Gfx Help/review

As the title says I'm in need of some help/tips/reviews for some graphics I've decided to try working on. Currently I'm attempting to make myself a header for my Demon, Uluthrek, and here's what I have at this point; Header W.I.P

Pretty much I'm looking for any and all suggestions & tips, whether it be for lighting, which brushes may be better for what I've tried so far, and so on. Aside from getting help on this specific piece, whatever advice/tips I get will help better my skills.

Just finished working on a header for Shinsei's app.. I've got two results, and though I know which I shall be using I'd appreciate any feedback that I can get.

The header in the following spoiler is my first attempt at one for Shinsei's app. Admittedly the second attempt is much better, at least in my opinion. Either way any feedback on it would be appreciated.

Shinsei Header #3:

Personally, I like the first attempt better. I like the artwork on that one for the FC, and I also believe it to look more elegant and softer. the Colour blend in my opinion looks better, and I like how it just stays ¨The Silent Beast¨. It adds a little more sense of mystery to it.
