A Night's Venture Empty A Night's Venture

Sat Oct 31, 2015 5:31 pm

Artist:Serge Tabachnikov - Song:The Duck Song ~GGRY Edition~ - Word Count: --

The dusk gave way to night, shadows falling over the time capsule that was Saburo City. The infrastructure was near that of a ruins after the wars long since past, but the city still clung to life, too stubborn to fade to oblivion. The place remained plagued by consecutive attacks by rogues, both Hollow and demonic that sought the meek defenses off the city as easy prey. Above even that were the people themselves, especially in the town's center. With high crime rats on the interior and the constant threat of the new age of monsters from other worlds, it made one wonder why some still chose to call this place a home. Perhaps it was a longing for what the city once resembled before chaos took hold of it, a thought that one day the state of disrepair would come to be restored. No matter what their reasons may be, to be devoted enough to stay in the city with such poor conditions recently was admirable. Fortunately for that night, one figure decided to make one of their nightly patrols in the forgotten Hell.

A blur could be seen moving from one building to the next in various part of Saburo. It leaped from the side of one structure to the roof of another, covering the entirety of the area in only a few minutes. Throughout the night when things were at there worst, the figure descended from the skyscrapers at the first sight of ravenous monstrosities and whatever criminal activity made itself readily apparent in the open streets of the Town Square. They appeared only for a moment, resolving things with a single motion of their fist. Small explosions could be heard where they made they stepped in, ripples of kinetic energy stretching throughout the ruined city and many of the Hollows and Demon-kind that appeared throughout the night swiftly knocked unconscious before it was even apparent what happened.

Half-way into the night, it came to an end. The sudden appearances and the constantly moving figure over the roof tops coming to a pause in the outskirts of the city. Finally at rest after all their work thus far, it became easier to tell what they were. A man stood at the top of a large roof on a small twenty-first century style skyscraper. It was tall enough to look over most of the Saburo and watch it ins its entirety. His attire was unorthodox, fitting a depiction of a bizarre style from seventeenth century Japan with some modern touches. Most notably was the out-of-place Remington model shotgun strapped to his back, not only a clash of era with the rest of the outfit, but an older, highly out-of-date weapon from the second world war as well. Two black sheaths were also attached to his waist, each carrying a curved sword that resonated with an unusually dense amount of spiritual power Two duel-white scarves trailed behind his shoulders, swaying to the left from the slow wind that passed through the sky.

Though simply a common Vanguard soldier as most were concerned, the man known as Dellapero Grance had gone on many of these ventures through less-protected cities across the world on his own to quell the chaos that ravages them despite a somewhat chaotic nature to his own volition. He stretched his arms, looking over the undead world below. The place stirred up a mix of feelings in his head. It was bothersome seeing the place in such poor condition, especially in this era of technological prosperity. Still, the sight of a twenty-first century reminder brought up a bit of nostalgia for his days in the U.S and the earlier years before the spiritual realms were as intimately entwined with the world of the living. They always had some interactions, but only in the recent centuries were they as closely knit as they are now.

" Jeez, things really are a mess around here!" The Human spoke to himself. He had been keeping things in order for a few hours now, his interference in the usually grim environment of Saburo having caught some attention from the locals and bringing most internal problems to a halt for now. What few Hollows remained were of the weaker variety, unable to get through the basic defenses that remained in tact to protect the bulk of the population. He could afford some time to rest for awhile, if any further actions were even needed for the remainder of the night after the montage of quick beatings he brought to the more malevolent souls in the city. Depending how things progressed he might even have time to make it to another city and take care of whatever ailments were present there as well. He'd need to make a note of this place to bring up later with Azure. The city wasn't too far from karakura itself, so getting some more proper defenses and enforcement put in place shouldn't be too difficult a task.

Though that was only if everything went as planned, and the new world had a habit of suddenly bringing about the most unexpected events out of the void, especially in Dellapero's case. He wondered if anything out of the ordinary would come to be through the remaining night. So far it had only been the mundane routine, but there were always highlights that made each passing day worth recollection.

