"Such misfortune."
First words that ever came out of his mouth when he reached the mountain. Why such an ordeal to reach the peak of the mountain in the first place? If his family would be so nice enough to provide a transport up to the mountain for this Iramasha they spoke of, considering Touma's situation and fairly basic fighting abilities, his survival in battles was no more but a shred of miracle by the people he stood beside and fought him as solo fights weren't in his capability at all, so what did they do? To send him to someone competent of improving his abilities and awaken the blood of the Yuudeshi flowing within him but of course, with luck like his, it won't help much for him, however, there is no reason to not trust the words of his family either of this powerful Iramasha that is willing to help those who dares to tread their foot to a new world, where their abilities could flourish and learn what they can do themselves. Whoever this person is, what he truly hopes is that his hands, Imagine Breaker, won't be a hassle to this.. 'training' as to compare with everything else, its his ability named 'Imagine Breaker' is the biggest worry around.

And what is this so-called 'Imagine Breaker'? Not officially well-known, but his family does acknowledge the ability that Touma has. Touma Yuudeshi's ability, the Imagine Breaker, has the capability to negate anything supernatural regardless of their nature, to the point where his ability negated God's blessings and caused his life a huge mess of misfortune where he attracts bad luck. Otherwise, whether if there are barriers, enhancements, energy blasts, anything that is related to the supernatural would be negated. It is not because he intentionally does so, but Imagine Breaker is an ability that Touma isn't capable of controlling at all since it would automatically negate anything supernatural that it touches, making passive. Imagine Breaker isn't really supernatural in itself either, neither it is a natural ability, making his ability something that no one can explain even through science. Hence, this misfortunate ability of his was kept secret in public because who knows what may happen to him if this word gets out of hand. Some 'new' ability suddenly appears that can seemingly miraculously negate whatever deemed 'supernatural'. Whatever up there on the peak, what he hopes isn't something that his Imagine Breaker would suddenly react to.

Seriously though, climbing to the peak of the mountain? Touma thought to himself if he was crazy enough to climb this mountain without any proper equipment other than a drink and a food, which is simply that's it. It is such a misfortune to not possess some special ability or some fancy ride to bring him up either, making his journey lasts for almost an hour worth of climbing. Once reaching the peak? The changes in temperature and pressure in altitude didn't seem to have much of an effect against him either. Not sure whether if he was athletic enough to survive high altitudes on the peak or its because of something is altering it to be suitable for living conditions. Whatever it is, he would be lucky if it didn't react to it but his so-called 'luck' never seem to exist for him anyway.

However, if he was found after he reached the peak? Well, first thing you'll find Touma's body would be laying down against the floor, panting and almost dead from the horrendous journey of climbing up the mountain. Since Touma has been involved in many of those 'thug fights' and went against quite a number of supernatural beings, he had enough experience and punishment to endure the harsh climb in the first place, but being a non-athletic person in terms of endurance, this kind of mountain-climbing training would be torturing for him. Such a misfortune to climb this mountain.

Though, one would ask themselves, why would he go so far as climbing a mountain? Simply put, this Iramasha or whoever she is, made a wide broadcast about training others to become the strongest version of themselves, things about raising hands for justice and whatnot. Considering Touma's lack of practice and somewhat busy schedule of his family, they took the opportunity to throw him to someone who has the time to train a guy as misfortunate as himself. He didn't want to walk all over their expectations either, since he thought that it would be a great opportunity for himself as well, to understand more about his ability, to a day where he can control this mysterious power of his that has been residing within his hands for a long time and make use of that ability. Well, Touma isn't really aiming to be all-powerful too, as he just simply want the capability to be able to save someone in need of help, no more and no less, because there is no reason to not help either. Now then, who is this person he supposed to meet?

THE FRIGID HEROINE'S POST

For once, there wasn't a single cloud or snowflake falling down from the sky. Sure, the scenery of this mountain was covered in snow, but there seemed to be a rich shade of blue and white painted across the heavens which gave it quite the serene and placid feel to it. And why shouldn't it have this aura to it? After all, this ridge was cared after by a celestial. So it would make sense that all through these blessed lands the atmosphere of fulfillment and calm should embrace this terrority.

It is why so many seemed to flock to this region of the world. They were all in search of that light and hope which this isle seemed to beacon and shine in a world cast in darkness and despair. All of them yearned to find their path within this holiness, reach the pinnacle of their inner most selves and be descendants of righteousness to spread the flame of miracles and faith throughout the world with their heroism.

