Recently, Ichigo Kurosaki had found himself with a new friend to train, a very little girl called Nanao. Ichigo was convinced into to this after seeing personal reccomendtions and her good grades in the Academy, but he wasn't sure how things we're going to go with her, considering how young she was, he thought that maybe he could shape her into a strong Shinigami later on in her life. He knew he could do it, and he knew that he could see this girl to greatness!

But this was all his thoughts while he was in BED never the less. So his first step would be to actally get out of bed. Rising out of bed, Ichigo stepped out. His expression, his hair, all appeared to be one of a guy that has literally woken up seconds again. Rubbing his head, he walked out, taking Zangetsu from close to his door, placing it onto his back. He walked out to try and find Nanao so he could begin what he had planned for her. Walking into the main barracks, he shouted. "NANAO! HEY! You around here?!"

~Nanao~

ZzzzzzzzZzzzzzzz

The soft snoring filled the otherwise silent room. The room was cluttered with pink and blue protective mats, attacked to the walls and placed down on the floor. In the center of the room was a large bed, and on all four corners sat a different large stuffed animal. On the top right sat the 6 foot tall flamingo, Felipe. The top left sat the 4 foot lobster sabastion. The bottom right stood the 3 foot tall stuffed robot, crow. And last the bottom left the...gumball machine mismatch named Tom Servo.

From outside the room the sounds of the barracks in the morning could be heard. Feet moving from rooms. Greetings of other squad mates. The occasional stream of urine when it got real silent. None of this bothered the small girl sleeping in the bed, covered up in the pink blanket. She was Nanao Kurosa, and she was fast asleep hugging her stuffed platipus Potato.

Ichigos call with Nanao was just met with slience within the halls of the 13th Division barracks. Ichigo then did that un shocked face, little girls tend to sleep rather long periods of time, so he thought he'd have to go and confront her directly in her own room! Ichigo began walking to Nanaos room, and she would probably hear the footsteps leading up to it, getting louder and louder.. "Ill wake her up myself then!"

He found her room and began knocking on the door loudly so that hopefully she would wake up, but Ichigo knew this wasn't going to work, but he did wait a few minutes, idling by the door... "HEY! Are you awake yet!?" He then waited patiently at the door for some kind of answer from the girl.

~Nanao~

At the knock on the door the sleep mood of the last two previously mentioned stuffed compainions around the bed turned off, revealing crow and tom servo to be robots. Nanao continued to snore peacefull despite the noise, having been use to it from when she lived with her mother.

You hear that Tom? Sounds like Bela Lagosi is doing a tap dance show on the door.

The golden colored robot, Crow said as he turned his head to look at his gumball machine shaped counter part. His beak like mouth moved with the words, causing a slight snaping sound with each word.

Blah one two three one two three blah~

He continued with an impression as the before mentioned actor playing the role of dracula. He was nearly dead on for a robot that is. The impression brought a chuckle to the tiny beak like mouth of his counterpart. Then Ichigo opened the door, sliding it across its guide pretty roughly.

Captain long torso!

Both bots exclaimed as he entered. They rocked back in forth as if in laughter at their own lame joke for a moment before they spoke again.

How many viagra does it take to keep that sword there stiff all the time there Ron Jeremy?

Crow cackled as only a robot can at his own joke again as Tom spoke.

Yeah, trying to compensate for something are we?

More like over compesate!

The two robots giggled again at their own lame jokes as crow continued.

Slowly in the bed Nanao stirred as she woke up. She sat up in the bed and rubbed her eyes for a moment. As she did both robots froze back into their original positions. After a minute or two of clearing sleep from her eyes Nanao looked cheerfully up at Ichigo.

Oh good morning papa Ichigo!

The girl stood up and ran to him, hugging her arms around his legs.

Ichigo, as he heard the noise of two talking people, he wondered what it was.. but it didn't even sound like a person.. more like some kind of clockwork toy. He didn't pay attention to them.. but he started to look at them with a annoyed face at the kind of ridiclous jokes they were making. What the hell are these guys, Ichigo was thinking about that. "HEY! Your jokes are crap! Shut up!" After telling off the robots, Ichigo watched Nanao wake up, and he gave off a nice smile to her.

One thing Ichigo wondered is why when she got up, the dolls stop talking.. this reminded him of some kind of film. After doing that, IChigo smiled at Nanaos cheerful face and accepted her hug. "Good morning Nanao. How are you this morning?" He spoke with his reinforcing, tone that made you feel good inside..

~Nanao~

"HEY! Your jokes are crap! Shut up!"

Nanao looked up at Ichigo confused for a moment. Who was he talking to? She had not made any jokes. Maybe someone outside her room had been telling them. She decided to go with that, sneaking a peek around Ichigo into the hallway outside to see who it may of been.

"Good morning Nanao. How are you this morning?"