Ruins, rubble and broken people -- what a lovable sight! The Queen of Demons was enjoying her little tour of Japan and all the views it provided. It was bizarre how the country could go from having some of the most impressive technological structures and cities in the globe to -- wait. Well, that's not true. Shadow Fall's was CLEARLY better, but it was an admirable attempt, hehehe. None the less, it was crazy how you could go from total technological wonder to third world ruins depending on where you ended up in Japan. You wouldn't see that in her kingdom. Nope, nope, nope.

So as she twirled and pranced around the decay of a once flourishing town, the cloaked Queen in all black snickered and giggled as she skipped about her enemies terrority. There was a sudden rush that came with being a sneaky little devil and lurking about in the night. After all, a demon's true power is always fabled to be at it's peak at night; but the mood of The Empress seemed to sky rocket and reach into a high as the shadows of the evening empowered her mind and gave her pure pleasure.

Fun, fun, fun.

Wonder, wonder, wonder.

Feel good, feel good, feel good.

That's all The Demoness could think of and feel as her body was in complete bliss. So, her aura was nothing but jovial and ready to pounce in and converse with whatever lost soul she'd come across in these barren and deprived lands.

Ehhhh -- let's take flight!

With a snap of her finger, the veiled demon forged a puffy black cloud and rode it into the heavens to get a better aerial view of things. Sure, she could just fly easily enough, but sometimes it was nice to just set back and take in the view. Therefore, she would lay down on her stomach, place each of her hands beneath her chin and dangle her legs in the air as she hovered around the ruins of Saburo City with a curious eye.

Boring, fat, too skinny, dull, stupid.

Those words came into mind as she started scanning the first view beings her spiritual perception picked up. Eventually, these shallow thoughts continued until -- OH MAMA, THAT ENERGY IS HOT! Mmmmm, yes! There was a dense cluster of energy that stood out from all the run of the mill mooks in the area. She simply MUST play and poke at whatever source of power this was!

Therefore, at the speed of darkness, the puffy little ball of demonic shadows fluttered and took off at the utmost of swiftness to the location of The Lone Vanguardian member. And, like a chill in winter, a frigid air would curl up the spine of the muscular figure and a demonic presence would undoubtedly go off on his sensors. Though, before that point, the slithery Demoness would attempt to sneak up from behind and "glomp" his neck from behind while still levitating on her bloated cloud of darkness.

"Oh mai, s'ugah~ I didn't know a backwards country like 'dis had 'dat many buck, strapin' men in it. Well, hello, hello~"

With a lick of his neck, and clenching of his hair, the flirtatious demon sniffed his face and caressed with her cheek; giving blatant disregard for his personal space and enjoying the aroma all for her own. There was just something about a well toned man that made The Demoness want to consume and devour his flesh. Hehehehe~

"I don't have a single clear who ya are hun, but you are going to love who I am: the name is Mana Asthavon and you've been bitten by the ultimate creature of the night, dear~"

With a sinister snicker and another kiss of the cheek, The Royal Demoness leaned back and observed the reaction from the human male. Would he enjoy these advances? Attempt to fight back against them? Or go into an utter frenzy? The choices were oh-so interesting, but it was become apparent by the passing day that this Queeny here was growing more -- horny -- without her beloved Ashlei to sedate that sexual desire. So maybe it meant something, maybe it didn't; but as the embodiment of all things wicked, one would have to think that the sin of sex would be pretty high up on her wants. And, without that partner no where to be seen, she would eventually find it in other places~

There was a thought about what unorthodox event might cross the lone Vanguard operative. That thought did not remain just such for very long. In only a matter of seconds the publicly mundane soldier would be met by one that earned scorn and fear from many across the globe, an entity commanding the strongest legion of the damned in existence. A woman with power easily able to wipe out entire cities in the blink of an eye with only the slightest effort and the embodiment of madness given form. It was just about bizarre enough to meet the quota. How it all came about was the icing on the cake.

Dellapero looked over the city, seeing things become somewhat tranquil after his quick series of interventions.. It was safe to say his work was done here; or at least it would have been. He was practically knocked out of his internal monologue, an unknown figure rapidly approaching the man from behind and latching their arms around his neck. Accompanying the sudden debut of the unseen soul was a spine-tingling chill and a demonic presence vastly more potent than any of the fodder he had dealt with earlier in the night. He was caught off guard, though the lack of any sort of attack or strangling severed the thought of it just being one of the common spawn of the underworld. There was something to the presence they exuded that interested him.

