure but Mana was so compelled to successfully perform this operation that Ashlei could feel a sense of safety and reassurance that everything was going to be alright. Maybe it wasn't that Mana wasn't aware of Ashlei's affection, but she had simply forgotten of it since they were last together. Their feelings were not interlocked as well as they used to be and this was exactly what they needed to rebuild their relationship.

"Thank you Mana, I am happy to hear that you remember our love for one another. It really reassures me to know my life is in your hands over anyone elses. However don't remind yourself too fondly at this moment before you handle me otherwise we might be on the bed together before we realise it"

Ashlei chuckled at this comment before any of the preparations began. Ashlei strengthened her form and prepared her body to get ready for this. She had no idea how badly it might end up so bracing yourself for the inevitable was wise. The girl closed her eyes and straightened her expression as Mana quickly buried what felt like rows of teeth into her skin. At first, Ashlei felt nothing. Not a single thing would be able to tickle her nerves as she could control how much pain she could feel on a whim. The green swirling energy that Ashlei had closed her eyes to was becoming more prominent and her slowly returning feeling of pain was making itself known once the blood began to spill. The girls body twitched whilst her powers forced her blood to subside and flee her veins in a desperate attempt to make room for the Demonic DNA. Pushing her current powers to their limits felt feeble in comparison to what she was used to doing. After a few seconds of preparation passing, that was when everything began to hurt.

Ashleis mouth was prized shut like a weighted portcullis but the overwhelming pain that struck her nerves as it entered her body was enough to rip open her forced shut mouth and gasp in terror. Ashleis body tingled in every possible way and grew in feeling until it felt like her entire being was set ablaze. her eyes throbbed, her teeth felt like they were to shatter, her hair stood on end, her fingers twitched and her arms jutted out uncontrollably. The girl was in physical pain for the first time in her life. Ashlei had no idea how to deal with it either. Everything hurt, pushing her to let go of her muscles and just drop to the ground and writhe but her will would keep her standing. After a few more second, as she felt the blood trickle around her veins, Ashleis jaw dropped and her voice summoned a terrifying scream of agony.

The girl wanted to push Mana off and end this pain but her need to continue stopped her. Her hand slowly moved round to hold onto Manas hand, to hopefully ease the pain and calm her but as she tried, her body jerked once more and split a fissure of pain straight through her head. Her blood needed to fight back but she wasn't letting it. Parts of her were allowing the Demonic DNA in and she couldn't let it fight back now. It wasn't finished yet. It can't have finished. The girls blood tried to find any method of escape be it her ears, her nose, her mouth or her eyes. Anything that wasn't a part of her that was being converted was acceptable and she pushed what she could out. Eventually, the girl was half empty of her own body mass of blood and had moved it all onto the outside of her body, trickling to the floor. Ashlei wasn't screaming anymore. In fact she was silent and tired. Exhausted from her body losing this much blood and energy. The girl went pale, and after a few moments...

... Ashlei lost grip on consciousness and fell...

Return, Reclaim, Rebuild Empty Re: Return, Reclaim, Rebuild

Artist: Xenoglossy - Song: 覚り妖怪とパンプキンパイとメタ - Word Count: 1305
Tasting the flesh of her dear sister was quite a rush for Mana; it was enough to make her start making all sorts of moaning noises as she drained the blood dry of Ashlei nearly. There blood was mixing, their bond was uniting and it all was a spectacle to behold for anyone watching them at this point. As in this day, at this moment; the merging between the two Queens' of the shadows were taking place in a sinister union, the likes of which has never been seen before Arrancar or Demon eyes before.

And in line with these tense thoughts, The Demoness already knew that when her sister started convulsing in such ungodly pain, that this was simply a process that needed to be passed. It was possible for her to sense the agonizing hurt her sister was enduring, but this wasns't the time to subcome to her feelings. Mana had made a promise, a very deep one, within the depths of her heart. One that would allow her to remain strong in the weather of this unending storm of torment, bloodshed and madness these two girls were entrapped in like a fly caught within a spider's ghastly web.