So, like a moth drawn to the fire of an all-alluring light, the wavelength of another human spirit came venturing forth to this summit of heroes. There wasn't much that The Angel of The Ice could read on the male, but that didn't mean she would not try her best to help him find his way either. Everyone who had a desire to do better was welcome to her home and she was going to greet him just the same as anyone else with an ambition and desire to improve.

Thus, in a mist of white fog would The Celestial then emerge before the vessel of misfortune. As the winds eased the mist away, the flickering of crystal blue hair could be seen by The Yuudeshi. And, as The Angel approached closer, as to did her ocean hued eyes pierce through the whiteness around them. Stepping forth from the veil of light, The Frigid Heronine would then place her right hand gently upon his back.

Then, in that moment, perhaps he would feel a sense of new vigor and might flowing throughout his body. The reason for this occurrence transpiring is based on the fact that she possessed the ability to spread healing through her angelic aura. And, given how little power the male seemed to possess, it wasn't too difficult for her to recover the deathly exhausted energy of the boy.

However, there was something unnerving about his right arm and she seemed to have energy not engulf that portion of his body. Why? Well, Cirno wasn't a fool. She was a century year old celestial with years of complex training from elder Iramasha. And, as of now, she was in her mature form to boot. So her perception of the magical world was top-notch and she could sense a great magic within that arm. One which seemed to yearn to negate anything it touched.

Therefore, to prevent harm to the boy, she would evade making contact with it until the story and context behind it was given by the male. As, more than likely, that curse could perhaps be his reason for coming here without so much as a single word being uttered between the two.

After finishing up with her restorative grace, The Angel of The Ice would then stand up off her knee to view the male from above. With each of her six wings fluttering about in the wind, the woman seemed to give a small laugh at the boy before offering her hand to help him up from the snow.

"Well, hello there. It's nice to meet you. My name is Cirno Iramasha and I'm the caretaker of these islands here."

With that introduction out of the way, the celestial hoped that the boy would be at ease and that her methods would have worked safely. As, there was no worse feeling than being unable to assist a soul. That served to hurt her angelic embodiment and Cirno did not wish to feel such pain today. She wanted to absolve it and help another soul. So, she proceeded with peering further into the boy's plight for the purpose of divulging into why he was here.

"Don't worry. I'll make sure you are taken care of here. We have many means for humans to recover after a journey like that. So why don't you come with me to the edge over there? I'd like to know your name and why you are here. You must have some sort of tale to tell because I can sense the pulsation flowing strongly in that right arm of yours."

Provided that the male was able to stand on his own two feet again, The Angel Of The Ice would then help the boy up from the snow. Then, after that, she would simply utter these simple words to him:

"Come. Follow me."

And with that, she would begin to motion for the male to follow behind her to a ledge nearby. Of which over viewed the new and improved scenery of her sacred summit. As, below the cliff side were many thousands of people beginning to call this place their home. Various structures were being constructed, numerous sources of power were being protected and it seemed some form of defense was being invested into this island. It was clear that major plans were underway and Cirno couldn't be happier with them.

So, when she sat down and let the breeze flow through her sapphire hair and dress, it was a moment of peace and fulfillment. Everything was going to be alright. That was the notion she was going to abide by. And that was the same train of thought she was going to instill within the boy and ensure that his future shun as bright as the sun. That was her duty for today.

Tired and fatigued from climbing the mountains, this was the harshest punishment he ever endured in comparison to the rest of what he did. However, his journey wasn't in vain either, for his exhaustion to seemingly.. fade away as if it was knocked away by a bat. A breath of energy seems to flood his body, and further upon glancing upwards from the previously fallen state he was once in after his journey, his eyes met this adult, someone he never seemed to have met before. It was different from what he had imagined from the tone of the broadcast he once heard, the sound of a little girl with a high-pitched voice from what he remembered. Touma couldn't exactly remember what she looked like, but the maturity and the aura this person has presented, especially her seemingly sweet tone to that of a mother's, it would find it hard who exactly was the one training those who is willing to arrive at the peak of the mountain. Maybe, this woman was the person's mother? He was quite confused but rather than letting his brain work it out, he'll just make a wild guess that he may be that girl's mother? Of course, he also might be hearing things wrong too. Probably, the broadcast's problem with picking up voices? He wasn't completely sure either but the gentle nature of this woman had really struck a different image of what he had thought from hearing the broadcast. A two, completely different tone and personality.