When her accent-laced words grazed his ear, Grance slowly turned his head to get some visual on the woman behind him. But rather than focus on her, his thoughts drifted to the cloud she rested on...Was that a nimbus? Were they actually a thing now? That was something he needed to get if so! He'd thought this kind of thing would be big news, but he hadn't even heard a word about it until seeing it. Azure was going to hear about this!..Or think about it, he could send over a mind text right now if he wanted. Like before, this train of thought was shattered by the equally sudden advances of the Demon queen. The lick upon his flesh, the sniffing, either she was a Vampire or was even more spontaneous on impulse than even himself!

"Hey there. You certainly know how to make a first impression! Nice to meet ya' cutie." Though she had plenty of odd mannerisms, it was only fitting to return one compliment for another. The dots connected when the mysterious figure introduced herself as none other than Mana..Mana..He knew that name. Where did he recall it though? Something to do with Shadowfall...It took him a moment, but even his lack of keeping track could only keep him oblivious from so many things. To think the Demon Queen would show up here of all places! He remained relaxed though, the information serving as nothing more but a conversation piece to the man. He turned to face her completely

"Mana? Huh, didn't think I'd meet you until some point in a war! So what is a pretty overlord of destruction like you doing all the way out here? Thought you were chilling like a villain over in Europe." Though she was the epitome of what the Vanguard was trying to take down, he detested the idea of shunning people without seeing their nature first hand, even in an extreme case like hers. If need be he knew he could defend himself well enough if things went down that path anyway. He spoke back up, taking a half-sarcastic and dramatic tone to his voice. One thing needed to be addressed before anything else, something so important it could change the entire nature of their conversations outcome; making the first bad joke regarding his name.

"And not knowing anything about me? That is a fatal error! I am Dell, bringer of below-average technology, system crashes, and minor inconveniences! I thought you would be aware of something that vile." He paused, waiting a few seconds for some kind of half-hearted retort or a brief silence. "But anyway, I'm Dellapero. Just your friendly neighborhood Superhuman keeping stuff in check once in awhile. "

A lot of things flooded his mind, various self-imposed questions on what other odd traits the Demon Queen had to display and if his own verbal tactics proved more effective than the mundane. Though why was she here to begin with? They were close enough to karakura to get there in a single dash. Unless being so close to the enemy is what they were going for. It didn't seem far-fetched from something he intended on doing at a whim at some point,. So long as he could deduce there weren't going tol be any large scale issues at her hand, everything would turn out dandy.

Artist: The Birthday Massacre - Song: I Think We're Alone Now - Word Count: 862

Ohohoho~

The boy had teeth? Fun, fun.

Those were the initial thoughts which split through the Manic Mistress Of The Night. It seemed that this fellow drenched in gold, tan and muscles had a sense of humor and wasn't as dull, dry and hostile as his fellow Vanguardian chums.

What? Did you think Mana was as dim as a broken light bulb in a dark, wet cave? The Maiden of Madness may of had questionable sanity and logic, but her instincts were as keen and sharp as an axe. Sure, the guy was one of the most hidden bastards in that organization, but it didn't take a rocket scientist to deduce that those do-gooders were undoubtedly going to step up their patrol after the recent events that have unfolded across the planet. And since she did not sense anything that indicated this male was a Ziamichi, or Vizard, it was safe to assume, if nothing else, he was Vanguard in relation.

Fun stuff, fun stuff~

"Well, mah' boy, it's good to see yah' know ya' royalty."

Texan twang still going strong, The Queeny gave a kiss upon his nose and gave a sinister cackle as the brazen male turned to meet the empress of the satanic face to face. Tilting her head from side to side, The Wicked Ruler of The West admired the physique of the male and licked her lips once more as she savored his energy. It was not one she'd not easily forget. After all -- there was something holy about she just so wished to corrupt~

"I'm as free as a bird in the skies, s'ugah. I go where I want, when I want, how I want. It's just what a Queen does, don'tcha kno'?"

