Personality: Kento is a man that knows he is on the way out, he has gone through the many stages until finally understanding that he is going to die and there is nothing he can do to stop it. Kento is a jovial person, he makes jokes and tries to remain positive for everyone around me although inside he does still have those lingering thoughts of regret and worry in his mind. His roughness and harsh edges have been worked out through this experience but still he keeps his bright demeanour towards the world.

He tries to stay away from his little sister, after realising that his joking and carefree mask wasn't working on her and he didn't want to her to watch him fade away. He is deeply concerned for those around him and tries to not burden people with his presence.

History: Kento's human history is short, like incredibly short since he was born still-born and died before he even got to experience life. His life would resume in the Soul Society where he was taken by the Shinigami that found him instead of sending him via Konso. Kento was adopted by said shinigami and his wife where he learned the basic arts of the shinigami growing up until his parents died in combat and he was left orphaned, with no where else to go he was banished to the Rukongai where he quickly formed a group of friends and they formed what one would call a "family".

In this group there was a girl, one girl whose name was Sophia although very early on he decided to call her Sophie and when that stuck and people began to call her that he instead opted to just call her Soph for even shorter. Strife would eventually form and Kento would take Sophie and leave the other's as they grew and he no longer felt like it was a family with his "brothers" getting into some more shady activities which made him feel concerned for his sister. Instead he took them to the Seireitei and became a Shinigami which he had already obtained basic training for and that lead to him getting through the Academy quite quickly and in doing so he wanted to keep Sophie out of it.

He joined the Sixth Division. before the Gotei Reformed or the Gotei United. He would often handle many missions that was expected of him, aspiring to be the next Captain-Commander and maybe even make Zero Division. These dreams were cut short however when he was bitten by a hollow on a mission and him having strong latent quincy heritage from his human life slowly started the "soul suicide" process which would eventually reflect on his physical body which made his little sister aspire to be a Shinigami and try to heal him but he was quickly decaying and he would soon be unable to continue his duties within the Gotei. It would only get worse as the years went on and Kento believes he will die before the end of 2418. This eventually brought his request to spend his remaining days in the Second Division to enjoy the serenity.
