Searching

This day begin as it always did for Haru for last 6 months. It the morning he would wake up and make himself breakfast with whatever he had. Then he would travel to a new place during the afternoon and go to sleep when it was dusk. Finally when next day start he would do the whole cycle over again. But today was different for him.

He believed he was on the right trail to finding his lost friend so he ate a small breakfast and started searching for him right away. It wasn't long until he had ran across half of the forest and it was just noon by then.

"Don't you think you should take a break." Great one said.

"Not now." Haru said as he continued to run.

A bead of sweat dripped down the back of Urufu's pale skin, a glimmer of moisture and salt that slowly dissolved into his white cloak. The back of his neck was quite strained, and if one could see under his cloak, they would see his shoulder was also strained, and the arm connected to it was rigid and wavering. He had just spend the last ten minutes holding his ungodly sword with one arm, his Vitae enchantment (which made the sword lighter for him by using his reiatsu) not fully active. It was similar to a regular human holding a car with one hand. Grunting slightly, his arm finally stopped wavering and simply gave out. The metal of the sword struck the ground fast and hard, the sharp edge embedding itself in the moist earth. Wiping the sweat off of his forehead with the sleeve of his free hand, he shook himself out. Leaving the blade in the earth momentarily, he cracked his knuckles.

Good... Now use the other hand. A voice penetrated Urufu's mind, coming from his sword. Nodding dejectedly, Urufu reached out with his other hand, the arm he was using his sword with originally hanging limly by his side. Grasping the handle with one hand, he grunted and heaved. The blade was pulled from the earth, and Urufu began counting. His goal was to reach 29 seconds, which was how long he had been holding it with his other hand. After 10 seconds, his body began to shake violently. After 15, he had his teeth clenched so tightly he saw black spots. Almost there... Shiro whispered in his head, and a determined Urufu smiled. He reacher 25 before the strain became too much, however, and he dropped the sword. Not too bad... but dem's the breaks, Kid. Shiro said, and Urufu laughed. It was a geuine laugh, for he was truly happy with his work.

Sealing Kaze O Han'ei Shite back into it's katana state, he slid the katana back into the sheath that was strapped to his back tightly. It was time to find some food. I still think your abilities are really fucked. Shiro told him, which Urufu responded to with a nod. He did too. Maybe, but they help. Especially in times like this. He replied, before he finally caught the scent of what he needed. A 24 point buck was grazing in a meadow. Crouching down low, Urufu sprang towards the beast, dropping silently to the earth twice before kicking off and landing on the deer. Breaking it's neck quickly by grasping it's head and turning rapidly, the brittle bone snapping under the strength of The Urufu. Riding the beast to the ground, he offered up a prayer to the goddess and the wind, before sinking his teeth into the deer's neck. Drinking the blood, he swallowed the liquid rapidly. It was a shame he had to kill such a magnificant beast, but only this nobility of blood would be able to restore his energy.

20 minutes later, Urufu was walking away from the deer, the beast drained completely of blood. Wiping the blood off with the back of his hand, he smirked. It was delicious. Suddenly, he stopped and drew his blade. Releasing it into it's full form, Kaze O Han'ei Shite reflected the sun brightly in the dense forest. He had heard someone running rapidly towards him. Whoever it was, he would be ready.

Haru keep on running at his top speed in straight line. Eventully he appeared in front of a peron wearing a white cloak. As he slowed down Haru thought to himself."Maybe he will know where Zero is." he thought.

"Maybe you should ask him." Great one said.

Haru slowly came to a stop only about 20 ft away from Urufu. When he came a stop finally he asked the person a question. "Have you seen a Quincy with black hair and a scar on his arm?" he asked.

Then Haru leaned against the tree and wait for a answer from the person.

