Personality: Marama is a strange person, should she say the least. She likes books, and reading, keeping to herself mostly : the inner designs of courts and politics do no interest her. She has also never really indulged into the Sugiura magic either. Very kept to herself, she displays a perfect training of control as a retainer. She is calm, balanced, doesn't rush into things easy : very much a solid boat when need to be. She is kind to others, but can be rought when necessary : swallowing her own pain and desires to facilliate for others of her clan. She is extremely stubborn, and will take on more then her shoulders can bear. Marama is a quietly passionate person, often doing the little things that no one notices. She will defend those she cares for to the death, and has weird compulsions. She's very good at all tasks a perfect housewife should be proud of and then some : multi-talent in those fields and that of the arts, she is a perfectly well adapted thinker. She thinks about situations, and is very perceptive and knowledgeable, due to her devouring books : with eidetic memory, she remembers everything in a flash. Also, Marama is used to a routine, and will follow this routine with almost compulsitory need : if she cannot complete her routine, she may turn more then slightly scary.

General Appearance

Appearance: Marama is definitely a striking woman : in tip top shape and form, she seems to be very eye catching, perhaps due to some sort of breeding by her parents, both pretty people if they worked hard. She seems to have kept a good, athletic shape, meant to keep her body up and running during hardous tasks. She seems to keep her clothes clean, along with her weapons, and always keeps a sort of grace about her, deadly almost. She's very unique, with her green hair and eyes, and her nifty glasses : not that she needs them but you know. They just look cool.

Natural Abilities

Techinques: The Forest that Sleeps Ziva is a giver of life and fertility : plants and woods fall under her domain, along with animals. This means that at all times, Marama is connected to nature : almost like a dryad, she can hear the voices of the trees, of the grass, of the earth itself and those that belong to those realms. This allows her to speak to animals and nature to find out things : as a passive skill, it only allows her to communicate with her environment. With plants, this is a near constant basis, a drone in the back of her mind offering bountiful information. She must directly communicate with animals unless she wants to hear their chatter. Finally, she can speak to the ground itself, by keeping contact with it : it allows her to see what happened on the ground she treads on, and even track people to their impression on such.

Dance of the Dryad Marama, being in close contact with Ziva, gains the ability to manipulate plants, trees and other such things. Mainly, this ability allows her to use her energy to interact and manipulate the make up of the area around her. She can even produce vines and flowers from her very own body, or quickly grow a seed. This allows her to be immune to plant based poisons as well, as long as they are natural plants she has interacted with [Belladona, Poison Ivy, ect.]

Lament of Spores Connected the plants and their lives, Marama has the ability to produce spores, scents and liquids that are generally affilted to plants from her body. With ressearch into medical methods, she can create her own variations to create such things as a poison spore mist. The downside is that these things can affect allies as well.

Sacred Weapon: A set of 20 4 inch daggers, all connected to resistant wires. Able to be freely manipulated by Marama.

Guardian Beast

Element: Life, Fertility [Plantlife exclusive currently]

Guardian Beast: Ziva is a large plant : within it's own world, it can span several miles in length. It is huge. It also holds spore vaults and vine tendrils with hooks on the end. Saying the beast's name will summon it's large form, but if the user says ''Summon, Ziva Spores'' it will summon 1 feet versions of the guardian beast. These versions can combine together and create bigger versions : 10 of them will be summoned this way, as the user has to wait 2 posts before summoning another batch, up to a max of 30. Finally, Ziva has assistants, named Siwa : they are also summonable.

Guardian Beast's World: The world is full of forests, and trees, over seen by the sky, which are Ziva's petals. At the top of the mountain, lies Ziva's core, and the Siwa.

Sacred Unleashed

Joushou:("Ascending") Joushou is the first stage of a Sugiura's power. This is like their Shikai. It is only tapping into a small percentage of their power, exactly 25%. It is mainly the form that they dream of, and it is up to the Guardian beast to decide if the wish is to be granted or not.

