A Tiger's Journey Empty A Tiger's Journey

How long had it been since he'd last made the journey to this place? It felt like a century had passed since he came here to awaken Suzaku. Byakko had told him to return here and meditate to seek him out. His frame found a spot as he set both zanpakuto down in front of him. His eyes closing now as he found his breathing pattern. Focusing in on himself and beginning to center himself. This was a key to mastering one's zanpakuto in many ways. But Tsubasa had done this so often to avoid things as the surrounding area began to vanish. Booming thunder and crackling lightning filled the area. As Tsubasa sat within his inner world now. The journey had led him to find a place within his world a tiger sat his glowing yellow eyes staring at him. Tsubasa gently reached out touching the fur coat of Byakko. The two had been close friends for a while as Tsubasa laid his frame back. Resting in the inner world was something he did so often. It tended to be a sanctuary from the madness around him. A place he could truly escape all of the poison in this world.

The two sat in silence not cutting to the chase as they enjoyed one another's company. This was Byakko's home and place, somewhere the two could converse without Suzaku. This wasn't a trip Tsubasa took lightly as the person he was. He made sure Karakura and everyone knew he was present. This area had been evacuated successfully for him to train alone. The trouble with his power was he'd gone so far that it was hard to find good foes. People he could spar and put his might against over and over. It was a hard life to live as someone who wished to protect others. He was in the middle of designing things and doing work. Byakko's message did concern him a great deal after all. Tsubasa's frame remained silent and still as he watched the storm. Echoing so loudly and soothing he could sleep here without trouble. His world was a place that was peaceful yet storming. Conflict seemed a logical choice for most to come to here. Tsubasa wasn't so loud or outspoken about things.

"Byakko." He said while his eyes were covered by his hair softly. Getting the tiger's attention as he broke the silence. Tsubasa wasn't in a hurry or a rush for anything here. He knew the importance of being patient in situations now. Of remembering his station and where he stood. Tsubasa didn't have the right to do many things as it wasn't within his authority. Some things weren't within this tiger's power. His dream from before was a forgotten memory entirely. To surpass Yamamoto, such a naive and childish ideal. But it still was something he desired. Someday to clash with Yamamoto in a battle and surpass him. To truly push beyond what people expected of a man to be capable of. "What is it that troubles you, friend, bringing me here must mean something is going on." He said explaining his reasoning somewhat to the Tiger. Byakko seemed to merely shake his head before that growl like voice came out. Raspy and rich in its tone as it came out.

"Tsubasa, you've changed and thus Suzaku was born...he's merely an immature zanpakuto..My evolution into my true state is because you rushed into it.It's time for you to embrace my power..to activate your techniques. To learn that I am a Tiger with many moves and skills as stars within the Heavens." He said finishing his sentence as Byakko turned his yellow eyes upon Tsubasa. A surprised expression slowly left his face as he understood. He'd spent so often running towards things that were wrong. Another mistake to his list but with his dear friend. Tsubasa now understood he'd made Suzaku but hurt Byakko. He truly couldn't fathom a better friend to be with him all this time. Byakko taught him only when he was prepared to learn things. Not when he demanded or wanted more power as he'd known that wasn't the way. It wasn't how things should be done ever for a person can cause so much damage to themselves. Tsubasa didn't know it as a young man and hurried towards destruction.

"I see, I'll fix it..thank you for letting me know, I am sorry that I have failed you Byakko." He said as the Tiger looked at him as he broke his mental focus finally. Tsubasa awake his eyes looking around as he picked up Suzaku gently. This was a blade filled with light and hope. Something that forged from his desire for power or a means. It was due to so many circumstances that he'd made that weapon. Creating it from what it was previously as he sighed looking at it. Tsubasa's hand gently touched the weapon as he felt the core pulsing and breathing. Tsubasa had an idea in mind as he spoke to Byakko and gave his thoughts."I will merge you into a single blade Byakko, you will be two swords now as you were meant to be.My failure I hope I don't repeat it sensei." He said as he began the process here in this place. It wouldn't require mastering the techniques as he breathed in a large breath of air. Tsubasa's hands began glowing brightly as the process began.

