~Iori the Wolf with a Bite~

Iori Sugiura 3787b7b37d941913fe488dc7de6135f75aa78515

"I will tear down every pillar in which you have built, to look down upon me from"

Sugiura

Name: Iori Sugiura

Nicknames: Goddess of Victory
Age: 1200

Gender: Female

Personality: Arrogant, Iori is maybe one of the most Arrogant and disrespectful people you'll meet in your life. she believes that she's as strong as the next guy or girl out there, and if she isn't she trains just as hard to reach their level. She is very hard-headed with many things and it is hard to get her to listen to reason, in fact you have to be Four-five of following people: Midori, Misaiko, Takuri, Listy, and Odysseus. or Maybe Shadin. Other wise, do not expect her to listen to you easily, she will fight any opponent if she feels they are strong right off the back, no holds bar, relentlessly, until she sees their face covered in blood and for them to not look down on her...this had affected her to become arrogant as they did and in the heat of it all, she got that arrogant attitude her self.

Though When she seen what it did to Shadin's best friend Kin, she toned the attitude down, though it will show from time to time, because she can easily accept she's no perfect human. She has a very cold heart from the out go, she has a tough tomboy personality that ranges from very Angry and mean, Prone to Yelling and an overall attitude that will definitely make one call her the quote on quote "Bitch" Hell, she actually smiles when you call her that. She accepts that she's no angel, No good girl, and it definitely shows on the outside, she never holds it in.

She is very Sadistic and loves battle, she will never give an opponent, or training partner, time to get back on their feet. Never letting up, is what she believes in. But Despite all of this that makes one hate her, she actually has one part of her heart, that's caring, but she hate's to show that to anyone. it's one part, that only maybe a few number of her sisters, Mother, aunt or other friends can pull out of her, otherwise don't just expect a Nice Iori from the out go...that's basically a wish that would never come in the first 100-1000 next years to come..

This Nice side, has shown to be caring and helpful, Protective and a more smart and thoughtful side of Iori, When she's like this she's easier to talk too most of the time, she listens to strategy and thoughts before running out and going at things without a second thought. (Though she's her own strategist, sometimes she goes at things without thinking) this side is what most people will get from iori if they've known her long enough, she's mostly this way to her friends and family and would easily go out to help them in any way possible. Whether it be in a fight, or even helping others out of a tough jam, she will help you, if of course your on her good side and she's known you for a good while. If not, don't expect to be an easy friend from her.

Simply imagine a mix of both of these, since iori's hair has grown over the year's.

History/Background:

Iori was the First Known born daughter of the Sugiura clan. Probably one of the strongest daughters as well. she was the first born and with very good amounts of potential. She always deemed for respect no matter who it was from. She was in line to be a queen, so what other way would she act?; Iori was definitely a special case. Most would admit that down to a knot. However, she was still respectful to her parents in every sense. You would never hear a single speck of disrespect utter from her mouth, she was both a father's girl and mother's girl. she loved her parents a lot. though one day her spoiled attitude would upset one of the followers of Misaiko.

~Iori As a child and most of her preteen years~

(imagine red hair over the orange, and for the eyes golden/yellow)

Teresa, thus she took iori down a notch in a spar one day and showed her that just because she was a future queen in the making that did not mean she could step over every single person. Iori had learned a lesson that day about respect and instead of just respecting her mother and father she also learned to befriend the others and treat them as equals as Teresa had wished. Iori however learned that some of the friends she made only befriended her because she was of royalty, this created an idea in her mind that she could only now trust her family and went back to that elitist attitude, believing one thing and one thing only. People were just an ends to a mean.

(Imagine Red Hair, and Gold/Yellow eyes once again, thank you. )

Once they get all they can out of you they just throw you away. this was an attitude and mind set she kept until her younger sister midori was born, a person who helped show her the light once again. Her attitude of friendship and compassion helped give Iori a better out look on things, though she'd still have that twisted personality due to her childhood, only trust a certain number of people. Though when both reached a good age of adult hood they both chose separate ways. Midori went to become a captain under the shinigami ranks and became the first sugiura to be a shinigami captain. later becoming the first sugiura to also become a 0 division member.

Iori as a young adult

Iori Sugiura 3fbbdfb15b5f7a664198997206e35579-3

Iori decided to experience human life for a while and left to the human world where she met one of her beest friend's Miyaki, a very good technology expert. providing Iori with a surplus of technology. Sadly her death came at the hands of a gruesome murderer. Iori would make due of him and mourn the death of her only close friend who enjoyed her company and tough personality. she wouldn't really connect the same after that incident.

Until she met a Young Kasumi from the de le roi. the two had surprisingly gotten quite comfy with each other and had a relationship for a good while, but took a break. during this break Iori went with another lover. Hiro Arjan in which she would bare their one child Rensei. Iori would raise her over a good while, during these times she had befriended shadin and Kin. though she never respected kin and didn't care much for him. always belittling him at any given moment, this was the fuel and turn to make Kin ultimately decide his fate to be a King instead of a weakling.

Iori and Kin would] have a show down in karakura in which Iori fought bravely and valiantly even going as far as to sacrifice her life for everyone. though it was ultimately cut short due to interference by Claire. Her death had been in vain. but through unknown means she had been revived and made her way back in time for the battle that would decide Soul society and the other galaxies. Now Iori plans to make amends to all her friends, and has come to have a more happier attitude.

Sakkuruddo(Sacred): Yonaoushi(Lit: World Reformation)

Iori Sugiura Houtengeki-1

Iori's Sacred, Yonaoushi. comes in the form of a Long Halberd Staff, it weighs quite a lot and it is hard for others who don't have iori's type of body strength to hold it. weighing a good 60 tons of sheer Metal. the halberd is quite long in length, and has two blades, one works as a handle while the other is the primary use of the means to stab and pierce through the opponent's heart. it seems to have a piece of fur, or even string at the cross of the golden end. with incripted symbols. the string is said to be made from quite the royal type of tree bark in the sugiura kindom.

Iori can usually be seen keeping her staff placed on her back or in one of her many technological side toys Miyaki gave to her during her time in human world. the halberd on it's own without summoning the actual guardian beast is capable of creating strong wind current's from many direction's at one given point. creating quite the wave of tornado's, gust's, gale's and strong winds. it also has a golden dragon fly located on both sides, and is quite long.

Guardian Beast:

Iori Sugiura Sample_b916946f75fd9255b33453819b766736f9762d69

~Jiganjigoku~

Jiganjigoku, or "Jiga" as Iori likes to call her, Is a Humble and matured female guardian beast. Coming in the form of a slender woman who seems to have a metallic outline around her body and the world of a deep space. She is ultimately, and can most likely be summed up as The Yin to Iori's Yang. She is very cynical and careful about how her situations are handled especially, those of Iori. She is always there to give iori that peace of mind and becomes that piece to calm her down. When she's usually about go and do something way in over her head. Iori actually seems to look up to Jiga, as a shining mentor in her life. she was also one who saved the life of this woman. During her time as a child, Jiga saved her when she wondered off to the guardian beast's land's without Misaiko, Teresa, or even Takuri's permission's. Luckily before she was to be swiftly killed Jiga came out nowhere overpowering the beast and sending him away.

it was at that time that she looked back at Iori and told her that one day they would meet again. this would serve as a setting for their next meeting. The time when iori was finally ready to become a warrior. Through some talking and Iori giving compliment's, which mind you she never did do much. She Earned the trust of Jiga. The Two became good friends and whenever either one needed to confide in the other, more or likely they'd always be there for each other. Jiga is a woman spirit that cares much for Iori and often is the only one who can get her out of her depression's. Since she of all people besides Misaiko, know's just how damaging they can be for her. Jiga is also one of the most skilled time based spirit's, often allowing Iori to be human weapon even without drawing her sacred, as the gravity around her tend's to rise at a pretty high level often causing Her to be able to control the gravity of her opponent, almost as if she is grabbing them then slamming their body right down to the ground. She Can Even Accelerate her velocity, and air speed to immense levels often making it appear as if she could be anywhere at one given time. Though gravity isn't the only thing she can do, Like Her Father, The King Odysseus De Le Roi. She Control the Very Fabric of time around her, to slow opponents down with in a given area of her own. Making her a formidable opponent above all.

Guardian Beast's World:

Iori Sugiura Space1

Iori's world even resembles that of space, it's self. Often giving her this sort of at peace feel whenever she enters this world. as she's stated on occasions to go inside the spirit world of Her guardian beast is like feeling nirvana it's self. She could seemingly stay here for days sitting upon the small planet and conversing with Jiga, or even relax and just sleep her day's out. The Planets of this world often align around her and she always feels like a child half of the time. as she jumps from each one enjoying her time with Jiga. and the time in this world. Should she reach her depression's this is the place that she often goes too to relax and get away from stress in her daily life.

~Natural Abilities~

Grandmaster Hand-To-Hand Combat: Iori's main forte in battle is basically beating the opponent to the return of no point. She can basically be summed up by most, as a human weapon, often taking out the opponent with only using Debilitating Kicks and Punches to the opponents main point's and nerves of the body. Her Swings and kicks are often so swift and powerful that a simple swing of her hand to a tree that could be as large as skyscraper is cut down in one simple swipe. Her Hits aren't meant to be simple ones either. Every hit is meant to be a bone crushing finishing blow, crushing any part of the body that she need's too. She is one person that when it comes to hand to hand combat she wants to leave her mark on the opponent. She does this in a graceful way and often trains in a completely different list of martial arts. Her Three favorites are Savate, Muay Thai, and Tomoi. These are often her go to styles in battle, every hit is meant to affect the opponent on the outside as well as the nerves, Stopping blood, breaking joints even hitting vital points to discontinue the movement of other joints. Her Grappling is also something that most do not laugh at. if you are to be grappled by Iori. She will hold and endure any hit from the opponent while her grip gets tighter on any part of the body, often cracking the joints to the point of no return. She will Often go as far as hitting the heart, bending her knuckles into the chest of the opponent and sending oncoming velocity and pressure as waves through their body, and up into the veins of the heart. Her impressive blows can even break through mid-level to at least high-level hierro.

Skilled Weapons Expert: Most assume that since Iori always tends to go to using her fist's in battle, that she doesn't have any swordsmanship or any weapons skill at all. However, that assumption is shown to be false. She has great skill in using weapons, with whatever she may have. if they are nunchucks she can utilize them with great skill. If it is the Katana's or blade's. Chinese Dao Sword's, Nodachi's. Or any other blade she can use it quite well in battle, often making quick and precise slashes. just as her Hand to hand moves are meant to be finishing blows, her swordsmanship is also meant to finish the opponent off, if she can even catch the most vital part of the body, meaning the eyes, the chest or even the veins that can cause the opponent to bleed unprofitably. She will hit it and have no second remorse. She is one person who never shows mercy in the heat of battle. she can show similar grace to her mother. But the grace can seem scary at time's but it's still shown. to simply sum it up, if you assume she lacks in this because her skill of hand to hand is greater that is a bad idea. She is dangerous in both fields.

Amazing Endurance: Iori has literally reached a opponent of stubbornness similar to that of a rival and Enemy of her's Zin Yuudeshi. She Still considers shadin and Zin no simple friends. But she will admit that they are good in the crunch and against her better judgment she will always come to bail them out of some situation no matter what it seems to be. though she'll quickly admit that it was only to help her own goals. She Does respect Zin's level of always enduring being attacked. He was literally stubborn and the thought amazed her so much, that he still stood to have his bones punched, cracked and hit and knocked down to the point of no return. Iori decided she would take from this and learn how to endure her body through even the toughest of the tough blows. She could reach the point of nearly going through an entire wave of flames and coming out and be ready to fight, recovering from explosions and other damaging body effects. she will stand strong. Until her own bones are broken. She has reached a point where that is not as easy as it could be years ago. she has a well toned body, which is both attractive, feminine, but tough and hardened. she can take many hits and always come back to give as much damage as she possibly can back.

Element: Her Elements, Aren't the true general elements such as fire, air, earth, and water. But, Time. controlling what, can sped up, and what can be slowed down, around her. when the opponent happens to reach in within a close radius and meter range of her. She can also manipulate the wind.

Techniques:

Essence of the heavenly body: A Natural Technique which makes use of iori's high spiritual pressure. It works by using your body as a center for your spiritual energy, in sense, making your whole body a weapon. Doing so returns your body to the time it was at its peak. It was once compared to that of Shunkō, but Teresa called it "something different; something new." It Even Far out reaches Musou. as each immense hit, imparts a bodily wave of damage onto a medium, transferring the energy out through the medium, applying this onto the human body, could cause massive damage to an opponent internally. it's similar to shunko, but instead of nullifying, it mostly beats the opponent down to a pulp, with enough force to make them lose sensation in their joints. if she's up against energy attacks, at a full power essence she can punch through a gran rey cero, but it will damage her hand greatly. She also shows a enhanced level of endurance, where most attacks depending on their damage, are lessened by the powerful spiritual energy, that defends her.

Fumeiko: By focusing reiatsu on the heels of the legs and pushing said reiatsu at incredible speeds, the user's speed is increased unbelievably, to the point that the technique is speculated to be some type of space/time manipulation. The user leaves behind numerous afterimages resembling the user to the highest extent - the afterimages act exactly like the user, even being able to blink their eyes and attack by themselves. They can be hit by a very strong attack, causing them to disintegrate into reiatsu.A technique that Misaiko created long years ago, to many of her follower's after noticing the speed's of the shinigami, so to speak she wanted to create her own style of speed and what not. Utsusemi and the basis for Flash Steps derived from this technique.

Trinity Strike: Said in it's day to be a precursor to the technique Jinzen, by using reiatsu as a type of signal, Misaiko is able to call out the full power of Her Sacred, augmenting It to the highest boundary for a split second...
In this split second Misaiko slashes downward on the opponent's person, creating a deep and often fatal wound which is only capable of being healed by special herbs. The damage done by Trinity Strike can cleave easily through even the toughest of Arrancar, and can even kill most Shinigami with apparent ease. The use of Trinity Strike however can cause neurological problems to whoever chooses to learn it, in that sense, as the greater the connection the more of a strain on the mind may be... though it depends on the type of power level, one could lower it to make the damage half as big. To avoid such to occur., Iori learned this tech from Misaiko, but it's slightly incomplete.

Howling Moon: A technique which involves a good amount of concentration, it involves the use of sound and Wind...and when it's performed the sound that come's from the Blade, sound's like that of a wolf's howl. Misaiko will point her blade in upward motion and create A Ball of Wind Around her and make it Ten times Denser, In this time she gathers sound into the blade by hitting it with her nail a few times, what she's doing is adding sound inside the Wind Ball and amplifying it Ten fold. Once it's done when the opponent fires off a Reaitsu Based Attack or elemental, and direct attack's. She releases the Ball Out, Causing High Wave velocity wind along with a bone crushing sound wave to come at the opponent at a resounding speed, so fast that most don't even see it coming when it happens...It's capable of cutting out the intestines of the body, because of how deep it cuts, and from the powerful sound wave, it is capable of breaking the bones, causing jolting pain through the muscle tissue and blood. and other nasty effects.

Titan's Punishment: A powerful technique (one of her strongest) that releases a mass of high velocity winds that envelope the enemy from every side. A dome of incredible wind-velocity surrounds the enemy trapping them within. The wind pressure is so great that it can crush the very bones of an unsuspecting opponent with ease. Within the pressurized bursts are large cutting blades of wind that slash at the enemy from every angle and cuts down/ through anything it touches completely severing it. To an outsider... the technique appears as a massive dome of swirling winds cloaked in Blue spiritual pressure.

Jan Lo: Jo-Lan combines the body and mind, allowing each punch, kick, etc. to land with a burst of energy. So if you were to go at her, She could use her palm's or anywhere concentrated that Ki to Send impact on your body releasing A high pitched sound. in which in turn could cause internal damage, but mostly the damage come's from the Ki and the different burst's she take's. it should be noted iori need's to have a calm mind to properly perform this.

Seikūken: It involves controlling the entire radius within one's arm length, creating an impenetrable shield around oneself. The Seikūken can only be erected with a calm mind if one is not calm, it would be near impossible to erect the Seikūken.

Ryuusei Seikuken: A more advanced Seikūken instead of controlling the radius the Seikūken turn into a layer of skin to anticipate the flow of the opponents. You have to be absolute calm to use it even a slight of emotion will disrupt it. If an enemy is too strong, reduce your Seikūken to a thin layer of skin and antcipate the flow and dodge the opponent's attacks. Although you can read the move of an opponent but that doesn't mean you can nessicarially dodge it. There are 2 levels in Ryuusei Seikūken. First, is to read the opponent's flow. Second, imagine in your opponent's feelings and heart, and going with the flow overturn them

True intention Diamond Body technique: With this Move Iori concentrate's all water in her body into one spot. with this she is able to make her body as hard as a diamond. since the strongest water pressure can stop bullet's

Comet Drop: A More powerful version of Midori's Moon drop in this She interfaces with the air and molds Wind into a Dense Air. Iori's version of moon drop is a different version where she repels anything with in a a full 360 degree around her with amazing force enough to create crater's on concrete floor's and wreck everything within a large radius of herself

Nova: This technique, is a hand to hand based technique. Iori gathers up Spiritual energy in the center's of her palms. by doing so, she gets in close enough around the opponent, then pushes her palms forward through their body, using as a medium, by doing so she augments her fist's in similiar manner to neji's 64 palm techniques. By attacking the opponents pressure points, with a series of 100 blinding hand based strikes to the opponent's body. Doing So, causes the muscles, in the opponent's body to tense up at the strikes, often causing muscle spasms's depending on the number of hits.

Massive Strike: Iori augments her speed, to that of the speed of sound, or "godspeed" to perform a high level strike, which releases a powerful sonic boom. the god-speed Fist strike, produces a sonic boom that temporarily stuns an opponent's auditory nerve, impairing their hearing and equilibrium.

