Hiyashi isn't usually the type of person to be sitting around doing nothing all day. Perhaps it was because of the lack of things to do while in the sereitei, going to different districts was pleasing at first but after awhile he became rather bored.
"Well i'm not going to get stronger by just sitting all day, better go to the training grounds" he said while stretching his arms.

As he arrived at the training grounds he noticed alot of shinigami training, most consisted of various height and body types and he noticed some others practicing kidou. Most of them were brand new academy students while others were more experienced shinigami hoping to improve their skills. All of these people were making hiyashi feel weak in comparison to others,he felt like even a low ranking academy student could beat him.

But he put the thought into the back of his mind, not wanting it to distract him.What mattered was finding a nice area and a good sparring partner, "Now where's a nice quiet training area?" He wondered as he looked around the training grounds.

As he went into the building he decided to sit down and put his zanpaktou in his lap, urgently waiting for someone to train with him "Well i guess i should wait for someone to join me....if anyone comes that is" he said to himself

Ahh, the training grounds. Chidori did not often stop by to the training grounds, mainly because she almost never trains. It's not that she doesn't need to train, compared to everyone else training is a must for her, it's just that there is always something that preoccupies her (mainly her laziness). Though something about today was different. She actually had the will to go out there and train! Better to not waste it.

When she arrived at the training grounds, the smell of newbies was in the air. People just out of the academy trying to hone their skills. It was nice watching them try to improve, because Soul King knows how much the Gotei could use some strong reapers right now. One person caught her eye and she decided to follow them into the building. She followed them stealthily of course, making sure that she wasn't known to said target. Slowly, she followed him into the building, staying in the shadows so that he couldn't see her. A skill she picked up from her father. She stayed that way for a while, watching as he set his Zanpakutō in his lap before speaking. After he spoke she revealed herself, speaking.

"Your wish has been granted."

As hiyashi finished his sentence, he heard a voice coming from the room, the exact same room he was in. Once he heard the mysterious figure emerge from the shadows he was quite suprised,
"She must be part of the stealth corps if she was able to follow me around without making a sound not even a creak, i best be careful" hiyashi said to himself

Hiyashi then stood up and walked towards the figure, with a happy expression on his face finally having a partner that can help him improve his combat abilities while hoping to get to know the person better.
Well i guess your my training partner then i assume? Hiyashi asked the woman

Although he wasn't much of a talker with woman he couldn't start a introduction without being polite, he exetended his arm and introduced himself. "Name's hiyashi what's yours?"

He waited for a response from the woman...

"I guess I am. The name's Chidori Shihoin, heir to the Shihoin clan. Oh! I'm also in squad.... 2. The covert ops one." She returned a kind smile to Hiyashi. "Hiyashi... doesn't ring a bell. Have I seen you around here before? Probably not, but doesn't hurt to ask." Chidori interrogated the man as she began to walk across the room so that she was adjacent to him. If they were to spar, it wouldn't benefit her if she was standing behind him.

Speaking of this spar, she needed to do something. She was already decent with her Zanjutsu, so how about hand to hand? Yeah, that sounded about right, especially since she wanted to fully develop her shunko. As cool as fukazen shunko sounded, the meaning was actually quite embarrassing. So on that note, she got in her fighting stance, lightly bending her knees and spreading her arms out in front of her just in case she wanted to go on the defensive.

"Alright. Come at me."

Hiyashi has heard of certain stealth corp individuals who have the ability to use shunko, however hiyashi thought it was just a rumor how can someone only depend on hand-to-hand combat when your up against a sword.

"Alright. Come at me"
Hiyashi looked at her fighting stance and assumed she was only pretending to use hand-to-hand so she could going to use her zanpaktou to block his attack.

Hiyashi heard the words spoken from the woman and replied with a serious tone "Alright then i won't hold back.

He began unsheathing his sword, and although he was only sparring his overconfidence kicked in. He believes that with Jishin he could accomplish anything,
He held onto his zanpaktou's grip tightly and began to utter these words
"Alright here i come!" he shouted as he started to shunpo around the woman and attempted to attack her from behind hoping to gain the upper-hand

She saw him take out his zanpaktou and had a tad bit of fear surge through her. Flesh and steel don't work very well against each other, mainly because steel always seems to win in that fight. So to take it as a precaution, she ducked. Not only because it would make her chance of getting hit lower, but the main thing that she learned was that the head was the most crucial spot of a person. If it was Chidori on the offensive, the head would be where she would aim.

Elegantly, she dropped to the floor, landing on her hands. Next she would bring her weight up along with her legs, balancing on the palms of her hands. If Hiyashi wanted to get close, he would risk the chance of getting a foot to the face.

He saw chidori duck underneath his blade which was pretty obvious to say the least, a blade does have an advantage over hand to hand combat as far as power. Hiyashi will admit though chidori did had the advantage in the speed department, although his blade can potentially cut through flesh like knife to butter his sword had to be carried with both hands unlike a one handed sword.

He put too much force into his swing which was an even greater mistake on his end, he wasn't able to pull back and adjust his blade to compensate for his miss. "Shit" hiyashi said as he was wide open for an attack.
