Ambitions of the Bold (V/Elyss)

Some looks were thrown Elyss’ way as the redhead left her room towards the elevator to head on down to leave. Of course there were. Only a few days ago, the Shinigami seemed to be near death despite how shallow most of her wounds were. Elyss is a rather tough cookie to crack to be honest. She’s used to taking horrid beatens that’d leave anyone scarred for life or wishing for death. Heh. Somehow she made it out of all that with barely a deep gash left on her person at all. That’s just a perk from being already dead in a way with tough skin.

Anyway, down in the lobby, she’s quick to head to the front desk just to make sure the people know she’s leaving. She didn’t expect someone to come up to her and begin speaking as if they knew one another, but, as Elyss turned her head to this new, strangely recognizable, voice, she took note of the white ears, brown skin, and cocky grin that brought her mind back to the fight in the woods. At a time like this, where things are calm, Elyss is able to see the height difference between the two clearly, and yet, the redhead seemed unconcerned with most of what V had to say and responded with a shrug as she turned to fill out the papers handed to her.

“What can I say? I’m a fast healer, V.”

That’s proof enough that Elyss did, infact, remember the woman who came and helped her out against that giant snake Hollow. Though, Elyss would have preferred fighting it alone even if that had meant she’d have ended up with more injuries. That’s in the past though, and now, she has to deal with right now which means dealing with V. The other woman didn’t seem all that worried, but has a curious gleam in her eye as if she wanted to learn more about Elyss. Elyss would lie if she said she wasn’t somewhat curious about V too. It’s a mixture of wanting to see the woman’s personality more while being impressed with her strength. So, as she finished signing her papers, she stood and stretched a bit, rubbing at the bandages around her arm because they itched and looked to V again.

“Name’s Elyss by the way. Figured you’d like to know it, and I guess it’s just proper since I know your… nickname, most likely.”

She couldn’t help but crack a small teasing grin herself as she rose a brow and began to head towards the door wondering if that was all V wanted. To be honest, Elyss wants to know if V’s ears are real… and if she has a tail because the redhead didn’t exactly see one during the fight, but Elyss isn’t just going to stare at another person’s ass like that, with them looking her way anyhow. Though, guess she’ll seal the deal anyway and bring V along if the other wanted to come. So, she turns her head back to V at the door and points out into the city with her thumb.

“Hey! Let’s get something to eat. Hospital food sucks, and I’m starving.”