With a wink of her eye, the cloud of darkness she laid herself out upon started to purr sweet sounds of faint screams, haunted cries and damning howls at the male. It sounded as if the poor thing was dying, but it was just absorbing the chaotic and illogical frequency of these two meeting. By all logic: Mana should have attacked here and now. Yet -- she didn't. What point was there? She just wanted to indulge in a good thing. Nuffin' wrong with that, right?

"'Besides, ya' could say I'm doing a little sight seeing, hehehe."

Which -- wasn't entirely off. The Empress of Evil needed to overview what her competition was up to, right? So why not handle that with a little -- observation -- and fun?

So, with The Queen's Emerald gaze fixated on the golden champ before her, she would simply giggle and indulge a bit more in her festive activities after having a taste for the male's humor, flesh and energy.

"Why do ya' think I keep here fastah' than a mosquito to a blood suckin' contest? I have a knack fer pickin' up sinister and wicked energies, darlin'. The vileness is all upon ya'~"

From one motion, to the next; the body of Mana moved without thought and pulled itself across the chains of darkness and discord around them. In this way, while speaking, numerous tongues would lick, kiss and caress the muscles across the male's entire body. Contorting, morphing and shifting; the adjustable state of the demoness's body allowed her to have every orifice of this satanic body become devoured in black tongues for seconds at a time. When finished speaking, she'd simply emerge with a devilish grin across Mana's face as she hissed and felt a rush surge down that putrid spine of hers.

"Ya taste just like brownies n' warm milk~ I can just EAT you up!"

Those eyes -- they shimmered and shined like some of the finest forest hued gems in the universe. Surely she was enjoyin' herself a bit too much. With laughs, cackles and shade blushes across her pale face; The Queen was in a festive mood tonight and laid herself back upon the cloud to control herse-- aw who we are kiddin'? The Manic Vixen just laughed harder than before! At least -- prior to her kissing him straight on the lips without second warning.

"Oohhhhhhhh? So you are the keepa' of balance in this here region, s'ugah? Ya could've fooled me!"

Snickering, The Demoness would then snap her fingers and watch as many tiles on the building around them -- came too life! With horns, screaming mouths, claws and large limbs; these stone monsters of madness roared and started running about the town scaring folks left and right as they gained sentience from their rigid slumber and terrorized the planet. Through another wave of the hand, the echoes of lunatic laughter echoed across the city and a sense of un-even madness pressed down upon him.

"Shhhhhhhhhhhhh~ Ya' should quit all that checkin' and juss' relax with me in the cluster~"

Putting her right index finger on the lip of Della, The Queen would grin and utter one last statement:

"Whaddaya' say, hot stuff? Wanna' come to this demon's lair~?"

A Night's Venture Empty Re: A Night's Venture

Artist:Serge Tabachnikov - Song:The Duck Song ~GGRY Edition~ - Word Count: 1337 --

When Dellapero first had the thought of something unorthodox taking place that night, something this bizarre isn't what he had in mind. Even by his standards, not only meeting the Queen of Demons out of the blue, but the way things were progressing seemed like an im possibility a moment ago. He was going to roll with it though.

"Usually don't bother keeping track of stuff like that, but with how many reminders I get about people to watch out for and probably fight later, it eventually sticks!"

Especially after becoming an unknown, he had way too many reminders of who everyone of any importance in Shadowfall was. He even had more of a recollection toward them than the branch leaders of his own organization. It was as they always said though, better to keep an enemy even closer than your friends and all that! That statement was going to be tested to its limits this night, wasn't it? It definitely seemed to be going that way. He couldn't quite tell what her motives were for being here though. Sure, she found some interest in him that much was clear with the frequent kissing and flirting, but what about the city in general drew the mad god here to begin with? He'd have plenty of time to find out before the night was through.

"Fair enough. Just hope ya' aren't here to cause any problems while i'm on guard. Long as you do that you can do whatever you want. "

He had a similar mind set on things, even planning on visiting the heart of Europe at some point on whim..Well, if not for all the barriers and extra secruity in place with the rising tensions between Shadowfall and the Vanguard. That was a bit of a detriment on things. He blinked, the faint sounds of the black cloud mimicking that of the gates of hell themselves being opem. Why was the nimbus crying out in pain now?..Actually, since when did nimbus make any noises at all? The authenticity of it wasn't that great, the color was even off!...Or maybe, just maybe it wasn't a nimbus at all. Just a cloud of concentrated evil that gave off the sounds off the damned as it floated over the landscape. Fortunately clouds were not people, so this didn't bother him more than bringing up a quick mental note.