Either way, there was one thing that shocked him; and that was the replenishment of his energy. Not only his power did not affect this angelic healing process, it even did its work perfectly into replenishing his stamina at its peak. Here, he thought that his hand would ruin another day of someone trying to help him. Whatever method she was using, this woman must be skilled in directing her energy to heal the areas that is not under the direct influence of his Imagine Breaker that would null out the entire process and render it ineffective.

Cirno Iramasha? That name sounded a bit familiar but his memory does not seem to be able to point out who it was. With that aside, with his energy replenished back after an exhausting journey of climbing the mountains, he should stand back up soon with his own two legs without wasting too much time laying down once he feels that his legs are finally awake from their slumber of fatigue that was replenished by the Iramasha, since he did come up here to look for answers about the power of his right hand and the misfortunes that surrounds him. After all, he didn't come up here for no reason but his purpose seems slightly different from most purposes that pondered over this mountain's peak. He wasn't really here to become a hero or some main character in the story, because to him, Touma didn't want to be thought of as a hero, despite his complains about his misfortune and what his right hand brought to him, he didn't mind much. As long as he can help others and bring happiness to those around him, Touma didn't care how much misfortune he had to go through, rather than being fortunate of his own life and turning his back against those who need a hand.

He listened what Cirno had to say with his arrival on the peak, and when she lent her hand to him for stand back up, Touma hesitated at first, however, after a few moments of thought, he took a grip of her hand and pulled himself back up from the snow, and the cold floor that once where his fatigued body laid itself to rest during his arrival. Without saying a single word, he silenced himself for the entire time as he followed Cirno until their arrival to this rather.. calming place. A great view on the peak, with their heights on this mountain was tall enough to soar over the residences where people lives in. It was a warm view even to the eyes and the soul. And this is where they stopped their tracks, and when she sat down, whom is called Cirno Iramasha, the caretaker of the islands around them. This is the moment he opened up his mouth, first to answer her introduction from earlier ago and his reason of venturing up here in the first place, and then, comes along with his questions.

"Ah, my name is Touma Yu-.. Kamijou Touma."

Suddenly cutting off the sentence of his name, he was close of blurting out his actual identity of his ties with the Yuudeshi family, being Shadin's son. He couldn't afford of simply using the name 'Yuudeshi' in his introduction, it was just simply a life he want to live from using it unless he decides to make contact with them. He has his personal reasons of not using the name of his family and using the identity of his own, to Kamijou Touma, as his name.

"Well, I just come here to know what I am able to do. I'm not here to obtain some extraordinary power or anything, but I just want to obtain the ability to protect everyone. And to do that, you are the only hope I may be able to find to answer the mysterious power in my right hand. I know that i may be asking too much of you, but please, grant me that ability."

When it came off to his reasons to explain of his arrival here, his eyes seemingly diverted itself away from her. Touma's expression was filled with nothing but guilt and powerlessness. There were a few people that he failed to save, either because of his incapability to do so or because he simply didn't have enough power to save those who wanted him to stop them. Unlike the rest of the Yuudeshi family, Touma was born with no luck at all. Every single day of his life was like creating a plague of bad luck that could only bring harm to those around him, to the point of even burdening his family along. He knew that they didn't mind for such trivial reasons, however, the powerlessness within Touma and his inability to be of help to others struck him down. Of course, it was not Imagine Breaker's fault neither is his luck, but all to blame was to be born without the ability to protect everyone of those who he wished to save or to protect danger from. He didn't care if all he could do was only negating supernatural abilities, at the cost of forsaking his life, he would do at all cost to protect them. But that was the issue he had; Touma simply couldn't do that. He wouldn't lie either, as there were the days that he wished for more power so that he can have the ability to protect more people, but he cannot be too picky about it either, and should live his life as proud as possible, even if he did not have some special power with his bare hands. As the weakest, he still lived his life to the fullest. But again, everything went back to square one. Those with power can make changes to the world and protect lives that are precious to them and those without power would not be able to do anything to protect those dear to them. He didn't really want to be that helpless person, even at the cost of his life, he weighs his life to be lesser than those that are close to him. That was the idea, the life and the motto that he tried living with.

Gritting his teeth and clenching his fist, he breathed in to calm himself down first. It wasn't really the time to be all emotional about it either, since in front of a lady like that wasn't really cool at all. Again, Touma was clear of what he desires in life. So, he spat out something crystal clear from his mouth.

