It's been one amazing year on Platinum Hearts and now it's time to look back as far as you possible can; from the start of 2014 to where we are now to decide the best nominations for their Of The Year Categories. This will also be our first time doing an Of The Year Series and I hope all goes well for those who take part in this event! I wish the best of luck of everyone who is entered in this thing and hope to have another this time next year!

• The Voting Rules For Curbstomp Thread Of The Year

1. Do NOT vote yourself. We will NOT count these votes.

2. NO VOTE RETRACTIONS! IF YOU VOTE FOR SOMEONE, PLEASE STICK WITH THAT PERSON! IF YOU HAVE A REASON TO PULL OUT? THEN YOU'D BETTER DAMN WELL STATE IT AND MAKE IT A GOOD ONE!

3. This thread will only last a maximum of one week. However, depending on outside circumstances, it can last for 3-7 days as these contest vary on how much time the staff on PH have to spend on them. So do not get pissy if we have some delays.

4. You can only vote for ONE person.

5. Do NOT make multiple accounts to vote for someone. If we catch people doing this, there will be a swift punishment waiting for you as we actively check IP's on the site.

First Place: The people who win first place in curbstomp of the year will receive 10,000,000 yen each, one skill upgrade, 1,500 awesome points, their own PH Medal, a mention in the Of The Month Winners and Of The Year Winners thread, their image on the sidebar for the month of January and a mention in the site's Youtube.

Second Place: The people who win runner up will receive 5,000,000 yen each and an honorary mention in the Of The Month/Winners threads along with a 2nd place medal.

Third Place: The people who win third place will receive 1,000,000 yen and an honorary mention in the Of The Month/Winners threads and possibly a 3rd place medal.

What was coming down to Tsubasa -- was a supernova. Tapping into the knowledge of Demon World, Khala located a dying star that was one hundred times larger than the Earth's sun that was blown away by runaway thermonuclear reactions. This was a type of supernova that seemed to be triggered by gamma ray-driven antimatter production. The star was so massive that its oxygen core began to release energetic photons that created pairs of electrons and antimatter positrons. The matter and antimatter annihilated each other, causing the star to collapse and ignite its oxygen core in a massive nuclear explosion; the likes of which has never been seen before. It obliterated the entire star, leaving no remnant except for a supernova one hundred times brighter than a typical supernova.

Indeed, a supernova is one of the most powerful events in the Universe since the Big Bang -- an event Khala herself was around for as the original Deveta. This enormous explosion can outshine all other stars in its host galaxy and the light can be detected from thousands of millions of light years away. So this was it -- her final trump card. This was a remnant from Deveta himself lost within the ruins of Demon World. In a multi-rainbowed blast that overpowered any other light in the Soul Society, Khala unleashed total and complete hell as the burst from Deveta's Supernova Star slammed down into Tsubasa.

If he were so intent on fighting a god, becoming a god and surpassing a god -- this was the final act to show him that it was -- useless. And for Khala? It proved to be a means of release and signified her letting go of her former-selves desire for perfect power. Being that this was a once in a lifetime move, Khala was betting all of her cards on this attack putting an end to the battle. So with Deveta's influence still remaining, the Supernova was condensed to cover every square inch of the battlefield -- but neither ally or enemy would be affected. Through Surpassing Law's will, the sole person to take the brunt of this damage was Tsubasa himself -- for he proved to be the final soul that needed to be snatched from his dream and into reality.

Once his power fell out of 0-1, their was little to nothing he could do. He simply fell over practically dead, his body was absolutely exhausted
