★ OTY VOTES ★
★ What the hell are OTY's? Well, my friend, that is pretty simple! Towards the end OR beginning of the year (depending on when staff can be assed!), we usually host Of The Year Nomination and Finals.
In this event, we go back from the past year of 2017 and attempt to pick out different types of finalist to compete for OTY Finals from the nomination list. These can range from Thread Of The Year, Character Of The Year and etc.
So, in this thread, you'll be tasked with picking whom you think deserves the OTY by nominating them.
Please try to avoid nominating the same person/thread/character if they have already been nominated. Please.

★ This contest has a week before it will be closed by a staff member.
★ Try to think about your vote a little before aimlessly casting it.
★ If someone is already nominated, try to nominate someone else.

★ OTY PRIZES ★
★First Place: The people who wins first place in this of the Year category will receive one wish of their choosing by staff. We have full rights to deny it, so find something within reason. This can be anything from a board made, extra yen/awesome points, tier upgrade for a character, skill upgrade or whatever. The catch is that you'll have to pitch it well enough for us to do it. And you'll also get 10,000,000 yen, their own PH Medal and a mention in the Of The Month Winners and Of The Year Winners thread
★Second Place: The person who wins runner up will receive 5,000,000 yen and an honorary mention in the Of The Month/Winners threads along with a 2nd place medal.
★Third Place: The person who wins third place will receive 3,000,000 yen, an honorary mention in the Of The Month/Winners threads and possibly a 3rd place medal.

My nomination for Story Arc of the year is Yaksha's pursuit of a new future not just for Hollows, but for everyone, independent of Shadow Fall. While it may not seem like much at a glance, I think that the amount of effort that Yaksha has put toward this plot, working with quite a few characters both influential and minor alike, has been exceptionally impressive both from a writing standpoint and from the position of how many members he has managed to reach out to and incorporate into said plot.
I believe Yaksha, as a character, has seen exceptional growth both as far as his character goes and as far as his goals go. He's sought out very influential people, including Ravan, Rukia Kuchiki, and Zeda Yuudeshi, all in his attempt to prove that the Hollows can survive separate from SF and function alongside the Shinigami to maintain a relative balance. This story arc, while certainly not as flashy or necessarily exciting as a good deal many others, has incorporated a great deal of time, work, and above all, an exceptional approachability and desire to reach out to as many other members as possible, providing a very solid outlet for anyone to get not only some activity, but meaningful activity that contributes to a larger overall plot.

The Return of Tsubine.
I was a little apart of this story I do not deny this but even so, I loved the return of Tsubine to the site. First arriving in Karakura and meeting Snopy before reuniting with Shadin, then going into the Soul Society and her thread with Midori before the thread with Erika (and then with Erika and Midori). What I like in particular about this story is that it was very well done, it also leaves more room as well since it's still WIP. We have yet to see Murasaki and in particular one of my favourite anticipated threads in this arc is a thread with her student Zin Yuudeshi.
While there was literally no fights in this entire story - aside from the beatings she took from a few people for her disappearance - I love the emotional impact the threads bring, the pain that she has to endure after returning and the way it affects both her and the people she encounters is truly the reason I call it my favourite for this year. I say even if I wasn't apart of this story I'd still find it appealing because of the interactions and happening of the character's interactions.

I am nominating the Arc between Abalia Sesshouin and Desmond Hayden for the epic and hilarious romance story going on between them. Abalia's refusal to give Hayden a chance at love because he's a King is just too funny to me. Abalia! You're the only woman for him! Open up your heart and let him in!
