Winter. The Cold. It was the time of year that everyone actually hated until it snowed. people used it as an excuse to complain and argue about the simple things to simply blame it on the weather. However, the snow itself seemed like a binding contract. As soon as you saw the kids in the white stuff playing around and making snowmen, all your worries were gone for that one day. If that is what you want to believe winter is all about then be my guest, but it's not what I believe. It's the time that shows you just who is a selfish twat that is going to be scrounging off you this year. the selfish love Christmas and live through the chill just to get their reward at the end. How self centred can people be at this time of gathering?

That is exactly what was going through the head of one particularly cold man who chose to sit down in the vicinity of the other three. He sat hunched forwards with his arms on his knees and his hands held together with his chin resting upon them. He could easily be seen as staring and gave no intention to stop. His white hair sat spiked up as usual and his blue coat was sprawled lazily over the entire seat which sat three people, but was now only going to hold him. His eyes focused most on the little girl that was pissing around with the ice. The ice this guy was capable of using to kill, to maim, to destroy. It ticked him off to see his power being moulded for a pass time. "Sure this kid has got talent, but that sculpture would look so much better if it wasn't of a disgusting Shinigami." That is what he whispered to himself, and then he let out a cold sigh as he continued to watch.

People then began to converge on this location as if they had planned a get together of friends. Is meeting other people necessary in this lifetime? This guy was just here to catch the cold chill of the wind which was one of his favourite things to do. The feeling of the cold on his skin was glorious and made him happy. This was definatly weird as he never smiled, nor actually gave a hint to happiness. Who actually was this man? Why did he despise the Shinigami and why was he so cold towards everything? He was known, as Rihiku Hitsugaya: Betrayer of the Soul society and slayer of captains alike. When he was younger, they said he had the qualifications to become a Shinigami captain and was very promising. Even the captain commander congratulated him on his performances on the field. However, after seeing his entire squad slain and the woman he loved die for his sake, he went on a frenzy. This laid the blame onto him for their deaths and he left the Gotei forever.

Rihiku was a man that had met pain several times in life. he was a criminal and hated Shinigami for everything they put him through. Even now while staring at the small girl with a zanpakuto, his mind wanted him to kill her. She gave of such an obvious sense of Shinigami trait: The sword and the man in the statue were simple give-aways. The other two now made getting her out of the picture an impossible task. None of them from this angle seemed like a dire threat but they were both something to be concerned about. Their keenness of the girl was curious, but their next suggestion threw Rihiku slightly off of a metaphorical cliff.

"What did he say?" Rihiku caught a glimpse of the words "Snowball fight" and quickly got angered. Throwing balls of snow? The very source of his power? Would they dare do such a thing to discriminate him? Without even realising it, Rihiku's reitsu began to pour into the air. He didn't actually care if they knew about him at this point as he would love to have a "snow ball fight" with these people. Rihiku leaned backwards and put his hands down to his side. His right hand then lay softly onto a katana he hid underneath his jackets right hip. He grinned at them and, instead of getting up and going over, raised his voice to get their attention. "Hey, you guys planning to throw snow at each other? Don't get it down my coat is all I request. I'm trying to keep this thing clean and I don't need kids hurling balls of ice at me" Rihiku laughed to himself and watched. He really wanted to get under their skin like how they got under his love for snow and ice.
