God, how boring. She as well as several others were sent off to monitor an area for suspected malignant demon activity. The residents seemed awful fearful of something or someone damaging property throughout the night, and Liltotto herself did confirm there definitely was a demonic presence, but she found it in the best interests of her far squishier squadmates that they didn't run after whatever troublesome group may be present, getting the inkling that they may be a lot more dangerous than initially chalked to be.

And so, there she was, staking out for the night to catch the shitstain causing issues as the rest of them slept in relative safety. Perhaps she was being a little overprotective, but she needed an idea of what they were dealing with. Deep into the night, she caught the strongest whiff of that familiar stench, and immediately gave chase through the town cloaked in darkness, ripping a glowing rapier of energy to life as she went about, before another, rather concerning incoming presence stopped her in her tracks,

"...What the fuck?" She'd utter as her head would whip in the direction. Was that a hollow?

A Dragon | Nothing More, Nothing Less

Pain. The hunger pained her stomach more than it used to. It was more than pain, now it was agony. But humans were supposed to fill her belly, were they not? This sensation was becoming inescapable. The dragon hated how much worse it felt now. What was she supposed to do about this? Memories of being full for days came flooding back to her, but that was from eating souls almost as strong as she was. Finding those was difficult. Other Hollows didn't tend to reach her level of power very often, Shinigami even less so, and humans? What a joke.

But as she turned her head to lay eyes upon a little lady with a sword of some sort staring her down, The Dragon felt like whatever joke of a God there was had been listening to her thoughts.

"Ah. My dinner has arrived." Said the beast in her scratchy voice. "Please stand still. I'm not in the mood to fight for my meal."

Spreading her hole-filled wings out through the air, The Dragon flapped them once and a cloud of grayish-white effluvia was blasted towards this stranger. If she moved, that was fine. It wouldn't take long for her to get shot down and then devoured. She had enough patience to at least take a few minutes for this, but Liltotto was on an enrage timer. All she could do was try to kill The Dragon, or run far enough away to lose her. If neither of those things happened... well, then she better have a high tolerance to pain.

"Uh. Nah."

Yeah, it was a really good thing she didn't have her patrol team with her, but that hunch she had definitely didn't say, 'hey a giant ass scruffy hollow dragon's gonna come try to gobble you up, don't bring the fam bam', definitely something she did not have in mind as a possible threat, but here she was, working with it.

Standing in the path of a noxious dust cloud? Not a smart move for most organisms, but it was the fastest way for Lil to determine how fucked she'd be by an area of effect attack. If it affected her to a noticeable amount, that was pretty bad, if not, hardly an issue. She spotted the decay of plant matter around her, but she herself found that she was... Virtually unharmed, any additional effects that may have befallen her just being eaten away by her presence's natural consumptive force. Alright, sweet, no surprises here, and an additional reason to just always listen to her gut. Boss wouldn't be too thrilled with her eating it, so her best had to lie in just driving it away or getting it to stop, else she's got a whole town of people to be concerned about.

"If you want a meal so bad, hunt it like a predator, pussyface," She'd stick her tongue out mockingly, "Is that stank shit you just shat out your cave crusties? Smell like you haven't gotten off your lazy fungi ass in ages."

Was she trying to lure it away from town, exerting her rather tantalizing presence just to make her all the more appetizing? Yep. Were the insults necessary? Nope. Either way, she'd get her ass moving, baiting the hollow to follow her to somewhere a lot less populated. Last thing she wanted was to report melted people and wrecked buildings.

The Dragon blinked as Liltotto's mouth spilled nothing but absolute filth. The sheer combination of words she was using personally offended her Hollow adversary, working the overgrown lizard into something akin to a rageful haze. And yet even still, she had enough of a brain not to follow the ungodly obvious bait. Insult her and then leave? Even her simple minded self wasn't stupid enough to fall for that. No, if Liltotto wanted to run, then she could. But The Dragon would definitely remember her face and voice for later.

That pesky little bastard could wait, and so could her hunger. All The Dragon felt now was unbridled rage. And what was there around for her to take that rage out on? A bunch of civilians and the buildings they resided in. Rearing up on her hind legs, The Dragon flared her wings and took a deep breath. A second later, the air was pierced by a shrieking roar just moments before a burst of effluvia ruptured forth from the terrible Dragon's scales. It wasn't limited to her immediate vicinity, either. Her effluvia could reach up to a mile if given enough time, and unless Liltotto could suddenly contain it, that's exactly what it would do.

"If you want to fight, then fight me with honor!!" Howled the Dragon to the sky. "Face me yourself or forever live with your cowardice!!"

Alright.. Smart enough to not blindly follow her, but stupid enough to fucking posture and demand an honorable fight in the middle of a sleepy town.

God damn it! She thought as she quickly doubled back to deal with that cloud. Oh, she'd kill for wings or that bullshit air walking Shinigami did... Even if she couldn't contain all of it, at least getting most of it gone would be enough to prevent casualties, but her methodology would NOT be fun for her. From the darkness, a large maw would form, several blurs lashing out to nip away at the cloud as she extended her mouth to stretch up and devour the disgusting powder.

Yay, she sure as hell was gonna have a fun next few hours processing that, "Good fuck, dude. You call fighting in the middle of a town of people who can't do dick against you 'honorable'? Yeah whatever, we can fight, just not here!"

Other people? Oh, she supposed that was right. This was a residential area, after all. It was just that the residents here were so unfulfilling to eat that The Dragon genuinely forgot about them. What inconsequential morsels they were. So pitiful that they couldn't make a dent on the insatiable hunger that plagued her being.

