» Item Description: These catridges are kind of small, about the size of a 12 gauge shotgun slug. They come in magazines of five, and can either be loaded into the Magister Staff [prototype pending] or used separately, held in the person's hand and fed a small thread of spiritual power.

Each magazine comes in several different ranges. Starting at the 20s clip, it increases to 40s, 60s, 80s, and then finally 90s. Each cartridge can cast a single Kido up to their respective ratings [20s can cast any kido from 1 to 29] and then run dry. This can allow even those without skill in Kido to have some magical backup in case they require it.

The only difference is, that so far the 80s and 90s cartridges do not work with the normal size of the cartridge, and so are of such great size that only two can fit into one magazine. The 90s cartridge also require the power of someone [with grudging admittance] stronger than the Arch-Magister, and so are massively more expensive than the rest of the line.

A further problem, is that two magazines can interfere and distort each other, rendering them useless, if not outright exploding on the person's hip, making them rather counter intuitive. Extremely expensive shielding can be added to the lining of the magazines, but this only reduces the interference, and allows two magazines to be carried at the same time.
