Appearance: A head of red, rivers of flame like strands cascading in waves : it was a beautiful look at least to most, as her hair is a drifting substance : unique in look and in all other things. It frames her face beautifully : her aristrocratic features shows a light hint of non-japanese blood in her, her swirling red eyes almost accenting this to a strange pressure. Her skin is of normal color, and smooth to the touch. Her body is well developped, having quite a volomptious frame to her, and a whip crack smile on her lips, just as dangerous in nature as anything else. Her body is well kept, that includes nails and other hairy places : she seems to be quite strong, and keep a look of elegance at all times. She also tends to wear aristocratic clothing that is slightly unfitting of her upbringing in japan, but it still makes her look unique. She likes it that way, or so she looks.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Personality: A very tough girl, she seems to get by several things with a smile. Never giving up, and always working to improve, she does seem to have a lightly prickly personality, no matter what she does. It's not by choice, but she seems to be cold, and very passionate at the same time, like dry ice. Both fiery and dry at the same time. Cool and calm on the surface, with a gentle smile and a kind disposition, but a temper that seems to snap on a hair trigger. At least on one of the woman's own : she can seem quite oblivious, but is a bit sharp, if not intuinitive. She seems to have a good solid work ethic and is always seen working on her fighting style or something of the like. Many think she should have been in Squad 11, with how often she gets into fights and scraps, and how often she seems to go melee in these situations. She doesn't intentionally pick a fight, but sometimes her way of speaking and carrying herself make her look cold, arrogant and aloof, which pisses off certain people quite a lot. She's a hardworker, and is absolutely, and totally stubborn to the end, never, ever, giving up. No matter what. She is also loyal to a fault, never betraying her close friends. Her loyalty is so strong that many are more then surprised at the staunchness she presents her stance with.

B A C K G R O U N D

History/Background: Her birth was nothing special. She was born to a normal father and mother, raised very well by both parents : her parents were seperated, her father living in France at the time, her mother in Japan. She would often spend one year in one country and the next in another : this kept going until the year she turned 18. Her life was very boring : new schools, new friends all the time : she never kept a single friend after changing schools her entire life, and yet, she was loyal to those she did consider as friends in those schools. They responded to her kindness and loyalty with a loud enthusiasm, loving the fact that she was a very motivated person. But by the time her 18th birthday had rolled around, things weren't exactly cheery. Her father had died of an ill-ness and now the girl was permanently living with her also ill mother. She died shortly after her father, supposed of a broken heart : while her father has had lvers and girlfriends by the core, her mother had always remained faithful to the man that she loved. Her father's will had the words ''I love you'' to her mother, and it had settled the woman's mind before her pasing. But in the end, that left the girl all alone in the world, easy prey for playboys and those looking to advance in life, considering she had no legal guardian.

Of course, her whole life, she could see the shades, the so-called hollows, the battles. And finally, cracking merely months after her birthday, the girl tried to find whatever she could to drown herself in : danger was the key thing. Motorcycles, bungee jumping : she tried all manner of dangerous things. Even on the day that a wounded hollow fell upon her to attack, she riposted with her rapier, easily sending the hollow back. This was exhilirating, as a Shinigami stepped in to save her life. Snorting at them, she just marched off into the forest, intent on getting home. This was in the area near mount Fuji, a place of great holiness : or unholiness, depending on whom you spoke to. Either way, the shinigami that had saved her had their hands full, and the girl wandered off, looking for perhaps a less wounded hollow to fight.

She found her challenge, as she engaged an arrancar : a low class one, but all the same. She was quickly outsmarted by this arrancar, whom took the advantage of her lack of regard to her own life : and ended it. However, her soul had been ejected, which surprised the arrancar, to know that she was alive : the shinigami from earlier came in, and fought back the arrancar, substaining large wounds in the process. Stamping the girl, and then handing her his Zanpakto, the Shinigami just gave a smile, and a strange hand symbol that tickled, as she faded away, with the weapon in hand, purified. Waking up in Rukongai, she found a few children trying to take the sword away from her : with a jerk, she pulled it back, snarling. This made them scamper, as her angry face was quite.. unique to say the least. Her life in the Rukongai was short-lived, as a duo of Shinigami picked her up, twisting and shouting, and physically carried the woman, that was in-shock from fighting hollows, dying and then watching someone else die and her purification, to the academy. Seeing as she wouldn't part with the Zanpakto, they made her run the gauntlet of academy training.

Cracking a few heads, and getting in a few fights, many thought she would end up in the 11th squad.. but her choice surprised everyone, as the girl just dashed all expectations and bloomed. She was awarded her own Zanpakto, but she still kept the other one as a momento. The girl charged head-long into squad duty, and has kept pretty average scores. But she was not satisfied with any such any longer : in fact, she would now try to bloom more then ever before, no matter what circumstances happen in her way. She welcomed all happenstances, anyways.. and she was eagerly awaiting to see what life would bring her.

Zanpakutô Spirit Name: Awai [Blake] and Karasu [Corbin]

Appearance: As she holds two Zanpakto's, but one not being her own, she can see two spirits. The one that belongs to her seems to be a ruffian, with a jacket that looks tinged with animal furr, dog tags, and green hair. He seems to be quite good at hand to hand combat, and seems to have a tortured expression as well. In fact, he reminds her of a Visual Novel main character. As thus, she has dubbed him Blake, so that others may not guess her Zanpakto's real name. The second Spirit seems to be more to her taste : tall, dark, handsome, piercing nightmare eyes, and a blade to match, he seems much more like he would be her spirit, rather then someone else's. Much like an Antagonist. She nammed this one Corbin, also for the same purposes as the first.

Inner World: The inner world seems to reflect something beautiful : a myriad of grays, whites and black colors, all the shapes forming the home of her childhood in France. However, a connecting door, and subsequent hallway, shows the path to the home in Japan. Both Spirits reside in this world, mostly the other as a guest in the French house, whilst her actual spirit seems to prefer the Japanese house.

Sealed Zanpakutô Apperance : Awai is actually not a katana per-say : it has the permanent form of a Rapier. It is a beautifully looking rapier too, actually very similar to the one she used against the hollow in the human world. It holds a guard, shaped like intercrossing and woven vines, almost like a rose, and looks elegant, but strong. Karasu is in fact, a dagger, able to be held in her off hand, allowing the girl to use a dual wielding type of technique : although not her Zanpakto, this one also seems to be in a permanent form as well. Her rapier reaches up to three feet, whilst the dagger is about a foot.

Sealed Zanpakutô Abilities: Awai simply has the ability to ring, almost an echoing bell like sound, if there is anyone that has ill-intent towards Mayuko. Karasu seems to allow communication with animals, although how, or why the Zanpakto seems to co-operate with Mayuko is unsure.
