COMBAT THREAD OF THE SEASON

I. What's OTS?

Here, we go back over the last three months and pick out different finalists to discern who was the best of the season in certain categories. These nominations, in particular, are for the months of March, April, and May.

This particular OTS category is for the Combat Thread of the Season. Nominate the combat thread that got your blood pumping, felt like it had some serious stakes, or just in general made you feel like there was a real good fight going down.

II. OTS Rules

1. Each member can only submit one nomination per category, so think hard on it.

Plenty of good fights at the Seaside, and a tough choice to make, but there is a gravity to this one that just about nudges it ahead. Both women give it their all and the battle ends in a suitably climactic fashion.

Two top dog Arrancar. Fun beginning to thread. Fun Spar. Interesting Choreo. Fun techniques being thrown back and forth. The list can go on and on, but it is for these various reasons that I nominate this thread for Combat of the Season. Kizuna and Safira have always been characters that interest me a great a deal, and that is why I feel this deserves its time in the spotlight.

This was a fun, yet also equally brutal fight to read. Entertaining exchanges between the characters, both in dialogue and blows, and these two did not hold back. Seeing Frost be so hyped about this thread made me want to read it, and doing so never failed to disappoint. Great job, guys!

What Lurks Below

Besides the first two posts this was just about all done in the actual season, great fight between two giga niggas, relevant to the ongoing site plot, great conclusion with both sides taking a bit of an L, and Yuuto coming out a vizard for his troubles. It's that real sense of damn, this guy kicked my ass and I won't be the same after it but literally.

Did I also mention this is where Yuuto officially got his new name? Yeah. Good on you lads.
