2020 Character Of The Year Nominations

★ OTY VOTES ★
★ What the hell are OTY's? Well, my friend, that is pretty simple! Towards the end OR beginning of the year (depending on when staff can be assed!), we usually host Of The Year Nomination and Finals.
In this event, we go back from the past year of 2020 and attempt to pick out different types of finalist to compete for OTY Finals from the nomination list. These can range from Thread Of The Year, Character Of The Year and etc.
So, in this thread, you'll be tasked with picking whom you think deserves the OTY by nominating them.
Please try to avoid nominating the same person/thread/character if they have already been nominated. Please.

★ You can only vote for one member!
★Make sure to state the name of the person you are nominating
★ This contest has a week before it will be closed by a staff member.
★ Try to think about your vote a little before aimlessly casting it.
★ If someone is already nominated, try to nominate someone else.

★ OTY PRIZES ★
★First Place: The person who wins first place in this "of the Year" will receive one wish of their choosing by staff. We have full rights to deny it, so find something within reason. This can be anything from a board made tier upgrade for a character, skill upgrade or whatever. The catch is that you'll have to pitch it well enough for us to do it.
★Second Place: The person who wins runner up will get an honorary mention in the Of The Years/Winners
★Third Place: The person who comes in 3rd will get an honorary mention.

Is my nomination biased? Probably, but I also think every nomination is biased when you're on a site with such a big scope. Nobody actually has an omniscient view of every character and what they're up to.
Who'm I nominating? The one and only Helle Armstrong, of course.
I could toot my own horn all day about all the super cool stuff I've done for the Vandenreich with Cyrus or whatever, but I can honestly say that Helle's easily been the actual cornerstone of a lot of what the Vandenreich's managed. She's always involved with not just the many members of the Vandenreich, but with the people outside of it as well. She's engaged in a lot of major social interactions, and through all of that she's seen a pretty substantial development that I think is really interesting. Her entire character is a fish out of water, and I think Sieghart has consistently done very well in making that clear through everything she does.
Her arc has brought her into a pretty great romance story, of course, but I honestly don't believe that romance would ever be remotely as interesting if it weren't for everything else that surrounds her character and the way she's written.

I'm going to nominate Yugiri Shihoin, played by the wonderful lass Gamma.
To add an explanation, I think the character has come a long way and has had some serious progression from what they started as and what they have become, not only with their powers but as a character as well.
I also want to throw out two honorable mentions because they should be noticed: Keiko Kuchiki and Ira. Keiko was a good character and SE took what he was given and ran with it and honestly made a good few threads with the premise of "cripple". Ira because the character makes me laugh and I honestly can't get over "Old man in small girl's body".