Nine Headed Dragon: this Powerful Technique, mixes spiritual energy, Wind, and hand to hand basis. By Concentrating, Spiritual energy and wind, together she creates a field of wind's around her body, once the opponent reaches in to get close enough to her, at about five meters. she transfigures the Spiritual energy and wind currents, inside of her body. She then concentrates the wind around her body, and releases it through the air, By punching and kicking with her arm and legs through the air, she releases powerful and large wind blades, from her arms. if the opponent is able to dodge the first one, she punches to their other side, releasing another blade, which eventually catches them in a trapped area. she can spread the wind around like a field, in which it becomes relatively even more difficult to dodge the wind blades, which locks off any movements or escape once their inside her radius. the wind blades are created with the more impact and velocity that increases with how strong iori's punches become in the air. She has a variation of this technique, known as "Hissastu: Burst headed Nine Dragon" in which, she targets the diaphgrahm, temple, windpipe, thighs, ribs and testicles. with a final Strike to the heart, to cause a powerful impacting wave of wind blade's to slice through the toughest of steel's, as well as the opponent's defense, often killing them instantly. Should they take it on directly.

Shatter: Shatter is the ability to shatter the wind around the user, and use the wind shards in an offensive and defensive matter. The amount of wind or air that can be shattered is in direct correlation to the amount of reiatsu pumped into the fist. When released into the air, the reiatsu spreads out in a spiderweb fashion (at the highest level of power, the weakest is just a bubble) that is capable of holding the glass shards until they are ready to be fired. This technique can be used to increase speed as well, by constantly shattering the air in front of someone, it can help remove the air friction.

If the opponent uses a fire or water technique, Iori can shatter the oxygen inside of it to reduce it's structure (removing the oxygen) and destroying the fire/water (since it cannot exist without oxygen) although this technique is strongest against wind techniques.

This technique is capable of not only shattering wind, but also controlling the shattered remains (meaning Iori is basically invincible against most wind techniques). If the user so desires, they can shatter the air that is the approximate distance from the users fist to the opponents contact point of a punch, doubling or tripling the damage with wind shards, which can then be further used to spread wounds and cause horrible lacerations.

Empire Strike: Equivalent to the power of a Cero Oscuras, and one of iori's Strongest techniques. This gathers up a large of Spiritual Energy, and the natural energy inside her body, Ki. She then gathers, a condensed ball of powerful Spiritual Energy, as the wind around's her picks up and becomes heavy, even making a noise, that sounds like that of a roar of a lion. She then holds onto the ball, making it grow in size, While Charging towards the opponent, at a split level speed, that is hard to catch, She then puts the palm which holds the condensed, and powerful energy then releases it at the opponent, she can release it in the forms of about 5 bullets, each having the power of a cero. Or fire it, forward as it is. When fired, it implode on contact of the opponent, engulfing them, then exploding causing critical damage to the skin. Causing Lacerations, or even large scars opening up on the opponent's body. if they take a direct hit, they could find themselves being incinerated, by quite a bit from this blast. She cannot fire this, many times, as it takes a good amount of energy, to power the Empire Strike.

Way of the Moon: This, involves methods of merging spiritual power with physical strength, into one unified fighting force. According to Misaiko, it channels one's spirit on the outside, forming spiritual attacks that follow with martial art movements. These bursts of energy take different forms, based on the movements done by its user. To begin, one must push their body to their absolute breaking point, to the point where one is running on pure will-power alone. In order to compensate for the lacking of physical stamina, spiritual energy begins to accumulate inside every part of the body. Because the body is empty of physical stamina, it is running on pure spiritual power. This shift is indicated by an immense dense aura of spiritual power surrounding the user. in order to fully, utilize Way of the moon, one must be able to be one with their own spiritual energy, Will power, is also a key in using this technique to the utmost. Their was a Master and practioner, of the technique, but since their history isn't in the record, Iori is said to be the successor of the technique

Vital crossover: Vital crossover is the use of adding chi and spiritual energy into one medium, doing so allows the user to transfer their energy, into that medium, Thus manipulating the particles out through a branch, would probably densify it's structure, and stability. When using it on a actual human being, or another race. They must be able to at least handle the spiritual pressure, if it feels to foreign for their body, one would find their body rejecting the Spiritual connection. If their body can handle, the slightest bit, they can feel a special type of spiritual herb, that begins to close up the wound's around the body, as well as help warriors who are exhausted in battle, and need a surplus of energy. Giving them a well needed boost. as well as working as protective shielding, if need be.

Magic:

Shitenoou Nanatsu no Enkan(熾天覆う七つの円環 Lit: The Seven Rings that Cover the Fiery Heavens): often, called "Rho aius", by most this is a powerful defensive spell, that can only be utilized by mid-level to very high level sugiuras, as it takes a supply of high amounts of reaitsu to supplement it. It takes the form of a seven layered barrier with the shape of an iridescent flower with seven petals. Formed out of a Strong Reaitsu user's palm. Each layer has the defensive power of a fortress wall, however it is necessary for the user to fill the barrier with the use of strong reaitsu, should the barrier be broken, the user will feel pain in accordance. which depending on the number of times it is used, could be quite costly to the user, if they are not so much as an ounce careful in using this spell, with one with a full powered reaitsu, this could block off High level cero oscuras, as well as other wise costly attacks. such as explosions, Furthermore, if more sugiuras are around the area, they could ultimately create a Massive defensive force, making this a formidable technique in numbers.

Ten no Kusari(天の鎖Lit: Chain of Heaven): said to hold the power of "commanding to gods". this creates a long spiritual chain out of any of the user's Reaitsu, they must also cut their arm and have a drop of blood run over the chain, in which the appearance now takes that of a real chain. It's a mid-level spell, that is best used for escape. by wrapping the chain around the opponent's entire body, it binds them and the use of moving their body. it grows stronger, in reply to how the reaitsu of the binded opponent does, thus the larger their reaitsu grows, the chain continues holding a powerful hold over their body, however it's main weakness is that, to a simple opponent with low reaitsu or people that can cloak their reaitsu, it is no more then a simple chain.

kyuutenchokka(突然のクラッシュ Lit: Sudden crash): this magic spell, is a great balance between both, Defense, and offensive strategy. by, gathering up enough Spiritual energy, the user creates a force field, that resembles that of a small circular dome, once the dome is formed, using both of the palms, it will then turn around in a clock wise motion, sucking in a column of wind like a vaccum, as well as the descending attack of the opponent's, which is usually energy, the user can send the dome, in the form of a bubble, at the opponent, and instantly clap their hands releasing all of the energy, causing it to explode in front of them, and cause a massive wave of confusion, and loss with the opponent, if they're close enough to the attack, they can also get damaged as well, it's best used for escape, but can always be used in battle as a surprise attack. it creates damage, from their attack as well as most of the conflicting wind, to burn, or even lacerate the skin of the opponent if they take the full blunt, depending on the attacks, the Sudden crash, becomes quite a powerful technique, but it can only take up two two large attack's, that are comparable to the cero oscuras, or even a chaos blast. if anymore are fired, it will explode, thus the dome has to be fired into the bubble shape, quickly.

Taiyou no Mannakahe (たいようのまんなかへ, lit. "To the Center of the Sun"): Taiyou no Mannakahe is a high-power long-range energy attack. It has no "element" but rather is made of pure reishi. It is fired from the user's index finger of their dominant hand. If ambidextrious, it can be fired from either hand. Only one can be fired per 5 posts. It is the Suguira equivalent of a Cero Oscuras in terms of power.

It is broken down into two stages. The first stage is the "aiming" stage. After pointing at the target, a one-inch-diameter circular beam will be emitted from the finger. Anyone who has not seen or heard of the attack will believe that the beam itself is the attack. However, that is false. Instead, it acts as a laser sight for the actual attack. The longest range ever recorded was 5 miles.

After one post, the true attack will be fired. Instead of being something like a large circular attack, this technique takes the form of a long, tall, thin, blade-like attack. The highest ever recorded height was 10 miles high. However, all Taiyou no Mannakahes are EXACTLY one inch thick at their thickest point. Because of the immense power required to fire just one, only Suguiras of 1-1 or 0 tier can learn this technique. It can only be fired when unreleased or when in Kyuu Kyou. The attack will most likely damage the user's hand in the process as well.

Hoi: Designates a person as the target of the spell.

Joso: Designates an area as the target of the spell. Needs a high focus (Sacred drawn) and more Reiatsu.

Ketsu: Creates a barrier around the target enemy or area. The barrier can be used as a defensive messure around oneself, or to trap enemies for a short period of time. Enemies of the same or higher strength can break the barrier with a bit of effort. With a drawn Sacred, the barrier gets stronger.

Kai: Releases the barrier without causing damage.

Metsu: Collapses the barrier inwards, damaging all trapped inside. The more Reiatsu is used, the more devastating the explosion inside the collapsing barrier is. Can be used without a Sacred, the sword makes it stronger, however.

Tenketsu: Opens a dimensional rift in the barrier, disorting the Reiatsu of the one trapped inside, weakening the victim with time. Enemies that are far weaker than the user can be killed by this effect. Can only be used with a Sacred.

Zekkai: Using negative energy, the Suigara fires out an energy attack at the enemy, or repells an attack. A dark aura circles around the user of this technique. It does not require the use of a barrier beforehand, but a Sacred is needed. Since this increases negative feelings inside the user, frequent use is not recommoned, since it can cause depressions, destructive bloodrages or even suicidical thoughts.

Shinkai: Often called the strongest of the Suigara magics, this either creates a huge energy shield in front of the user to not only block, but reflect incoming attacks, or fires out many energy blades onto the target. This technique drains a huge amount of Reiatsu from the user, but has extreme force. If a target gets specified with the weaker spells, the attack has homing abilities. Without a Sacred, it can be deadly to even attempt to use it. Weaker Suigara would kill themselves by casting this.

Nenshi: Another way of binding, this creates a glowing energy thread in the collor of the Reiatsu of the user. It can be used to bind an enemy in place, struggle or torture him. It is connected directly to the palm of the user. This can be used without a Sacred.

Sekkai: Developed to be used against Suigara techniques and Bakudo, this can disrupt barriers by quite a bit, making it easier to break free.

Shuufuku: A healing spell that heals wounds and restores damaged objects. It first creates a weak barrier around the object or person, and then restoring Reiatsu is funeled into the barrier.

Shikigami: This creates small paper dolls that the user can use as measures of spying on enemies, since the user sees everything the small papercut does.

Musou: A technique to highten the body of the user. Pumping Reiatsu into the muscles, they get faster, react better and stronger, but give up capabilities with magic casting at the same time. Lasts for about 20 minutes.

Gekidou: is a Special Sugiura Magic that can, Create a strong Prism made out of the color of the user's Reaitsu around the opponent, effectively catching them and trapping them inside the prism. Similar to Six ways of binding light, it explodes when you make contact on the user, by an attack or even a punch, often causing damage into the body of the enemy from the powerful reaitsu being pushed down on their body. This Can be used without a sacred and depends more on the reaitsu of the user. In order to completely trap them however, you must be able to fully see them and they have to be at least a bit of a mile close into your radius to do so.

Kyuusaisha: is a technique that utilizes calling on the help of another sugiura, when in their respective area they can create a small telekinetic message throughout the area to one specific Sugiura to go to their aid if they are being ganged up on or even in a very horrible and unlikely situation. Depending on the Reaitsu Level and tier. they can send more messages. This can be used without a Sacred or with a sacred to call on more help.

~Joushou~ (Ascending)

"Now, Be Devoured by My time"

Iori Sugiura 250px-Himeko

Tenkei(神の神託,Lit: Divine Oracle): When Iori, releases Yonaoushi, She will have the staff's form change into a large double sided blade which she handles very swift showing she has experience in using it. It also, helps to give her wind a special boost. The blade, can also be used as a shield. Her Ability in this stage, is quite peculiar, and it's time control. She controls the fabric of time, in her one designated space. this allows for her, to reverse explosions, by moving her hand up into the air, she can control time, to a point where she can slow down attacks, depending on their speed, in order to move around and evade the attack. She uses her ability to slow down time, in extensive and agile ways. It is also shown that she can speed up her time, as well. Speeding up the time, means that she can to regulate time within the field - that is, speeding up (accel) or slowing down (stagnate) her own body. As it is deployed in its smallest scale, it can adjust time by a few seconds at most. by speeding, or slowing down her body. She moves at immense and powerful speed, when using accel, she can go at the speed of very high flash step user's, Double Accel, allows for her speed to rival, a near speed of light or sound level, however by doing so, it often affects her bones. especially when slowing down her time, Thus, she doesn't go anymore further then a few seconds to evade attacks. Though, if the attack is a bit larger, then she may go into using her time control, within a few minutes.

Shintaisei No Sekai(新世界秩序, Lit: New World order): Iori's Second Ability of Yonaoushi in joushou's state is the ability to slow down the opponent's time whenever they reach a point in her radius, for example if one were to go in for direct attack's or fire a energy attack. She would release a field in which. the opponents motions become slower, they feel as if their body has a massive ton weighing down on their body. Most mistake this to be gravity, However it's Iori using her time control, and enforcing it onto the opponent's body. doing so, she can slow them down, if they are speedy opponent's. or send oncoming pressure, onto heavier opponents. if the opponent goes a fast speed, Iori can use the momentum she gained, through the miles, meters or seconds, that they ran and send that, resulting momentum right back at them, this could come in the form of Kicks, or punches. that used the opponent's speed, to create a powerful bone crushing blow. if the opponent is in too close to her, using her time control she could possibly break their bones. However, the main weakness, of her technique. is that cannot spread out, Thus. long ranged fighters, would be able to have a better chance, as long as they were at a separated space, away from her. She can speed up the time, of her opponents, but only for a few seconds. They have to be close to her, in order for her to speed up time, by doing so she gives her allies a nice boost, in speed in order to perform a devastating final strike.

Iori Sugiura 200px-Astral_Space

Jikoku no Reiten(時間ゼロ, Lit:Time Zero): The Last Ability, of Iori's Joushou state. is Releasing what seems to be a rip, in the space behind her. it resembles Space it's self. it often creates a powerful rift. However it releases a medium field, to surround her and her opponent(s). that distorts time to such an extent that it is approximately five times slower than that of what we normally observe, meaning 5 hours within the inner component of the region is proportionate to only a single hour occurring externally. Minutes, will feel like days. While, seconds will feel like hours. Iori can enforce her will, in this space field. However, she cannot defend against outside attacks. While, the opponent feels that they are going at a fast speed, Iori is actually going faster, this often creates nervous feelings, within the opponent. It's not fear, that they feel, but instead they don't know what's going on exactly, are they the ones being handle? did they her? it often causes their nerves, especially the brain to try and fight against, what they have a hard time countering. the severe weakness. is if one, closes off their thoughts, and uses nothing but their will. by doing so. Iori's field, with seem like nothing then her usual time control to slow them down, which they can recover from of course. the only other way to counter this, is those who have a special technique to reverse any effects into their mind.

~Zenou~ (Almighty)

"Fall Victim, and disappear from this Reality"

Kokugen No Sagai(時間災難,Lit: Time Calamity): Said to be the strongest ability of her Sacred, Time Calamity changes the Small Space field, into a large field, in which the sky now resembles the stars and astronomical planets. above the opponent. and around them. this seems to be a different dimension. in which she can openly move through and come back inside of it. However, the main ability is that she can Cause the Area of time around her to change, meaning if an opponent is trapped, inside this Dimensional Area, she gains the ability to freely, speed up, slow down, or cause a "Over-rev" phenomenon to occur, doing so gives off the optical illusion, that she stopped time, but only for a simple moment, she can now take time back by, a pretty large amount. At least by hour's, This means that, if you were in your highest form. at the current moment. as long as you were in this field, Iori would enforce her reason of time, to where you were back into your sealed state. This however means that she would also, have to take her time back by a few minutes, as well. Meaning, that even she is affected by this, often she won't even try the move, if she was considerably wounded at one point in the battle. which leads into how it controls time, to a bigger extent. if one had wounds in a battle, small or big. they could see that wound resurfacing on their skin. However, in the sense of all things. it only works, on large wounds, or scars. if one had already had their arm cut off, Iori would be unable to reinforce the effect on either herself(if she had the same injury) nor, on the opponent. Thus, endurance is a key, in combating against this technique, however Iori will usually need a break, in between, and thus the field will disappear in order for her to do so.

Myukakaru(論理の鎖,Lit: Chain of Reasoning): this ability revolves around the creation of a literal and isolated sphere of influence, containing various representations of celestial bodies integrated into its external circumference, projected outwards from Iori's own physical entity that acts as the central focal point of the dome. The visible exterior of this three-dimensional space occupies a region, within this region. Iori becomes impervious to the use, of other time based users, but more so she can disallow the influence of an outside force, therefore an explosion would be nullified, if happened around her, if someone were trying to enforce an illusion into her mind.

She would enforce her own influence, to believe what is real and what is wrong. Her influence is considerably capable of disallowing reishi control, inside her dome. chaos energy may fall into the latter. disallowing control of reishi, means they wouldn't be able to manipulate the particles, in any form, or even control any form. as stated before, Iori can go through the different dimensions, in which the opponent must either follow, or try to escape the dome, all together. it's often tricky to catch her inside of the dome, as well. she can freely move through the dimensions, of the dome. the dome, however can only stay up as long as iori has a strong influence. Even then, this only last's for (3 Post's) before she has to close off the dimensional dome, it's because it often causes her own brain, to be damaged and effects her nerves, as well. making it a double edged sword.

~Kyuu Kyou~(Ultimate)

"Demon, Be, Forgotten with Time"

Karasau no Kami(神を無視するために, Lit: To Defy the God): The First, and only ability in her Kyuu Kyou, is Karasau no Kami. This form, is very dangerous, and often use of it, since Iori hasn't yet completed it, can cause her body to break down. she can become quite taxed and tired, more then others, feeling a heavy strain of pain after using it...she rarely ever goes into this form, if it's not worthy, she can use it quite a few times, unlike Misaiko, but the more she does,

the more she puts her body at risk. her body is now replaced with a new outfit. her body will float up into the sky, her hair grows slightly longer, while her hands glow, doing so she has a large, weapon. in which seems to be a gun, the gun however contains powerful shots, of time damaging matter, in which Iori can fire, onto the opponent. in doing so, if they take the full jist of this shot, she can literally erase them, from time. by doing so, this would mean that she would literally remove any trace they had in the world, but only to an extent of years. she can only fire two large shots, the gun, can also be manipulated into a gun blade form. Iori can create large slashes, to create the same time, erasing matter and fire it at the opponent or concentrate it into one devastating and final strike. however, she risk's her body breaking down and ultimately failing her. thus the form can only be accessed for three post's. if she fails to erase the opponent, her bones will slightly break, blood will run up through her body, and she will suffer major draw backs from this state. thus, she only uses it, if she finds the opponent worthy, if not she mostly deems it, as a "pain in the ass state".