"If they were stronger and able to enforce their will, then I would consider their existence something more worth acknowledging. But they're so weak and unable to protect themselves, that slaughtering them by the dozen is not honorable, nor dishonorable. They are pointless scraps for the lesser whelps of my kind to feed on while the rest of us gorge on each other like beasts."

A claw rose from the ground, and from it The Dragon charged and fired a shotgun of Bala in Liltotto's general direction. She didn't know how weak or strong the woman's ability to devour things was, but she had time to test it. More limit testing, something she needed to do more of after recovering from her last bout with a couple of Shinigami. After that shotgun of Bala, she fired another, then another. Maybe they would be eaten, maybe just avoided, The Dragon was curious to see other people's powers now. After all, it seemed everyone had such strange abilities nowadays. How or why, she didn't know. But she was curious to find out.

Ugh she was already feeling squeamish... How annoying. She couldn't let them destroy the town, but that sure as fuck was a lot harder without any way to lure it off! Tricking it into following her was her best bet, but the damn thing was too stubborn...

Fine, she just had to get through this fast...

"God," She'd slip through Bala shots, dodging them with relative ease, "Ya sure do have a weird perception of people. Have you ever considered that not everybody's built for fighting?"

Chatting and fighting wasn't her favorite thing, but clearly this hollow was running on some barbaric principles. She understood being a hollow was pretty much a fucking nightmare, and that strength was valued off in Hueco Mundo, but this was an absolutely stupid way to measure how much a life was worth to her,

"Maybe they don't want to fight, you ever figure that? Maybe people just want to live normal fucking lives, have a job, fuck, have fun, whatever, instead of just thrusting themselves into danger?" Her blade glowed with spiritual energy as she readied an attack, immediately darting towards the dragon with a sword ready to swing,

"If you really value the honor of battle so much, why not pick on fuckers your own size, instead of guys who can't even do shit against you?! Honorable fighter? Pft, you sound more like some schoolyard bully!"

And with a hard thrust, a glowing acidic cut would burst from her blade, in a flying arc straight to the hollow in the short range she broke between them.

A Dragon | Nothing More, Nothing Less

"I won't spout any more trash about honor." The Dragon said, watching Liltotto start to close the gap. "But those who cannot defend themselves from death have no right to complain about their position. Neither do you, child."

With a flap of her wings and a push of her four legs, The Dragon took off into the air just in time to avoid Liltotto's attack. One of her claws was clutched, a gray colored energy building up before being released onto Liltotto in the form of another shotgun of Bala. This time, however, it was infused with the very miasma that was already coating the nearby vicinity.

"If you're so concerned about their wellbeing, then save them. Swallow my effluvia all you want, see how it fares you, whelp."

Surely there was a limit to that ability. The Dragon would love to see it. This would be another fight to test her limits. Maybe even a battle to the death. That would be almost comical, given how the girl seemed to be rushing towards her of her own volition. With her other claw, she charged up another shotgun of Bala and unleashed it directly towards Liltotto. More and more kept flying her way, The Dragon alternating between both of her clawed hands to keep attacking her adversary until there was some kind of response. How long she could keep doing this, The Dragon didn't know. But that was part of why she kept fighting. All she wanted to do was learn what her limits are, and Liltotto was going to help her with that whether she liked it or not.

What a weirdo... She'd ponder as she immediately dashed out of the way of the incoming Bala, but saw the familiar shimmer of particles. Those nasty scale things were in the Bala, too?! God, she couldn't let the town melt and this fucking hollow was so stubborn as to force her to effectively fight tied down. It irritated the hell out of her!

She tried to minimize the damage by snapping up the released particles, not seeming to tire so easily, before she shot a glare at the dragon, "Look fucker, If you want a fight, don't give me so much work to give it to you! I can't focus on and fight you if I gotta clean your shit up as we go along!"

A huff would escape her throat, but she'd grin, "Unless ya really don't want to see what I can do? Awful difficult to fight at my fullest here, ya know?"

If this beast's language was fights and not fairness or concern, then she just had to speak it. Clearly it was interested in pushing her limits, but how could she do that here?

"Then again, if you think watching some chick eat up your crap all night is fun, hey I won't judge!"

"What a foul-mouthed brat."

The Dragon spewed her insult with a hint of venom in her tone. Here she was able to scream acid from her mouth, and yet still this girl was managing to vomit filthier things herself. The idea of her testing her powers was slowly being forgotten in favor of just ridding herself of this child. It would probably be another favor to the world as well. And then Liltotto tried taunting her about power, to which The Dragon immediately snarled viciously in response.

"No."

Flaring her wings outwards, The Dragon flung more effluvia throughout the air in every direction. Up, down, left, right, forward, back. Every which way was covered in a thick miasma of digestive, glittery, pale vapor. The Dragon was of course immune to it, she kept it hidden beneath her scales after all, but the rest of the world was not. And surely there was some kind of limit to how much this nuisance could swallow as well, no? The Dragon was content to find out simply because if she was right, then Liltotto would eventually start having an awful time.

From the gaps in her wings formed small lights. Liltotto had maybe several seconds to recognize this and do whatever she needed to do to leave before The Dragon would fire four Effluvial Cero straight at her. The beams would fly forth and, with the combined power of her Effluvia and her talent in Cero usage, carve through the environment and leave a thin layer of Effluvial Grime that would get stuck on anything the Cero had touched. And should her little Quincy adversary touch any of it? She would find that same grime sticking to her as well.
