Quincy DossierFamily Matters:
Complicated wouldn't begin to even fathom Sterben's family. He is the son of Yhwach technically by cells which were put into him. this heritage is something that he doesn't care about. Despite having inherited a sum of his father gigantic powers. the drawbacks from his inception are very simple. He cannot age past the child form he is often seen in but he doesn't age. In truth, he doesn't require food or things of that nature. Due to his odd birth into Yhwach's family, he is rather unique. Sterben is a child who's appearance gets attention fairly quickly. He wasn't given any particular standing but the tests were successful. He did inherit immortality from his father among other things. Along with an A based power despite only using his C based power. Name:
C the Creator. A the ArmageddonRace:
Five foot two inchesWeight:
To say that Sterben looks very small for his size is an understatement. The child is extremely thin without muscles on his body. Sterben was once regarded as the Prince of the Vandenreich. His piercing yellow eyes and seeming empty posture is something confusing. The child doesn't stand normally and often seems lifeless. It has been often thought he may be a corpse within the human form. but beyond that the boy is quiet and innocent with little he seems capable of. While not showing a tremendous deal of emotions even when pain is inflicted. Sterben is something of a mysterious creature to those around him. Even to his father who would distance himself from the boy. Sterben was a creature, not a Quincy. He was something that couldn't be explained through normal means.
Some things can be figured out by looking at the boy. Sterben doesn't display any emotions or physical desires. He is perhaps one of the few beings who could be called empty. Sterben lacks personality or thought process when it comes to most things. It's not that he isn't smart or intelligent in fact it's the exact opposite. Sterben has an extremely high I.Q and is capable of calculating things extremely quickly. It's just he doesn't care or have a driving force inside him. He is completely indifferent to the point he'll sleep if nothing is ordered. Sterben doesn't show interest in food or people generally. It's a rare type of person to gain his attention. However under most circumstances, even his own father the Emperor couldn't gain his interest. Sterben is really indifferent to the world completely.Apathetic:
He is perhaps one of the strangest of people you could meet. Sterben doesn't react to anything at all. His emotions are constantly at a zero. He doesn't seem concerned or really invested in anything that happens. His Emperor gives him orders he cares them out. No signs of joy or any particular motivation are general seen from him. Even Sterben's father found his lack of interest in survival alone disturbing. Sterben is unable to care about any of that or anything. He doesn't care about himself much either as in his words he's not that interesting. He doesn't see himself as a value worth saving and thus just doesn't care. Sterben doesn't have friends or anything like that for him to need emotions. Sterben is perhaps the best example of an apathetic person who has gone to the extreme. Sterben has been hit before and did not react to give you an idea. He shows no emotion or signs of retaliation. The only time Sterben will fight is if his Emperor commands him too.Lazy:
Sterben's perhaps only personality trait is that he would rather not work. There is one other and the boy shows it fairly often. Content to just sleep away the day entirely. He has no interest in the passing of time and could sleep hundreds of years. Sterben's slumber can often be so deep that it takes the Emperor to wake him. Due to the fact, he doesn't feel pain Sterben is extremely hard to awaken. Over the years, the Vadenreich had changed tactics. Cold and hot water were used to no effect at first. What it came down to in the end to awaken the creature. Was Yhwach would have to come directly order him to awaken. If an order was given to sleep Sterben would sleep harder than any being in existence. However some other ways to awaken him exist aside from the Emperor. A being must interest Sterben to some extent in order for him to care. If enough motivation is shown for him to wake up. This person should consider themselves very special.
Sterben's favorite hobby in the world is to be sleeping. It's said the boy could sleep through every natural calamity that happens. The Vandenreich in the old days tried several ways to interrupt his hobby. Sterben was a rather big fan of just going to sleep for most things. He wanted to remain hidden from everything going on in the world. Sleeping was, of course, the easiest way to do that. His dreams were often much more exciting than whatever went on in reality.Though he was capable of handling that sort of thing relatively easily. Sterben's love of sleep goes to listening to music for it. Showing interest in things involving sleep. Certain sounds or ideal conditions to set sleeping to a new level. Sterben has very few things he likes enough to stay awake for. His love of sleeping can go on for years or decades even. The Vandenreich's previous Emperor Hulderic decided not to wake him.People Like Him:
One thing that is known for sure. Is that Sterben likes people similar to him? Those with powers like his own set he has. Sterben's curse is those powers and he feels connected to those similar. It's largely why his father and many others distanced themselves from him. He found no comfort in the arms of others or even Emperors. Though Ghislain has been the kindest Emperor to his troubles thus far. He believes that's because he and Ghislain are similar and nothing else. His desire to meet others like himself is very strong. He wants that to see the reflection of what he is. All those cursed by the power of Anti-Matter have turned out differently from others. Sterben's power is so massive that it causes most Quincy Equipment to break when he uses it. This curse has left him without much to use. It made his father make him out to be a demon and others keep him at arms reach. Thus, Sterben is a very strange being among even the Quincy. The Idea of Being a Normal Kid:
Deep inside Sterben has always wished to be normal. He has always wished he could be like other Quincy. That his power wasn't the way it was. But this was something that generally helped him sleep. Dream of a life where he wasn't what he was. That his father didn't do this to him and abandon him this way. That Sterben the Quincy Super Weapon didn't exist and it was Sterben the normal boy. He didn't ever want to be a destroyer or even a creator. Sterben desired being normal above all else and didn't find the prospect of being this at all enjoyable. He was the thing that the Quincy wanted to use in response to the destroyer that came. However this information was provided and Ghislain had strongly been against it. That Sterben should have been allowed to be a normal child. Back then it was so different from anything he's experienced in his life. Being treated as something more than a monster for the Vandenreich. A dream was the only comforting reality for him. Fairy Tails:
