» Hanya Jincho-ryu (半夜人屠 , Midnight Manslaying Style): Kanae is a master of fighting with iaijutsu, the art of drawing and striking with one's sword in a single fluid motion. This is her way of taking iaijutsu and putting her own spin on it. Theoretically, Hanya Jincho-ryu is a defensive style of fighting, though in practice it can be used very aggressively. By combining a well-timed dodge with an iaijutsu counterattack, Kanae is able to avoid injury and take advantage of her opponents' openings. She has been known to use Dantōdai Koroshi or its Bankai form as the counterattack, proving especially dangerous due to typically being able to land the acid directly on her target if successful.

» Sazaeta (刻餌食, Minced Feed]: Unlike her normal counterattacks, this is meant to cause maximum and widespread damage across a person's entire body. Sazaeta is consists of Kanae drawing her weapon and slashing her target with many strikes so quick they appear practically simultaneous. Similar to the unique Senmaioroshi technique, Sazaeta can split its victim into many tiny pieces, though it doesn't end there; by releasing even a small amount of her Zanpakuto's acid with each strike, Kanae can shower a foe in a torrent of highly caustic acid to either empower her cuts or cause significant damage to someone especially durable against sword attacks.

» In-Character Summary: Since receiving the above Hazard ranks Kanae has defeated a captain to take his position, developed a fledgling relationship with the Duvalier group, and has increased her Speed from Advanced to Elite. I'm not sure if staff thinks her Hazard Ratings should change at all.
