Yubaba [The Witch of the Woods] [NPC; ?-?]

Note: this npc is built for CASUAL rp purposes, even if she makes appearances in fight threads. She does not fight. I cannot stress this enough.

Name: Yubaba
Age: Unknown, but said to have lived during the end of the first millennium
Gender: Female

Personality:
Yubaba is a woman of little words. She speaks only if she needs to and addresses people only she deems worth talking to. If anybody were to approach her, chances are she would more than likely ignore them and continue with her activities. Such is the way of Yubaba. A woman with more important things to do that to simply chat with you. However, she does come across as a very docile old lady that takes pride in the simple things. She will often to be found in the woods around the world, looking for things to take back to her home be it twigs, frogs, debris or even just a plain leaf. Such is her life and it is a life that she is happy to lead.

This does however bring about her ambiguity and her constant anonymous actions. She will often do things without people being aware of her presence whatsoever. She prefers things be this way, as she does not wish to draw any attention to herself, even if it may actually benefit her. Any sort of social interaction is beneath her, so if she was every actually caught talking to someone other than her pet cat, it was be considered a freak occurrence. Some say she has only ever engaged in 5 minutes of dialogue over the course of her life with another person. her cat is very fortunate to get the amount of attention they do from her.

If there is anything to truly look out for in Yubaba, it's her keen interest on things she likes. If she suddenly begins to enjoy something, she will show an uncanny interest in it. She will want to learn all she can from it and record her findings, be it an apple, a wardrobe or even somebody she see's walking through the woods. This can lead to some dangerous results as she has been known to kidnap children and look after them for a while. Some missing peoples have been found several years later saying they spent the time with a wonderful witch that looked after them. Depending on peoples views, this could be a good or a bad thing.

Appearance
Yubaba is huge in size with an impossible skeletal structure. She should be incapable of any real movement, but she somehow manages to navigate herself perfectly fine. Her head alone is the size of a young teenager, incredibly wrinkled and showing signs of several thousand years of ageing. Her eyes are the size of large soccer balls and her mouth looks like it could swallow a child whole. The rest of her body is tiny. She isn't exactly thin but she isn't fat either. She is just short and stubby, having a body smaller than her own head. She tends to always wear a blue dress and her white gray hair is always tied up into a knot at the peak of her incredible skull. Her dress is litered with several gems and ornaments, including her forehead of which a special gem has been etched into her body.

Tier: Yubaba is ambiguous. Her tier is never truly reflected as she never utilises any powers beyond simple magics. However, in the grand scheme of things, she is said to hold incredibly magical potential and has channelled this elsewhere, giving way for her silly gimmicks as opposed to destructive ones. Note, her tier should never be granted to keep her ambiguity.

Race: Human, Witch

Brief History:
Yubaba has existed for as long as many remember. She has ties to most organisations back when they first stood. The Soul Society was once a very barbaric place and she also remembers back when the living world was still taking baby steps across deserts, making religions and building civilisations. What did she do whilst she watched all this happen? She learned. She would spend her days following these people, kidnapping the intelligent ones and researching with them, then eventually on them before releasing them. Yubaba knows what really happened all those years ago but she will never tell anyone. She has no reason to.

She watched as the events of time unfolded and each time she remained. She never saw any reason to intervene as the world she chose to live in was never truly affected regardless of the victor. So long as she had woods to explore and things to discover, she never grew tired, so long as the world remained there.

Now, she knows enough about the world to not really care for it anymore. If things were to suddenly end, she would not complain. She takes up hobbies that people enjoy and spends most of her days using alchemy to create intriguing magic. To do this, she created a magical shroud around her cottage in the woods and combined that with a mass teleportation spell. Yubaba could be anywhere and you never know it. She just prefers the woods nearby.

Associated Character:
Yubaba does not associate herself with anyone. However she will approach those that stray too close to her home in the woods if need be. Generally, she prefers to stay in hiding away from people.

Powers:

Anti-age: Never dying is something Yubaba had always wanted to understand. Because of this intruige, she delved into medical alchemy's to bring about eternal youth. However what she didn't realise was that her magic was not perfect, and very sloppy. She cursed herself with her imperfect magic, granting herself immunity to death via age. However, her body would always grow older.

Phasing: Yubaba has enchanted herself and her home with a Phasing shroud. Those effected are no longer strung to the real world, nor any other world. However, they may still interact with it. By picking up items such as mushrooms, Yubaba brings them into her world through touch. She does not have to phase the other item at all however. She can still move it as though it were possessed, but she would never be detectable. Even walking into her would do nothing. She literally isn't there but at the same time is.This is where most of her magic ends up being fed into as she does not want anyone to ever find her home, lest she gives them access. For all you know, you walked right through her kitchen and she watched you do it. In the past, someone has set up camp in her front room, thinking it was just the middle of an empty wood. As a joke, she removed the shroud, suffocating them in the floorboards. it is wise to note this ability is never used for offensive means

Endless Magic: Yubaba is a masterful witch that knows all kinds of incredible magic. The length of enchantments and curses generally depends on her own choice, but in character she would never cause an enchantment to be permanent, unless driven to.

Healing: Yubaba's original main focus was to learn how to cheat death in all of it's ways. She is capable of enchanting and cursing people she wishes with many different kinds of magic that can heal, but also do the exact opposite and hurt.

Alchemy: Yubaba is also a master of changing one item into another through alchemical equivalent exchange. This means she could turn a tree into dirt, sand into gravel, A statue into ice or even water into lava. So long as it holds the same substance, she can exchange its genetic make up to become something completely different. it's also how she built her own cottage.

Movement: Yubaba can push her own movement to high speeds without hurting herself. Combined with phasing, she can move around Earth and over worlds freely with ease. She can also do the exact opposite an enchant people or even herself with a slowing, sluggish curse.

Imagination: In a way, Yubaba can do anything she wants at any time so long as she has the imagination for it. She can turn people into frogs, remove or improve the ability of speech, conjure the elements, grow and shrink in size, move objects with her own will, create and disintegrate and more. She is only limited by her own energy and her personality. Since she will NEVER outright attempt to fight someone, she will only ever use her abilities in a form of fun mischief. Note that Yubaba's magic is for Rp purposes and NOT fighting