Odysseus le Rouge de Loi shed a manly tear while reading her abilities. He also approves of the application by giving it a tier of 0-4+.

Name: Iori Sugiura

Age: 1600

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Iori Sugiura Df98u9

Iori Sugiura 366146

Iori Sugiura 356811

Iori Sugiura 451961

Iori Sugiura A727da33cd2b705cfeb94e9f6ef73d7c

Iori Sugiura 35e97bb7ed4b0d23b9aca296bb9a59b8

Iori Sugiura Ok4r38

Long of body and strong of bone, Iori possesses a very distinct appearance from everyone else. Her arms and legs are actually longer than most females but not abnormally so. While her body does possess femininity, one cannot deny that her frame would be more fit for a young man rather than the normal Japanese woman. She stands at an unbelievable 186 centimeters and approximately weighs 59 Kilos. Indeed, Iori's appearance is very unconventional for a female. Even though she possesses such abnormal distributions, by taking a closer look, most young men would admire her form. While the lines of her body suggest slight masculinity, the rest of her body is genuinely unique and signifies the fact that she takes extremely good care of herself whenever she can. While she does not possess a large buxom bosom - with a cup size C - her breasts are still visible through anything she wears. She claims that this size for her is ideal due to the fact that as a fighter, she believes that extremely large breast sizes tend to impede a warrior's movement. Every part of her body from arms to legs - to hips, waist and ass are well defined. There are muscles on her arms and legs, but unlike some women who tend to excessively exercise and gain more muscle then feminine charm, Iori combines the perfect mixture of womanly beauty with herculean strength that proves just how powerful she is as a warrior. Her skin is a fair, pale white and her cheeks are well rounded. While her hair - compared to that of the females in her family - isn't the longest is still a wonderful crimson red that travels down and stops at her back mid-way. When she does find it growing to a disconcertingly long size, she simply cuts off the excess hair or fashions it into a long braided tail, something she became accustomed to during her stay in China. While most of her physical features are very prominent, the most defining of them all is her eyes. They are the color of amber and resemble the eyes of the common wolf, giving them a mysterious yet captivating quality. Wolf-like eyes and traits are not uncommon in the Sugiura family, even Misaiko possesses similar hues. The main difference is that unlike her mother's, Iori's eyes can emulate a wolf's every emotion, from calm to vicious and in some cases, even feral. In her former life, she possessed wolf-like arms with fur but they are nonexistent in this new body.

As for common apparel, Iori is the common tomboy. Very rarely will one see this goddess of victory wearing a dress of any kind, she always wears jeans and short-sleeve shirts everywhere she goes. Her most generally used outfit is one that can be seen during battle, which is a black tank-top shirt made from extremely soft yet surprisingly hard to cut through fabric and skin tight black jeans that accentuate her hips, waist, and legs very well. Besides that, she tends to wear a variety of shoes, specifically tennis. For aesthetic value alone, Iori tends to adorn her hands in multiple bandages. It is not because she's ashamed or possesses some unsightly wounds down there, but simply because of a habit that started during one of her training sessions. When not wearing this outfit, Iori tends to be quite the fashionable girl. Her vast array of clothing can range from short to long sleeve shirts, sweaters, jackets and most things one would usually find on the modern tough girl. While one would not expect it, this lady tends to take her clothing very seriously and leaves no detail untraveled to make her astonishing in anything she wears.

Due to extensive years in north china, Iori came to enjoy the robes that her teacher, students, and even Natalia wore on a daily basis. Therefore, she will customarily wear these anachronistic robes to pay tribute to everyone from that era. As with her general appearance, Iori tends to wear clothes that always turns toward's the male spectrum. For example, instead of wearing the Qipao of Chinese females, Iori instead chooses to adorn herself within the male equivalent of the Qipao, the Chengshan or Long shirt in English. She finds these specific garments comfortable and free allowing her to perform her training without anything to impede her movements. She also enjoys wearing a variety of mandarin jackets; another set of anachronistic clothing that descends from the 1900's. On very special occasions, she will even wear these outfits to parties as well as normal walks through the city. Not only does her love of china stop at just clothing, she will even fashion her hair into long Chinese braids, the longest being 43 inches depending on how far her hair grows. Whereas her general looks express those of a tomboy, these styles of clothing do well to show off how much of a female she really is, ironically. In conclusion, Chinese clothing has become a central part of who Iori is and she finds great pride in wearing clothing that descends from the Era where she learned her martial principle, Bajiquan.

Personality:

Despite her tough demeanor, Iori is one of the few people in this world who upholds a strict code of honor in and outside the battlefield. She does not believe in dishonorable battles and if one side is underhanded, she will not hesitate to even the odds. This stems from the fact that, as a child, she was taught to stay true to the ideals of the warrior. One must be courageous, kind, humble, and fight with fairness. Even when she lost her path, she never betrayed the laws of her warrior spirit. While not exactly the most moralistic person to exist, Iori does well to stay true to what she tries to uphold, now more than ever. More than anything, she takes her battles seriously at all times. It does not matter if they happen to be sparring matches. This is especially true for when she is faced with strong opponents who share similar ideals. While she can be quite overwhelming in her personality, it is simply her way of being. One many think Iori to be a mean hearted woman, but no one will ever refute the fact that she will always defend the weak. She is no hero, however. She doesn’t exactly follow the rules when it comes to heroism, and may perform acts that may very well go against such codes.

Nevertheless, if it is within her power, she will indeed go out of her way to help a man or woman in need. Due to a life changing meeting during her life as a guardian beast, Iori learned that it is better to fight with passion and heart, rather than hate and malice. Another facet of this honorable personality is that Iori can be quite carefree with people around her, especially her students. Like her family, she cares for each and every one of her students as though they were also her direct relatives. This shows that Iori has something of a “protective mother” personality hidden within. She won’t restrict her students or anything to that extent, but if anyone dares to lay harm upon them, then she will not rest until she has exacted divine punishment upon the assailant. Of course, Iori is not without faults. With complete strangers – depending on the circumstances – she will rarely treat them with kindness, especially if their aura exudes absolute evil. As she was during a child in her former life, Iori has a problem with making new friends and tends to fail miserably at saying the right words.

This tends to send the wrong message to others. In reality, Iori actually enjoys hanging around people and exchanging pleasantries whenever possible. It beats battling, work, or business any day. Iori does not have an overinflated ego, but her pride is quite high. If she’s wrong or feels that she’s enjoying someone’s company, she’ll reply with her most generally used word, “Baka”. This mostly occurs when people happen to embarrass her and break down whatever façade she may intend to keep up. This allows people to see that Iori isn’t as tough or as mean as she puts on, and can be quite the sweet girl – though she wouldn’t admit such a thing until hell froze over. Iori despises warriors and anyone who picks on the weak and will upbraid them without giving a damn about the repercussions. You could be the emperor of japan or you could be the queen of England, but if you are not treating your people with respect and grace, then prepare to meet the backside of her hand or the knuckles of her fist. She’s no white knight, nor does she make such claims, but due to the morals taught to her by Misaiko and how that woman handled herself as a ruler, Iori believes that no one should be discriminated against.

While she discarded these teachings – something that inevitably caused her down fall – thanks to being given new life, she follows them as strongly as ever. Her code of honor isn’t just limited to fighting for the weak, she will help and nurture them if she so desires. This doesn’t stem from honor though; instead it comes from the fact that she was once a mother and found beauty in nurturing the young soul. To revise an earlier point, Iori will not stand to allow an unmatched battle. She extremely dislikes anyone who interrupts a person’s fight as well. Believing that fighters must be allowed to face their one mortal foe, Iori never dares to intrude upon this sacred wall. She will allow battles to go on as preceded, and if that persons requests they keep their loved ones from the battlefield, she will do so without even needing to be asked.

Her one code she holds closest is; “The battle between warriors is a sacred bond, one that must be enjoyed to the fullest extent. To interrupt such a thing or ruin it with deceit is unforgivable. “While not exactly a madman for the taste of war, Iori dislikes having to postpone an unfinished confrontation. If there’s anything she hates most, then it is not finishing what you started. If it is out of one’s power, so be it. If they fear that they cannot win and concede to her that will do nothing but make her angry. She came to acquire a respect and admiration for those with willpower. It even influenced her to train her body and go through many perils just so she could reach the same pinnacles as those stalwart warriors. If an opponent fights her no matter how many the odds may be out of their favor, she will spare their life and praise them for their strength of mind. Iori learned one thing after fighting a man with will power, and that was one simple thing. A Warrior is not defined by their strength, or by the skill of their techniques, but by their determination to strive towards greater heights, to fight battles even if losing side cannot win or if defeat is inevitable, that more than anything else is what she believes defines the warrior’s spirit.

Determination and willpower are two of the more prevalent traits within Iori’s personality. A woman of great courage and one who’s experienced the laborious scars of war, Iori’s adamancy to never give up, despite the odds, speaks to how strongly she feels for the wars and battles she participates in. Even in the beginning, Iori was never one to surrender the initiative or show fear to anyone. She could suffer a large wound, a fatal cut, or even have her bones broken beyond all repairs – and still, she would fight on. Her main influence for never giving up, or at least regaining such passion can be linked to Zin Yuudeshi. After fighting the man and beating him to a pulp, he continued to fight despite how impossible victory was. At that time, she thought he was foolish. After that, however, she realized that even if he was a meager warrior, his undying determination was what made him great. From that day thereon, Iori trained with an endless fervor. Each day was spent honing her body and going through strenuous training sessions; all in the name of acquiring that same indomitable fury. She learned that day, that true power comes not from how many techniques one can perform or the difference in skill between warriors, but from deep inside.

Her epiphany allowed her to gain this powerful undying will. Her most remarkable ability is her will to succeed, pushing herself beyond all limitations, and never giving up even when the odds are stacked against her. While she isn’t confident that she could recover from something truly life threatening, she is nevertheless sure of herself that her body will never fail her. While her natural will to survive is threatening, her will to protect the ones she loves and cherishes is truly fearsome. Her family and her friends serve to be an even greater fuel then her pride. If it were in the name of her family and her most accomplished comrades, she would fight a million soldiers and never falter until everyone last one was dead. When a goal is in front of her, this woman becomes even more determined to succeed. No matter how much you think you’ve damaged her, she will come back until every last fiber of life has been ripped from her body, until every last piece of her pride is dusted beneath the ground. Even if she were a limbless, headless, torso – she would still fight, and fight until the very end. Not only does this serve to empower herself, but the people around her as well.

To the goddess of victory, impossibility does not exist. Many legends did not become legends because of their stories, but because of the courage it took to complete their goals, no matter how far things were out of reach. Her warrior’s pride is also a crucial reason as to why she’s so relentless. The most difficult and mortifying thing about her, is that you could deal tremendously harmful and painful wounds, and even then, she would offer naught but a confident, domineering, grin. As long as she stands, and as long as her body is still mobile, she will bring everything she has to bear against her opponents until either they fall or by some stroke of fate, her body gives out.

While the details outlined above do well to give us an idea as to why her determination is so strong, her will to live is what truly defines the new Iori Sugiura. At some point in her past life, she lost that will. In her present life, however, she has promised herself as well as the person who brought her back to the mortal plane, that she will make the best of her rebirth. So, while her will is strong, she is no foolish woman and would not allow her opponent to simply keep piling on blows after blows upon her. Even with her reserves of power lost, she would still do her best to handle the situation and use whatever resources were necessary to grasp victory. In the end, Iori is one woman who will no doubt stay steadfast in her ideals. No matter who she faces, she will stand before them like an immovable bulwark and remain a brave warrior until every ounce of grain has depleted within her hourglass. Such is the will; such is the determination, of the indomitable goddess of victory.

While the two pieces of the personality outlined above do well to describe our goddess of victory, this final piece brings the puzzle altogether. To begin, let us define what a Tsundere actually is. Tsundere is a term used to describe a Japanese character development process that describes a person who is initially cold and even hostile towards another person before gradually showing their warm side over time. The word is derived from the terms Tsun Tsun (ツンツン?), meaning to turn away in disgust, and Dere Dere (デレデレ?) meaning to become 'lovey dovey'.

Now that you know, direct your attention back to Iori. From the description aforementioned, the term tsundere fits Iori to a T. Sure, she may act as tough as nails or keep up a veneer of denial towards others feelings, but at the center, she’s short-tempered, prideful, and has an improper attitude with extremely tomboyish tendencies and insecurities- a fact few people know of. Due to her extreme pride which likely rivals that of the mighty King of Heroes himself – though not as arrogant and pretentious as his is – Iori is always faced with difficult situations on how to react to the feelings of others. She always acts cold to people and will even upbraid them if they bother her too much. This stems from the fact that after she hurt her first friend on accident, and once people started avoiding her; she started to create a shell that would follow her well within her new life even. While her family is the only individuals she can talk to without being embarrassed, she still finds it extremely difficult to admit how she feels towards them. For a woman who spent most of her life locking her emotions up, it is hard to express them with as much languid enthusiasm as others are able too.

In fact, whenever she finds herself in such situations, she often feels extremely nervous making it seem as though she’s weak of spirit or heart. In order to prevent anyone from seeing her vulnerabilities, she will chide and berate people around her without a second thought. She is truly adamant about keeping up her façade of being strong and domineering, when in reality, she may feel differently from what actually comes out of her mouth. On the outside she wants people to think she’s a mean person, but sometimes if you’re really persistent, the emotional walls she has always kept up to keep intruders away, will slowly but surely go crumbling down. Once that wall has been destroyed, one is finally allowed to know the true Iori Sugiura. The viewer may now view Iori in a different light. Iori states that her inability to describe her feelings or emotions well comes from the fact that she wants to be a little like her mother or sister, but lacks the beauty and alacrity that they do. In truth, Iori can be quite loving and kind to a person once they cut off the excess weight. One thing no one would ever expect Iori to have is her love of anything cute. Be it cat, dog, wolf, or any other pet, and Iori will snuggle and cuddle the animal with unreserved happiness. She has never been able to pinpoint why she enjoys such things, but she doesn’t question it either. All in all, when it boils down to it, Iori isn’t a bad person. Once you’re able to show her what it really means to have friends, you’ll finally be able to see the true goddess of victory inside.

Natural Abilities

Herculean Strength: If there were ever words to describe Iori's physically tremendous strength, then that word would undoubtedly be "Godlike". Not only is she the strongest of her kind in terms of physical prowess, but also one of the select few that exist in the entire world. Her might does not adhere to the laws of mortal men, and the force, vigor, and ferocity of her strikes are so powerful that there is almost no one who is able to match her in close combat. Not only does she have a body harder then any steel found on earth, but her massive physical strength is so potent that even a small punch has the capacity to break several bones in her opponent's body. Even a light touch from her hands, with absence of force, can cause bruises to form on their skin just by grabbing their arms. Just a casual touch is enough to stagger people, crush Seki-Seki stone, create tremendous earthquakes, and even destroy a myriad of objects, though this dependent on what material they are made from. This large degree of physical might is further compounded by the fact that she can even catch most energy attacks and throw them back with her bare hands, though she still suffers minor wounds. This is only the tip of the iceberg, however. When she truly becomes serious, her strength becomes another story altogether. Large opponents and those who pride themselves on endurance and defense, no matter how high, will still find themselves faced with quite a challenge going against Iori. In the past, time and time before, she has shown that she is even capable of lifting large opponents with her hands without batting an eye. They could be three to four, to five times her size and it would matter little, for her strength is vigorous and mighty, a tool given to her right from when she was born. A full force blow from any part of Iori's body is enough to snatch away the life of an undefended opponent. The force of her Iron fists are even enough to shatter bones, cause internal bleeding, and even destroy internal organs, turning them into nothing but a mesh of meat. In other words, facing the goddess of victory is no easy task.

Reverse;Rebirth; To understand the concept of reverse;rebirth, only common knowledge is required. Consider life and death. With everything born into creation, everything has a point where it is destined to end. For example, plants usually grow and wither with time. From the beginning when its seeds were watered and then nurtured into a plant, and at the end, when it finally withers with time, it therefore has two points of existence. The first point - birth, was when it was filled with remarkable energy evident by its wonderful color - this is the remarkable beginning. The next point - withering, or for a better term, decay - the flower begins to reach the end of its existence. It is the chronological order of life and death that forms the basis for this ability. Through various years of honing her otherworldly time abilities and extreme ingenuity in mastering them, Iori has found a way to bring matter from creation to death, and from death to creation.

It does not require a genius to understand the concepts of this technique. Be it plants, humans, and other organic objects, Iori can manipulate their start point and their end point; when it begins, and where it will end. This is performed by bringing her hand up and coming into contact with whatever reaches her vicinity, physical or ranged. At the point of connection between her body and whatever comes into contact, she uses her time manipulation to first target how long the matter has to live, and when it will cease to exist.

In so doing, she accelerates the matter until it reaches its predetermined endpoint and causes it to go to zero, becoming nothing more then dead weight. Once she has caused the matter in question to become nonexistent, she now has the chance to use the remnants of the matter and reforge it into a force that is controlled by her own abilities. Instead of acceleration, she simply reverses the time of the object until it returns to its original form, only that this time it is under her control. Once she has stolen control of whatever matter comes into contact with her away from her foe, she uses their own attack against them. With this use of restoration and decay, she becomes an exceedingly dangerous fighting force against her opponents.

This technique finds most of its worth against long ranged projectile attacks that consist of energy and elements. It can be used to restore lost limbs of course, and in a moment of kindness, to even help save someone from death. Whenever an energy or elemental attack comes into contact with her, she simply raises her hand at the point, right after or before connection and causes the attack to "decay". Once the attack has died, all that is required is to perform the reverse - "restoration" - and re-establish the attack under her own rule. This works particularly well with Cero, Kidō, and a vast assortment of elemental attacks. Lightening, Wind, fire, as long as it can be touched, it can be destroyed and restored when this technique is a concern. When used on remaining particles and organic objects, it can even be used to recover things that have faded away from existence. And on humans, if they have not yet reached their own death, she can extend their lifespan by a large quantity. In other words, it has to exist - possess an endpoint - and be organic and physical for Iori to manipulate the target of the ability.

There is a flaw in all of this, however. Besides being unable to manipulate things such as steel, concrete, and other inorganic objects, the reversal and acceleration method creates a significant time lag between movement and stillness. With large scale attacks meant for the sake of completely destroying the opponent, Iori must concentrate all of her energy alone on trying to find a way to first grab the attack in question, and then use a crucial amount of spiritual energy to accelerate it towards its end.

