» Item Description: Resolve Orb is a small sphere that is white in color and created from the spiritual residue of Ibiki's energy. This is meant to encapsulate the essence of Resolve Force within this object of will. So, with that said, Ibiki can create these Resolve Orbs to be as big as a skull, or as small as a diamond or grain of rice.

No matter the size, the objective is clear: sharpen and enhance will.

That simple phrase is what this orb was made for. The user is required to attach this item to themselves and allow for Ibiki's power to further resonate within them. This is so that there will be a reduced chance of complications when Ibiki either initiates or continues training with someone. As this object will feed off their willpower, begin to harmonize with it and slowly enhance the users own willpower.

However, this will only occur when they are in circumstances that actually push them to use it. For instance: if they were in a fight that did not push themselves, then they wouldn't be able to reap the training. Since, if they fought someone much weaker than themselves and they didn't prove to be a fight where they had to push their limits, then this item would see no effects. If they happened to fight against someone overwhelming strong, but gave out in a single post? Then it still would not have effect as there wouldn't be enough time to for it to come into effect.

Instead, Resolve Orb requires the user to at least sustain themselves through focused effort throughout a duration of three posts or more to see benefits. They can notice an additional source of power flowing from the orb. As this can account for 1/4 of the user's power and allow for them another pool of energy to siphon from. They will also begin to feel a sense of enlightened vigor, but this will often only last for three posts with a two post cooldown where they have to rely on their own will to reactivate it again.

So it can be a useful tool, but this is more suited towards developing their overall willpower and is designed to be used in threads with Ibiki or on assignments she has her pupils go under. As it will also allow her greater insight into their spirit and what drives them as a person to better focus in on her training.
