Koishi shouldn't be here right now. At least, not like this. She should be out, helping patients. Instead, she was now in the hospital as one herself. It had been some time when the people noticed that through her abilities, she was mentally affecting those around her in a both good and bad way. At the same time, her mental state hate slowly but surely began to deteriorate. She would spend up to a half-hour at a time in catatonia, completely unresponsive. Occasionally, she'd perform some word salad- a term for when words were incoherent.

She sat in the patient's bed, in her private room. They didn't know how far her ability's range was yet, but separating her like this at least made sure she couldn't focus on anyone in particular unless they were in the room with her. They had stripped her over her clothes and checked her for injuries. They tried to remove Disassociation as well, but found that it was quite near impossible. The personnel allowed her to keep her Seishin Buki then, wrapped around her like so many medical tubing.

Her green eyes stared at the orb, closed in a manner that seemed like a closed eye. Truthfully, not even she knew if it could open and what was underneath it. She cradled the little ball in her palms, sitting with her legs pressed to her chest. The hospital as awfully cold. Yes, it was always cold here... but without her clothes, it was even colder. Here she waited for someone to come see her, study her mentally, and see if she was fit to return to duty. If not, then they'd probably bring her in for treatment... Koishi honestly wanted to avoid it, if she could.

As it was now, there was nothing she could do but wait. She spent her time wriggling her toes against the fabric, feeling the somewhat coarse bedsheets against the soles of her feet. It was a far cry from the soft cloth of home, if she'd ever see it again. Her grip increased a bit on Disassociation, fighting the urge to cry as she waited in the cold, isolated room.

It wasn't long ago that Yakuin joined the hospital : she had heard of what one of the more distinguished personnel had gone through. Their powers. The green haired girl let the trail of her hair float behind her, as each step brought her closer to that solitary room. Such powers necessitated an isolation : yet, the female couldn't help but feel pity for the girl. Particularly considering they had left her naked. The air was chilly in the hospital : it made the woman wonder if it seeped into the girl's heart? Only stopping at the door frame, the Iramasha had moments to look over the girl and some habits : but nothing interesting to report. This was a perfect opportunity, as movement started again. ''Hello.'' spoke her voice, very light and gentle, just like the Angel she was. Yakuin let the words savour the hair for moments, as she checked various medical equipment and scans, as proper of her status. But a soft hand touched the girl on the head, rubbing it softly.

''I'm Yakuin. And you are?'' she said, almost like a game. It was easy : it re-affirm that sense of self, the girl would have to proclaim her name, her own identity. Yakuin had only given a passing glance at the files : in fact, the former gangster wanted to wing this, so to speak. A new trainee, with a new unusual case : oh it made her excited! Many would think of making it or breaking their career with such a case : but not she. There was the sheer mystery of it : and even more so, there was the solid fact that this one needed help. She still felt the need to help : after all, her parent's death opened her eyes that others would cause suffering.. and thus in her own broken way, she would help. And this was the first to receive it, as she smiled kindly at the girl.

A Fate, Sealed Empty Re: A Fate, Sealed

It was some time before a person came. She had thought that a nurse would arrive to give her the proper patient's clothes. She liked to think that maybe someone was busy. Maybe she had just fallen through some cracks. Surely, she couldn't have just been forgotten here. She understood why her clothes were taken. They were filled with things she could kill herself or harm others with, not to mention she may be holding weaponry. It was standard procedure.

A woman came in at that time. Koishi didn't really know what to make of her, with her gaze towards the various charts and medical equipment. She, too, could read them. The symptoms of her mental state were listed, as well as her name and identity. Her blood pressure was normal. Her bloodwork came back fine. Drug tests came out clean. No disease or drug abuse caused her slow mental breakdown. She said something like 'hello' while checking things over, though Koishi wasn't sure. Everything felt hard to grasp.

The woman spoke again, putting a hand to her hair. It was reassuring, though the touch seemed far away. It was an odd thing, that the touch of a person felt not real, though hr logical mind knew it was real. She took a pause before answering the question. In a way, she was a bit ashamed at her slow reaction to Yakuin, it only showed how her mental state had seemed to fall so far.

"...Koishi. I'm Koishi." She spoke quietly, looking up slightly. Her gaze was mostly calm, but also faraway as if daydreaming. In a manner, everything felt like a daydream.

The files said everything, but Yakuin barely gazed at them. However, she was not frustrated at the slow reaction. In fact, the green haired Iramasha took off her lap coat, as it was warm with her body warmth, and placed it around the girl, and sat herself beside her, and slowly pulled her closer. Because she was cold and Yakuin was told no clothes for her for now, even though this was longer then procedure. They were checking for viruses or contamination. Still, it was a bit cruel : and well, Yakuin may be insane, but she wasn't necessarily cruel. Sadistic, of course, as it was part of her nature : otherwise, it was just unneeded. The girl pulled the other a bit closer, as she sighed. ''I'm sure you understand why you're here. And I don't want to break your ears with the repetitions upon repetitions. I'm going to ask you an honest question, and I expect nothing out of it, so you can't be failure. Do you think you can make it on your own?'' she said. After all, that was the main reason for evaluation : the Iramasha wanted to see if the other sought treatment herself, or would continue to soldier on. But the angel would force nothing on the girl : that was the first step to losing her if anything. No... Yakuin would definitely take this as a long term project. Because although she didn't necessarily care, it was much too interesting to let up to generic measures.

And if anything, Yakuin was not a single ounce tempted for generic idiosyncrasies.