At that point, she has already exhausted a crucial amount of her energy to stop the attack, and therefore is usually unable to reform the energy and use it as a counterattack against her opponent. Moreover, in the time it takes her to use her time manipulation on the large scale attack, she can easily fall prey to a counter strike from her opponent. The second weakness, of course, is that it actually must be able to sensed, as she can easily fall prey to well prepared sneak attacks. And since it cannot be used on extremely dense objects such as steel, iron, and rocks - the opponent can use those objects to their advantage.

Therefore, Reverse;Rebirth must be used wisely. It cannot be overused nor may it be used foolishly, one must execute this technique with absolute stoicism. It presents multiple advantages against the attacks outlined above, but does not bode well against the disadvantageous techniques above at all. Nevertheless, it does well for when Iori calls upon its usages and has yet to fail her in the heat of battle.

Chrono Evolution: Chrono Evolution at the basest part of its core, is a technique of simplicity and does not require a huge amount of energy. Whereas Reverse;Rebirth manipulates things strictly according to battle situations or life and death, this ability is performed simply for the sake of keeping her identity hidden at all times. In order to understand it, however, we must first recall that Iori's growth as a guardian beast was accelerated in the 400 years she was living with Okabe. If she had not combined with Tajadol, and not been aided by feeding on other guardian beasts, she would've been forced to experience a much slower growth rate maturing over years or even decades. Through the addition of Tajadol, she grew well into the age she was supposed to be revived in and quickly progressed as a warrior.

Through her training, she acquired the ability to alternate between becoming a child and becoming an adult. This is where its name hails from. By using a meager amount of spiritual energy, Iori can easily change the weight, structure, and overall form of her body. While her true age does not actually change, her body matches whatever years she went through. If she wishes to enthrall people with her charms, she will take on the form of a child girl who's quite playful and mischievous. If she desires to take on a much older form, she simply accelerates her body, aging it towards adulthood. Since people undoubtedly change over time, the same laws of aging and reverting apply to Iori. Sure, she will definitely resemble Iori Sugiura but thanks to this one irrefutable fact, it is hard to discern who she really is.

In addition, it allows her to move around freely without attracting much attention. It can be used for reconnaissance as well as simply restoring her energy over time after hard fought battles. The drawback to the technique is that while Iori's age reverts, so too does her abilities. The more she decelerates and reverts into younger forms, the bigger loss of abilities. First of all, Iori's younger bodies would find it very difficult to manipulate her powers due to their tremendous strength and force, as well as the eventual strain it puts on the body. Moreover, the younger forms can be likened to recovery states and must not be used in battle. In other words, it is something that is only built for recon, avoiding attention, and relaxation.

Chrono Vision: Perceiving time through peripheral vision. Such is the power of this technique. It affects the way that Iori views time apart from everyone else. As humans, we perceive time by minutes which then transfer into hour and finally ends with a single day and then extends into weeks and finally ends with a year. That said, humans also perceive time differently within the world. Some feel that time goes by fast when they are enjoying themselves, and others believe it goes painstakingly slow when their forced to live through their boredom. Of course, we also go through things where we wish time could slow down or go faster, and we even wonder what could have happened if we pursued another decision. Through this ability, Iori is able to perform a myriad of abilities thanks to her time-enhanced vision. She can condense time within her sight alone and perceive things in a wholly different manner. To understand what she is capable of it is broken into multiple parts. It is one of her stronger time based techniques because of its versatility. Each part is split up piece by piece, ensuring that she will be given enough time to decipher, Plan out strategies, and come up with the appropriate action when the situation calls for it.

Accelerated Probability: When Iori accelerates how she views time at high speed, she is capable of seeing paths projected out in front of her, revealing possible courses of action that she can take to seize advantage of the situation. This allows her to avoid danger by perceiving and predicting what the outcome would be if she were to make one move and instantly shift into another one without missing a beat. It can in some ways be likened to precognition. She can only perceive what her eyes can handle. When this specific part of the ability is concerned, she is perceiving multiple paths and which one she should take to avoid suffering a fatal blow. This is particularly useful for many forms of combat. If she happens to utilize this technique during a straight out charge and happens to see that the outcome would be death, she instantly changes her plan of action to avoid suffering a fatal blow. If she happens to be walking into a trap, she can use this precognitive ability to quickly escape from danger - if given enough time. There are many paths and each is built for specific situations. It does not come without its limitations. Since Iori is accelerating how she perceives time through her vision, she can only see into the future long enough to perceive an opponent's next or predictable attack. If she sees a fist, the correct path would automatically warn her of its approach as well as another close combat technique that would follow. And since it is only showing her the correct path she should take, it does not reach the realm of precognition. It comes close, but falls short in that it only allows her to perceive multiple courses of paths and actions to avoid the jaws of death.

Precognition: This is not fit for battle, but it does make up for what Accelerated probability is unable to perform. During sleep or even through her own will, she is able to perceive various timeline's within the world. Like her mentor and master Okabe, she can perceive events throughout all of time and the negatives and positives of both. It requires the utmost of her power to do so and her eyes must be rigidly in tow. She must not allow her vision to falter or she may end up disrupting the flow of her eyesight. When she is uninterrupted, she is capable of viewing the future through along her own timeline and at times, the timeline's of others. By touching objects, Iori is even capable of using psychometry. If she touches an object, she can obtain historical memories or sensations concerning objects they touch. This allows her to perceive various details such as who possessed the item, who wore it(if it was a piece of clothing) and for weapons, which great warrior wielded it during their prime. She can mentally and visibly project moments in time for her own observation though they are destined to change due to how time is always ever changing. She can leave an imprint so that if someone wished to follow her and needed a clue as to where she was, they can delve into the psychic imprint and find her thanks to touching the object. And lastly, she can use her precognition to learn of a person's health. So, Serious health problems that could be fatal, can be prevented over time with the right cure. As long as she could see it, she could even save certain peoples lives depending on the situation and the overall outcome. The last of what she is able to see is the past and what occurred within. Usually, she is only able to perceive her own past, but if she is allowed to touch someone and stare into their eyes, she can perceive what happened to them in their past and create a mental bond with them depending on how tragic and traumatizing the situation was. The weaknesses of precognition is that it cannot be used in multiple succession. It can only be used 3 to 4 times within weeks, months, or years. In addition, she is unable to view these timeline's correctly. Her precognition like most is not definite. While the past is definite and has already occurred, the future is not so clear. Moreover, she can only use it with uttermost concentration, as any mistake could ultimately cause her to go permanently blind.

Muso: Muso is the pinnacle of Iori's mastery over the martial arts, an ancient technique from china that is the ultimate stage in any master of kung fu's training, the final stage that is sought for after years of training one's mind and body in the way of Qi and enlightenment.

It is built on principles of Qigong, Jing, and Dantian, which consists of aligning one's self with their breathing, meridians, and meditation. Qigong is the practice of honing one's energy over extensive years of training. It is traditionally viewed as a practice to cultivate and balance life energy and is customarily defined by rhythmical breathing and coordinated with slow stylized repetition of fluid movement and a calm mindful state.

From a philosophical perspective qigong is believed to help develop human potential, allow access to higher realms of awareness, and awaken one's "true nature". Dantian is described as the center of One's Qi. Most utilized, is the lower dantian or the area below one's navel.

The lower Dantian is particularly important due to it being the focal point of breathing technique as well as the center of balance and gravity. And Jing or "essence" is described as the internal energy that is the basis of internal kung fu or Neijia. It is said to be the material basis for the physical body and is yīn in nature, which means it nourishes, fuels, and cools the body. In other words, Muso can be described as a state of "Tranquil Fury", a stage beyond anything normal martial artists can ever reach. Not only does her body feel as though it is becoming as light as a feather, but it truly puts her spirit at peace. That is not all, however. In battle it becomes a significant weapon with which Iori is able to counter, react, and attack all in one fluid motion.

Typhoon Fist: This move is used to make an ordinary punch more powerful and destructive. By thrusting a fist forward, the upper half of the arm is engulfed in rapidly swirling winds, which congregate into a small tip right above the fist, creating a drill composed of rapidly spinning winds. This attack can be used either in the air or in the ground, and can be used to drill into highly durable armor and obstructions. This attack can be used with both arms at once, to add even more damage in total.

Genocide Cutter: Using the manipulation of wind, a foray of razor thin, cutting arcs is unleashed through several swift movements of the legs. These cutting arcs are efficent in slicing through durable substances such as hierro, and can be used to sunder and slice the opposition several times in a single second. The main method of using this is by rising up into the air whilst swinging the back leg (in the receiver's perspective) in an upwards arc, stopping when the foot is above the head, creating a lengthy crescent of cutting winds. To continue the attack, the back foot is quickly lowered, whilst the front foot is brought upwards, beyond the head, creating a second arc of cutting winds right after the first one immediately after the first, adding even more damage over the first attack.

Diving Gull: This is a technique to counter a physical attack from either the air, or the ground. The user poses herself, in dragon stance, with her front leg stretched far out, the foot positioned in front, and with the other leg nestled right next to the thigh, in preparation for the attack. Immediately afterwards, the user leaps up into the air, twirling 360 degrees, creating a short lived cyclone of strongly spinning winds, used to knock any incoming opponents off, whilst launching them upwards from the impact, temporarily stunned from the force of the attack. If done correctly, the opponent(s) should be right below the user. Then, a powerful dive kick is unleashed onto the opponent, with rapidly spinning winds surrounding the user's leg, making it a large drill. As a result, the opponent should be hurled deep into the ground, the spinning winds digging a hole into the area hit by the swift dive kick.

Tornado Piledriver: In the case that the opponent has been successfully grabbed from behind, this move can be used to subdue the adversary. Whilst keeping a tight grip on the victim, the user launches herself high up into the air, whilst spinning, enveloping the duo in a set of swirling winds. As the two travel higher and higher, the spinning becomes faster and faster, eventually turning centrifugal, the two being fully obscured in a small tornado. By the time the whirling cylinder hits the ground, a large explosion will occur, creating a crater spanning from 10-30 meters in diameter due to the intense force of impact. This attack is evermore useful the heavier the opponent is, and can be used to cause heavy damage onto the head.

Counter Cannon Burial Fist: The user utilizes a devastating counter towards a punch upfront. The user blocks with the arm that is opposite of the opponent, (Right block to left fist, for example.)Using an extended outward block to move the hand aside (Bring the arm inwards towards the fist to push it outwards, whist straightening the arm slightly to that the fist is close to the opponent's face), all the while, the vertical fist is tilted downwards, so that the top knuckles point towards the cheek of the opponent. Immediately after the block, the user flicks the fist upwards, the bottom knuckles striking the face of the opponent. Although the movement is subtle, a great amount of power is focused on the movement, resulting in a powerful hit right in the face, with enough force to send the enemy flying backwards a few meters. This technique is especially useful when fighting against tank type enemies, whose durable features make it difficult to cause any serious damage, or penetrate.

Talon's grasp: This attack is useful against a person upfront who is thrusting their sword directly forward. The user quickly brings one foot up northwest for the left foot, and northeast for the right foot, to move away from the blade being lunged forward, whilst keeping the back leg out, the entire foot nestled on the ground, rather than just the toes or the ball. The user then proceeds to send the hand opposite to the foot right into the opponent's face, gripping hard onto it, while unleashing a strong hook with the other hand into the back of the kidney of the opponent. As this happens, the back foot is quickly maneuvered right behind the back of the opponent's front foot. Keeping the foot sturdy, while pushing the opponent back by the face, and forward, through the fist, will send the opponent to the ground, lying on the back. This is a perfect set up to follow in with a second blow whilst the enemy is down, on the ground. Considering How powerful Iori's physical strength is, it is not unlikely that the next attack performed after this is always fatal.

Unnamed Technique: This move is best used against a person who lunges both arms/blades directly forward. The user utilizes what is known as a wedge block, which is bringing both hands together whilst wedging them in between the arms of the opponent, quickly separating the hands to spread apart the opponents arms to prevent the attack from hitting the user, doing so by either pressing against the forearm, or the wrists of the opponent. The user then quickly brings the hands towards the sides of the opponent's neck in unison, which should, at the very least, stun the adversary from the force of impact, if not cause some damage to the neck if enough force was applied. The hands are then quickly brought back, parallel to the shoulders, before immediately launching a pair of half-fists, with the palms facing the opponent, right into the face, thrusting the enemy backwards from the force, usually sending the opponent to the ground.

Guillotine's Drop: To be able to use this attack, the user must have successfully grabbed the wrist of the opponent, first, with the hand opposite of the hand of the opponent. Upon grabbing the wrist, the user quickly makes her way behind the opponent, keeping a firm grip on the wrist, whilst pressing the forearm of the other arm against the tricep of the arm, pressing onto the sensitive area, and rubbing hard against it, creating an arm-bar, the immense pressure from this lock being enough to cause the person to bend forward. Whence the opponent has bent forward, the user brings a leg high above the opponents head, and brings it down hard onto the back of the noggin, in a powerful Axe Kick, quickly letting go after impact. This technique is useful for dispatching a single enemy, or at least induce some disorientation from the strong impact. When coupled with Genocide Cutter, this could be used to fatally truncate the opponents head off.

They can be hit by a very strong attack, causing them to disintegrate into reiatsu. Through iori's own ingenuity, she has devised a way of bringing out even more power with this technique. When used in combination with her time abilities she is capable of making clones that appear all around the opponent, to not only trick and hinder their performance but confuse them until they reach the boiling point. An angry warrior is a useless warrior. The limit of clones confers to how long her time abilities are in play. For example, if she were to accelerate her time she could in theory - create 100 clones before having to deactivate her time abilities or watch her velocity and speed, since there is only so much speed that can be gained by utilizing time manipulation. Now, an even trickier way of using this technique in conjunction with her time abilities would be to decelerate instead of accelerate, because not only is the time of the clones slowed down, but she's also able to prepare herself for large scale energy attacks or opponents who may well be as fast as her.

Bajiquan: This vaunted art is the supreme expression and unity of Iori’s physical strength and mastery of hand-to-hand combat. While other styles enthrall the spectators with fluidity and elegance, Bajiquan leaves them absolutely breathless at the emission of power and ferocity behind every single strike. In order to attain the knowledge needed to hone and master the techniques of Baji, the student must first learn breath control. Breath control constitutes the basic characteristic element of bajiquan’s power emission, and is what makes bajiquan unique among other styles of martial arts. Breath control is also what separates Chinese martial arts from other styles of pugilism. There are many different ways to practice and train breath control, but they can be lumped into two major uses — breathing to develop and nurture the body, and breathe control during engagement with an opponent. In combat, breathing control ensures these four things; Establishing and maintaining balance and lower body strength (rooting). Increase in the force and magnitude of attacks; the strengthening of the muscles and ligaments inside the body and coordinating body, mind, intent, energy, power and spirit. Lower body strength is especially crucial.

New initiates into the Bajiquan curriculum must learn how to establish a root before they’ll be taught anything else. The Horse Stance or – Ma bu – teaches the student how to maintain a rooted posture, one that prevents staggering or losing concentration during battle. Horse stance training is incredibly arduous. Most students grit and grimace at maintaining the posture for hours on end, and some even quit midway, finding it too difficult to master. For those like Iori, a woman borne aloft on the wings of genius, through pure determination, she was able to master the horse stance and move on to learning techniques. The breathing control, therefore, helps to maintain an excellent posture and rooting for training as much as it does for battle. During power emission, breath control allows for the energy to be transferred to the lower parts of your body. Energy travels from the Dantian, through both of the legs, enters the feet and finally exits the body through the sole of the foot. This is why most practitioners put emphasis on employment of stamping with the feet. At the instant that you use breath control for power emission, every part of your body will fill to the brim with energy. Overflowing your entire body with energy will temporarily increase your body’s constitution and enable you to endure attacks and deflect attacks with little to no pain. If you ever find yourself in a fighting situation with not enough time to block, dodge, parry, or deflect your opponents attack, you can use your breath control to emit power to each of your limbs and increase your body’s natural defense levels; in other words, you will take the hit but it should cause less damage. With correct practice, you can even use breath control as a reflective attack against an opponent — the more power he uses to hit you with, the more he will hurt himself. Once the student has mastered everything outlined above, he will be taught where and how to hit the body of his foe.

Bajiquan concentrates on using the momentum of the body during its fall. Rather than placing emphasis on the stamp itself to generate energy, the intent in Bajiquan is to use the energy that is gained from the falling motion. The stamp is built to prevent the loss of kinetic energy the body gains from the momentum gained during the body’s fall. The energy gained from the falling momentum of the body is then converted into power that travels from the lower body and then directly towards the limbs. This is known as the charging step or Zhen Jiao. Another central part of mastering Bajiquan is learning how to utilize “Fa Jing” or explosive energy. By discharging the energy of the body falling at high speed, the sudden outburst of power adds strength to the strike itself; therefore the practitioner has no need to worry about placing emphasis on any part of his body except the sole of his foot. Of course, in order to master the charging step, one must possess a body built to do so. Meager warriors usually tend to experience pain from how much shock they suffer due to the force of the charging step. Fundamentally, Bajiquan is not about mastery of technique but strengthening of the body. Once the individual has learned to maintain each stance, the strength and force of his strikes are increased immeasurably.

During battle, Baji practitioners usually focus on executing strikes with the elbow, knee, arm and fist, hips, and shoulder. This is what allows them to apprehend and defeat their opponent in a single blow. It is rumored that true masters can even kill their foes with a single strike directed at their internal organs. Iori who possesses strength that defies normal human law, is capable of not only this, but has even shown that she can tear an opponent’s organs apart from the inside as well as rendering all movements of their body futile by paralyzing physical shock or breaking their bones. There are other nuances such as the six big ways of opening, footwork such as Nian Bu and chiang bu as well as the aforementioned Zhen Jiao, and each of these ultimately allow the practitioner to refine the mechanics of his body as well as executing powerful strikes with maximum efficiency. Iori, who was taught from one of the famous innovators of the art himself, Li shuwen, has mastered everything that Bajiquan has to offer. This is why, when there have been cases where she is forced to rely on where to hit instead of her strength, that she has always been able to execute the best technique with superior efficiency. For Iori, Bajiquan’s “no-nonsense” mind set is her ideal philosophy in any battle. She can strike from long range to short range, close the distance between her opponents in a fraction of a second, and execute the strike in a single merciless instant. She makes it painstakingly clear that she is a master of her art and that no opponent is safe from her physical might.

