Zanpakuto Shikai Command: Fall Asatsuyu
Zanpakuto Shikai Appearance: Damien’s zanpakuto takes a very traditional form in its appearance. Not changing in shape nor size. His blade remains a traditional eastern katana. In terms of shape and size, it looks very standard and traditional in this sense. Not making anything that stands out to the person as of yet. Unless they have extremely keen senses. Then they will know something is truly off about it. They may get an unnerving sensation on their skin. But aside from that, it keeps the same length and shape as a regular katana. The Tsuba or guard to his zanpakuto has a six-sided star guard around the edges. With symbols depicting the morning and evening. Along with each point marking a time of day that has come or gone. Asatsuyu is a very comfortable grip for him to hold able to flick his wrist and perform moves very easily. This weapon is well suited to Damien and his personality. Down to the very letter.

Zanpakuto Spirit Appearance: Asatsuyu takes the form of a man with one eye covered by a patch. Wearing a traditional style Japanese samurai kimono. Though letting his arms rest outside of it. Often not wearing it properly or at all with his facial hair and other hair hanging messily. It wasn’t as though the man saw a need for appearances. He’s often smoking a kiseru pipe. Never really doing much else as he sits in a field of endless blades of grass for miles. Damien’s inner world stretches on for eternity with blades of grass. Nothing but a few stones to sit upon within. That is the nature of the realm his black-haired zanpakuto remains in. Asatsuyu is a very passive zanpakuto never really having interest outside it. It does enjoy a good fight though rare they are these days. Damien hasn’t talked to his true sword for long. But both do enjoy the other’s company.

Shikai Power: Asatsuyu produces dewdrops in the air around Damien that create reflections of his sword in movement. These are not illusions or fake in any regard. Nor are they easily destroyed as they remain around Damien’s form. Constantly produced and brought out by his zanpakuto. His sword has a few techniques it can use based on this. Using up a sum of the Dew Drops in the air and on the ground. Damien can create blades that mimic his movements or techniques. Making this a very potent sword for the one-armed man. As he doesn’t have two words to use in this regard. Making him able to protect himself and defend by using large blades the size of large fences. Meaning a person would have to walk around them or dodge them. These reflections are as strong as Damien’s natural zanpakuto. Making them capable of taking a hit by other people. Damien can defend against energy attacks or physical attacks with this.

露の滴Ro no Shizuku (lit Dew Drop):[ Bringing his zanpakuto upwards Damien brings it down as several Dew Drop blade reflections form in the area in front of him. Creating a cascading fall of these large blades. They come from the ground tilting forward creating more blades. These are visible for a person to see. These are in front of his person making hitting him very difficult. This allows him to create an offensive and defensive line in front of him. By using this though Damien’s line of sight is broken. Making it harder for him to see or figure out his enemy's movements. Though this is the first technique within his zanpakuto’s arsenal of three techniques total. In terms of size, these blades are about the size of a regular blade. Simply multiplying over and over until they hit the target area.
夜の露Yoru no Ro
(lit Evening Dew) This technique Damien brings his sword towards his side before preparing to strike. Swipes of blades form in the air Swiping towards the targets around him in a swirling vortex of blades. These are visible but appear to be slashed in the air. Numbering depending on Damien’s choice. But he can create one hundred of them when using this technique. How it has a four turn cooldown. Making it one of the more technically difficult ones to use. But it still provides defense for him in this way. Damien has a safe zone where the blades don’t come. Making it one of his more keen insights as these are dangerous to him. Making a pattern where his safe zone does exist. That is something that took him a short amount of time to understand. Damien could understand the fact behind his zanpakuto being a danger to him as well.

雨滴の露 Uteki no Ro(lit Rain of Dew Drops): This is the final move within his Shikai. It can only be used once per thread and never used again. It is his strongest move in this form. Damien stopped thinking about defense and only considers offense capacity. Bringing his zanpakuto up he gently releases it towards the ground. Letting it stab into the air or dirt. Suddenly thousands of blades begin pouring from the sky downward. These sharp blades are various in size and shape. Falling making it dangerous for him and those around him. If these aren’t avoided Damien will have some problems. As these can hurt or kill him. Friendly fire is also possible. Damien doesn’t have say or control in it. Picking up his zanpakuto will stop the barrage of the swords. The blades fall at the size of a regular sword.
