Demon Spell

  • Name: Æon Etchings
  • Type: Other
  • Prayer: With this power bestowed from Touketsu, I shall weve you into the infinite æons.
  • Effects:This spell costs a moderate amount of energy to use. 1-2 is the minimum requirement to use this spell.

    The user fires a thin, black ray, the ray being as thin as a strand of hair. The ray glows black, so it won't be that difficult to see during the day. The ray moves at one meter per second, and can be stretched out for two meters macimum. After that, another ray is created at the end of the first one, the ray being positiond so a vertex is made between the two rays. This must be done whenever a new ray is made. Although the entire arrangement of rays form a jagged pattern, it still travels towards the enemy. The user doesn't have to stay put after casting the spell, as the spell shall continue on its own.

    The secret is that these rays aren't really rays at all, but entire wormholes that have been shrunken to a microscopic level, anything relatively tiny enough to enter it enduring at last a year's worth of traveling just to get out the other end. This is prevented by surrounding them in an equally thin stasis field which hyperacclerates the time within the wormholes so that anything caught inside of it can be ejected just as instantaneously as it entered, while, at the same time, shrinking anything that makes contact with the tip of the wormhole (this includes vertexes) into a microscopic size, capeable of fitting inside the wormhole.

    Anything, whether it be an object, or a person, makes contact with the ray, will be immediately transported from one end of the assembly of rays to the other. The spaces between the rays (and thus the stasis fields) are very infintesimal, meaning that the very instant that person exits the first ray, he will instantly return to normal size for a small fraction of a second, only to imediately shrink in just as little time, entering the next ray.
    The time it takes to travel from ray to ray (including time to shrink and return to normal size) is one tenth of a millesecond. Anyone outside of the ray should be able to see the person, or object, "flickering" in the vertexes of the line for a short instant, as if teleporting towards every elbow at an extremely rapid pace. This ends when the person is ejected out to the end of the arrangement of rays, returning back to normal size for good.

    The beam does not harm the opponent in any way whatsoever, and is used more as a complex means of transportation. Objects and projectiles can slo be transported this way. The ability for the stasis field to srink objects, however, is limited. 30 feet in height, or 20 feet in length, or 20 feet in width is the maximum size that can be shrunk down to fit inside the wormhole. Anything larger than that cannot be transported.
  • Notes:I know that this is a very complex spell, which is why I gave much detail into making it. The shrinking and accelerated time remains in the stasis field, meaning that once the person is ejected from the end of the ray, time will resume back to normal for him. The accelerated time is only used as a means of getting through the wormholes faster. The ray is very flexible, meaning that it can bend, retract, and curve at any moment. If anything larger than the aformentioned proportions collides with the ray, the ray will not shrink it. The ray will simply mend itself out of the way, similar to how pressing a finger into a straw causes it to bend to the side so that the finger can bypass it. The more rays made atop one ahoter, the more energy used all together. It should eb easy to avoid, due to its slow speed, but can be difficult to see during nightime. They ray gives off a strong sense of pressure, to compensate for this. This ray cannot be used to lodge people inside of objects, althogh the person can be ejected right next to the object. If a ray so happens to be right next to a steel wall, the person who goes through the ray will not be ejected inside that steel wall, but on the steel wall instead. The ray shall retract itself enough so there is enough space for that person to return to normal size without being inserted, or smashed against the wall. The rays cannot pierce any object or projectile whatsover (done to prevent people from exiting inside of a projectile, or object).

    10 rays for tier 0-3+ and up.

    1 meter per second for 1-2
    3 meters per second for 0-5
    5 meters per second for tier 0-3 and up.

    20 rays for 0-3 and up
    Life of the rays before they expire.(This happens after THE LAST RAY is made for the arrangement)