"Hope the sights are to ya' liking then. They certainly are to me. "

Despite their natural opposition to each other from their place in the tides, Dellapero always wanted a chance to try to understand the madness in people like the Demon Queen. Getting a picture of it was the best way to do anything about it in the future when times of peaceful banter were less of a common luxury. The satanic throne adorned in black was quite the looker herself too. It was a shame she was the epitome of darkness and destruction. All-in-all things were going well so far though. Aside the straight-forward attitude and screaming cloud abomination, nothing was a miss in their encounter.

That didn't remain true for very long. With someone like Mana, things were destined to get weirder the more the conversation progressed. His eyes raised slightly at the sudden contortions and morphing of her body. The dozens of tongues forming from her body and pressing against his flesh, it seemed like something from a weird horror movie; only less weird art design an an even weirder construct of reality. He tensed up a bit at the sudden act and the odd feeling it spread across his skin, still transitioning mind sets from a daily patrol to the exotic encounter this was turning out to be. It couldn't get much weirder than this though, right? To the demon queen's words and constant snickering after the ordeal, he put on the play of a nervous chuckle.

"Brownies? I always thought Humans were supposed to taste like chicken. Weird change to be made to the transition of a Superhuman, but it doesn't sound too bad. "

He also had the creeping thought that her later comment was a tad more literal than its usual context. Eating people wouldn't be all that surprising for a Demon, but he could handle himself if anything like that popped up in the near future. In any type of scenario the dangers of interacting so casually with one of the most powerful forces in the universe posed many risks, but what was life without a few gambles once in awhile? Grance looked into the madness-filled eyes of the Demoness, the building amusement from her games apparent alongside the manic laughter bursting from her throat. In another spontaneous act, a quick kiss shared between them. None of this he really had a problem with, but things were progressing a lot faster than he was used to in these kinds of situations. His mind's pacing was all contorted on how yo approach things. It lead to only one possible solution' completely forget everything he knew about timing things and just go with his instincts.

Dellapero blinked at another oddity as soon as Mana made that quick -snap-. He turned his head to the distorted sounds of shifting tiles, the formerly inanimate pieces being given form and culminating into small monstrosities. He -just- finished clearing out the troublemakers around town, and now more of them were being thrown into the mix! He sighed,. turning back to Mana, only to be shushed before he could make an effort to speak. The maddening power resonating from the Danava intensified in those next few moments. It was almost like a minor headache trying to peck at his head with the vibe of sinister darkness thrown into each agitating pulse. The Human stepped to the right, turned around and swung one of his arms around the mad Queen's shoulders, his head turned toward her while still having a slight view of the city below.

"Sounds like fun. I just finished the night's patrol and was waiting for something to happen up here..Wouldn't mind giving ya' one of the highlights of your week..But I can't really head off now with those mini-Demons out and about messing with the city. Mind reversing that? Then we can head off. Quicker that way than me going all over the place to knock the demon magic out of them" Though they were just tiles, he didn't know for sure if they were harmless or not. He doubted she'd comply right after releasing them on creation just a few seconds ago, but it was worth a shot.

Cheeky, cheeky~!

That was the first thought which passed through the shattered and twisted mindscape of Mana's head. So, in return, she would give a wicked witch's laugh and playfully flick the nose of Dellapero. While, in the process, causing many cackling bats with big mouths and emerald eyes to come flocking out of her dreaded dresses sleeve. Every move this woman made seemed to ripple, contort and churn the universe into a wonderful array of chaos~!

It was oh so fun~!

"My oh my, s'ugah! If that's the case, I'll be sure to cause such a ruckus ya' won't have any choice BUT to pay ME ALL THE ATTENTION! How about THAT, darlin'?"

There was a razor-sharp grin given in return to The Golden Champ as the vile aura of madness that cycled around The Demon Queen reacted and gave off an echoing laugh. Thousands upon thousands of voices could be heard giggling, snickering, chuckling, laughing and hollering with the utmost of joy as they tapped in, devoured and consumed the manic sense of pleasure and ecstasy this Danava of Lunacy generated with her mere presence.

