Saburo City -- no man's land. As the shimmering light of the moon shined down on the cold outskirts of the town, numerous creatures of hollow and demonic origin lingered in the abyss of forest and building. However, what was lurking further within was far worse than any mere stray monster.

A potent force was in the air. So, this creature of the demon realm slithered in the depth of the night. While she was here to survey the Earth from any abnormalities, the likes of Algos sensed something far tastier in the atmosphere. It was a familiar presence she discerned from distorted memories of Calypso's pretty little head. Vividly, the scene of her fellow demon brethren being slaughtered played in her mind and she'd remember the callous nature of Midori from her own point of view.

Hence, there was an amused chuckle that was given out into the night. No matter where the Sugiuran was, the woman would feel this ominous feeling of death and suffering filling the darkened ruins. However, there was no malice found in her body yet. Oh no. She was quite aware of Midori's pitiful state of being with her bonds to Ulv, after all. Instead, she wanted to make use of this most precious woman.

So, in a single breath, The Princess of Demons called out to the cold night:

"Midori Sugiura: step forward and meet your judgment."

"Step forward and meet my judgment, eh?"

Midori could only chuckle as she reflected on how bizarre her life was becoming. From reuniting with Ulv and learning of her state of being to meeting the Queen of Chaya - Inami Asthavon. The presence of the ruin was undeniable. It stood out like a sore thumb.

She was not familiar with the force nor the voice that called out. It felt overwhelmingly powerful. There were countless strays of hollows and demons that seemed as if they were running away from the presence. Midori had not particularly wanted to find herself here.

She was merely sightseeing and happened to step upon the city of Saburo. To be honest, that's all she found herself doing in her time away from Karakura or Minatumi. To find peace of mind and improve as a warrior.

Peace of mind training having been interrupted, Midori walked forward to meet the presence - no, the woman who ordered her to face her. Her gaze widened ever so slightly as she laid eyes upon Algos Astahvon. The familiar face who, based on the reports she learned of from Minatumi harbor, sought to destroy the town and kill Ulv Auber herself. Midori clicked her tongue. Huh. Lady Luck is not smiling fondly on her today. She was prepared to face her head-on but violence was not the answer. She would not retaliate unless she truly needed to.

"Algos, is it? One of the members of the Astahvon family? I don't know what you want with me but whatever It is, do you mind filling me in?"

In a burst of blackness, the world around them grew darker than the eve itself. Throughout the shade, Algos's blood eyes broke the dark and with it brought her thunderous demonic energy gripping the vicinity. In doing so, she dragged the two of them straight into a pocket dimension where her ilk flowed like a miasma of smothering pollution seeking to take the air out of Midori's lungs if it weren't for her own mercy allowing the woman air to breathe.

"Calypso, Calypso, Calypso. It always comes back to Calypso, doesn't it?"

Tapping her tongue with many clicks of the mouth, the demoness stood face to face with Midori as her face turned into a dazed smile before regaining her sense of control.

"I'm quite sure you are aware of the massacre you put my fellow kin through, hm? I do recall the pain it caused her when overlooking the memories of my beloved sister."

Then, without warning, a single tendril wrapped around Midori's waist that came from the spine of Algos. As it became drenched in scarlet demonic energy, The Demon gripped tighter and slammed the woman into a thick, hot wall as her might sought to force the woman into a position of submission.

"Do you not think you should face atonement for the slaughtering of my kin even after we have long since left control of power over this realm?"