His digits gripped as lightning discharged around the area beginning to pour around Tsubasa's frame as his reiatsu was released. Tsubasa tapped into his true power so often locked away. Activating it caused the area to rumble and shake as he let a soft breath out. Control was the key here, he was merging his zanpakuto into a singular being. This would evolve Byakko into it's pure potential. Allowing his friend to reach his level and traverse the mistakes of the past. Suzaku was never meant to be. It was a mistake by a man seeking a quick solution instead of fixing it. Instead of fixing the matter at it's core and forging a new hope. Nothing needed to be so difficult or empty in answers. Everything had a purpose or a dream ahead of it. It didn't require some half assed practice or method involved in it. Tsubasa was simply fixing the issue as lightning and light poured from his weapons. His body was engulfed in raw power here. This wasn't going to end here even in the slightest.

Tsubasa's digits tightened around Suzaku as he felt it trembling beneath his grasp. Howling began to cry out as the weapon began changing into a different form of wakazashi. Tsubasa was merging the two blades to create Byakko's pure form. His katana was evolving as well. Becoming it's true state as it's powers simply grew enhanced greatly. He felt the shift as Suzaku's world within him collapsed and merged with Byakko. Tsubasa was of a skill that Byakko merely need reveal moves to him. He was skilled enough to pull them off with his skills alone. He looked down at the slight change to Byakku, the wakazashi was strange. The blade felt lighter and perhaps a bit stronger as he felt lightning crackle off his form. He'd need to be careful in the future when performing such things. Byakko had replaced Suzaku, or perhaps it was better to say devoured him. The tiger had eaten the Phoenix that once was. Devouring the world within in total and awakening as something.

Terrifying would be a good word to describe the being that Byakko had become. Hunger left Tsubasa as he didn't desire power that much. Tsubasa sat down his newly forged weapon waiting. His eyes closing as the dust settled in the area. Sharp and capable were the fang and claw of Byakko. It wasn't without a perfect reason or excuse they be drawn. The world around him began to fade into the darkness. Began to disappear as he awoke again within his inner world. He'd exhausted his energy a bit by doing that. Tsubasa would need rest in order to truly begin the process again. His eyes opened as Byakko stood before him. Lightning crackled through his fur and his body was massive. He was far larger now than previously. The spirit had gained strange glow around his body perhaps from the light. Tsubasa couldn't be sure as he didn't know how it worked. Byakko's true visage was something to behold almost celestial in its nature. Something that was beyond the simple imagination one could fathom.

Slowly that claw rose up and touched his forehead. A searing flash of pain through his mind. Memories and images were projected within his mind. Byakko didn't feel like speaking or wasting time this time around. Memories and training for unlocking the moves in question. Four total, each meant for a phase of release for him. Tsubasa didn't understand the potential for each one. He was beginning to understand that Byakko was as stated. A being that lived among the stars and had just as many moves. It was about understanding what you could come up with. Lightning was his purest conductor in all things before him. Tsubasa had made a name and reputation among all things as a warrior. Yggdrasil awaited him as he touched his forehead. He smiled a bit at the good job pet he seemed to get. Tsubasa and Byakko had their own special communication and were close. He was his teacher above all else and he wanted to please him. Their relationship wasn't so simple as he was just a wielder.

Tsubasa and Byakko made up a part of one another above all else. They were a unit that functioned together above all else. Tsubasa slipped his swords into his belt. The first stage was done and he could rest his energy for a bit. No need to remain here completely, but he did state he would be here for a bit. Tsubasa's frame walked over to the nearest tree sitting down. Finding a location he gently laid his head down as he inhaled deeply. It was time to rest as his chest flatten a bit as he laid on the ground. Tsubasa was thinking about the final evolution of his Shunko. The final transformation he felt lingering within him. Deep within he felt the tiger roaring inside of him. So many changes and things that had changed from a single event. Tsubasa didn't know exactly what to expect of it. His person project was gaining some momentum and time would require him to do something. He wanted to see Yggdrasil become something aside from a fantasy. He didn't know how to go about it, but his resolve was strong.

Tsubasa's mind slowly began to wander as he began to rest. Still alert and ready for combat at a moment's notice. Tsubasa could defend himself even when sleeping. His body was trained to the extent that such things weren't beyond his capabilities. This was a matter of training though in Karakura. So he doubted enemies would be present, Envy was away, though. So lowering his guard wasn't an option so he'd stay alerted. Keeping his ward up to see where people were. To keep track of any hostile intent or even the smallest signal of danger in the area. He would deal with it quickly and effectively. Tsubasa was here to train in a place no one would be at risk. So if someone did come in here to interfere with his cat nap. It was at their own risk they did so. Tsubasa didn't intend to really ever let his guard down. As he began to drift into a slumber state which let him rest his energy for a bit. He'd used a large amount to merge Byakko and Suzaku into this final form. It wasn't easy and rather tiring.