This chaotic flow of air would then break, disperse and scatter across the city like a downpour of absolute giddy and lunatic based joy! As, soon, very soon, the sounds of the towns folk laughing, crying and screaming in the streets would echo like a sympathy of pure frenzy and mania. Of course, after her leaving, they would turn back to normal; but she wanted the night life to boosted and let these stiff souls LIVE A LITTLE! Even if they had no reason to be happy, many of the towns folk would just find themselves shedding tears of crazed joy; which is all The Demoness wished to hear as the vibrations of madness and chaos raddled across the four corners of the ruined city.

"Problems? With MOI? Heavens no, babe! I'm just here to shake 'em, shake 'em, shake 'em and wriggle these hips of mine into a good time!"

Giving a wink of the eye, and bop of her hips against the side of ol' Della, The Demoness gave off an explosion of maniacal air around the two. In that single motion released many sorts black, green and white hearts that scattered about in the distance and made fireworks of demonic taint. For, in the heavens above, groaning cries of the the dead roared across the landscape and many sorts of cackling gremlins scattered down to the earth -- only to poof into balls of skeleton-shaped clouds.

Such a tease, isn't she? What? You thought she was going to destroy this city with those moves? Hehehe.

"Oh yes! I certainly painted this landscape to my liking. I feel like that Bob Ross fella' with all the different hues of lovely mania and cheeriness I colored this world in. Don't ya just feel the LOVE in the air? I DO, S'UGAH!"

While relishing the taste of human skin against the lips of her essence, The Demon Queen seemed to be giving a truly ridiculous laugh and shaked with uncontrolled joy as her essence savored the flavor of rich human spirit against its satanic lips. It was spicy, rasp and now turning hot with how much purity, will and desire to do good had been infused into the PERCEIVED values of Della's soul. Against her wicked, tainted and chaotic soul -- it was like eating one of those nauseously thick, fat and fiery burrito's with the extra, extra, EXTRA hot sauce.

So, to this end, is why steam would exit out of the nostrils and mouth of The Demoness as her face drooled over with a emerald flush. As, in this moment, her taste to ravage this world was beginning to be fed the further she indulged on this night of madness. With the pressing of her hands against her chest, The Empress Of The Vile stuck her tongue out and watched it extend down to her tummy as she gave a lively, and very, demonic grin and cackle back at him.

"Okay, okay! Maybe I lied, s'ugah! Ya taste more like a mean Mexican burrito!"

Snickering, such lies were harmless, right? Right!

It's why she would then cup his chin, shake it and make the waves of irritation and worry be cast to the side as he had his concerns show with the way his body became tense and rigid in the sight of her maddening display of chaos and lunacy. Lighten up, have a laugh and enjoy the view: that's what her aura of depravity whispered to the bold flare of Dellapero's soul.

So, to that sentiment, The Queen of The Mad would let out another laugh, float backwards, lay down on her satanic nimbus and motion with her finger for him to follow her:

"Okay, okay~ Ya got me. I'll stop if you come with me, s'ug."

With another snap of her fingers would a vortex of gem and shade open. Throwing herself backwards into the void came at the cost of a high whirlwind of influence spreading throughout the town. This would then suck up her minions, the emerald mist and all of the aura of madness straight into her own little portal. And, if she had her way -- The Golden Vanguard Warrior to!

All of it would come crashing down and fall into various pits of nothingness. Since, for those of the living, like Mana' N' Della, the intent was to have a straight forward wormhole deliver them to the pit of The Demoness's domain: The Palace of London. Home Sweet Home. That is where this was all leading. There was no telling where things were going to end on this night, but The Empress Of The Night didn't care. All she was looking for was a good time, laughs and something interesting to raddle on about for the next day or so.

Thus, without a care, she'd yearn for him to follow and continue this night of craziness at another venue!

