Spontaneous, Splendorous Show-up [Erchanhardt, Himiko]

Erchanhardt continued gently running his hand down her tail, still taking a moment to really grasp how large it was. Was this an annoyance for her? He doubted it, if only by merit of simply being used to it.

"You do certainly seem to put a great deal of effort into its care. I admire that dedication."

Only after he was certain that their meal absolutely demanded his attention did Erchanhardt remove his hands from her tail, and he was almost faintly disappointed to do so. At times he felt as though Himiko were pulling him along in this relationship of theirs, making the whole situation move far faster than he would have done himself. That said... Perhaps that was a good thing, really.

Removing everything from the fire without any need for protective cover, Erchanhardt washed his hands before plating everything nicely, his finesse surprisingly intricate for his size.

"Hopefully I might repay your kindness with this meal, yes?"

"I feel thoroughly blessed, then, to see you at your best. I think you do look quite lovely."

To the table Erchanhardt went, setting down the two plates next to each other. He thought that might have seemed a bit forward, though he then remembered who it was that he was dating. She likely would have preferred it this way, really. Pulling out a seat for her, he gave her that handsome smile, definitely more confident in these situations than he had been in their earliest dates.

"If you are not terribly busy after dessert, would you care to go out for a bit more time on the town? Or would you prefer to rest for the day? I imagine you might be a bit tired out after your patrol, hm?"

Look at him, having such faith in her dutiful nature as a shinigami.

Erchanhardt took his seat next to Himiko, still confident and only becoming more so at her obvious cheer. While there was decidedly a part of him which wished to show her the town, he could not deny that there was a great appeal in simply spending the day here with her in peace and quiet. There were few he would tend to wish accompany him for such a day, but she was certainly one of them.

"That is perfectly fine by me. I think a quiet evening with just us sounds thoroughly lovely."

What exactly did he have in mind, however? Truth be told, he wasn't especially sure. The castle was relatively empty, though there was at least a fair bit worth showing her that he hoped she would enjoy. The Amber Room, if nothing else, would surely impress. But, for now, there was a meal to enjoy, and so he did indeed dig in.

"How long will you be in this area? I do hope this is not simply a short visit for a day or two."