Senshippo: Senshippo or “Flashing arrow step” is a technique that utilizes the element of surprise to its ultimate extent. The purpose of this deadly offensive is to conceal your presence of movement, thereby leaving the opponent defenseless against Iori’s full force strike. This fearsome technique leaves little room for error. To execute it requires only uttermost concentration and relentless cunning. Utilizing the Moving stance or “Left leg to left leg mode” Iori takes a slight step forward with her left leg as the axis. This stealthy step-in allows her movement to go unannounced, thereby concealing the intent to attack against her opponent. Only an opponent with extremely enhanced senses would be able to catch the lightning fast transition from stillness to action.

Sliding forward with her left leg, Iori disappears from the opponent’s line of sight, appearing before them like a reaper of death, her hand the scythe of absolute and swift punishment. Not only does this serve to catch the opponent off guard, it allows Iori to conceal her intent even at point-blank range. How can they possibly block an attack that they cannot see coming? At the moment directly before she executes her technique, she moves from a left Four-Six Stance to a left Bow-Arrow Stance. This stance takes Iori directly into a position where Bajiquan can exert its greatest power – close range. With a powerful step forward using “Zhen Jiao” Iori’s strike gains killing force.

The power of this emphatic step-in sends Iori’s fist shooting forward like a boulder, targeting the enemy’s heart. This strike upon contact is said to equal the sensation of having a grenade explode directly in front of your chest, and due to Iori’s herculean strength, is capable of killing a man in one single merciless strike. Once the destructive blow connects, the opponent will be sent back by an unprecedented 3000 meters, their body flying through the air like a strand of hay. The sheer, unforgiving force of this attack can tear apart the thoracic cavity of the opponent’s body, pounding the opponent’s lung and heart into nothing more than a mesh of meat. Should the strike hit anywhere else, for example, the shoulder or stomach, the damage will spread to all parts of the body, severing connection to the opponent’s meridians or completely crushing and damaging the bones in her opponent’s body.

Tetsuzankou: Striking in from a long or close range, Tetsuzankou can be used to evade the opponent defensively or strike them offensively. By performing a crouching turn-step with the right leg, Iori charges her opponent with her right shoulder. Like many of the techniques in Baji’s repertoire, it can be performed from long distance to close distance. The speed of the turning step adds momentum to the shoulder charge, allowing her to close the distance towards her opponent in a fraction of a second. With the addition of time manipulation or manipulating the airflow around her feet, the turn-step can travel 1200 to even 5000(maximum) meters, and the transition from the turning step to the shoulder charge makes this technique all but impossible to evade. Upon collision, the opponent will suffer a number of damages depending on where they suffered contact. Should she strike the ribs, not only will they break under duress but the blunt damage will even tear apart their skin on the outside, creating an even more gruesome wound. If she strikes the midsection, the damage is applied to the organs causing irreparable harm to the body which can lead to them suffering a myriad of fatal effects, such as internal bleeding, organ failure, and heavy vomiting. Unlike Senshippo, however, it cannot completely kill the opponent with a single strike. Using the technique defensively, Iori does not attack and instead allows her opponent to take the initiative. Once they’ve taken the bait, if the opponent executes a forward punch or sword thrust, or doesn’t even strike at all, she nimbly slides past the opponent’s left or right side and executes the powerful shoulder charge with unrelenting ferocity slamming against them like an extremely heavy wrecking ball.

Senkyutai: While not particularly used for its strength, Senkyutai finds its best worth in evasion and high speed precision. It is initiated by dropping to the ground, rolling your body forward with instantaneous speed. The distance of the roll is determined by how much force Iori puts on her body during the dropping motion. Rolling her body at twice or three times the speed is normal causes the body to gain momentum. At moment of execution, Iori instantly pushes herself upwards with her hands, sending her body high into the air, performing a powerful upward kick in a single motion. The speed of this technique is equal to that of a bolt of lightning, springing towards you from the ground. Using the momentum from the push-off with her hands adds kinetic energy to the upwards kick, thereby adding killing force to the strike. The force of the strike is so powerful that depending on the power she gains from pushing off the ground plus the kinetic energy gained during the upwards motion, she can catch an opponent in the middle of their attack – a sword slash or a technique that utilizes charging – and not only disrupt their timing, but destroy their skull on contact by placing power on the sole of her foot. She can manipulate the airflow add even more velocity to her body during its roll, and during the upwards blow, she can add infinitely sharp and slicing high-velocity wind around her foot, thereby giving it enough power to actually slice through and cut the opponent’s head off. Thus the power of the technique is dependent solely on how much momentum is gained during the moment when her body is rolling on the ground. There exists another variation of Senkyutai known as “Tenshin Senkyutai”. Whereas Senkuytai features only one strike, this technique is completed with a consecutive series of attacks. There are two versions of this technique. The first is performed once again, by pushing off with her hands up into the air for the upwards kick. If the first connects, good. If it does not, she performs three high forward kicks to the opponent’s face, applying the maximum amount of force to the consecutive string of attacks. Even if fails in killing the opponent, any one of her kicks with her strength behind it is capable of causing extreme amounts of discomfort inside the opponent’s body, preferably the cranium. She could bust their head open, for example, or if they happen to be more enduring than the normal warrior, cause them to suffer extreme damages such as concussions and fracturing of the skull. The second version is performed where Iori executes a flurry of powerful, high speed kicks then two forward high kicks to the face for good measure, sending the opponent flying off into the air.

Byakko Soshoda: Byakko Soshoda or “White Tiger Twin Palm strike”, is simple in execution and doesn’t particularly require much effort to perform. Like Iori’s other hand to hand techniques, distance is not a problem and does not hinder this two-handed strike in the slightest. It is usually performed and executed against a charging opponent. If they possess a katana – Nodachi, wazikashi or Tachi for example - Iori can simply grab the blade with her hands and pull them forward, and then execute the twin-palm strike. With an opponent who possesses no such weapon, if they charge towards her in hopes of punching her, she can simply preempt the punch and execute a simple two-handed pushing motion strike at the level of her abdomen. The damage from this technique is usually not used to kill, but to disrupt the opponent from executing their own attack. The force and ferocity of the two-palm strike is dependent solely upon how much force Iori places inside her hands. With maximum force, she can send the opponent flying and if they happen to land back-first into an exceedingly dense tree or a wall made of tough material, they will feel as though their entire body was hit by a freight train at high speed. They’ll even feel as though the oxygen in their body has left them and find it difficult to breathe due to the collision. Whatever the case, suffering damage from it is far from easy to recover from. Even if it isn’t used to kill, it creates a significant time lag between the opponent’s defenses and the time it takes them to recover from the force of her attack.

Prologue

On the momentous night of a full moon, Iori Sugiura was born. In giving birth to such a wonderful child, Misaiko had expended every ounce of energy during labor, using every fiber of her will to see this child brought into this world – and now, she is jubilant. Although she had already gone through this laborious sequence of events in the past, experiencing the happiness of bearing a child once again warms her kind heart. Cradling the tiny soul within her arms, she reverently hummed a nursery rhyme to quell the tears of the exuberant baby. Surrounded by a room of her closest individuals, Misaiko could not help but blush in embarrassment. The haggard appearance she possessed at the current moment was a far cry from the elegant grace that everyone knew her for. Nevertheless, in spite of such a difficult birth, nothing but joy and glee suffuse Misaiko’s spirit at this moment.

“My second child…. Ahh, just uttering that single sentence fills the entirety of my soul with happiness. Odysseus, my love, come give your new loving daughter a kiss upon her head. She is sleeping, but I’m sure she’ll smile once she knows that she is the daughter of a loving father. “

Standing at her beloved’s bedside, the King – Odysseus le Rouge de Loi – gently embraced his loving wife, caring naught for her exhausted visage. His queen bore him a second child, one that would no doubt walk a path of glory and fame. His love for the woman beside him far surpassed the arrogance he carried himself with to the general populous. To him, Misaiko was his entire world. As a beauty crafted by the gods, Odysseus saw fit to give her everything in the world she desired. And now, he was rewarded with his second daughter. Leaning forward towards the baby nestled within his lover’s arms, the handsome king gently planted a loving kiss upon his daughter’s head. At this, the peaceful sleeping face of the baby shivered, and in moments, she awoke once again. Staring at the man hovering over her head, the beloved child gently placed her hands against her father’s face. A warm smile graced his handsome features, and Misaiko felt as though her heart was close to bursting from witnessing such a heartwarming sight.

“To think that she’s already fond of her father in such a short time, Oddyseus - this child is wonderful, she is amazing. There are truly no words that i can use to describe the joy i have seeing you two right now. Were i not so exhausted, i would envelope you both within my arms, and never let go. "

“She truly is such a lovely little girl. This marvelous bundle of joy can only bring great things to the future of our people. Misaiko, have you decided on a name for the child? ”

“Oh yes, I have my magnificent king. From this day henceforth, she will be named....
Iori."

Chapter 1 - Birth and Childhood

They say that a special birth can only bring forth a very unique child, and Iori was no exception to this inviolable rule. Born on the night of a full moon, she was held lovingly within her mother’s arms, as her father planted a loving kiss upon her head to herald his daughter’s beginning. Even at birth, the inhuman strength that would define her was already manifesting itself, as whenever her mother or father held onto her fingers, they would feel a tight and unrelenting grip from Iori’s delicately soft baby hands.

From this day forward, both Misaiko and Oddyseus knew that their daughter was fated to become an amazing warrior, one possessing immense beauty and enormous strength. During her life as a baby, Iori was very fond of her mother and father, wasting little time in showing them her affection. In the afternoon, she would follow them everywhere they could take her. At night, when Misaiko attempted to put her to sleep, she would surreptitiously wait until the most opportune time presented itself, escaping her decorative crib in lieu of lying with the couple during bedtime.

Due to Saeko’s betrayal, along with Misaiko and Odysseus inability to officially declare that she was pregnant with Shiori, therefore rendering any chance of their first daughter ever usurping the throne, Iori was the de-facto next in line to become queen. Nevertheless, this presented no burden in her life, as she continued to grow, lavished by the love of an affectionate mother and faithful father.

Moreover, they believed unerringly that – come hell or high water – Iori would remain steadfast before all adversity, carrying the title of ‘Queen of Sugiura’ with more, if not better, rule than Misaiko herself. She was their legacy, a pillar of the future to come. With the teachings of a Queen who could treat her followers with kindness – yet rule with an iron fist – and the firm but strict ideals of a great King, Iori was destined to become one of the greatest rulers this land had ever witnessed. In time, Iori grew at an exponential rate, and as she continued to grow, so too did her strength.

At an age where she was deemed a full grown child, Misaiko's peers would often stare dumbstruck as they witnessed Iori lift things three times her size. Even the queen was astounded by how her daughter could possess such physical power; she was showing signs of a budding warrior and although she was proud of her daughter's strength, she often worried how her daughter would be accepted by the village children. During her eventful childhood, Iori would often wander outside to play with other kids, hoping to make as many friends as possible. One day, however, in a moment of adrenaline-induced rush, she accidentally broke the arm of her one and only childhood friend.

Mihiko - the single girl that befriended Iori - continued to play with her despite Iori's heartfelt mistake but others derided her as a monster in the form of a child. Moreover, all of the commoner's parents - who secretly despised the king and queen at the time - thought it was a fruitless pursuit to befriend a daughter of royalty, even if her mother encouraged such equality. Soon thereafter, Mihiko's mother ordered the girl to ignore Iori at all times, and cruelly forced her to vow that she would never see the crimson haired child ever again.

For the very first time in her life, Iori experienced the cold sensation of loneliness and its weight on her heart became as heavy as an ocean. Seeking out guidance, Iori went to her father and he told her thus, "Those peasants who avoid you are unworthy of your company, my future queen. they run away from you because they fear the power you will possess. Hold onto that power. Certainly, it will guide you in the future.“ Although Oddyseus did not foresee the effect his words would have on Iori later in her life, his advice was more of an omen rather than advice. Nevertheless, as his loyal child, she took these words to heart; she didn't need validation from anyone, she was a mighty force all on her own.

In her pre-teenage years, her mother would give birth to Midori Sugiura, Iori's official sister. Iori was filled with jubilation at the news. Finally, she would have her own friend, for surely, this young Midori would look up to her sister with reverence and respect. And as fate would have it, the heavens saw fit to grant Iori her silent prayer. Midori was a breath of fresh air, and her adorable smile was enough to quell any possible jealousy Iori may have had from the outset. There was a small sibling rivalry, of course, but it could be said that Midori looked to her sister as a means of improving herself rather than having a desire to surpass her. This sibling bond was everlasting. And while they did fight on rare occasions - probably over their favorite toy, or extra food perhaps - it never escalated into a full scale argument. Iori's role as the bigger sister was flawless. And as always, Midori continued to follow her around as her loyal, compassionate little sister. As time progressed, Iori and Midori found themselves frequently wandering out into the city. This time, instead of a pursuit for friendship, what they found was a scene that would enthrall their hearts for years to come. It was their very first taste of Chinese Wushu. Two stalwart men training in foreign clothing, executing techniques and movements that were at first, precise and fluid - only to rise into a series of strikes that were filled with power and might; causing the ground below to moan in reply to their fervor. The two sisters could only stare in awe at this wonderful, majestic sight taking place before them. Their techniques were calling out to the warrior spirit of the fair young ladies. After witnessing such an amazing exhibition, the two young sisters ran towards the martial artists, dousing them with much praise. The two young men would soon depart thereafter, but not without telling the two girls where they learned their uniquely enthralling art forms from. Immediately after the young men's departure, the girls rushed home and hit their mom with a sudden, surprising request.

"We wish to learn Chinese Martial arts!" They yelled in exultation. Their request was filled with passion, attesting to their eagerness to pursue this new journey. Odysseus outright refused the girls request, mostly due, some would think, to his upbringing. Misaiko, on the other hand, accepted their request and decided that ultimately, nothing bad would come of this endeavor. And so, the family descended towards Northern china, from where Bājíquán and Piguaquan first originated. Soon after arrival, most of them made it a rule to keep low profiles during this vacation, seeing as though they were a race that humans had not yet perceived, or needless to say, come into contact with. During a meeting which required long hours of traveling for the enigmatic queen, she came to a decision as to who their teacher would be. He was the legendary, some might say savage, Li Shuwen. He was a man regarded for his peerless skill in the martial art world, and his destructive and fatal techniques. His most famous quote - one that would ultimately define his existence as a fighter - was: "I do not know what it's like to hit a man twice." This is the quote that caused him to gain prominence among his peers and it was clear from a glance, that these words were no mere boast. Indeed, this man who could end any battle with one single strike, never experienced the privilege of prolonged battle. As a proficienado of Bājíquán, it was he who reunited Baji and Pigua as a single collective art. Li shuwen's skill with Bājíquán and Piguaquan was nothing compared to his godlike skill with the spear. His precision in mastering his most favored weapon earned him the name of "God Spear Li". To this day, spear training is taught alongside Bājíquán as one of it's most extraordinary weapon forms due to Li's proficient mastery. Of course, there were many who questioned Misaiko's decision to choose him of all people as a teacher, especially with his volatile personality and dangerous reputation. it was this choice in judgement, however, that would lead her sisters to becoming fearsome warriors during their stay.

Although Li shuwen had the rather unscrupulous reputation of being a murderer due to his boasts of how each strike would spell about his opponent's end, as a person, his impassioned dedication to the martial arts is what allowed him to accept Iori and Midori under his wing . Iori and Midori, even though they were females among males, proved to Li shuwen that their thirst for learning his arts was indeed genuine. It was clear that these two girls had potential. Each specialized in what brought their heart contentment. For Iori, it was the fierce no-holds-barred Bājíquán - or -Eight Extremities Fist. Midori's choice of Chinese kungfu was Bājíquán's sister art, Piguaquan - Chop Hanging Palm. As sister martial artists practicing sister martial arts, the two girls excelled in their respective styles with flying colors. Li shuwen was undoubtedly proud of their progress and continued to watch the girls flourish into amazing warriors.

During her time as a student under Li Shuwen, Iori created a strong bond with many of her fellow peers. The fact that she was such a strong girl for one who possessed such a small frame was fascinating and endearing in its own way. There was one other person who caught this young girl's attention the most besides her teacher and her name was.... Natalia Ashmourne. Out of all the students that attended Li shuwen's teachings, she excelled at each of them with peerless grace, even more so than Iori. Most would feel themselves jealous to see that someone had surpassed them in their most prolific field, and yet Iori did nothing but admire her skill. Most believed that Natalia would've been the closest to joining the ranks of Bājíquán masters, but in truth, she had no intention of becoming a master - she merely desired to learn another style of combat that would do good in helping her protect herself in future endeavors.

Since Iori had a habit of avoiding others, caging herself away from anyone else other than her family, she found it difficult to confront Natalia, so all she could do was follow the woman around every single day she arrived. Finding this utterly annoying and most of all, unnerving, she confronted Iori, calmly questioning her with absolute stoicism. "Little one, for what reason do you follow me?" Her tone was curt, her words cutting straight to the point like a sharp blade through the throat. Iori gulped, turning her head to the side, searching for the precise words to express her emotions. After gathering the right syllables and piecing them together, she spoke thus to the woman. "I.... admire you." Her words seemed to trail off as they flowed from her mouth, but she steeled herself and continued. There was no turning back. She could only express herself here and now. "Your technique, your grace, and even your beauty as a woman leave me in awe... and..." She looked deep into the eyes of Natalia and said, "I want you to be my goal, to strive to your level and reach the pinnacles of a genius! Just like you!" At first, Natalia blinked, caught off guard by her confession, yet it did little to perturb her, let alone send her away. She smiled, patting Iori upon her head and from that day thereon, the two became proverbial siblings. Iori, due to size and personality, was no doubt the little sister - and Natalia, with her maturity and calm persona, was the bigger sister of the two. On days spent in peaceful tranquility, Iori would always run to find Natalia and choose the woman as her sole training partner. Their bond went beyond friendship. It was as though they were truly connected, as though they shared the same sentiments and ideals.