So far now the Tiger would rest for a night.

A Tiger's Journey Empty Re: A Tiger's Journey

Training within the dream was something he practiced, it was like his inner world. Tsubasa could train without damaging the area as he slept. Thinking on things of the four moves revealed to him by Byakko. Lightning was a power but so was metal that engraved itself into his soul. He was a master of both elements of this world. The metal reality that seemed to engulf and protect everything. His form didn't have a singular element to define. Slowly his scarlet eyes opened again as he'd made his journey the place was ready. It was time for him to push himself to a stage he'd rarely got to activate. Tsubasa sensed it every time he activated his shunko. A beast hungry on the edge of his mentality. Tsubasa could detect the beast within lingering for its escape. He'd heard stories about an animal surging around inside. The tiger within was seeking its release and he knew it. Slowly he stood up and set his zanpakuto's down. This wasn't going to be a simple endeavor controlling this form. He could sense how unstable it could be within the shadows. It lurked just beneath the surface as though it stalked him of all people. Tsubasa could only do a couple things in this situation, he would activate it and push further. He would drag it from it's hiding place and make it his own. He removed his clothing's top half slowly unwrapping his kimono leaving only the bottom there. This was done so as not to damage it too severely. His breath slowly exhaled as he released a bit of shunko from his mouth. The tiger's breathing as he felt it slowly push as a massive surge of shunko emerged. The ground splintering beneath him. He could feel it slipping slowly as he released a bestial sound not his own. This raspy growl escaped his lips and a shockwave of shunko electricity went out vaporizing things within a small perimeter around him. The white energy engulfed his body slowly as he began to change more and more. His eyes became a Tiger's and yellow as he shot forward punching a building.

The building disintegrated from the force and impact. He had no control it was a beast running wild in this place. His spiritual power was dominating this area and destroying it. As he figured a shunko blast from his mouth. Firing the attack at the line of buildings them getting annihilated in the process. The grown was burned with energy as he began destroying his surroundings. The white glow grew brighter as he slipped further into his own mind. The bestial fervor that was coming out wasn't something he expected. Yanking the creature from the bush released his primal urges. A side of him long since buried and changed within. His mouth breathed out as a tail of shunko began to form. This transformation was taxing at best and control definitely wasn't his. Tsubasa's orbs of yellow scanned the area inquisitively. Finding the answer and such with Byakko was good. But this form was taking a toll on him mentally as he struggled to free himself and gain control. Tsubasa's hand slammed into the ground creating a massive shockwave and crater.

His nails dug into the earth as he winced as he brought the hand to his head. This activation wasn't going well, he was fighting for control. These urges to destroy and rip the entire Karakura apart. This power wasn't safe at all, it couldn't be controlled entirely. His bloodlust and desire to kill people without remorse remained. Had he touched his zanpakuto's like this he didn't know what would happen. Slowly he fell to the ground and writhed in pain as he ripped control back. It was so hard for him to regain his composure. His body straightened as muscles tightened in response. Every movement made a bigger hole in the ground. This District looked like a meteor shower had hit it a hundred times. Tsubasa's body went tense and then limp as his vision went black for a moment. Slowly after a moment, he awoke again as he smelled smoke and could see fires raging around this area. Destruction was left in its wake as he laid there.

What kind of transformation was this he unearthed, could it be controlled. Such a raw power though he needed it under his control. The beast that lingered within, the true pale rider a killer. Someone with outstanding control and composure that existed. Why could he not find a way to reign in this monster? Tsubasa's frame sat up as he felt tired from it. But somehow the Tiger form had taken little energy out of him. Tsubasa's frame stood up slowly as he walked to his zanpakuto and spare clothing. Dressing he leaned against the tree now thinking. Back to the drawing board was an understatement in this situation. The form was unstable and maybe that on purpose. He couldn't do anything to overcome it, could he? He needed to think and remember what he could. He got momentary control of the animal within himself. Tiger wasn't something he could do without trying. That mode or form whatever one called it. Savage wasn't the only thing about it. It was tapping into a power that could do some massive damage.