Ichigo's voice made her feel good inside. Like hope had filled her. She looked up at him grinning as she replied.

''I feel good this morning Papa Ichigo!''

Her stomach growled a bit as she spoke. She had not eaten since supper the night before. She released Ichigo from the hug and wondered to herself if the barracks had closed for breakfast. It just then occured to her Ichigo had woken her up for something and she looked back up at him wondering why.

Ichigo realised that she wouldn't understand what he was shouting at. After all, she probably didn't even know what these dolls were doing while she was sleeping. He figured he should tell her anyway, but after he listened to her. Ichigo felt rather stupid.. but he thought he was going to hell her. "You know.. there were talking dolls in there!? They stopped when you woke up, and when we leave the barracks they'll probably go at it again!"

Ichigo just wanted to know if she even knew about this. Ichigo was getting offtrack of his orignal plan though. He was going to take Nanao and try and teach her more about being a Shinigami, as he was going to make her strong. He knew what he was doing with this. But in a train of thought being lost, he shouted. "What is with those dolls!?" but then finally began walking outside the barracks. "C'mon, Nanao. We're goin outside!"

~Nanao~

"You know.. there were talking dolls in there!? They stopped when you woke up, and when we leave the barracks they'll probably go at it again!"

Nanao looked up at Ihigo curiously. Dolls do not talk...or atleast she had never heard one talk before. Maybe hearing dolls talk was something that she would learn when she was stronger. She smiled to herself as that was another reason to train hard. Having conversation with her dolls would be so much fun!

''Papa Ichigo I never heawd dolls talk.''

"What is with those dolls!?" but then finally began walking outside the barracks. "C'mon, Nanao. We're goin outside!"

She fell in beside Ichgo as they exited her room. That was a strange thing...Ichigo hearing dolls talk.

When Nanao was out the door just ahead of Ichigo Tom servo spoke once again.

I'd hate to shoot a butt like that.

It looks like two pancakes fighting it out.

It's fannytastic!

I wonder if he is anal on the rules?

It's ASSemetric.

I bet his car is BUTTery powered.

And so on they riffed as Nanao wondered down the hall, Ichigo behind her.

As the dolls started again, Ichigo suddenly swiftly turned his head around to the door of Nanao's room. He was just being paranoid though and then he heard nothing. With that in mind, they exited the 13th squad barracks. "You've never heard them talk...? Well I did.. I don't know why because THEY SHOULDN'T BE TALKING!" He was going a bit crazy about this topic. He was beginning to lose sight of why he even woke her up and took her out here! To learn about what she was capable of.

After walking to some training grounds near the Barracks, he hoped Nanao was following, which she was most likely. Ichigo then prepared what he was going to today. Learn what this girl couldn't/could do. "Okay Nanao, i brought you here to train you a bit. I'm not going to fight you or anything.. because your a little girl. But.. I want you to show me any Shinigami skills you know. Kido, and stuff like that. Okay?" Ichigo then looked at her observingly to see what she would do. Considering how Nanao took Renji down with one punch, she was sure to have some potential.

~Nanao~

Nanao dances along behind Ichigo as he lead her out to the training area near the barracks. She seemed to have all the energy in the world, almost literally bouncing off the walls and later in the walk off the ground. She swayed her small body to her own little tune as they arrived to the training grounds.

"Okay Nanao, i brought you here to train you a bit. I'm not going to fight you or anything.. because your a little girl. But.. I want you to show me any Shinigami skills you know. Kido, and stuff like that. Okay?"

Nanao brought her left pinky to her lip and chewed a moment. She looked to be in deep thought. After a moment she grinning and then looked around. She then pointed her finger at Ichigo, the best test subject she could see.

''SAI!''

She called out as the effects of the basic kido took hold. She sat a moment thinking before she continued.

''Shō!''

She continued as the invisable push would also do its think to her test subject.

''Hainawa!''

She followed up with hr other basic holding spell, as the white tendons twirled their way toward Ichigo.

''Byakurai!''

The electrified beam blazed toward Ichigo as she pointed her finger at him. Nanao was feeling confident having pulled off all four of her spells in a row...well the ones the instucter has told her to limit to. She felt so confident she throught she could pull off a kido she had seen a much older student perform.

"Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!"

Suddenly her spirit pressure flaired up several times that of normal. She would feel for a moment to be atleast captain strength. Suddenly her own spirit energy began to rip and tear at her clothes and flesh. Nanao screamed out in pain as blood began to seep from the gashes from the own uncontrollable tornado of her spirit energy she had unleashed. Suddenly came the flash as the kido backfired. The little body was flung several feet, landing in a smoking heap on the ground. The girl seemed dazed for a moment as she looked at the sky. Droplets of blood seeping here and there under her torn robe.

She had made a huge mistake. She had tried to use a kido she was severly unprepaired to use. But the impressiveness of anything was up to Ichigo to decide.