They would always enjoy meals together, each and everyone prepared to perfection by Natalia. Most of the food was positively divine, but what really left its imprint on the mind of the young girl was her stew. Time and time again, she would always ask for the recipe, but Natalia would usually tease and string her along, playing guessing games as to how she prepared it. These two girls were inseparable, their bond, unshakable. But lo, fate had always had the cruel and mischievous penchant for driving companions away from her. During their last few days spent together, news arrived that their teacher had died after being served poison by an unknown assailant. Seeing as though Natalia had mastered everything Li could offer, the only reason she kept coming was to see Iori. However, deep in her heart, she knew their relationship could not last forever. She was a woman who desired knowledge, but her main goal was always living her life in secrecy, due to the fact that, housed within her lied the goddess of life, Aisha.

On their very last day together, Iori ran miles and miles to catch Natalia before she departed. Deep within her heart she wondered, would a possible reunion come into fruition between these two? Or would she, like everyone else, become another lost friend? Knowing her worries and hating herself all the more for it, Natalia assured the young girl that they would meet again one day. And after having her last goodbye meal with the young maiden, she departed to another path in her life and into history. Iori, too, soon left thereafter. Already having become a master at her young age, she simply decided that there was nothing else to learn. News of a new master had reached Iori, and needless to say, she was jubilant beyond all recognition. Once their new master had been given the reigns over their school of kung fu, Iori said goodbye to all of her fellow students and returned to her homeland. At this point in time, Iori was no longer a little girl, but a woman, ready to soar through the world and take hold of it with her very hands.

Chapter 2 - Lone Wolf

Following the years after her departure from Northern China, Iori returned to her homeland and spent most of her time perfecting and honing the knowledge given to her by her late master. Training zealously - without any time in between for relaxation - caused her mother and father great worry. Iori had no desire to relax, nor did she intend on making friends with anyone. In fact, she held great contempt towards befriending people ever since her childhood. Her reticence towards socialization was further compounded by her stoic older sister, Shiori. Shiori was a rather extreme example of what business over pleasure could produce. Her skill in all forms of combat and her power were completely breathtaking to Iori. Iori aspired to reach her level, believing that pleasantries of any sort would only dilute that goal. Finding this to be extremely depressing, Misaiko came up with an elaborate plan that would allow her to meet her very first friend and lover, Tsubine Zarkonheinz.

In the dead of the night, the Queen ordered her soldiers to capture the girl during her slumber. Iori, who happened to be engrossed within a deep rest, couldn't come up with any plan or preparatory action to save her and thus found herself waking up in the middle of rukongai. When she came to, finding herself laying on the ground in a completely foreign land, she felt a myriad of emotions surging within her heart. Confusion, embarrassment, and anger all came together together to form a tumultuously volatile combination, as she wondered why she was brought into a place such as this. Needless to say, Iori was not happy with this forceful approach to improve her socializing skills and out of anger, started causing destruction all across the Seiretei. Through this method, she would surely force her mother into letting her return to her homeland. Her destructive reign would finally come to an end when one special man confronted her.

He was the fourth seated officer of the thirteenth division in the Gotei 13, Tsubine Zarkonheiz. At the outset, his goal was to simply apprehend her and bring the woman in for questioning but he eventually found himself befriending the rather uncontrollable, unpredictable girl. He did successfully capture her, of course, but never directly brought her to the Gotei thirteen to be thrown into the maggots nest, a cesspool of all the criminals the Soul society had ever known. Instead he brought her to the squad 13 barracks. At first, Iori was clearly reticent towards such a fate, but it surely beat being put in jail any damn day of the week, she figured. As days passed by, even in this world, Iori continued with her training as a warrior. One day, however, she carelessly mistimed one of her techniques and unfortunately injured her left foot.

Tsubine, who had just arrived in the midst of her training swiftly carried her off and ordered her to relax. Iori chided the man as he cared for her, and yet he continued with a genuinely, warm smile upon his face. As he did this, he decided speak to the red haired warrior. “Hey, why do you always train like a crazed madman? It’s like you’re not even human.“ Iori gave him an incredulous glare and shot venomous words towards him. “Of course I’m not human, dumb ass. After all we’re spirits, and moreover, “ She looked down, inclining her head towards the ground and said, “Training is the only thing that matters, the path of the warrior supersedes all else. “

Iori believed in these words unquestioningly, confidently, with absolute power. And yet, that man was able to cut down her foolish ideal of a warrior with the flawless precision of a neurosurgeon. “You’re wrong. The path of the warrior is one filled with bloodshed, agony and despair. Regrettably, I’m sure all men who have followed this path, have said the same nonsense you spouted out now, and I'll bet all of them died without learning the joys that life has to offer. “ Without giving her even an inkling of a chance to speak, he encircled his arms around the young woman's strong yet feminine frame. “ You've probably never experienced friendship have you? You probably think things like love and companionship are like trappings. In truth, those things are sacred and should be cherished. If you’ll allow me too, I’ll prove to you that there’s more to the world than just meaningless combat.“ Iori was now at a complete loss of words.

Somehow, he had broken all of the barriers that she had been building up to keep others out. And his word’s weren't hollow, they wear honest, heartfelt even, as though he were spilling out his entire heart to a woman he had met merely a few days ago. Relief shined upon her face as she winded her hands around his face and kissed him deeply, without hesitation. There was no lust. There was no sensuality. It was a pure, breathtakingly beautiful, kiss. She pulled away with a mischievous grin - and for the first time - she felt unbelievably exultant as a happiness that she had heretofore thought to be distant filled her heart. “You're such a damn Idiot. I-it’s not like I want your help or anything, “she said as she crossed her arms and turned to the side with an unmistakable blush. “However, I’m not against it. If you truly desire to show me how it is to experience happiness, then I’m placing my trust in you. You better not let me down, okay?” With a much more endearing glare than the one she held for him at the outset, she knew she was in good hands. Tsubine who was instantly thrown off guard by the kiss, nodded with a blush, and from that day forward, a relationship blossomed between the two.

As the days passed by, Iori and Tsubine's budding relationship grew ever stronger. Days which were formerly filled with training, were now spent indulging in the joys of life. Sometimes, the two would find ponds or rivers deep within the soul society and swim together, embracing each other until nightfall. They were always in perfect bliss. Day by day, Iori found herself becoming more human then she could have ever thought possible. Not only had she found herself becoming more kind and prosper, she would even find herself exchanging words of inspiration with Tsubine's fellow division members. She still found time in between to train after her leg healed, except that these times instead of doing things alone, she let Tsubine watch over her progress and even participate in her training. Both believed that with the way things were going, nothing could destroy their ever-growing relationship. The two were a perfect contrast, they balanced each other well. Iori was the loud mouthed, strong-willed, and fearsome woman - while Tsubine was the calm, straightforward, leader whose progress only continued to grow. Indeed, they were inseparable. During a day where Tsubine was allowed to have some free time to himself, he noticed that Iori happened to be sitting atop an oak tree and that her expression was unmistakably....downtrodden. What was plaguing her thoughts? He wondered. For the furious and stalwart woman known as Iori Sugiura, such expressions were quite unusual.

After finding the right words with which to greet her, he finally spoke to the red haired warrior present above him, nestled atop the large tree branch. "Is something bothering you, Iori? You seem to be in a depressive mood," he finished, showing just how clear his worry truly was. Iori, who had kept this expression and position for quite some time, finally noticed Tsubine with worrisome clarity. Taking the time to look to both sides, she exited her vantage point and landed on the ground, making only a quiet pat on the ground upon landing. "Today....I ended up causing some trouble," she said shamefully as she continued to confess to her small crime. "I accidentally punched a girl who dated you for a short time in the jaw.” Iori didn't stop there; she still needed to explain the reason as to why she struck the foolish little knave. "She tried to insult me. She told me that you were only dating me because of my youth or my attitude, and that soon you'll give up on a loud, obnoxious, tomboy like me some day. “If Iori had allowed her anger to escalate to a level where she would openly strike someone in the face without even a single witty retort, then it would no doubt speak to how much truth she felt in the woman's words. Sighing with embarrassment and self-derision, she turned her head to the side with ignominious shame. "I think i punched her because i guess the harlot was right.” Tsubine who had been listening to her entire confession, only decided to reply to the end of her words with a firm denial. "You're wrong," Said the man who had carried Iori through so many difficult times since her arrival here. While everyone who was anyone knew that Tsubine had the reputation of going on dates with various women, it did little to show how faithful he could be when a true lover finally came along. In truth, that was what he had always desired. He had grown to despise women who would simply try and give their bodies to him, or girls who would seek him out for a fling to speak of to their peers. But Iori was different. She was a firecracker, a woman who was as unpredictable as she was pretty and graceful. Her anachronistic style of clothing, her red hair, and her beautifully entrancing eyes and more had always seized his heart. To hell with those girls, they were simply lost in their petty jealousy, obviously crushed by the fact that she among only a hand full of women had truly won the heart of Tsubine Zarkonheinz. "You're amazing Iori, everything about you is absolutely breathtaking. While I'm aware that you've never been the type for overly cheesy love monologues, you're unlike most women I've had the displeasure of meeting. You defied me, you fought back with me, and above all, you didn't openly jump to me like a rat seeking the barest minimum of sustenance. “Tsubine slowly wrapped his hands around her cheeks and brought his nose to her own.

"You've brought me through many strenuous ordeals, each more trying then the last. Had it not been for your persistence and that personality of your's then i wouldn't be making as many strides as i am so far. In fact, Kaien praised you on how much you've made an impact on me. If you can't notice that, then what must i do to let you notice that you're a wonderful lover?" With a deep breath, Iori found her cheeks becoming warmer as clear red became definitively clear upon them. "I, I......" she found herself hesitating with the words, but she knew that resigning from this situation now would do little to dampen her miserable slump.”I want you to make love to me...." "Wa...." Were the only words that left the lips of the man who usually kept a veneer of confidence anywhere he went. Her eyes were pleading....but at the same time, they were strong. It spoke as a testament to how great her love for him was more than any hug, kiss, or sentiment could. "Iori...." She furrowed her eyebrows as she held him with her gaze, stare for stare. "What....?" That was the only word she was allowed to say, as she felt the sensation of warm and firm lips pressed up against her own surprisingly feminine ones. If lovemaking was what she desired, then he would show her the extents of his love for the woman known as Iori Sugiura. And later that night....he did. He had invited her to his own personal quarters - his room - and embraced her once more as he did so earlier that day.

"Are you sure you want this?" Deciding to hold off their imminent lovemaking, it was clearly obvious that Tsubine still held enough respect for this woman to know if she was truly ready. He had always held her with such respect in the past, and the same doubtless went for this moment and would go for the future as well. Iori looked at him with an almost incredulous stare, but she smiled and brushed her fingers along the sides of his hair. "Of course I'm ready, Baka.” Her tone, while flustered, was nevertheless confident to this new chapter in their relationship. There was no need to ask a question that needed no asking. Of course she wanted this. And so, without a single sliver of doubt weighing down either one of these lover's minds, they slowly exited their clothing and moved towards his bed. With his firm, defined arms he carefully set her strikingly feminine body upon the bed. And after kissing her one last time, he spoke thus, "I love you Iori, and i will continue to love you for as long as you want.” Iori smiled as a small minute tear slowly slipped down her cheek, as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "I-I...Love you too," she finished, showing off the most beautiful and mesmerizing smile she had ever shown to anyone. That night, more precious than any, was the night they made love. It was their very first time. And even though their paths would eventually separate, neither regretted it, for it was a memory that would be everlasting within their hearts.

....And yet, and yet for all the power and faith the two put into their relationship, their worlds were simply too far apart. In truth, both of them knew that from beginning, knew that this day would inevitably come. And as all things must come to an end, so too did their relationship. Both were saddened by this departure, but felt content with the fact that their time was time well spent. Misaiko eventually ordered for her soldiers to retrieve her daughter from the soul society, it was time for her to return to her homeland. Iori wanted to curse everything in the world; she would've gladly done so if she could live in a place where only those two could coexist in peace and happiness. Standing at the Senkaimon gate with her back turned towards it, she spoke to the man present, to her Tsubine Zarkonheinz. "Che, Fate really is cruel isn't it?” Without an idea of whom or what she was speaking to, she expressed how much pain she felt. "You really were an amazing guy. And as much as it hurts me, i knew this day would come. But still...still i...." She struggled to speak these words, as though she were climbing Mount Rushmore without a single lifeline in sight. But Tsubine knew. He knew exactly what words wanted to come from her mouth. I don't want to go back to the way i was. Though doubtful of whether his words would work, he smiled with bittersweet courage. If she was going to leave, she was going to leave the woman that he helped forge.

"Iori...I hate the word fate. If i could rant on how many times it's crossed me and this world, then most would deride me as some miserable baby. However," he brought his hands up to her face wiping away her slowly flowing tears. "If you leave this day, please leave as the woman we helped create.” That was all he could say. But, as his words had done before, they were able to turn her reluctance into brevity and eagerness towards the future. After that, not much else was said between them. But before the girl left, she said only two words, "Thank You.” She walked through the gate and returned to her homeland. While she returned with a myriad of bittersweet emotions flowing throughout her heart, she was confident, confident that the future would no doubt bring even happier times. For Tsubine, and for her family, she would finally follow her own path...

Chapter 3 - Seeds of Tragedy.

Upon coming back to the Land of her Sugiuran People, Iori returned with a revitalized spirit and wholly reformed mindset. She was no longer the stoic, unemotional woman that everyone separated themselves from. In fact, her people noticed her change in little to no time at all. She was more amicable to hang around, and would rarely raise her hands in anger or look down upon others with undisguised contempt. This allowed her to truly flourish as a warrior, and the results that she so zealously pursued were finally starting to be realized. Each day felt more rejuvenating than the last. Of course, not all of the negatives could be cut from her personality completely. Nevertheless, this was a successful step in the right direction. And that was all her mother could ask for. She would have to make it her goal one day to thank the man who changed her daughter into such a bright young girl. As time went by, Iori amassed quite the fan base with townsmen and townswomen alike and with some help from her mom and her top of the line architectural contingents, she built her own Dojo. The art of Bājíquán was simply too innovative and unique to be limited to just the people of earth, she wanted to bring the martial arts to her homeland. When she was allowed to travel earth, she brought many masters of martial arts from Kendo and Kung-fu alike, to even masters with obscure techniques that never saw the light of day. It can, therefore, be said that Iori was a critical part of why Martial arts became a common staple among the various training's taught in the Sugiura soldier’s battle regimen. With these deadly styles of war behind them, they soared to greater heights than they could have ever imagined.

One day, when Iori went to a bar with a few of her students, the red haired warrior found herself indulging in one too many drinks. During her inebriated state, she met a woman who would eventually become her new lover, Kasumi Minori Sugiura. One drink led to another, and then that next morning, the two woke up in bed next to each other. It would seem that, through all of their drinking from the night before, that the two girls went to Kasumi's home and copulated with one another all night until they reached supreme bliss and descended into slumber. Iori didn't question anything that happened, surprisingly. From what she remembered, she enjoyed it and savored it even after everything was said and done. While the concepts and thoughts of sleeping with a woman were completely foreign to her, she felt neither disgust nor homophobia. If one were to consider Iori by sexuality, then one could undoubtedly say that by this point, she was clearly bisexual. Though, the lover or person didn't matter, as long as their heart was pure and clear of malice, she would fall in love with even a common citizen. This wasn't the last time Iori would meet with Kasumi, so it was far from a one night stand. In fact, the two hung out quite often after that rather heated night. And as luck would have it, the woman asked if she would like to take their friendship beyond something more, and Iori accepted the offer without an ounce of hesitation.

Iori and Kasumi would often frolic without cares in the world, and the two were always together. The importance of their relationship was never in doubt. They would often visit whenever they had free time, and after deliberate thought the Goddess of victory invited Kasumi to live with her as her guard in the Sugiura Castle. The two became ever closer, and Iori always found herself smiling whenever Kasumi cuddled up to her. She was a very sweet girl. Their love was strong and never faltered. The girl, who was once a trained killer, was finally allowed to live happiness as a woman. And as time passed, she became a suitable bodyguard for her lover. She was definitely living in bliss. But as they say, your past will eventually come back to haunt you. One day, when Kasumi was walking along amid the city streets she was confronted by Iori's beloved student, a man named Daisuke Miwakami. Kasumi, who was allowed to meet most of Iori's closest comrades and friends, simply greeted him with heedless serenity. "Ohaiyou, Daisuke-kun. Shouldn't you be at the Dojo with Iori and your fellow peers?" Daisuke whose head had been down during the entire time simply raised his head and when she saw his eyes she could clearly sense that he wasn't here for greetings of any sort. In his eyes, all that was visible was nothing but pure, contemptuous killing intent. While the trained assassin still existed inside of the girl, she felt powerless before that stare. It was as though he didn't even recognize her as human. And then, after this deadly almost choking silence, he spoke. "How long were you going to keep your unforgivable crimes hidden from her!?" His voice was reproachful, reviling her as though she were a repulsive demon spawned from the deepest, basest parts of hell. She felt terror, but not from his voice nor the man himself but the unknown words he had yet to speak. Her eyes were shaking, questioning, lost to the entire situation.

With a frown of absolute disdain and unreserved hate, he drew a blood covered cloth from his pocket. "Out of the many people you killed, one person survived long enough to catch a glimpse at your face, and finally I've found you, however," he stopped, with a low growl, "However, the person who you killed was my brother!" Kasumi had never thought that her past, where she was an emotionless girl who lived with no care as to who died by her hand, would ever come back to haunt her. She had never told Iori, because she believed unerringly that it was all behind her. If this man were to escape here, then he would surely tell Iori and everything would be ruined. He had to be eliminated. That was her Assassin's mind said, but her side as Iori's lover forced her to stay her hand until Daisuke threw the cloth to the ground and came upon the girl like a wild, ravenous tiger. With his fist drawn back like an arrow ready to be released from its bowstring, all of his killing intent, and all of his anger was focused wholly on killing the source of all his hate, Kasumi. Their difference in speed, however, was what quickly decided the battle. Kasumi removed one of the many knives she kept with her in case of emergency and stabbed him directly in the chest. Even till death he cursed her, but he put up no resistance. If she could simply discard the body and bury it then everything would return to normal - that was what supposed to happen.