Tsubasa's gaze around the area leads him to believe this entire thing may have been foolish. He'd not seen this type of destruction since that incident within the Gotei. He'd done his best to avoid things and use his power wisely. This destruction was something almost outside of the entire process he'd imagined. Escape was unlikely for those in the area. The lightning surges had left marks on the land itself. He could still see sparks from the sheer amount of electricity from the Shunko. That was something he'd been capable of but didn't do. He considered it bad form to show just how much you could do. Tsubasa glanced at his hand as he saw no damage from that. Going limp and losing for a moment to the beast within. Such was the life of a man with a raging torrent within himself. But no point in trying to do this without going back to it. His breathing exhaled as he got up and walked towards the center again. Breathing slowly escaped his lips as shunko powered up.

He felt it strike again the change and desire to transform into it again. "Not this time, I won't let you....wrestle control...I'm...Tsubasa...Unabara..This ...power..is mine....And I am the beast you should fear....I WILL NOT LOSE!" He released a massive growling voice as he stood straight. This sent out a shockwave that destroyed surrounding buildings. Hitting even the barrier putting stress upon it. The shockwave would go out into the Karakura as a breeze. Tsubasa's breathing was heavy as he chuckled his voice somewhat demonic. This form, he felt it in his muscles and body. Strength was here a raw power that was primal and hidden. Tsubasa could tap into this again. He wasn't losing control to this damn kitten in him again. He refused to do so, he didn't care if he died. He would maintain control. His eyes had become almost like a hollow. Color had vanished turning black with yellow tiger eyes glaring out. He felt the pulsing Shunko come under his control. Slowly the white sparks faded more.

His skin was pale as death and black markings were along his arms. Claws had grown in his fingernails as he looked at the form closely. Stripes like a tiger so now the question was how long could he maintain this transformation. He walked over and sat down slowly a shunko like tail vanishing. He crossed his legs and brought his hands against one another beginning meditation. Slowly calming himself and his heart down as his senses experienced an increase. Tsubasa could use this transformation as an ace in the whole. But he knew of that Shikokai move that was taught to him. Byakko called it the true final form. That other thing was just staged one. Raging Rajinto into Form, that was the name given to it. He didn't know what to think of that as a total it seemed like something else. His senses were sharper and he could smell and detect things. Hearing also had increased along with a taste for fish. But that was all understandable. To the untrained eye, Tsubasa seemed to of turned into a hollow.

Hell even from his perspective the energy output felt similar. It was strange had undergone a transformation to this extent. He slowly let a breath out as the white shunko energy poured out. Physically transformation through containing the energy. This was as far as Shunko could go. To an extent and train it within your control. Some people would reach this conclusion eventually. He struggled to keep the rage within his being. The anger and desire for killing and total slaughter. Blood being dropped along the ground without remorse. Mercy was something the strong were entitled to above all else. Tsubasa didn't believe in it when he was younger. But knew he could afford it, these thoughts were poison. Dipped in something to try and poison him into a darker self. He would certainly need to combat this later. Tsubasa released the transformation now as his skin seemed to return to its normal colors. Stripes slowly vanished and his teeth returned to normal.

Tsubasa's transformation specialty was something kept for a later period. This was an answer to a question that lingered in the darkness of the mind. Slowly his eyes returned as he blinked slightly. Feeling his senses go back to normal. He laid down as he felt sweat pour down his body now. Losing wasn't an acceptable outcome in his mind ever. Bowing down to the belief or practice that you'd lost the fight. That was stupid and just a man's way of bowing out. He knew that in his own way he would succeed with time. Tsubasa would rage and fight against the machine before him. Able to comprehend and grow within his potential. This was but the beginning as so much more existed within the future for him. It wasn't like the world was smaller due to him being the leader of something. Or that answers came easy for anything. Tsubasa was still himself and capable of doing many things. His brow trickled with sweat as he exhaled. Throwing out a Hell Butterfly he was getting closer to the answer. Closer to finding the clue that made Yamamoto what he was.

That unrestrained monster he needed to fight him once. To see for himself just how potent that was. How strong was that legendary blade that existed? He didn't plan on finding out everything at once, though. He owned Ibiki an explanation for the destruction wrought here. He'd show her the form he guessed eventually. So she could witness what was a transformation that came with some perks. He didn't detect any abnormalities for the most part. The transformation was a boon though it did feel hard to control. Like his own speed and power would throw him off with things. He didn't know how else to describe the strength that seemed to be there. Only one thing was closer from all of it. This was a step forward, with everything he'd done. Tsubasa had believed in this belief always. Always forward, never backward. That was the practice that was firm in his mind. All people were capable of this and going above and beyond.
