HENREX ASTILLON | STORMSWORD

He chuckled softly at her first response -- something he admittedly already knew. He knew full well that she was smart, but an overthinker? Definitely not. Something she also wasn't however, was subtle -- something that became very apparent as she blurted out her wanting the scenario to end differently. Facepalming, he sighed, shaking his head as she stood up and walked over to her things.

"That's not it, Nanashi. I'm not gay, I just...didn't want it."

It was as simple as that. Nevertheless, he regained his composure, silently walking over to the kitchen and looking into the cabinets, before turning back to Nanashi, resting against the countertop. He had remembered she wanted to make her own recipe of stir fry with the groceries they had.

"Didn't you want to make stir fry? I did want to give your recipe a try, after all."

Nanashi paused for a moment and looked over her shoulder at the Captain. He wasn't? Well that sucked, the idea that he was gay actually sat better with her. But no, he just didn't want her. "Alright, ow. But fair enough." She murmured, puffing her cheeks a bit before rolling her shoulders a bit before turning to face Henrex.

"I mean. Yea. I was considering that. Uh...." Well it WOULD be pretty lame if she said that she had lost the mood for it. Yea, she may as well still give it a try. She stuck her tongue out and grumbled a bit. "Alright, so uhhh Stirfry." She murmured, rubbing the side of her neck as she headed toward the kitchen. "Wanna help?:" She ventured, promptly peeling an apron from her bag.

YUUTO HISAKAWA | STORMSWORD

Normally, he would have said more, told her that it didn't have anything to do with her personally, it was just...a variety of reasons, some of which were probably only complicated because he was overthinking it, that made him not desire this right now. But, it probably wouldn't help and only make the situation more awkward.

So, with a quiet sigh, he offered a warm smile, concealing how frustrated and upset he was at how awkward this had become. He wouldn't have been surprised if she wasn't all for it now -- but, she pulled an apron from her bag. So, he removed himself from the counter, nodding lightly.

"Of course."

He didn't have an apron, but he was prepared to help with whatever she would need for this.