Alas, the gods had no intention of sparing this woman even the slightest bit of luck. Iori, who had for most of the day, been training with her fellow students, went on a search for both Daisuke and Kasumi and when she rounded the last corner and sensed Kasumi's presence, the scent of blood quickly assaulted her nostrils and she quickly ran towards the source....and...There....there she saw it. There was a knife within the petrified Kasumi's hands and there was her student dead lying on the ground in cold blood. With a scream that pierced the heavens, and one that caused Iori's throat to crack under duress until blood could clearly be seen at her lips, she looked at Kasumi with a look she had never shown anyone before, hate. Absolute, negative hate. "W...Wha...t's the m-meaning of t-this!?" Kasumi was instantly blown out of her stupefied daze, and turned to Iori and gasped. Never before would she have thought that she would ever see Iori with such an expression, at least not one directed straightly at her. "I-Iori...I-It isn't what it looks like, i-i swear-" "How in the hell is this not what it fucking looks like!? I trusted you...I loved you...even admired you..." her voice was hoarse, but anyone could discern the malevolent contempt hidden within. "But i guess i was foolish to think that my trust would get me anywhere far, ahhhh, ahhhh! No, No, all it got me was a damned murderer like you!" Her words were smote upon the ears of the woman who had always worshiped Iori, upon the woman who had always praised her. "I..I'm not! I-it was – an -accident!" Perhaps...Perhaps if she had only told the girl of things sooner, then this fate would've surely been avoided, but it was far too late now. This sight before Iori was her one and only truth. Before Iori could raise her weapon against Kasumi in vehemence, her students quickly ran to her side along with Sugiura Soldiers. By then, Kasumi had disappeared. Never again would these two enjoy their time together as they once did...in the cruelest and most unfortunate of ways, their relationship ended - and inadvertently caused Iori to revert back within her cold hard shell. Yet...that was only the beginning of the destructive fate that would eventually bring an end to the life of the Goddess of Victory. For when she discarded, love, loyalty, and benevolence, her fate was already decided.

Chapter 4 - Journey to Earth

After suffering from her hysteria at the death of her student, and the loss of a woman she trusted with every fiber of her soul, Iori found herself falling deep within the depths of insanity and hatred. She was truly heartbroken and it showed. She tried yet and again to regain the trust that Kasumi shattered, she attempted to love someone again but everything felt awkward. It had reached a point where she would even hallucinate, witnessing past images of her lover in the mirror and the lessons he taught her about life. And yet, she would break down into tears and even more painful depression at the sight of it all. If one thought this woman was as strong as she put on, one need only recall her state at these such times to know the folly of their conjectures. Soon, it became too much and the girl escaped, hoping to find her lover once more. Maybe, just maybe, he would be able to help her recover. But just like her relationship, her plans went astray. The soul society had become reluctant to allowing her to enter the land after the chaos and turmoil she caused within their land long ago. This drove her to a point where she truly started to look down upon others with contempt and maddening disdain. Instead of leaving, she resumed the destruction that Tsubine once stopped and almost no one was able to defeat her. In the end, nobody defeated her and she only stopped after fighting one brave warrior by the name of Ravana ichiro. As he walked to the battlefield, he felt anxious at the thought of fighting this warrior. The day before, he was assaulted by the guffaws and jeers of his fellow peers. How could he defeat a beast like her? That was the question they asked this foolish young boy, and his reply was....

"With undying determination, that's how.”

And with that, he found himself walking here to face the unknown threat. Needless to say, when he finally confronted the culprit, he was taken aback by who he saw. It was a woman. A ravishing woman with anachronistic clothing no one would find in this era, and beautifully well-kept hair. He found himself entranced by her beauty, but quickly shook his head of extraneous thoughts. "It means nothing," he decided. "Even if it is a woman, i will show them that i can defeat her.” And so, without anything hindering his mind, the silver haired warrior placed his left foot before his right and assumed a stance of refined skill. With a grin like a madman, Iori chuckled and berated the man.

"You don't even have a captain's robe, and yet you think you can defeat me? I'll tear you apart for your insolence, fool. “

In response to her enemy's readiness for battle, Iori assumed the ubiquitous stance of Bājíquán, ma bu or Horse stance. The goddess of victory explodes into motion. Bringing her right foot ahead of the left, she kicks off of the ground with breakneck speed, charging towards the man like a mighty bull upon his ever mocking toreador. The silver haired shinigami gulps, easily discerning the ferocity in her eyes and the power in her stance. Most likely, the first attack will be hers’.

Her high speed charge leaves nothing to be desired. The distance between the two closes from 2o meters to 10, 10 to 3 - and 3 to 1, and there he sees the eyes of the wolf spearing him with their gaze. "Hyah!" With every fiber of strength from his muscles coming to bear, Ravana quickly unsheathes his blade and unleashes a powerful high velocity diagonal slash. The lightning fast transition from stillness to action is admirable, but alas the winner of this battle was never in doubt. At the moment the still young shinigami removed his blade from the scabbard to execute his flawless two handed diagonal attack, Iori preempted it by using one of the six big ways of opening in Bājíquán, Ti. With a barely audible sound, she simply slowed her movement at exactly the moment he brought his hand to the sheath. With her left leg as the pivot, she swung her right knee up to his thigh nearly shattering bone in the process, and then, no sooner, seized his sword arm with her right hand, leaving his abdomen open for a strike with her left elbow. Two techniques using the basics of Baji strategy, it seems as though while her mind has went into insanity her techniques have improved beyond compare.

Ravana does not have a body that can endure such an extreme amount of otherworldly strength; it is cruel to ask the man to recover from such vicious techniques. With an almost malicious smile, Iori could see the man toppling backwards with blood spurring from his mouth. Show no mercy, kill him! Annihilate him! Those were the words flowing in the basest and most terrifying parts of her mind, but something inside her caused her to stop before they made it a reality. "What am i becoming!?" With a hysteric scream, she spoke to no one but herself. In the middle of her tormenting tears and depressing lament, she felt a hand around her leg and turned to see the man on the ground. "...Eh?” With a cocky yet strained chuckle, the still-living warrior looks up at Iori with an expression, part agony and part...cockiness? If she were she to tell such a story to anyone else, they would surely deem her crazy. But his expression was far from that of a warrior seconds away from falling within the blankets of death's bed. "I...I'm n-not d-done y-yet...." It took him quite a while to choke out those words, but indeed, this battle to him was far from over even though this woman standing before him could easily snatch his life away with any one of her attacks.

Trembling in abject terror, the girl felt remorse for her actions and knelled down beside him, pressing one of her delicate fingers against his neck. This caused his body to become incredibly heavy, but it was enough to give Iori time to tend to his wounds. She could have killed him. She understood that better than anyone else that faithful day. But it would seem as though she still held the emotions she acquired from her past lover after all. After fixing the exterior damage on his body, she laid him on the ground and prepared to leave. With her thirst for destruction and chaos trampled, she had no desire to cause anymore mayhem. Before she could leave, however, he asked her a question out of curiosity. "Why did you spare me?" She only gave him a curt reply, but it was enough to bolster his resolve once more. "You have potential, that's why. Refine and hone your techniques and when we meet again, we'll see who the better warrior is. Until then, see you around Baka." After that, Iori returned to her homeland once more, but would not stay there long. She had heard of news of her sister traveling to earth. Curious to see that place, she soon set off on a journey to find her. Upon her arrival, Iori was quite enthralled by the hustle and bustle of the cities of earth, preferably the well protected - at this point in time - city of Karakura. She wouldn't find Midori on her first few days, or a few weeks from then. It actually took her 4 months to find Midori. During this time, she spent her days in a hotel in relaxation. While her mind had not yet recovered, she was confident that maybe finding her sister and becoming accustomed to this world would solve her problem. Upon finding her sister, she also met two males who were living with her. One man was a boy who descended from the Iramasha clan, Kin Iramasha. The other was Shadin yuudeshi, a man who would later become the wife of her sister. Needless to say, she was unhappy to see these two men. She hated strangers after her accident. And as time went on, it became clear that she had no intention of befriending either of them. What was even more surprising, however, is that not only did her sister come here but her mother as well. All of these individuals brought together by fate, essentially became closer, but Iori still felt the attachment between everyone growing thinner and thinner. It was becoming unbearable to live around people at this point, but still she tried, confident that things would eventually get better. Eventually, as time went on she came to like Shadin despite his past and the things his inner demon, Oni-chitta, would do to Midori. She actually became quite fond of him and even had an sexual encounter or two with the white haired playboy. Kin, on the other hand, was a different story. The two rarely, if at all, ever saw eye to eye. During her depression, she had come to acquire a great dislike for the weak. So, while she respected Shadin's power, she looked down upon Kin for his weakness with absolute disdain. Needless to say, this would trigger future events that would put not only herself and her family, but the entire world in peril for years to come.

Over the span of her time in Midori's household, she often traveled along with the crew and met many friends. From Snow to Ritsuka, to some of Shadin's fellow comrades and a man who would eventually become her husband and a father to their future child, Hiro Arjan. Still, her turmoil with Kin remained to be one of the biggest factors in her life. No matter what she did, she couldn't bring herself to liking him and would berate him at any given moment. While it caused arguments between Shadin and herself, it wasn't as though the Iramasha would eventually break down from it, right? Absolutely wrong. The constant humiliation he felt from Iori and even from others due to being spiritually inept, only grew in tandem with the loneliness he felt at not being able to fight alongside the man he considered his brother or protect his own loved ones. In the war that would transpire, he would get his wish and the bonds between him and his friends would be forever broken. In the war with the powerful and mighty foe, Ender, the warriors of Karakura and Soul society found themselves in dire straits. His powers and abilities were otherworldly, a level beyond the norm. And with his power, also came followers. Kyoko, Roxxy, Aisu, Hime, Amy, many warriors and more fought under the banner of this evil overlord. For his first target, he sent out a myriad of his soldiers and commanders to attack Karakura as a way to strike fear into the defenders of Karakura. They fought long and they fought hard, and while they did not completely win the battle they had at least succeeded in preventing Karakura's destruction. However, from this day, a warrior who would eventually challenge existence it's self was born. During the war, when everyone was engrossed within their battles, one of Ender's most loyal commanders Hime appeared before Kin and offered him a chance to join their forces and gain the power that he had not with his friends. He thought about what he would be leaving behind, and how his friends, or rather - Shadin would feel at his departure. And after long thought and sweet words from this lady's lips, he embraced her and went down the path of darkness. No one could reach him. By the time the battle was over, every single warrior was exhausted and injured beyond all compare. There was no way they could search for him, and even when they were ready, he was long gone. No one knew that he had joined the forces of Ender. But it ultimately boiled down to two reasons, the thirst for power and the thirst to avenge his pride that was dusted beneath the feet of that filthy mutt whore, Iori Sugiura. Little did they know, this would be only the beginning of their battles to come. The war was not over, not by a long shot.

Chapter 5- The Finale.

A few months after Kin's departure, Iori felt ashamed that she may have very well had a hand in his disappearance. What if he ran towards the battlefield and tried to prove wrong? What if he went in and accepted death at the hands of an enemy soldier? What if he was killed? There were many questions swirling around in her mind, but none of them were quite correct. Everyone's morale was crushed after the first battle with Ender, Shadin more so than others. His best friend whom he spent the better part of his teenage and adult life with was nowhere to be found. They searched zealously for their comrade and for any clues 0n his missing whereabouts, but every single one yielded no results. Kin, meanwhile, was starting to become accustomed to his new found powers after joining the ranks of Ender's army. With Hime by his side, he became a strong and accomplished warrior in little no time at all. Both Ender and Hime found his progress outstanding. He had become astoundingly talented in such a short time that he quickly moved up within the ranks of his forces. Hime continued to love and admire him, something that he never experienced from any woman on earth. As his power grew, so did his thirst for revenge. He would finally show Iori just how powerful he became, and how it felt to feel weak, how it felt to be humiliated. That desire, more than anything, ate at his heart and now he was ready to make it a reality.

Thus on one day spent in reminiscent relaxation, the warrior would finally get his wish. As he arrived within a forest devoid of most people, Iori had, at the same time, been training within the forest in an attempt to hone her techniques and her animal instincts. By mere coincidence, their paths crossed and they initiated the beginning of what would be a rivalry that would last since time immemorial. Normally, she wouldn't have fought him with such ferocity, but she felt if she were able to defeat him then he would undoubtedly learn the folly of his new found path and return to the side of his comrades, where he belonged. The two fought each other to a standstill, matching technique with technique, leaving no ground before one another. Seeing as though this stalemate would only last until one unleashed their true power, Kin seized this opportunity. He activated one of the iramasha's deadliest abilities, Chaos soul. By doing so, he effectively cut off Iori's source of power - leaving her with little resources. He would gain the upper hand by this point, but even then, Iori had no intention of conceding to him and fought him with nothing but a beast's fury, biting a size-able chunk of meat from one of his arms. Filled with rage and ire that could make even the gods tremble before its terrible might, Kin decided to delve into even more reserves of power - this time, the seal of junsui, something he acquired from Ender. However, before he could fully release this tremendous energy, Shadin and Midori caught up to the two. Both of them were filled with surprise, anxiousness, and caution. Shadin attempted to talk to him, but when he saw the injuries on Iori's body, he could definitely tell that their friendship between he and himself were strained. Luckily, Hime arrived at the crucial moment. She expressed her disappointment at her pupil for activating the foreign power that he had yet to control. Nevertheless, she was proud of his efforts and brought him back to the base. With their morale crushed once more, the side of good knew that Kin had indeed joined the side of evil. Needless to say, this hurt them more than any weapon could - especially Shadin. Still, there was no time to lament. They had to recover. This was the beginning of many wars to come.

After this turmoil ebbed, the good guys convened with one another to come up with a plan of action in the hopes of retrieving their lost comrade. After deliberated thought, they decided that Shadin, Iori, and Midori would go on a personal mission to reclaim Kin from Ender's hands. A few weeks in advance, the three trained until they felt they were ready enough to go on this mission. And at the appointed time, they traveled towards Ender's base. They were prepared to bring their friend back, and yet - everything once again ended in failure. While Hime was embattled with Iori, Shadin and Midori found themselves face to face with Kin and a battle escalated between the three. Their confrontation finally reached the climax when the two found themselves hesitating to land death blows upon their former comrade. Taking this as an opening, Kin fought back gaining the upper hand over the two warriors. With the two heavily injured in both body and mind, there was no way they could clench victory. Kin had the chance to kill them, but just as they spared his life he spared their own. Moreover, Hime started to notice Ender's treachery and alerted Kin. After removing their seals, the two escaped from the base, while Shadin and the others escape with their lives. Shamed by their failure to bring him back, the three eventually returned for one final deadly salvo between Ender and his forces and the side of good. With every single fiber of power they could exert, they were able to defeat Ender and finally rid the world of his ravenous reign. However, no one would expect that their former comrade would replace him and form the Kokuryuteshi. Far from it to be expected, when everyone thought that he'd be the last person to become one of the world's greatest enemies.

During the time before the start of the war with Kin, Iori started to fall in love with a Vizard known as Hiro Arjan. She wasn't sure she'd love again after her past break-ups, but the two instantly clicked and became a couple over time. As the two spent time together, their love for one another grew with each passing day. Eventually, after a few years, the two gave birth to their one and only child, Rensei. Needless to say, motherhood brought new meaning to Iori's life. She was no longer that sour, vicious girl that the people of earth knew her as, but a woman who wanted to travel the path of redemption. She spent 4 or 5 years raising Rensei, but unfortunately her 5TH year would be the last she would see of her mother. Before iori went to her next and last battle, she decided to train with her mother and unexpectedly a very familiar man, Ravana Ichiro. It was the same man who tried to stop her from causing any more damage to the Soul society. Upon their reunion she chuckled and said, "Ah, so it's the idiot whose ass i kicked a while back, how have you been, Baka?" With a slight grin, she greeted him. Ravana growled slightly and upbraided her for her insult, though it did little to offend her. "S-Shut up! D-don't you g-go looking down on me, I have gotten a hell of a lot stronger than the last time you saw me. “Iori smiled playfully, mockingly. "Oh...? If that's so, then tell me this, why are you training with my mother? “She hit the nail right on the coffin. Ravana found himself with little replies, but did his best to keep her from seeing him fall. "I simply decided to...um hone my techniques and learn from a veteran fighter like Misaiko.” He turned his head to the side and sat down by a lake the two happened to meet at. "Anyway, why are you here?" Iori eyes blinked a few times, and then she sat down beside him. "I'm here to undergo a ritual and train with my mother.” Ravana tilted his head and asked, "Why? Aren't you strong enough? What's the need for more? “Iori inclined her head to his direction and spoke thus, "I'm going to be fighting a life and death battle, that's why. In fact, you may not see me again. " Ravana's eyes widened in surprise, and while he didn't want to admit it, in dismay. "W-Wha? Heh, that's nonsense. If you could defeat someone like me, i doubt you'll lose to anyone else. Plus, you can't die. Not before we finish our fight that is. “With a cheesy gesture, Ravana reassured the girl beside him. Finding his words to be a new inspiration, she smiled and spoke once more, "I guess you’re right, let's get back to Misaiko and make the best of our training, alright?" Little did either know, that would be the last they would see of each other for 400 years.

Kin had finally made his move after securing Ender's base and gathering warriors with goals similar to his own, world reformation. His first plan of action was to strike fear into the hearts of the people of Karakura and make the Kokryuteshi known. With the new addition of Zin, Shadin yuudeshi's younger brother, and another close rival of Iori's, the side of good went off to combat with these new warriors. Iori, who could sense Kin's presence among the many other warriors, instantly sped towards the area and their last battle would finally commence. As it went before, the two fought each other blow for blow. Kin presented many of his new techniques and abilities to the goddess of victory, and while they were frightening, they did little to perturb her. She was going to finally stop him and correct the wrongs of her past. However, doubt began to encroach upon her mind. Even if she was matching him on even levels, there was a bridge in power that separated them and she knew that victory simply could not be accomplished without the help of an ally.

