Aku is seen as sadistic. Aku is indifferent about any matters related to causing pain, even if it were towards long time comrades. He sees the inability to carry out orders or kill as an unforgivable weakness. Aku has a fierce desire for immortality and galactic rule, a facet of his bitter resentment over his long-term weakness as a human. Aku's personality changes from a sadistic killer to a vengeful anti-hero, obsessed with becoming stronger than anyone else. Because of his arrogance, attitude and past wrong doings Aku gains a lot of disdain from those around him. He has an inflated sense of superiority, holding himself above nearly everybody he encounters.

He is prone to making weak jokes/puns, and is easily frustrated. He also seems to think that bald people are annoying and are a displeasure to work with. It also seems that he doesn't like admitting that he needs help. He treats people with very little respect.

History: Aku was born as "Jin Yaris" in Karakura town on Jan 1, 2160. He was regarded by his aloof parents as a burden from birth, and given horrible treatment for his entire life. From childhood, he was viewed as a sadist. His early childhood activities included torturing animals, strangling random children, and antagonizing adults.

Some may blame it on the parents, they never treated him with respect or caring, only cold disinterest. In school, Jin was obviously a bit of a loner. His tendency to harm people and his superior attitude made kids want nothing to do with him. This disheartened the young Jin, and made him more vicious and cocky. In high school, he resolved himself to starting over, and even ended up with a circle of friends and a girlfriend. Although, during one party, the loud music set off his anger and he murdered half a dozen kids, turning the other students away from him instantly and assuring his single life. Why did no one call the police? They were scared of him.

Eventually, the principal gave in after enough complaints. The police were called, Aku was restrained, and the boy was sent to prison at sixteen years old for murder, animal cruelty, and aggravated assault.

Jump four years of prison time and a twenty-year-old, much more muscular Jin was chosen, pulled out of his cell, to assist in the Mars colonization efforts. He was fascinated at first, but more relieved that he didn't have to rot in his cell... he could just die in space.

Upon arrival, he heard whispers of a strange object that the group that had come directly before him had found. Something called a "Bacillus"? Whatever, it didn't matter to him. Until he finally saw it..

He was instantly captivated by the thing, and when he heard that it was bestowing power... he had to get his hands on it. One night, he snuck out of his bunk and into the area where it was kept. He grabbed hold of the object and, instantly, passed out. When he woke, he was back on earth next to an escape pod and a note from some guy named Sireshi. The note said only this:

"Good luck, enjoy the power, I certainly did."

With that, Jin renamed himself. Christening himself "Aku Seiko Kyōryokuna" after what he set himself to be, and heading off into the world to cause chaos.

Personal Abilities:

Destructo Disk – A razor sharp disk of energy.

Bang Beam – A favorite move of Aku's, Aku points his index finger like a child pretending to shoot a gun and then fires a small but deadly red bolt of energy out of his finger.

20% Release: Shinka Kazu Ichi



In this form, Aku gains the above appearance, while also gaining a golden aura around him.

Galick Gun – Aku bends to the side while holding the back of his hands parallel to each other, conducting reiatsu that discharges a concentrated, powerful beam.

Double Galick Cannon – This technique involves him putting both his hands on his opponents chest followed by a huge energy blast at point blank range.

Big Bang Attack – Aku discharges a medium-sized ball of reiatsu in his hand. On impact, this technique causes a violent explosion.

Big Bang Cannon – A beam version of the Big Bang Attack

Big Bang Storm – A rapid-fired version of the Big Bang Cannon

Cosmic Cannon – Aku creates a superheated, blazing sphere, surrounding his own hand. He then throws it like a grenade and it burns any opponent whom it comes in contact with.

Dirty Fireworks – Aku punches the enemy's stomach, stunning them before being punched into the air before several explosions go off near them at the command of Aku pointing his index and middle fingers.

40% Release: Shinka Kazu Ni



Energy Rings – Aku shoots out strong rings made of pure reiatsu to bind his opponents by the limbs for further assaults.

60% Release: Shinka Kazu San



Maximum Flasher – First, Aku draws his right hand back to his right side and charges a yellow energy sphere. Then, he brings his hand forward and fires the energy sphere in the form of an energy wave at the opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage.

80% Release: Shinka Kazu Shi



Hellzone Grenade – Aku fires several energy spheres around the opponent and and controls them to be fired at the opponent, doing a large amount of damage.

100% Release: Shinka Kazu Go



Galaxy Breaker – Aku charges up and fires a powerful white energy blast from his chest at his opponent.

Crimson Galick Gun – a red-colored, more powerful version of the Galick Gun used by Aku.

Aku also gains the ability of minor Telekenesis (inanimate objects only, and nothing over a ton) in this form.
