Reborn & Hungry.. The Pale Prince Awakens [open/ask first]

The 35th layer, known to some as the Tower, silently trembled for the umpteenth time in the past six months. All the residents of the Tower knew was that sometime roughly six months ago, before the tremors began, the presence of one Gwen was found solely in one location. The uppermost floor of the Tower. The residence of one Rakshasa of Gluttony, the keeper of this particular layer of Hell.

Unknown to those residing within this layer of Hell, except for Gwen of course, Bid'Daum was in a state many Rakshasa prefer to never experience. That between death and rebirth. In the case of the Rakshasa of Gluttony not only did this state include his energies slowly drawing to his corpse, but his lifeless body being consistently fed and kept in a 'recoverable' state. Luckily for the demon his Hell Beast was within his layer at the time of his demise. And thus the gluttonous demon was able to begin the process of a messy and painful rebirth, both for his body and soul.

In the months his body has spent recovery, and being taken care of by his devoted partner, the soul of Bid'Daum has suffered its own torturous journey on this road. The agony of being unable to truly feed, for the sustenance aiding his body was unable to be enjoyed by his soul & the core of his being. For a demon whose being was based around the sin of gluttony the inability to truly eat, devour, and simply enjoy having his fill, was an entirely different kind of torture altogether.

Alas that was not the end of the demons suffering over this months. Because when his lingering mentality wasn't focused on the hunger raging within his soul, it was focused upon his defeat and subsequent death at the hands of Magnolia. An event he wouldn't soon forget. For it not only humbled him, to a degree, but it completely enraged him. Things should have, and could have, gone vastly different.. Alas what happened has happened and he was paying for it. Even now as he could feel the time of his rebirth nearing. The demonic energies beginning to surge within his carefully cared for body slowly tugging at his soul even now.

Soon it would be time..