As luck would have it, Midori who was just arriving to the battlefield decided to team up with her sister and the two conversed on how he would be no match for their combined forces. Iori, who was engrossed within the conversation far too much, could not see the blast Kin fired falling towards her. Midori, who at the last moment, caught the attack coming within her peripheral vision, took the full brunt of it with her body and was left in a dire condition. Iori who saw this happen right before her eyes, felt her heart fill with throes of rage, despair, and agony. "M-Midori!!!?" Without paying any attention to the petrified Kin, who did not expect Midori to get in the way of his attack, she went to her side and shook her body with tears falling from her eyes. In her moment of carelessness, she caused her sister to suffer life threatening damage. "No! No! No! This wasn't supposed to happen!! W-We were going to fight together and defeat him, and bring him back....and....and...." As she saw Midori's eyes close, a sign of anyone making their way to the afterlife, something broke inside of Iori and she lost a will to live. She didn't lose her will to fight however, evident by the anger now obvious in her gaze. By digging into a source of power that she herself knew little about but acquired through a ritual conducted by Sugiura scientist Jubei, Iori's intention was not to continue fighting but to sacrifice her live. She was going to take Kin with her. With tremendously destructive energy crackling around every inch of her body, she took flight towards Kin and was confident that she would take both of their lives, and thus give the side of good an extreme advantage in this war. "This it Kin Iramasha! This is where our battle will end! We'll finish this in hell!!" Kin growled and was almost unable to escape from her grasp, but there was someone protecting him from behind the scenes. In truth, his life was never in danger. The power surrounding Kin was not touching him. It was as if he was in an invisible bubble, protected from any contact of pressure, power, and energy. Claire was protecting the one and only she called Master. With the mere flick of her wrists and hands, she simply changed the dark and negative energy to something holy and sent that attack back on Iori, effectively erasing her from this existence. Without even laying a finger on him, she felt her existence slipping away as she could see clearly the world falling apart before her very eyes. Kin wasn't the one dying, but she herself. With shame and regret, with clarity and a wish to be reborn, Iori Sugiura was successfully eradicated from this world. It was a cruel ending, but this was not the end of her chapter, no, this was only the beginning. She would get her wish of rebirth in the most unlikeliest of ways.

Chapter 6 - Rebirth

100 years after the war between Kin and the Soul King, peace momentarily returned to the homes of earth and the soul society. In the Sugiura lands, however, nothing but tragedy hung over the hearts of their people. One of Misaiko's daughters, one that would have taken the reigns as queen once Misaiko stepped down or ceased to live, died without even a trace of her remains left behind to be remembered. Who took it the hardest? Who lamented the most? It was painstakingly obvious that Misaiko wasn't the only one, nor Midori. Even the villagers, children, and Iori's students mourned the death of their beloved. On the outside, everything proceeded as normal and for the most part, everyone seemed to accept the fact that Iori was dead and would never grace their lives again. There were funerals held for her death, and her students continued the Dojo in her name, knowing that it was something she would've wanted. On the inside, however, plans to bring Iori back were being concocted and elaborated upon by Shimura and a few of her contingents from the west and north. They went through countless theories, experiments, and continued to work upon this project without anyone knowing. Even Misaiko had no idea what Shimura was preparing. The reason for their curiosity was not only because they wanted to see if Iori could be revived, but if their efforts would bear fruit to a new advancement in Sugiura History. All of their experiments ended in failure, of course, but they nevertheless felt confident that they would succeed in their endeavors despite the impossibility of it all. Each year, new theories were made, but never truly became tangible and were always discarded for something more logical then the last. In other words, no matter how great results were, everything still fell towards absolute utter failure.

On one faithful night, however, their efforts would finally pay off. Shimura, who had constructed a magic circle out of indolent boredom, accidentally cut herself during the experiment and droplets of blood spilled out and onto the ground. That was fine, she could easily heal the wound with her abilities or simply use a bandage to stop the bleeding, and it wasn't a dire wound. However....in that moment, the circle around her started to glow with purple, cerulean, and jade. Many colors and more started to swirl in unison as lightening roared through the castle walls. The sight was magnificent, awesome to behold. What was going on? Had she performed some sort of accidental spell that couldn't be cancelled? After what seemed like infinity, the energy finally ebbed and only small sparks and remains could be discerned. She took a deep breath, recovering from that strange occurrence only to gasp when she saw a physical body in the center. The body was small, waifish, and lithe. Judging by the hair and by the feminine groan that escaped from those lips, this was a female child. With that assessed and clear, she walked over to the young girl laying beneath the circle she created moments ago - and once her eyes met with those of this small-framed child, they shot open like saucers. This was...unmistakably the same face of Iori when she was a little girl. Everything from the ears, to the tail, and those amber eyes were enough to tell her that this was without a doubt, Iori sugiura. Through a clumsy accident inside this room, she unexpectedly brought Iori back to life, though later it would be revealed that her body was no longer that of a Sugiura, but a Guardian beast.

Following the next few days, Shimura performed many experiments upon the reborn goddess of victory, and searched through various theories that could possibly bear clues on Iori's new found origins. Only with the arrival of Okabe did Shimura find the answer to this mystery, her body was indeed different from others as Shimura surmised. She was no longer a Sugiura - though she shared similar traits - she was a Guardian beast. Iori could not form coherent words at this time and was very much like a newborn pup. She would wander around the lab before, and after Shimura analyzed the inner makings of her newly acquired body. Eventually, after seeking everything she needed, Shimura pondered what she would do with Iori. Due to her overwhelming schedule, which was bigger, if not larger than Misaiko's - she couldn't possibly handle raising her. Moreover, she wanted to keep the secret of Iori's revival hidden from others, including Iori's family. So, while time went on, no one knew that Iori had now been reborn. Eventually, after considerable thought, Shimura allowed Okabe to take care of Iori and raise her as his own. Needless to say, raising her was far from easy, But for the man who could make the impossible, possible - nurturing this young girl was hardly an inconvenience. Over the span of three years, under Okabe's tutelage, she learned to form coherent words and talk like a normal human. Whether or not she would regain memories of her past life still remained to be the biggest question in his mind. Nevertheless, Okabe continued to raise Iori teaching her many things. There was one thing he couldn't quite stop, however. The habit this little girl had of wandering outside of her safety zone. One day this curiosity would almost get her killed but would become a blessing and thus, another tremendous step in her growth.

Amid the intermittent rumblings of the Land of The Guardian beasts, a young girl with a meager frame could be discerned frolicking through one of the many forests scattered throughout the entire expanse. With her red haired tied into a long bow, and clothing one would find on a tribal warrior adorning her body, Iori skillfully grabbed the neck of a much smaller and meager guardian beast and seized its neck with her fangs. As the two sharp protrusions pierced her throat's prey, she could taste drops of palatable blood gracing her tongue. This was her only means of sustenance whenever Okabe allowed her to wander off. She didn't enjoy the real food that her people ate. Whenever such meals graced her tongue, she would continuously consume the food until the plate was clean. Plus, hunting was an essential way of allowing herself to train and grow ever closer to regaining both her memories and the meridians that made her old body so stalwart and strong. After devouring the poor little beast in one whole bite, Iori wiped the remains from her mouth and continued on in search of more. For those well versed in the biology of Guardian beasts, whenever one consumes another it becomes an essential way of boosting their growth, and thereby enables the guardian beast to grow at an exponential rate. Iori is no exception. Judging by the lines of her legs, arms, and abdomen, her growth has not come far but it has at least reached a point where she can fend for herself without much effort. Her stomach still grumbled, unsatisfied by its first meal. Iori grimaced slightly, obviously Dissatisfied by her predicament. She wanted a bigger meal, yet that would require that she fight a larger foe. She was smart enough to discern what could potentially kill her and what was harmless enough to be hunted. Until she finds something large enough to sate her appetite, she doubts highly that she'll be able to go back in peace. However,

"RORAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" A tumultuous noise erupted from the center of the forest, shaking it to its very foundation. "!?" Iori felt her body tremble at such a frightening cacophony of sound. Where was it coming from? What was going on? Had she somehow angered a fearsome monster? She felt her legs wobble as she fell on her back. The noise became ever more uproarious, while the ground shook under the weight of this unknown threat. The source of this undying earthquake appeared above the forest and with it's claws, sliced through the line of trees hiding the young girl. From it's appearance, it was as Iori suspected, a monster. A completely grotesque beast with multiple appendages around it's body resembling large spikes. Iori felt all breath leave her throat. Thinking back on it, she should have left this place the moment she succeeded in her first hunt. She would've came back with an empty stomach, but at least she would've returned with her life. Now - she finds herself facing the greatest threat of her new life. With no lifeline in sight, and no way of calling out for help, she will die and everything will have been for naught. Thus, when she finds herself accepting the reality staring her dead in the face, and the large claws of the ravenous beast streaking towards her, she is saved by the unlikeliest of miracles.

The deafening sound of one of the beast's claws falling to the ground assaulted Iori's ears. Needless to say, she was baffled beyond recognition. She turned her head towards every conceivable direction, confused as to why she survived when she had no weapon to protect herself. Her savior, however, was right in front of her standing before her with his back turned. "Ah..." Iori felt herself wither at the sight of such dignified majesty. A resplendent red armor covered his entire body from head to toe. Light crimson flames revolved around his body and dissipated, revealing his entire form as the crimson eyes of his visor glowed with tremendous flare. His movements as he waved his arms through the air were graceful, like those of a beautiful phoenix ready to soar majestically through the sky. Due to seizing and breaking one of the enemy guardian beast's arms, he effectively saved Iori from a fatal attack. After breaking its arm, he simply lopped it off using the tremendous strength from his body. Inclining a fraction of his attention towards Iori, he pointed to a small cave that the beast revealed after destroying half of the forest in his rage. Taking this as a signal to move, Iori scurried towards the cave and hid herself away from the impending battle.

From a distance of 30 meters, the angry demonic beast once again roars mightily, assaulting the forest with his cries of vengeance. Even if no one could understand the distorted tempestuous roars erupting from his lips, they could surely discern the anger emanating around the entire battlefield. Tajadol assumes his stance, spreading his legs apart slightly, with the right 2 meters from the left. The grotesque beast once again resumes its ferocious attacks, piling on blow after blow with the many appendages adorning it's body - each filled with a destructive energy that could easily claim the life of any meager guardian beast trying to stake it's claim as the strongest here. Unfortunately for this repulsive monster stampeding towards the armored warrior, the guardian beast standing before him is no meager foe - he is legend, descending from the body of the once great guardian beast king, Ankh. One need only tell this by the monstrous spiritual energy affecting the entire area around him as though it was being distorted by some omnipotent outside source. Iori, too, could feel his spiritual pressure from far away. Who was he? Unperturbed by his roar and his attack he simply used the force of his tremendous spiritual pressure to force the demon back, and then, with the elegant movements of his arms, Iori experienced another sight to behold. Wonderful, dazzling, magnificent feathers with an array of colors. The color of magenta, the color of white, the color of cyan, all these and more could describe the red prism wings of her savior. They were larger than his body. Instead of using them to take flight, however, he unleashed the every single one of these feathers using them as projectiles to assault and destroy the enemy threat charging upon him. These peacock feathers are made from no simple energy, but a legendary form of fire known only as Timefire. With this powerful projectile attack, not only does it close off the possible ranges from which the monster can escape, but bombards him with an endless assault of feathers strong enough to cut through his skin and take even more of his body into the oblivion.

As each of the feathers ripped, crushed, and sliced off the parts of his enemy's large body, the once fearsome guardian beast was starting to become little more than a lion being dominated by his stronger feline foe. The slimy, almost loathsome appendages hit the ground with large thuds. The once mighty bulwark of a beast that struck fear into Iori, was now starting to realize the folly of thinking he could defeat this warrior before him. His defeat is inevitable. Still, like any foolish beast, he fights on believing that victory is still within reach. Using the parts of his body that were still available to him, the appendages started to take on the form of large tentacles, resembling those of an octopus. Faced with this new weapon at his enemy's disposal, Tajadol considers his plan of action. He could use a large scale attack, which would definitely bring this repulsive beast down. However, he could risk destroying a good part of this forest and risk killing the little girl he's trying to save. Hearing the sound of the large bulky tentacle sweeping towards him, he quickly brings himself back to reality, but is unable to fully dodge his opponents attack and suffers an extreme amount of damage as the tentacle strikes him dead in the chest sending his body flying. "Gyuaghh...uh!" Even with half of his body destroyed; it boggles the mind to think that he could still perform attacks with such strength behind them. Nevertheless, he knows that if he fails then that girl who's counting on him to save her from the jaws of death will meet her untimely end. Using his speed, to deftly slide out of the range of his next attack, he executes a 20 meter leap to separate the distance between them. Deciding that this fight has gone on long enough, and that the damage to his body will hinder him if left untended, he prepares himself in body and soul for the final attack that will secure his victory.

Spreading his now red wings devoid of the earlier colors that left Iori in awe, the mighty warrior takes flight, ascending to the sky as though to pierce the heavens. In so doing, he increases his relative altitude, his speed easily surpassing mach 4. Iori, who had been watching from the outset of this battle, stuck her head outside the cave to see the warrior high above in the sky, flying majestically among the clouds. "Hyahhhhhh!" After gaining enough momentum from his aerial flight, he performed an aerial descent, soaring from above with breathtakingly brilliant speed. Then, at the moment he catches the now helpless beast within his peripheral vision, he takes the stance for "Prominent Drop" One of his ultimate techniques. At that moment, two large talons can be seen jutting out from his legs, each burning with a crimson glow. With an exultant roar, he drove the powerful talons, enough to level a skyscraper, right through the head of the beast destroying it in a single mercilss instant. Once the enemy is eradicated, he lands on the ground to catch his breath. Gulping, somewhat afraid to approach the warrior, Iori felt her blood chill from fear. She couldn't declare safety just yet. What if this armored warrior killed him to get to her as his own prey? There were many possibilities to consider. Yet, when her legs gave out and she fell backwards, she felt the sensation of warm arms catching her frail waifish body. Silencing her fears, he slowly brought his hand against her cheek to assess her condition. "Are you alright?" With a nervous nod, she shook her head staring up at the armored hero before her.

"What are you doing out here? You could have died just then, had i not come in time to save you. " Finding the words to form a coherent sentence, Iori spoke hesitantly. "I..was trying to hunt for food. " Though he had no eyes with which to show his surprise, his chuckle did well to get the point across. "Silly one, if you look hard enough within trees, there are fruits that we guardian beast eat as another means of sustaining ourselves. " Patting her head slowly, he kept his arms wrapped around her tightly as he floated towards one of the trees that happened to survive the tumultuous battle. Raising his hand to wrap it around a small apple, he deftly pulled it from the tree, handing it to the girl while the two once again descend towards the ground. With a bright expression, her eyes lit up as she hungrily munched on the apple. It did well to sate her appetite, evident by the patting motion she performed with her stomach. Once she finished consuming the delicious fruit, she looked up at the warrior in red and asked his name. "M-Mister...w-who a-are you?" With a perplexed expression, he stroked his chin. "I don't know who i am, but i hear that my name is Tajadol. " Iori nodded, smiling. "That's a nice name.” For that entire day, and the following week, Iori would come back and talk with her new found friend, keeping her meetings with him a secret. On the final day, after a fight against a much stronger foe, Tajadol was in a dire condition. Iori had come not long after the battle finished. While his wounds were not fatal, it was obvious that fighting and protecting his people was becoming painstakingly strenuous. Hurrying to his side, she wrapped her small arms around his neck and held him close. "Are you going to leave me, Taja?” That was the pet name Iori had chosen for her friend. With pained breaths, he shook his head as he pressed his finger against her head. "No...Iori....If you don't want me to leave, then i will stay with you forever and ever, that is what friends are for, right?" With a few remnants of strength left in his body, he opened his hand to reveal multi-colored marbles that resembled gumballs. One was green, one was yellow, one was blue, one was grey, one was purple, and one was orange. After dropping each and everyone within her delicate little hands, he closed her hands with his own and looked up to Iori once more. "If you want, we can be together until the ends of time. I promise you that you will never know fear again, Iori. “Iori nodded holding him even closer. "Yes, i would like that very much....but....how?" Iori could not quite come to the conclusion as to how he would be with her forever. "This is my final present to you, Iori. Now you finally be able to live the life as you once did in the past. “With those mysterious words, a large light enveloped the entire around her, and once the light dissipated, he was gone. No, not gone, he had merely kept his promise. "My...body....is...." With a much deeper feminine tone to her voice, Iori looked at her hands as well as the closest thing from which she could notice her reflection, and there she discerned it, the body of a girl that was not so little anymore. Long red hair billowed elegantly behind her back as she continued to stare at how much Tajadol had accelerated her physical growth. Smiling, she felt tears pouring down from her eyes, but they weren't tears of sadness or despair, but joy and happiness. "Thank You...friend....i will never forget this...i promise you that i will cherish this life, and herald the beginning of my own new path. " And with those words spoken so reverently, Iori marched on towards her new found path, one that would not end as tragically as it did in the past. Behold, the goddess has been reborn....

[300 years later]

"So...do you think you’re finally ready to fight, young one?"

"Do you really need to ask? I've completed all the training and my memories are intact, and I've acquired many abilities that heretofore had been nonexistent inside me. "

"Heh, to think you grew from such a sweet little girl to a full grown woman in such a short time."

"I guess so," Spoke Iori with confidence brimming in her tone. Indeed, after fusing with that legendary guardian beast, her new body experienced a myriad of positive changes. She became a mightier warrior then she was during her life as a Sugiura, and with the new future before her, she could only grow and ascend to even greater heights. This was the path she truly desired. She waited many years to reach this point, and when she thinks about it, maybe death was the best way of showing her that the path of a warrior should be filled with honor, courage, and friendship. Thinking back on it, were those not the words that her lover, tsubine, told her? Standing above the mountains overlooking homeland, Iori inclined her head towards Okabe and spoke, "So, it looks like we'll be working together, old fart. " Okabe chuckled at her humor and shrugged, cracking his neck slightly. "I hate the fact that i have to work with such a rude little girl. But i promised my mother, I'd watch over you. " Like the girl standing beside him, he meant not a single word. Both were proud of their progress. The goddess of victory and the man of impossibility, surely there was no greater duo then these two. "Thanks..for everything, Okabe, or should i call you master now?" She asked with a mirthful chuckle. "Do as you see fit, though i'd prefer if you'd call me something like uncle. " Returning the same playfulness, he patted her shoulder and looked into the horizon. "You are ready Iori. Carve your own path and make the best of this new life. " Iori nodded as she also gazed at the eastern land and its people frolicking in happiness way down below. "Yeah, let's reach to the top, and beyond. I'm not one for believing in destiny, but this sure was one hell of a ride..." The chapters to the life of this warrior born anew are boundless. With new epiphanies and the guidance that she yearned for from someone in her former life, the woman known as Iori Sugiura walks on. She is confident that with her new found resolve that she will not meet the same unfortunate end as before. She knows only one thing, and that is that she will make the best of this life and enjoy everything it has to offer. Honor, friendship, love, she will embrace it all. There is no need for despair. For surely, this happiness...will last forever.

~End~