Yet, it was this same agony that bonded the two girls in the first place. For it wasn't for this horrid aching within the twos heart and minds, their fates may have very well never have been interconnected such as it is now. Henceforth, The Demon Queen was forced into a position where she must take the good with the downright horrible. This wasn't a commitment that would be so easily brushed off the shoulders of Mana, she was in it for the long haul and she knew that what the two of them felt for one another could rise against all else that may come along their path until they meet the true death. So, in that moment where Dear Ashlei had collapsed on the floor from massive blood lose, Mana refused for her to give out here. Making good use of her body manipulation, the volume of blood being produced within The Demonesses body began to ramp up in activity.

After a few short moments had passed, when she had completed breaking down some of her energy, Mana had more than enough blood to fill an entire blood bank for the next month being stored within the pits of her body. Furthermore, after memorizing the structure of The Blood Queen's DNA after consuming such large amounts of it within the depths of her body's core, The Royal Demon attempted to infuse Ashlei's genetic code into it to eventually overwhelm Mana's and act as if it were The Mischevang's own blood. This way, if what she theorized worked, it had the strong potential to bypass some of the defensive effects of The Former Hollow's blood and serve to restock the amounts of blood within her body to give her a jump shock of sorts. Which is why Mana wasted no time in giving Ashlei a strong kiss upon the lips that instilled all of her love, all of her trust and all of the awesome power that came with knowing the Queen of Demon's and taking in what it meant to have Demon Blood coursing through The Misechvang's veins like a raging torrent.

And so, from this point forward, the smooch would intensify in it's effects upon the newly experimental being known as Ashlei Clixx. Transferring large chunks of this specially produced blood into the Hollow Queen, this may very well be the spark she needed to once again regain her consciousness. From there, if it allowed into her system, this vital fluid attempted to release a passive presence in it. If there were any chance of Ashlei's blood realizing this as an agent meant to heal, Mana was placing all of these instincts into it to release all sorts of pulsations from within to lessen the possibility of The Blood Queen's body reacting negatively to this blood being injected into her. As, if it were to be accepted into her anatomy, this agent submerging itself within Ashlei insisted on correcting any painful faults within her body. Going on to heal some of the distraught nerves, restore the psyche of Ashlei's mind peak mental condition and eventually make he come back stronger than before with the newly acquired demonic powers as Mana's gift to her sister.

"I will not allow you to die on my hands. Do you hear me, dear sister? I am here for you, I will not abandon you and I will do what it takes to prove this loyalty, love and lust that I have brewed within my heart for such a long time. Take this blood, accept my essence and awaken once more to the world around you as a rebirthed being. Let you not fall here in the pits of despair, but rise above it all to be greater than before and to stand by my side once again in this twisted and demented realm in which we call home." Rubbing Ashlei's face while speaking, a small smile emerged across the wicked Queen's face as she did her best to comfort her dear sister. It didn't matter how nasty things had gotten in this room, or what sort of violent reaction The Blood Queen's body was undergoing; she knew at the end of the time, their love simply had to prevail over all else and come out on top like The Royalty they are.

The only thing that was left to do now was to see what the effects of this merging of their elements would produce within Ashlei's body. Could it very well kill her and make all of this progression utterly worthless? Perhaps this experimental procedure may have no effects whatsoever and Ashlei would simply return to being an Arrancar despite this immense attempt to turn her over? Or could something right out of left-field occur that not even Mana could have seen coming occur?

These and many more questions were being asked within the pits of Mana's mind as she awaited to see how Ashlei would far in the aftereffects of this transferences. Depending on the outcome of everything, she may very well know what to do next in order to assist her beloved sister in this dark day. This path was getting rough, her heart was getting heavy seeing The Bloody Queen in such immense pain, but her resolve to stay strong was above all else and she was going to see this damned thing through to the end.

As for Ashlei's sake, nay, both of the sisters sake; Mana was going to be the one who would protect them from any and all harm. With her life on the line, and their dreams on the horizon, The Demoness was going to do all that she could to ensure that their fantasies become a reality. As in her hands, in her very capable hands, Mana held the capacity to change the lives of many, devastated the landscape of entire countries and change the course of history itself with her overwhelming power. If she could take on Gods, rule over countless lords and have the gull to even tame the powers that be of death; Mana had to figure, that somewhere within her rotten core, there had to be some sort of strength left to save a life.

For, within her mind, in this very instant, she had pondered: What was the use of having a ll these amazing abilities if they couldn't even save someone you loved the most? Ending on that note, she'd cease with any other further thoughts and channeled all of her remaining mental energy towards improving Ashlei's health.

...they were going to make it...no matter what.
