Oh this was hard. She had to fight against her instincts, as she tilted her head to the other room. She wanted to speak up, but she also didn't want to pry. There was no hurry, she could see that the girl was struggling, but one thing at a time. Let her settle. "Down the hall, uh...well....theres one down the hall and to the left. There's the master bedroom one on the second floor which is bigger. Whichever you feel more comfortable with." She explained, giving her the directions so she could go clean up.

She fought with herself a little. This was going to be a bit difficult, she knew that position, she'd dealt with people in these kinds of situations before, at least heard their stories. But she didn't exactly have experience with helping them. Perhaps she should read up on it? But for now, she'd just have to wing it. Let the girl get washed up, get some clean clothes, get some pizza in her. And then go from there.

The instructions came and processed clearly, with Kaede just giving a silent nod of acknowledgement as she turned back around, making her way down where Ehefra directed her. Shutting the door behind her, Kaede pulled out one of the few sets of clothes she had from her backpack, setting it out as she undressed and got in the shower. With how long it was since she'd last been able to wash her hair, she had to go through the process several times.

Stepping out and finding a towel, she dried herself off, got dressed again, slung her backpack over her shoulder, and made her way back to what she could only really describe as the common area of the house, putting her backpack next to her scavenged desktop. It was awkward, it was weird, part of her still felt like the right choice was to run -- but, she'd stay. Maybe she'd actually be able to do this "turning over a new leaf" thing.
