Blood Kuchiki

Takehiko Kuchiki
おだ たつや

He'd gotten a call that a Kuchiki member was hurt. His eyes opened from where he'd been. Lacking sleep due to the outcome that had been many days. He arrived noticing the familiar face. So it was Keiko who got hurt, his eyes looked over her now. Her injuries were pretty bad for a sparring session. He didn't demand answers to who did this or any cliches. Takehiko set down his medical kit and looked towards the nurses. "Use Shinten if she stirs.I'll examine her injuries and treat them as needed." His voice came across monotone having yet to fix it. Takehiko didn't know much about her damages beyond distance inspection. The nose was broken, likely several minor fractures inside. Takehiko slowly took hold of a need formed by Kaido. Gently he put it on her body sending a type of pulse through her. It was problematic she'd taken a beating. Not something small by any stretch of the imagination. This wouldn't be a quick fix by any means for him. The nose was the first issue for him.

Gently touching his hands to her head. His fingertips aligning themselves along her nose. The breaks were numerous but he needed to set it straight first. A crooked nose wouldn't look good for Keiko. She couldn't even do the moonwalk at parties. His hands carefully corrected her noses posture. Back to where it had been now. He got the sense her lungs had tasted blood as well. Takehiko using deft hands created a green thread and a small needle. Making a few quick motions he began connecting her bones in her nose together. Being gentle as he could with her body using a Kaido thread to treat her. Other issues were here a concussion was just an obvious result. Poor judgment on when this should have ended clearly. Takehiko's medical experience told him this fight was over before. She couldn't even see as blood flooded her eyes. He cut the thread using his pink finger. Moving on towards her eyes now. Making sure no damage was done to her eyeballs themselves. He glanced at each of them. Creating a small light on his index finger. Checking to see if her pupil reacted.

Takehiko's next concern was the lungs now. This injury and the concussion were concerning. Blood leaking into the lungs generally meant an internal injury. So to mean something of that nature. Would require a higher-end Kaido. He did not monitor the time as he looked her over now. He would check for any breaks or other things. Before he applied his Kido to her injuries themselves. Takehiko thought to himself now as he brought his hand down. As though cupping something in his digits. Slowly a green metal object came to it. Forming a lantern with a green flame flickering. He set down the holder removing the flame from the lantern. Holding green fire in his hands he focused and empowered the Kaido. Bringing its strength up to a level 33 for this. To allow it to do more then what it normally did. Slowly he cupped the flame in his palm like a small cinder. Letting it fall on her skin.

Suddenly through her body and even her eyes, a green flicker would emerge. Pulsing through her body on the inside as it began healing her. This technique had been empowered allowing to treat the broken bones and internal injuries. Pushing them back into place now. Resetting the damages she'd taken, though she would still need rest. Takehiko wasn't a miracle worker even though he fixed her injuries. She would need to take a break from hard sparring. But she'd not listen to him he imaged. No one ever listened to the Doctor in his experiences. His hands ran along with the air above her. Coaxing the flames of green higher as it was clearly restoring her energy and treating her rapidly. Her wounds would take about a week to fully recover. Slowly he raised his hand into the air above her as the green fire emerged. Pulling out bandages he wrapped them around her head slowly. Settling on a few areas that would have them. Her nose had a few bandages across it meant to keep it stable. Takehiko left her to go work on medicine.

Mostly pain killers for his relative, before he fell asleep in a chair. To the people's amazement and his own unknown. Takehiko had passed out here from exhaustion yet again. She would be coming around soon without Shiten in use. But even without that Takehiko slept soundly in a chair with a book in his lap.

Kuchiki Keiko

It was only shortly after the incident itself that Takehiko came by. Same day, at most a couple hours later. Plenty of people had come and gone, and maybe only 30 minutes ago did Keiko's conscience return to her. That awareness didn't do her much good, however; the only thing it did was give her more suffering, as every inch of her body felt like creaking--above her waistline. For whatever reason, anything below her waist felt like it just didn't exist. She hadn't the will to give that much thought, however. All her focus was on belting out screams from the pain everywhere else. Her nose was still clogged with blood, now coagulating and drying out. The nurses cleared out her mouth, thankfully, so she breath while laying fully down. Bandages were wrapped around her head and eyes. The scabbing of blood in her sockets meant that they could scratch against her eyes if she moved them around too much, so they were sure to keep her eyes shut.