A very tentative man had appeared from the foilage of the forest. He seemed slightly scared or skittish, approaching Urufu slowly. A little too slowly. What do you think? He asked Shiro, whom responded only with a hum. So much for help there. Allowing him to draw closer, Urufu was happy he had just fed. Otherwise, there was no telling what he would do to this poor man. Now that he was leader of The Coven, he had to show humility and control. It was only proper for the Alpha to be the best. After a few more moments, the man asked a question. A quincy, eh? Yeah, he had seen such a quincy. "Yeah, I know him. I nearly ate him, too." He responded with a laugh. Slamming the tip of his blade into the ground, he leaned against it casually. Staring at the man, he was wondering if he would get a reaction.

Haru was surprised by this answer that he just heard but he couldn't show this. So he remained calm. He could show that he was surprise to this person or even Great one. If great one knew he would try to manipulate him into doing something he would normal not do."That was not a expected answer." Great one said.

"I know it isn't." Haru whisphered in a solf voice so Urufu couldn't here it.

Then Haru looked closely at the person in front of him. If I start a fight with him it could end bad for me cause he knows this place better than me and if he a long range fighter it would end even worse. Haru thought for awhile before he asked his next question.

"Can tell me why you almost killed him?" Haru asked.

Damn. Not a single reaction. Oh well, maybe he wouldn't be getting a decent fight today. Relaxing against the blade of his sword, his eyes were focused on the man, waiting for something else. Because of his increased hearing, he heard him murmuring to himself. Either he was crazy, or something inside of him was. Smirking, he realized that maybe he was crazy too. NO! Stop thinking like that, Urf ole chap... He thought to himself, receiving a laugh from Shiro. Now then, back to what the man was saying... ....Why had he tried to eat the quincy? "Simply because I was hungry and he was the only sentient being around." It was simply a matter of wrong place at the wrong time. "He was lucky I was unfocused, otherwise he wouldn't have made it out alive." Urufu explained, a small smile on his face.

Haru stood up from leaning on the tree. He knew he would have to fight. He couldn't let anyone who tried to harm his friend go unpunished. "Your going to fight aren't you?" Great One asked.

"Yup." Haru said streching his arms.

"I'll allow 3 changes of gravity then you'll have to beg for more." He said.

"You always want me to beg." Haru whisphered calmly as he lowered the gravity around him.

"Well now you must be punished for your actions." he said to the person in
front of him.

Haru lowered into a squat. Then he jumped straight into the sky. Finally He landed on top of a 25 feet tall tree. From there he waited for his opponent's next move. Though all that time he keep a calm face that gave no reaction.

The smile that was plastered on Urufu's face widened. His eyes hardened, his teeth were clearly visible over his lips (sharp and blood stained). Oh yes, this was going to be fun. Pushing himself off of his sword, he grasped the handle and pulled it from the ground effortlessly. Swinging it with one hand, he loved the Vitae enchantment. "If that's the way you want to play it." Suddenly, wind began to converge around his sword, swirling rapidly. A white energy seeped from his blade, intertwining with the wind. Raising his blade, he slahed it down and watched as the wind erupted from the blade, headed straight towards the man. This was his wind scar ability. This was strong enough to destroy that tree he was standing on, especially with the extra energy he added to it.

"Let's see what you got." Doing several backflips, he distanced himself from the man. Why did he distance himself? When he leaped, a leaf was falling towards him. It entered the area he was in, then slowed down immeasurably. When it hit the ground, it bounced off of the grass and floated away. Once it reached a certain distance, it fell towards the earth again. It appeared this man had control over gravity, but only in a certain area. This just might be interesting.

Great one though this would be fun as he watched the start of the fight. But Haru took this seriously. As the wind scar came at him he simply jumped from the tree to another one close enough away to where the wind scar didn't reach. He continued this as he jumped tree to tree getting closer to his opponent.

"Your having fun aren't you?" Great one asked.

"Not right now don't distracte me." Haru replied as he continued jumping.

Time to make things interesting. He would finish this in one blow. Waiting for Haru to get close enough to him, he activated something very special. "BANKAI!" He roared, his blade turning black. White dots peppered the surface, moving casually. This was actually a map to the stars. Using Shunpo, he charged a windscar. Arriving directly in front of Austin while he was in mid-jump, he unleashed the windscar at point blank range. "IS THIS WHAT YOU WANTED?!"
