What Are You Upgrading: Tier upgrade from 4-4 to 4-3 and the first stage of a new technique. Details below.
Any Extra Notes: Technique name: Seikūken. Description: A more refined version of the move Carmine uses in his struggle against a demon, it's a combat method used to control the radius around the user. Can be used both bare handed and with a weapon, the premise is to create a spherical shield around oneself using spiritual pressure at the edge of the user's reach(either with the reach of their weapon or with their hands). Primarily used for defense, the pressure used in the technique is so thick, anyone entering the sphere is immediately detected by the user, allowing them to react to attacks even if they can't keep up with them visually. The technique is only usable with a calm mind, so using it while jumping around or moving is difficult at best. Without a calm mind the user cannot use it at all. It can have a difficult time against simultaneous or combination attacks, since it's primary function is to deflect attacks