The nurses were pumping excessive amounts of painkillers into her system, just short of any lethal amount. Reason being, it never seemed to stop her pain. Even anesthetics that should've knocked her out had no effect. Closer inspection revealed that all the solutions pumped into her body were discarded or consumed by another, darker spiritual presence inside her. It was still an ambiguous entity, and still subtle, but it was riddled with a negative presence.

Over time, though the pain still kept her from ever having the will to speak or act, she was still acclimating by just the slightest. It was enough for her to comprehend the things people were saying around her, though it was difficult to piece together what they meant. At some point she heard someone talking about a hollow. Did they think she was attacked by a hollow? No... that's not what happened. It was... it was that woman....

Keiko's body shuddered, and that movement sent sharp pains running all across her body again, another yelp escaping her mouth. By now, Keiko's throat was damaged as well, torn from her incessant cries. Somewhere inbetween those cries, she heard a familiar voice. She couldn't quite tell who it was, but it was certainly male, and that thought alone sent another shudder through her body. A shock of primal fear settled in her heart, that emotion fueling the budding of a mass of negative energy in her inner world. Even through all her pain, the girl had to distance herself from the voice, and she pleaded along the way.

"N-no... ahh.... p-please... n-no males, p-please.... ahh.."

Her voice was hoarse, barely intelligible, but the nurses could hear. Aside from Takehiko, they asked for all the males in the infirmary to leave, bare the males also incapacitated.

The entrance of the needle in her body sent Keiko reeling, which naturally didn't make things any better. She winced in pain from it poking into her, serving to only let the needle dig in further, and thereby increase the pain. The pulse from the needle would inform Takehiko of all the problems nonetheless. The part of the skull over the frontal lobe had a spider-fracture, hanging on slightly together before shattering. Her nose was also broken, though definitely the least of her issues. Further south, Keiko's ribs were broken in several spots, the fragments of her ribs thankfully not piercing through her lungs, but the jagged shards did cause a bit of internal hemorrhaging. Further down, at the top of the lumbar section, her spine was snapped. This was the reason she couldn't feel anything beyond her waist. Any other damage was significantly minor, enough to heal on its own.

He'd also note, however, that a lot of this damage was being sustained. Naturally, doctors and nurses in the infirmary already did their best to attend to Keiko to no avail. There was a spiritual energy interfering with healing kidous and even their machinery. Takehiko would be met with much the same. The nose correction worked, thankfully, but Keiko soon recognised that the hands working on her were that of a mans, and in response, a flare of spiritual energy lashed out at Takehiko, riddled with negativity. IT was hard to tell with half her face covered, but Keiko's expression was clearly fearful.

No!! NO!! STOP, PLEASE! ACKH!"

The sudden movement and interruption to the nose work startled the scabbing, and blood ran from her nose again. Her screams were so loud and hoarse, she couldn't help but cough afterwards.

Blood Kuchiki

Takehiko Kuchiki
おだ たつや

He stepped back a bit as winced from the energy she struck him with. He walked towards her now as he rested his hands by his side. "Alright, easy Keiko..it's me Takehiko..the guy you hate and beat in sparring." He said his voice lost its monotone for now. A gentle voice as he looked at her looking over her body now. She didn't want him to touch her that was fine he supposed in this case. He touched his hand to his zanpakuto softly sighing as he knew what it meant. He was going to be out of commission for a while again. "I'm trying to heal you, but if you don't want me to touch you...I have a way..it uses my zanpakuto powers. " Takehiko didn't get angry with the women as he observed what happened. She was overwhelming the spiritual tranquilizer. A less duality one would do for later. He did as requested and stopped and gave her a moment to breathe. " Now, watch me closely..I'm not going to touch you or do anything to you. You can stay clothed and no men will touch you." He said it calmly as he stepped back a bit.

His hand came to his zanpakuto now gently pulling it free. "My zanpakuto lets me convert blood into healing. The more I let it have the more it will heal you. I don't have to touch you or be near you for it..alright?" Normally this required contact of his blade upon the person's body. Takehiko wasn't pushing his luck. She woke up during a complicated portion of his work. He couldn't touch her. Because she didn't trust men and hated them. He didn't know how to fix it, holding her hand was likely to get poor results. He considered for a moment his next course of action. Releasing the real shape of his zanpakuto could scare her. Which meant he turned his back for a moment suppressing his reiatsu down. "Drink Chi no miru." He felt the puncture of his hand wrapping a bandage around it. And hiding the wrist insertion from her now as he held the blade. It did not drip with blood and fangs over its features.