There were some things even Dellapero found a bit on the odd side. The wicked laughter and the complete destruction of personal space he was used to with the number of close encounters he'd had. The swarm of bats, the ever present veil of madness that cascaded over the city and the ever growing number of apocalyptic visuals that took over the sky were something else though. As the swarm spilled from the Demon Queen's sleeves, he quickly snatched one of the mutated abominations of nature form the air! He carefully grasped it by the wings, looking over it curiously. Were these creations of her own twisted power or beasts conjured from Hell itself? He released the fiend back into the night alongside the others with a shrug. They seemed harmless enough! His gaze turned back to what was probably the most dangerous person he had ever met in his ventures, returning her words just as casually as he would to anyone else.

" Oh? No need to worry! You'll get plenty of attention at this rate. Not every night I get the chance to meet such an eccentric person!"

The woman was unlike anyone else the vanguard Operative had ever met, that was for damn sure. He had encountered dozens that were a few screws loose, heck he could qualify under that banner himself. The scale her power twisted the realm around her in an oddly artistic fit of magic and necromancy was something else though. It transcended the environment and even bent the will of the people in the city streets below to uncontrolled laughter. It was a little unsettling, but entertaining as much as he disliked it. The environment warped into living creations, the spawn of hell flocking through the sky and the outlandish reactions of the people below. It was like a cartoon on Halloween night.

"Good! You know you're pretty good at this special effect stuff. You should make a career out of it on the side. definitely have the vision for it. Looks like a live action remake ripped straight form a Halloween cartoon!"

The Queen of Madness lived up to her name. The whispers of a thousand tormented souls, the symphony of screams that resonated in the background, and how she socialized all crossed the line of insanity. That only made things more interesting though,. Sure, it might kill him, but he wanted to see just how far her unique style of life went. It would be much easier to handle her in an actual serious situation of he took the opportunity to adapt to this brand of madness in more favorable circumstances. Most people would already be mentally strained by the visions of chaos and the wicked energy that now drenched the air. It was thick enough to choke on.

The darkness of the sky was pierced by an array of light. Fireworks spawned by demonic energy and cast green and white embers to the city below. Is there anything this woman couldn't do on a whim for the sake of looking fancy? Grance hardly had any cool tricks of his own for casual times like these. That would be something to remedy in the near future! Cool tricks for an amazing entrance was always essential to any person that wanted to be taken seriously. The show made him ponder...If this was her first impression, what kind of twisted madness ould reside later in the night amid the Demon's own territory? His ear twitched at her corrected to the flavor of his flesh! Here he always thought people tasted like chicken. His custom genetic make up must of changed that at one point or another.

"Mana! I can't believe that. Twisting the fabric of reality for a cool light show is fine and all, but a lie? I thought you were better than that! I'll have to be a little careful with the things you say, now won't I?"

To think the epitome of evil among Demons would have the audacity to lie about something! He was shocked just a bit. What fallacy was next? Was this entire show a lie? Were the effects scripted? Was this even the real Queen of Shadowfall? Everything was tossed into the air now. He rolled his shoulders, taking one more look over the warped hell that had become of Saburo City. Not even ten minutes and the place had gone from the most peaceful it had ever been to a whirlpool of madness and demonic abominations. The vast majority of them didn't seem to pose a danger to their lives despite scaring them senseless though! So long as they were done away with as he left.Maybe that was less him and more the whispers of the Demon's charismatic power that spoke to his very soul..!

The swordsman turned back around to be met by the Demon Queen's gaze once again. Just as abruptly as every other feat of madness that consumed the night, a rift had been forged that could lead who knows where! Especially with a figure like Mana leading the way. It could very well be a trip straight to hell for an eternity of torment! Dellapero liked a risk every now and again though, and breaking out of hell or some other place Shadowfall cast their dominance would be one fun adventure to write home about.

" For a goddess of madness you're pretty reasonable. Didn't even need to hit ya'! Sure I'll come along. Just promise to keep things interesting for me and I might just tag along tomorrow too!"

Even if they were intended to be enemies both in nature and ambition, that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy himself during the pause between wars. Dellapero had an odd view of life like that, finding little to no problem in it when the lives of others weren't at risk. the more he kept her distracted, the less time she would have to potentially ruin anything anyway! It was a win-win situation as far as he was concerned! Without any more thought on the matter, the Unknown stepped forward after the Danava of insanity. He stepped off the edge without a moment's pause and leaped into the gateway! Whatever the remainder of the night held was a mystery and could very well be the death of him. That was half of the fun though!
