Catch a Tiger (Snake) By The Tail [Kita/Safira]

Coughing blood on already thin breath wasn't enough to stop her in her current state, her red eyes deadlocked on Safira as her free hand readied another Cero. The arrancar was deep in bloodlust, a red mist that only grew thicker with each abuse thrown her way, regardless of her weakness - it just fed her anger. The part of her self keeping her from feeling the pain and wear on her form filled her mind with fantasies of winning, the rush of killing prey, the dead and mangled forms of those who wronged her at her feet, her alone in a field of blood and success, ignorant to the ghosts of melancholy that would fill the gaping void in her loss of purpose - if there was no kindling for the flame, it would be nothing but smoke, red eyes reflecting nothing but that voracious drive to feed that flame.

The ball of energy crushed in her hand, a single arm swinging to deliver a strike directly to Safira, even as her reiatsu suffocated her.

How much did it take to sedate an enraged tiger? Safira would have it down to a fine science by the end of this. For the moment though she was just trying to instil some of her poison into Kita which would have a physical effect and slow her movements. Not to a standstill but just enough to make her powerful blows all the more sluggish.

With her free hand she intercepted and took hold of Kita's blow. The strike impacting into her arm and sending hairline fractures through her forearm but her little cero wouldn't achieve much more than some slight burns.

"Kneel."

Safira taunted the tiger under the duress of her reiatsu. Pressure concentrating on the tiger's body like the weight of a building was bearing down on the poor body.

The sensation of being pushed harder and harder into a corner only furthered the boiling rage and desire for retribution inherent to the Arrancar, a beast against a titan did nothing but struggle and roar against the might pressed against it, wrenching and twisting to get out of Safira's grasp even as her vision flickered in clarity from her lack of breath, consciousness kept only from sheer will to act on pure vengeance, her sweat beginning to turn into steam from the heat on her skin. The wild tiger lacked any control of her present state, a sorry consequence of her past, as it wouldn't be enough to match the other.

Even as her reiatsu roared back, it was simply deafened by the weight. Her knees threatened to buckle as her body was wearing down from the pressure, her eyelids drooping as the venom numbed her body, her once sure grip beginning to tremble and slip, though forced to maintain their grasp. The command only pushed her raged state to bite the snake on the side of the neck, having jerked herself upward with what little leverage she had to clamp down on a spot she instinctively flagged as vulnerable, biting down with as much of her fleeting strength she had left, the acidic qualities of her fangs attempting to break down her flesh.

But it was a futile struggle, in the end.

"Do you really think you're getting near my neck?"

Safira asked as quickly as it took her to catch Kita's neck and slam her head into the marble of the floor. She held her down tight and pressed her body weight onto the other woman. No escape and no mercy either. Kita had decided to face her in earnest and now she would get to suffer the consequences for not being able to amount to victory.

"Go to sleep like a nice little cat, by the time you wake up you'll be on your way to being more worthy to demand my time in your pathetic attempts at a fight."

She drew in a sharp breath from the sensation of her neck being grabbed, only to have any attempt at retaliation thwarted with her head smashing into the cold, unnatural floor she loathed, smudges of red wetting her snow white locks as her flimsy release faded from her appearance, twitching red eyes having mellowed back to a gold, the tigress choked under the weight of the victor. Her consciousness was barely maintained after pulling itself from the red haze, unable to move her body, much less speak. Her regeneration definitely kept any wounds sustained from the altercation from being a problem, but regardless of what her fading will wanted, she was pinned beneath Safira, barely able to even hold her eyes open.

"..What... Are.. Yh.. Do...ing...?" Were the only words she could croak out, weak confusion in her dulled gaze as her eyes threatened to flutter shut.

"Just making you useful. Don't fret so much over it. You should be glad really, just the fact you'll host some sliver of me should make you revere your own existence as having some merit from now on as opposed to your boorish and meaningless life you've had until this point."

Safira assured, making sure that Kita could be made nice and weak. Weak enough that the tiny sliver of her nucleus that she'd implant inside of her had the best chance to cultivate itself inside of Kita to avoid rejection. Why do all the work herself to become a greater version of herself? It was so much easier making others do it for her.

"Now why don't you shut up and take a nap."

She insisted, delivering the final blow in the process.

Useful..?

The beast of a woman was rendered motionless and unable on the ground, willing and stubbornness being the only things keeping her awake at this point. Safira's poison raked her veins like ice, the numbing sensation having become familiar yet repulsive to experience. Some part of her had wondered why she hadn't simply killed her in this foolish fight to determine just how strong, or rather, weak she was in comparison, but it was answered quickly by the victor's intent being spoken aloud. Her current state was already humiliating, but what she intended to do made it all the worse. She hated this woman, she wished her dead, but not only was she beaten by her, but she'd be forced to carry a part of her as well? It made her sick, it made this sting all the more.

"..Stop.." Her voice shuddered, forcing it's hoarse sound from her weakened body, gathering what might she had left in order to scream in useless defiance, "STOP IT!-"

The final strike took her consciousness away as simply as putting out a light, finally laying still and quiet at the mercy of the greater.