He would need to ask the Captain Commander for more pay for this. The medical team did not make enough. He turned pointing his sword towards her as a crimson light formed around her. In terms of a sphere now feeling like a mother's embrace. Takehiko was sure his uncle would be upset about this. Everything got back to him in the end. It was for the Kuchiki family he did it. The glow intensifies as Takehiko's frame back more slouched. Using this form of his zanpakuto was painful. But three pints of blood to repair the damages done. Had she not been so scared of him. Maybe it could have been done easier next time around. His hand came across the surface of his zanpakuto now. Using it as a rest almost for his arm as he felt sluggish. Inside her body, the spine reconnected and pieced itself together. The pain wouldn't flood her systems due to the nature of his zanpakuto. Takehiko would be enduring that for her. His body ached as he watched her slowly restored now.

Each injury was taken care of this wasn't a miracle in a jar. It came at the price of his health and such. Takehiko stumbled backward his head sweating as his zanpakuto finished the treatment. Two of the nurses caught him as his zanpakuto clanged against the floor. Keiko's injuries had been mended by the sacrifice of his blood. His zanpakuto could mend broken bones even bring those nearly dead back. But it put Takehiko in a state anytime he used its form. "Don't...over...do it." He said unable to move for the moment. Something had to change about him going forward. He couldn't rely on Chi no Miru. Even if his health didn't matter he needed to do more, not collapse from one. From one session, that was a problem he couldn't abide by.

Kuchiki Keiko

The fear on her face hadn't subsided, but knowing who it was helped her calm down. She didn't like Takehiko for a couple reasons, but he was definitely far better to be around than some completely unknown man. To a degree, she could at least be a little comfortable with him, even if she didn't enjoy his presence. The pain and confusion still stuck, so her guard was hi, but she wasn't shying away as much.

Keiko couldn't see, but when Takehiko said to watch him, she at least turned her head in the direction of his voice. As if to escape from the pain and distract herself, she tried her best to concentrate on his voice and tune everything else out. With little warning, a sensation filled her body. She couldn't feel what was happening, but the lashing out of the negative energy in her sparked pain again. It wasn't from the injury, but the conflict of the energy of Takehiko's zanpakuto and the other spirit within. Keiko screamed out again in reaction, wriggling her upper body about and contorting itself in awkward angles. The strength of Takehiko's zanpakuto won out, and once the conflict ended, the negative spirit subsided. The break in her spine was reconnecting, but feeling had yet to return, so Keiko was unaware of it.

In fact, even the feeling of pain throughout other portions of her body wasn't returning. Her throat didn't feel shredded, the rips and hemorrhaging in her chest went away, even her nose and skull were fixed. She still couldn't do much with her eyes, as there was nothing wrong with them, just that internal scabbing meant she had to keep her eyes closed to prevent any injury to them. And with all things said, a stillness was brought to Keiko.

This entire time she was steeling her focus and will, desperately trying to cope with all the troubles. Now that a great host of those problems were a non-issue, things felt... silent. It wasn't silent, no doubt, there were still nurses and doctors and patients moving around and talking in the infirmary, but that felt like just the wind blowing over a stilled pond.

Keiko fell into the pond.

She could see. Her eyes were closed, but in the pond, light returned to her. Her eyes were working and open, no bandages around them. It felt like she was in a different place altogether. The details of this place were difficult to ascertain--everything felt immediately forgettable and blurred. In this place, Keiko was sitting on the floor. Her eyesight returned, but she still couldn't feel anything below her waist. Keiko looked down to inspect this and confirm it, and in response she could only bite her lower lip.

Then, her eyes were drawn upward. She looked forward to see a large, bubbling mass of pure darkness. Occasionally, white protrusions came out, like bone fragments. At some point, the apparition of a skull missing the mandible appeared, just for a split second. Reflexively, Keiko leaned back in reaction, and in doing so she fell back out of the pond, back into reality. No, not reality. Back into slumber.

The fatigue built up overwhelmed the girl. As soon as she was healed, Keiko passed out, the excessive amount of sedatives finally working and putting her body to sleep forcibly. For now, like Takehiko, she was truly resting.
