"A duel's not over until someone gives up... and I'm still standing."

She didn't give up, it didn't matter what anyone said or did. She was too stubborn for her own good to quit in a duel, especially when this guy had to be using some kind of foulplay. She didn't sense enough reiatsu from this guy to explain all those slashes which mean they had to be some kind of manipulation of the world around him. His strength was just borrowed from what was around him.

"I'll only die if you kill me, and no way will I die to you."

Nao answered while lunging at him again. Foot kicking up the ground to exert her reiatsu and ruin his stable ground again to try and get her naginata in a favourable position, even if she felt she had the superior weapon and he was cheating she felt like she was outclassed by the way he handled his sword like it was part of him.

"So be it."

Nothing more needed to be said on that matter. Fuuen knew himself well enough to know that he could take down the vast majority of opponents without killing them. It was only in true life or death situations where he could not avoid that unpleasant reality of battle. Unlike before, Fuuen had been ready for Nao to kick up the earth, and he matched her unsteadiness with another swing of his blade, another Soshuu Enoshima once more cutting through the earth underfoot to meet her own efforts.

Naturally, however, the blade continued to arc upward, and it would almost assuredly cut directly into Nao if she didn't change her trajectory. The length of the Yuudachi gave him a rather significant range advantage, to a degree that let him easily match polearms. Might he take a blow from her spear by doing this? If they were both in peak condition, certainly. But Fuuen was far less wounded than she was, and he had no intention of taking something so severe as a naginata to the chest.

SAWACHIKA NAO

Nao was getting really annoyed by the blood in her eyes from the cuts on her face, combined with her weariness it didn't make her very happy when felt his attack in her forearm. Pain wasn't really on her mind anymore though, there was just persistence that even if he cut off her arm she'd get it fixed later. That's just the kind of person she was.

"Sanzan Koken - Shinsou..."

It wouldn't be as impressive as before since she was so beat up and exhausted but she'd hit him with it one more time just to make sure. He might have an attack like he did but Nao just saw that as an obstacle and everything that blocked her path should be broken so that she could realise her goal of the unbreakable.

"Mōko Tozandō!"

Unlike before she did not have three additional speed clones as she launched towards him, her reiatsu all being driven outside of her arm and into the length of the spear at the tip. She couldn't simply climb a mountain, she'd have to carve a path through this guy with her spear and if she could then she'd end up standing in front of him with her naginata to the side of his neck.

As Nao prepared herself for her next attack, so too did Fuuen. His stance grew centered again, and the energy in the air began to dance over the Yuudachi like electricity, crackling and flowing across the edge. He imagined this would be the final strike in this bout, so he felt he ought to finish it with a technique he'd yet to display to any of his other shinigami compatriots.

"Sankei: Sanka Hakuu."

His blade cut downward in a single straight line, yet as it did so, the energy coursing over it split off like lightning, forming into two other blades for only a moment, long enough to form into an X shape that cut alongside the Yuudachi's natural downward arc. Were it not for the length of his sword, he was certain that he would have had to make a radically different approach to this.

As it stood, however, he was content to let the bout end there. The phantasmal cuts might have coursed downward, but the Yuudachi itself hung precariously over Nao, a hair's breadth away from cleaving her in two. But he glanced toward the naginata blade at his neck with a small, approving smile.

"It seems this bout is a draw, hm?"

SAWACHIKA NAO

She remained in her taut position, if it wasn't for the amount of adrenaline in her system and the fact that her reiryoku had entirely receded inside of her body to function as a crutch that prevented her from falling then she might've collapsed there. It was evident to any trained eye that she had paralysed herself just to avoid sinking to the ground in defeat.

The final strike to Fuuen's neck would hardly be anything special besides the act of falling if she was to continue. Even if he called a draw she winced with more pain that her pride took than any of the wounds he'd hit her with.

"I'll beat you... next time."

She muttered from her unmoving form.
