«1ST Post Of The Challenge Done»

Well, the first post in this mini burst challenge felt pretty good. The reason for that is because it managed to get my muse engines going and it came out in the form of a Rose post to get things started. It is always nice to get the mean ol' Primera in working order for me. After all, once we have an active Espada on the site, things should be interesting for the Shinigami. The Shadow Espada and Gotei 13 brawling things out would be amusing to say the least.

Nevertheless, to get to the main point of the post, the thread was mostly about Verathius changing positions. He was originally apart of K-World, but now the thread is handling him converting over to Shadow Fall for the sake of his sisters. Therefore, a bunch of K-World diplomats came out to Demon World as Vera came to the Central Demon Nation. Once there, they negotiated details of his exchange over.

After these talks were finished, and his documentation processed, the birth of the Segunda Espada was made under the watchful eye of Styn, The Primera and K-World. So now Rose and her brother are left to pick up the pieces in the form of assembling their family back together, catching up with one another and wondering where this action will take them.

All in all, it was a nice, short and sweet thread for me. I doubt it will last much more than another round with the way things are going. If something does manage to make it last longer before they can get to Hueco Mundo, then it will be amusing to watch it play out.

Ah, the second post of this challenge was another thing that got my engines revving up. In this post, I felt I got a much better grasp on the goals Kin wants to achieve, how he wants to achieve them and just the kind of man he was. It had been quite some time since I had a muse sync like that with him in the way that post flowed out for me.

To get things started, the interaction between him and his daughter is one of the major things that made me HNGH in this thing. The promises he made to her, the love from her deceased mother/father and the way that Kin found his resolve for the actions he was doing in his daughter really helped moved things along. It made him feel less like a drone and more like a human because of what he is fighting for. And in an antag, that is always fun to have as it keeps them from being static and dull.

From there, there was a neat little scene between him and Tsubasa. It showed that Kin wasn't the type to shoot first and ask questions later with how he sensed him coming abroad his ship. However, this little interaction between them also unveiled he was quite the firm person with his boundaries. Prepared to attack him outright if he made the slightest move of aggression. Not to mention the fact that he gave him some solid advice to evacuate the area with how rough things were going to get with Brian's rebellion.

And boy, he laid down some pretty heavy retorts against him. Although Kin went on the offensive, he ensured not to take a single life as he dismantled the assaults made against him by the portion of the Rinyūaru under Brian's lead with assistance from Kameko. Once he was finished with that, he started stating off some of the mistakes he did indeed make in the past, but how K-World had improved the nations they had inhabited.

Kin started going on about he improved the economy, technology, freedom and standing in the world of China with how K-World abolished their old system. Not only that, he started pointing out flaws in Brian's conflict against him in stating that they were "Breaking the balance". The entire take-over, was, in fact, a peaceful one that was sorted out over the few Rinyūaru representatives left in the wake of their numbers dwindling. So to say that, and then reckless charge Kin with intent to drag his men into the line of fire to die, was something far more out of balance. As to him? It was all to satisfy Brian's own ego.

For, most of all, Kin was willing to work out a diplomatic solution with the portion of the Rinyūaru that did not wish to be absolved into K-World's ranks. He had never even thought to get included with these meetings during the Rinyūaru's inactivity, nor even ask Kin off the bat about what he was doing. Like a hot-headed kid, he jumped the gun and started firing like a mad man against a threat that, in Kin's mind, he could not win.

So he issued him to explain three things in the world that the Rinyūaru did to "Keep the balance", improve the world and otherwise justify their existence. As in the time they were established, not much was done by them in his eyes and he felt like he was doing Zefonse a favor by offering them this end out. Therefore, only time will tell how this meeting will turn out. I'm looking forward to how this thread is gonna progress.
