Munch... Munch... Munch...

Sharp, tired red eyes gazed through Eiji's phone as he swiped, page after page, comment after comment. The weekend was the only time had had to himself, if it weren't for his new job he'd be home all the time. It was for the better, really. With Natasha being out of the hospital finally, the time spent away gave him some much needed spending money for whatever it was they needed at home. Taking a large spoonful of cereal in, he sniffled and continued to scroll.

The morning chill left the house feeling dreary. Natasha was out, the sun was just now filtering through the windows and Eiji couldn't help but feel at peace. Though he wished Natsumi was around, it wasn't all that bad spending his time the way he did. Munch... The news facing him from his phone was nothing special, it was just another Sunday morning. Life was, for lack of a better phrase, boring. Maybe for the better, yeah?

Filling his gullet with whatever cereal they had in the cupboards, the boy did his best to finish up quickly to prepare for the day. Finally emptying his bowl and draining the milk, he gave a small burp and sighed. Another day here in the City of Lights. Standing from the island counter, Eiji tugged at his sleep shorts and yawned, taking his bowl to the sink and making his way back to the island counter. Back to the mindless scroll, it seemed.

For a lazy Sunday morning, Eiji was a'bit of a slob, milk moustache and all. The joys of being home alone. Nothing could go wrong, he thought. What a life.

Natsumi woke up in her bed for the first time in way too long. It was her room, her bed, her everything in here. This was her space. Yes! Natsumi yawned as she slipped on clean clothes. Too lazy to walk, she floating herself out of the room and closed the door behind her. As she floated down stairs, she saw him. It was the boy who showed up! Eichi… Eiko… Eisuke.. She couldn’t remember.

What Natsumi did remember is that she promised Natasha she would give him a chance. So, completely silently, she floated above his head, upside down on the ceiling. This was ‘his chance.’ Natsumi had a wonderful idea. Natasha was gone. He thought he was alone! Once Eijiro set the bowl down and was walking away, Natsumi slid the bowl along the counter so the the bowl would make noise.

'Guess who's haunted!' Natsumi thought, remembering the movies that she and Natasha would watch about ghosts and other cool supernatural things. If he still returned to his seat and phone scrolling, Natsumi would open the hall closet door and slam it shut, letting the bang echo throughout the house. 'Be scared!'

Eiji was still in a mid-sleep stupor, his constant and mindless scrolling left him with little to any attention of his surroundings. The ominous noise of his cereal bowl fiddling around the counter went unnoticed, as did the loud slam of the hall closet. Well, it wasn't that the hall closet went unnoticed, he just didn't care it seemed. Maybe it was Natasha, maybe it was Natsumi, he figured the last of his worries would leave him concerned about whatever it was in the house. What was the worst that could happen, a ghost attacked him? The boogeyman showed up? He sniffled at the thought, giving it little to no attention as he went back to scrolling away.

"Hm hm hmmm..."

He hummed away, post after post spanning his screen as he finally gave into the boredom. Clicking his phone dim and placing it against the island's cold surface, Eiji gave another long and exaggerated sigh.

"Today looks like it's gonna be boring. No one home and no work. Maybe I'll just go back to sleep."

Eiji's voice trailed off while he did his best impression of an old man with nothing better to do. He stood again, scratching at his bed head and scratching at his chin. Seemed it was about time he went ahead and shaved off whatever stubble found its way covering his face. If she didn't know any better, Natsumi could assume that the boy was doing his best to just ignore her. Really, he was still just that exhausted. Pushing his seat back into place, the boy slugged his way towards the bathroom and started his daily routine.

Electric razor in one hand and toothbrush in the other, he went to work, entirely oblivious to the supernatural things happening around the house. Truly an idiot through and through.

Natsumi was trying so hard to mimic the movies about ghosts and phantoms that she watched, and everything was going unnoticed. Usually after moving objects and slamming doors, the ghosts and phantoms and demons all got mad and started throwing people around, but that would make Natasha mad. Watching him ignore her, Natsumi angrily puffed out her cheeks. Once he entered the bathroom, however, a whole new game could be played. She smiled...

'Hehehehe...'

As he began with the bzzzz bzzz bzzzz of his razor, Natsumi telekinetically slammed the door shut. If he tried to open it, he would find quite a bit of force holding it still. Good luck getting out of there! Not to mention, as she pressed her hands against the door, she sent her reiryoku through the cracks around the frame. This allowed her to get a vision of inside the room, where she slid the soap across the counter, open and closed the medicine cabinet, and rapidly slid the shower curtain across the rod. The toilet also flushed, towels began floating around his head, and the light switch went off and on, dark and light. Definitely a ghost!

Things had gotten to be quite a mess, it seemed. Toothpaste had started to seep from the corners of Eiji's mouth as he did his best to keep the electric razor straight and precise across the majority of his cheeks. Though it was only really a five o'clock shadow, the young man tended to keep himself clean shaven. Wasn't really his thing, if he was ever honest. Facial hair looked weird on him.

"Yawn..."

Taking little notice of the locked door behind him, Natsumi probably figured there was something wrong with the guy. Couldn't be that he was blind, or even deaf, right? Well, of course not. Eiji was stupid, not disabled. Soon after the slam of the bathroom door came, the medicine cabinet coming to a close and the shower starting to go ballistic brought a puzzling look to his face. Toothpaste streamed down his cheek, half his face left unshaven, Eiji gave the shower a stern stare, much like a parent.

"Can... can you like... stop?"

He spoke through spit and toothpaste, wondering why the house decided to take such a drastic turn on him in a matter of minutes. In his sleepy stupor, the flashing of lights quickly started to gain traction before he, again, frustratingly slamming his own hands against the light-switch. For the love of all that was great, surely this would at least stop something, yeah?

"I don't know what the hell is going on but, please, I'm begging you. I just wanna get cleaned up man..."

Eiji wasn't really scared. If anything, he was annoyed. What was even the point of tormenting him like so? This sucked, he thought. What the hell did Natsumi and Natasha DO to this house?

There was no fearful high pitched scream. No running away or falling. She heard him ask something to stop and could sort of sense him facing away from her, toward the shower. Seriously!? This was all the reaction she'd get?! There was no way he was that brave! Natsumi wasn't one to call another person stupid because she had no sense of measuring intelligence... yet. She was getting there with Eiji...

He used his hand to try and stop the light switch from flipping on and off, which was mildly amusing, but she wanted to scare him, not annoy him. So much for being like an annoying younger sister... Maybe little sisters on TV were different from real life? Natasha picked a dumbass for her brother...

Boring...

Natsumi sighed, stopped it all, and unlocked the door. She didn't open it...

"Y'er so borin'! What is the point of even tryin'!" Natsumi groaned and waved her hand at the door. It opened inward, strongly swinging toward Eiji. She didn't care if it hit him! With a puffed face and a stomp, Natsumi just went to watch TV.
