Liltotto Lamperd

How barbaric of an upbringing. She almost felt sorry for him, but if she held guilt for every soul that drove themselves off a cliff, she'd run out of room for care. There was nothing more for her to say, nothing she could do would convince this guy of anything. Calmly, she went over to the deer she had slain, gingerly casting a net formed of her own energies onto the ground and rolling the creature atop the construct, beginning to drag the beast back to camp without another word.

Though this wasn't the conclusion she wanted to reach, it would bring a weight from her chest; he sounded not much unlike the children she grew up with, fought alongside, that she watched perish and fall to their own hubris. They couldn't see any different, they didn't think there would be another way. All she saw before her was a walking reminder of those times.

But the Vandenreich was different now. Stories such as that were more of a dying gasp of a bloody history, than commonplace. There was nothing more she wanted or could say here - decidedly silent for the rest of the outing. All it did was light a determination in her that none else would end up in his position, with his mindset, with such senselessly bloodied hands.