-- Marama gains the ability to shift her body into the nature itself : as long as it is around and not clear earth/an animal. Her skin turns a little green as well, and also allows her to heal faster if in sunlight, due to her body preforming photosynthesis for her wounds. In the sun, her wounds take 4 posts to fully heal.


Zenou: ("Almighty") This form is their version of Bankai. This takes many years to learn, and then many many more to perfect. This is only tapping into 50% of their power. Their speed, strength, stamina, and durability increases quite a bit.

Keeping all former abilities, and where as her wounds take 3 posts instead of four, Marama also gains the ability to greater control plants, enough to turn about 40m of nature against the opponent. This allows her to begin implicating animals as well into her attacks, should they choose too. Her hair becomes very leafy, and vines are seeping out of her body.


Kyuu Kyou:("Ultimate") The final stage of a Sugiura's power. This is 100% of their power, and their soul. Their abilities are increased substantially, and most of the time Kyuu Kyou is forbidden to be released. Few have mastered it, for it is so taxing to release it. It is manifested as the true form of one's soul.

Keeping all former abilities and where as wounds take 2 posts to heal. Marama becomes the pillar of life and fertility. She sprouts wings of vine and leaves that actually can make her fly, and the very earth itself is now her weapon. Any animal may heed her call and turn instantly aggressive, even allowing her to change their size and make them more deadly if needed. Marama also becomes able to control plants ever better, with just a thought at this point, increasing her range up to 80m of area. She also has the ability to place her hands on someone's chest, and if uninterrupted for 2 posts, can drain actual energy from them. However, this energy is unusuable and simply dissipates.

Alter Form

Alter Appearance: The alter form, nammed Morana, is actually much younger looking then Marama herself. Looking about twelve, she still holds the same green hair and eyes, with the addage of beautiful, vivid green wings. She looks cute, childish, and innocent, almost charmingly so, with a cute little smile.

Alter Personality: Morana is a psycopathic, possessive, and nonetheless, utterly insane bitch. She hates her other self [Marama] with such a passion : she wants to rape her, abuse her and finally kill her to take control of the body. Morana has no remorse, no impulse control : she is a child whom has learned to kill and enjoys it. Eating her enemies is enjoyable : murdering them from the inside out is also quite amusing. She adores death, murder, chaos, and attempts to mindfuck Marama as much as possible, looking for any weakness in her composure to take advantage of.

Alter Powers: The alter form can control the DNA of plantlife to minute detail, creating twisting mutations from her own body or from a 20m radius around her.

Seeds of Destruction This allows her to grow and expand things even if she is not directly seeing or touching them. The most practical example is managing to get someone to eat a seed of a rose bush, and then making it grow whilst inside the person, to the point that they explode.

Past & Roleplay Sample

Character Background: Birth was a simple proccess and easily glossed over. Childhood was a regiment of training, simple as that. Things seemed off, almost as if they were fake : but it did not concern the green haired child. Why? Because eventually, the trust would come : there was no need to be so anxious to not have it, if it was coming eventually, The green haired girl in fact, seemed to be little effected by anything, burying herself in the world of books, and eventually, running away from home. Well, it was more of a planned leave, telling her father or perhaps just caretaker, that she was leaving to go read books for a while, and live life on the human plane. With a sigh, she was allowed, and her journey possibly began there.

Arriving on earth, she easily found an area to be, with a lot of books : help from the man that raised her was also good, as she lived on her own. She devoured all sorts of books : but her favorite were about wild life and plants. Voices inside of her head were these creatures : digging deeper, she found the realm of her Guardian Beast, with a little practice meditation of course. The humans has so many books on everything, that it was useful. The power of plants was easily granted, and on her own, away from the Sugiura society, she managed her powers. But something was off : she could hear a voice not of nature and not of Ziva, inside of her head.

Marama met Morana for the first time, and came out with a confused expression, frightened a bit. What was this? What was this thing lodged inside of her? What her past, largely a blank, had accomplished for such a feat? Her perfect memory had no answer : intrigued, she moved herself. It was time to return home, to see what this was, and what had been buried.
