Moonlit magic [Hexx] Empty Moonlit magic [Hexx]

Samantha sat on the park bench, looking up at the sky. She looked to be somewhere between eighteen and twenty, her vibrant blue hair might be mistaken for having been dyed. Today her skirt was white and she wore a purple short sleeved shirt. Around her neck she had a golden chain threaded through a silver amulet. Both her feet were set softly against the earth as she relaxed, a backpack next to them.

The trees rustled in the wind, and after letting out a soft sigh, she picked up the backpack and stood up, moving towards an open field with a few large trees at the center. She sat under one of the trees and opened up her bag, pulling out a plastic container full of small pebbles, her handwritten journal, then closed the bag. She took a picture of a middle aged man from the pages of the journal and stared at it, sadness in her eyes. After looking at the picture for a minute, she put it away and opened the container. Inside were about a hundred or so pebbles, each no bigger then an inch in diameter. She pulled three out and sighed, placing them on the ground in front of her.

"Ventas Terra"

The words were barely a whisper as she focused her intent, and the pebbles responded, lifting off the ground until they were at the same height as her shoulder. She held her concentration, the pebbles starting to vibrate back and forth slightly as she tried to delay their release.
