She held back a laugh with that blush. It was always funny to see the young man get so flustered over her words, her upper body draped in rest on the couch as she'd grin, giving him a small thumbs up, "Igendai, if you ever wanna train, don't feel afraid to approach me about it. Get it? Got it? Good," Her tone was a bit chiding, but definitely playful - she was more or less telling him not to sweat it so much if that's what he really wants, blonde locks shifting as her gaze went to the TV for a moment. She sure was lucky to have gotten one so cheap!

"Yep, everyone's doing their fair share, and doin' it real well," She'd respond with a grin; as much as she reminisce the days where Toshiro took up most of the paperwork, it wasn't like Rose was letting her drown in it; everyone did a fair amount and work got done at the end of it all, so who cares about who was doing how much at that point?

Though she was smiling with Igen's recognition, a look of fondness crossing her features, "Oh yeah, we go way back. I still go by her even now for a visit if she isn't busy. Not a shock she'd have such a cute kid, and a handsome young man!" It was very obvious a whole slew of good memories were going through her mind as she thought back to helping with raising Toki and her talks with Momo and the others - it definitely made her recovery after the war a lot easier.

"Hey don't 'poor kid' him! He's fine and perfectly capable! None of that crap's gonna tear him down." Her brows knit, recalling she herself had to chastise others she caught giving the young man a hard time for his relations; Toki was his own person, and she wasn't going to take any comments on otherwise from anyone - who he looks like shouldn't ever matter, for all she could see he only recognized his mother.

"That's great though, glad to hear you'll give him a chance."