"Don't misunderstand me either. I don't really desire in becoming some hero or the beholder of Justice. I just want the ability to protect others and be more capable of saving people, no.. More capable of saving my friends with my bare hands. I'm sure you understand, right?"

Shrugging off everything of what happened earlier ago, he made his statement loud and clear, and this time, not letting his emotions get ahead of himself. Answering whatever question Cirno may have given, all he could do was to give a warm smile across his lips. He had suffered a lot in his childhood, treated differently from the rest even in the world where superpowers are common. It was his luck that made him different from the rest of those around him. He wasn't born with some fancy power to manipulate or create things, but born with a maddening bad luck and the ability to negate all supernatural abilities, powerful enough to even defy God. With that aside, he did still remember questions that he needed to ask to her ever since his arrival on the mountain. Approaching a bit closer to Cirno, his hand seems to adjust itself at a height somewhere below his chest, and stated one question:

"By the way, the girl who did the broadcast about training. Is she your little sister or daughter by any chance? She's like a little girl and has a squeaky voice. I came here to meet her since she did broadcast something about training and some other things."

And there, the unfortunate young man is about to have his fate turned around from here, in the search of his answer on this fateful mountain.

It was great to see that the young Touma decided to follow suit and take up the Angel's request to sit next to her. It pleased The Celestial because it showed an openness to suggestion and a hope that perhaps he would be willing to learn her lessons wholeheartedly. So, as he took his seat down by the ledge, The Angel of The Ice would turn her head next to the boy and give him quite the warm smile.

"Well it's nice to meet you Kamijou Touma. As you know, my name is Cirno Iramasha and I'm the Angel of The Ice."

While her tone was quite pleasant and placid, The Celestial couldn't help but notice the slight hesitation that the male had when speaking his name. Was it nervousness? Or, perhaps, he was hiding something? It was a curious slip-up, and one she may prod later on. For now, it wasn't too important.

What was important was the fact that the male started speaking of his desires and intents. Judging by the tone of his voice, the fluctuation of his energy and the way his body language appeared; Cirno assumed that he was telling the truth. So, based off these assumptions, The Angel was quite pleased to see a selfless desire in this human.

Why was she so happy to see that? Because to Cirno -- that is what a true hero was: a generous person who would go out of their way to help others with little to no manipulative motives. Thus, upon hearing that, she knew her powers could do great things for the latent light which dwelled inside the boy's soul.

"Do not worry. You aren't asking anything that isn't out of my power. What is more telling is your noble goal and I want to help you achieve that. So you have my hand in your pursuits."

With that said, The Angel of The Ice would then place her hand upon his right thigh and seek to comfort him through touch. Then, she would look him straight in the eyes and confirm to him this was the right path:

"Don't let yourself become stressed over your soul's intentions. Your heart knows what it desires and it is okay. You are more of a hero than you realize and I understand your ambition quite well. Relax."

As those words were uttered out of the mouth of the angel, they came off as rather serene, slow and steady as she sought to further induce a sense of relaxation and peace within the Yuudeshi to ease the turbulence that was felt within his spirit.

Granted, when this exchange of words and touch finished, The Angel of The Ice would pull back and observe what else the male had to say. And boy, was it surprising. The youth seemed to mistake Cirno for a mother or sister of some kind. As, during all of this time, she forgot the tones of voice between her immature form and mature state were quite different form one another. And given the fact that her appearance shifted as well, it was no wonder the boy was confused.

So, she promptly wished to clear up this air of mystery. The boy didn't deserve to be left in the dark like that. Therefore, she broke the silence with a stern cough before sheepishly looking at Touma.

"I'm not quite sure how else to break this, but that little girl you heard and saw? That....was me!"

Towards the end of Cirno's dialogue, her tone of speaking soon broke down and transitioned back to the sounds of a chipper, jovial and energetic young girl. After that moment, she poked her cheeks with each of her index finger and made a big smile in light of that childish aura pouring back into her.

"Uhm, It may be quite...errie...but I have different forms that I cycle through due to the nature of my powers. That was just my child state speaking to you, Touma....I apologize for the confusion...."

With another quick cough, she decompressed and oozed back to her quiet, timid and embarrassed self from earlier. But, Cirno hoped to turn the heels of this conversation away from that awkward subject and transition towards getting to the root of his training.

So, she would poke Touma's chest and point back at her to get the ball moving in the right direction again:

"...but, with that said, are you wholly open to my training? It is going to enter into vulnerable places of your mind, body and soul and I will require permission to access the strengths of your will, heart and spirit. Are you open to these terms?"

