Home Coming [Sol/Alex (But which one?)]

It'd been a while since Solhammond Palliser stepped foot in Africa, and in some ways it felt like coming home while also entirely foreign. The moment his foot stepped off the platform designated for realm travel, he felt the hot sun of his homeland. A brief memory played in his mind, a familiar face he wished he could see. His brother. He missed him. He wondered where he was, what he was up to. But such thoughts did little for him, so the Shinigami dismissed them.

Instead, he began to slow walk in the Capital towards the only place that might have a couch for him to sleep on. His apartment had long been abandoned, his truck sold awhile back. He had put in some paper work to use his leave with the Gotei, granting him more than enough time to get his affairs in order. In truth, some part of him simply wanted to be back here. Walking down the main street of the Capital, the city seemed to lively. So different.

The slow walk to the building he was looking forward, had a peace to it. His hands tucked within his pockets. His grey irises holding that same conflicted look that seemed etched into his being. When he arrived at the building, he removed a tattoo'd hand and knocked.

This was the Alex residence last he checked. Hopefully, someone would be here.