Slowly, but surely, Cirno's face shifted from it's shy and flustered expression to a more neutral and somewhat serious look. This is because she took these vows quite seriously; as they were immensely critical towards granting him the power he so sought. If he could not answer honestly and truthfully, then this whole session would be for not.

"If so....I can grant you your wings, Touma...."

And with that -- the path of The Yuudeshi's life was now in his hands. Would he take this flight of light, or would he descend and stay where he is? That was the dying question Cirno was curious to find out.

An adult? A child? It was drowning his mind with a flood of confusion, thinking if he was either being delusional or just not on his right mind at the moment. But the truth cannot be unseen, that voice, that tone, it was the exact same person. While the appearance remains unchanged, Touma was completely convinced that he has seen a child that went through an instant growth spurt to some refined adult as this. He can never understand the mysteries of this world that he has yet seen with his own eyes since this was merely the beginning of his own journey in this mountain. Sighing off his confused mind, his conclusion was to accept whatever's before him because he wasn't here to judge a person of its appearance in the first place. It was still a little relief that there was a change in pace since he was still a little surprised that a child would have this much of a growth in such a quick time. Milk, maybe? Or did she went through something gruesome that he didn't want to think about? Well, with what has been explained to him about different forms and cycles, Touma himself was not exactly the intellectual type to understand complicated things of the supernatural world, ending him up into a whole new world as his mind starts drifting off somewhere about things that may have caused her to have such an adult form.

Knock it off now, brain! Slapping himself back to reality of the situation, that was enough of complicated things for now. He did come here for a purpose afterall. Coming here just to drift himself off somewhere far away was not the intention at all in the first place. His ears continued to listen with what she could say with as much attention as he could put into her words, in an attempt on not missing out any important details that may be vital for his.. growth. What he could catch up with was the training that she spoke of. Ah, Touma knew that there was no shortcut in granting his wish. Not sure how scary the training was going to be, it would probably be extremely tough especially for someone who only has small experiences in combat since of course, he is just a human with no particular abilities than his Imagine Breaker.

Powers don't come and go on a whim. Touma knows for the fact that relying on others is a part of the learning process and requires trust to really experience growth for those wishes to come through. He doesn't want to be gifted with immeasurable power nor does he want some weapon that can grant him the power to destroy. Just something simple and easy, an ability that can allow him to save those that he was unable to protect before. Whether if it meant torture or walking through the fires of hell, as long as he return safely to his lifestyle and save those that he desires to protect? He would not be asking more than this if the training is meant to break his arms and legs. He was not going to take this for granted, and would bet on his life that if such ideal dream of his would be achieved, he will continue with the strong mentality of his to protect.

Touma smiled with full sincerity that he could pour out. The looks of his eyes changed from doubt to something.. strong. He knew the answer if he wanted to hatch out of the shell of powerlessness, and this was it. When his mouth opened, one wouldn't need to think about it at all, because it was obvious enough from his expression alone. Touma was pretty much.. ready.

"I am ready for anything you can help me with. Do whatever that you need to do for you to fulfill my selfish request, Miss Cirno."

That was his response. He knows he cannot become strong if he were to forever walk on his own steps and lift his own weight. To fulfill his wish to grant his ability to be able to protect everyone that he could, it would not be a shame to rely on others for help. While he may not see neither categorize himself as a hero at all, but really, he didn't need to carry that title just to protect those that are dear to him. Good or bad, he will break that illusion of theirs. This was a solid decision that he made, and nobody can change that from now.

Touma felt somewhat tense but relaxed, since it was his first time to have ever asked a favor. All he has to do at the moment was to let Cirno to do all the work she could to grant his selfish request. And when the sword came about to Cirno's hand, he nodded and smiled at her in response of her words, placing all of his trust onto the Iramasha without a fear of any harm from her at all. Touma knows clearly that her intentions are pure to help fulfill his request.

His left arm, right leg and left leg would be struck by the sword and at the same time, it would have felt like there is an odd feeling.. if he were to describe it. It wasn't bad but in a positive light. These limbs have an energized and lively feeling to it, as if it was now given a new purpose in life. It is not in a way that Touma can describe but that is the only way that he can really put it into words. It is a new 'power', so to speak. Though, it feels more like an expansion of Imagine Breaker as if it has connected with the rest of his body. There is one thing that worries him more than anything: Would his Imagine Breaker negate that power away from him?

If Touma were to cultivate this new power, there is always the possibility that it could harmonize with Imagine Breaker and someday, would have the power to even go against God itself. It may sound like a fairy tale dream but what has Imagine Breaker shown so far, that not even the most powerful supernatural ability could stop that right hand of his. After the whole thing was done, Touma was clearly exhausted.

But that won't be enough to stop his training here. Otherwise, his words from earlier ago would be nothing but an empty promise. No matter what kind of ability he is given with, weak or strong, as long as it grants him the ability to truly protect all of the lives he weighs on his shoulders, he will gladly embrace the truth.

Looking at Cirno, Touma realizes that he has one problem now. Unlike his Imagine Breaker that can passively negate anything supernatural that is thrown at him, he has absolutely zero experience when it comes to controlling a type of ability, especially when it requires a conscious effort from the mind to use it. From there, he knows that this is going to be an extremely tough training for Touma that doesn't have the ability to control an ability that needs active control. He doesn't know how to direct this 'energy' nor does he know where he could draw it from a part of his body. This kind of thing, he just can't understand a thing, goddamnit!

"Body of Aegis sounds really cool but I think i will stick to Imagine Breaker since it is like an expansion from my original ability, right?"

His tone was very calm, despite the strain he had after his other limbs was now able to work just like Imagine Breaker. Well, keeping its original name that he thought of would sound better than having something as cool as Body of Aegis since it sounds a bit too awkward and embarrassing for a normal highschool boy.

"I am ready!"

That confirmation was filled with strong tone and determination behind it. He does hope that this training doesn't come together with some sort of harsh punishment though..

This was going to be quite the problem for Touma over here. Considering that Imagine Breaker has always been out of his control to passively negate anything it touches, it has more than an involuntary action to stretch out his right hand against threats. With something so new like the Body of Aegis from his right hand, he knew that this is going to get difficult trying to think of actively using this power because to be honest, he never had any in the first place. Goosebumps came across his skin after receiving this new power that now resides in the rest of his limbs, while Touma may have bravely and confidently said that he was ready for training and so on, his face turned slightly pale when he saw what was coming at him; a wave of energy coming towards him.

In all honesty, his all-too-positive mind thought of this training as if what he has seen in the movies and television shows, you know, starting with physical training to cultivate both the body and mind, sitting under the waterfall and soon becoming the strongest man in the world. But oh boy, that ideal training and imagination really flew to the heavens when it began with a big boom. Reaching out his left hand, Touma tried all of his energy and focus into it, hoping that it would negate the wave of energy coming at him but it simply didn't work. He doesn't know how it works, how to control it nor how does he apply it. Unlike his reliance on Imagine Breaker's passive negation ability, it is extremely difficult to wield the Body of Aegis especially for Touma.

What does he do in this situation? Touma was tensing up. Without a clear sense or understanding how to use this power, all that came into mind was to charge in without a care in the world. Goddamnit!! That word rang as he simply shouted and sprinted towards the wave of energy before thrusting his left fist into it, accepting whatever consequences that may befall upon him. And the results? As much as he hates to disappoint Cirno, he failed to negate it. Without using his right hand to interfere, the energy overwhelmed his left hand that was incapable of putting any active negation effect simply because he had no idea how to use something that he find 'so complex' and blew him away from his position.

His body would visibly lie down on the ground once the smoke clears out, with his left hand can be seen to have taken most of the brunt when he impulsively thrusts into the wave of energy while leaving the rest of his body with only mild burns and scratches that did not do much of a significance. Touma is still conscious, that's for sure, laying down against the ground with a smile on his face. The pain may course throughout his left arm but this was to be expected, since it would be more than a miracle if he was able to negate it for no apparent reason as he has no idea how to use it. Some would call his action reckless and dangerous but he did it anyway. If he had cowered, ran or even cheated using his right hand, how can he save anyone? His only choice was to charge in and hope for the best that it took effect, and what came out was the result of his left hand that may be heavily damaged for taking it directly without any protection.

He laughed for a bit, with an unbroken smile on his face. Whether if Cirno came to help him up or not, he would still stand up on his own with his bare feet, only to light up with as much positivity as he could and said a simple sentence.

"I guess it didn't work the way I had expected. Haha. I hesitated for a bit since I didn't know how to use this new power the way I have used my right hand for. So, if you think it is your fault, don't blame yourself but my impulsive behavior. Now, let's try this again."
